chapter 14

Kavish came back and found her sleep. He looked at her with amusement. He gave instructions to Ravi not to disturb him. He did his work quietly as she couldn't be disturb and woke up.

He finished his work and looked at clock. It's lunch time and she was sleeping soundly. He didn't want her to skip her meal. But he also didn't want to disturb her sleep. He was in dilemma. Soon, he decided her to wake up. She could sleep after eating.

He went to her and called her name with affection, "Suhana"

But there was no response. He called her again but there was no response. He sat on floor by his knees and shook her lightly, "Suhana"

Suddenly, he felt pain on his chest. He was not on his guard that's why he pushed hardly but he maintained her balance by his hands.

He looked at her who was sleeping with dumbfounded. He never thought  she who is looking so fragile or innocent.... is really so fierce. Even, she slapped him before but he thought she was angry that's why but now....

Suhana who hit punch him suddenly woke up. She felt she hit someone who was touching her. She looked at person in front of her with horror. There was horrified into her eyes. She sat immediately and looked at him differently.

When he saw the look on her face, he forgot she punched him. He knew that look. There was a terrible doubt in his mind. No way, how can it possible? But.... that look... He felt himself that's why he can't misunderstand that look.

He suddenly shook his head and called her name with urgency, "Suhana"

Suhana came into her senses after hearing her name from his mouth. She looked at him clearly. When she noticed it's him, she took a deep breath.

He asked hestitation, "Suhana .... Whhat..   happened just now?"

Suhana looked away and shook her head, "nothing"

He gulped his saliva. After many years, he was scared  for something... Not for himself.... But  for her.

Suhana looked at his pale face. She pursed her lips tightly, "I am going washroom." She rushed towards washroom.

After locking the door from inside, she stood in front of mirror and looked herself. There was hatred into her eyes but she couldn't do about it anything. Why was she like it? Why? She washed her face many times with water. No, it's nightmare and she forgot completely.

When she finally calmed down, she came out from washroom. And looked at Kavish who was sitting on couch with lowering his head.

He noticed Suhana came out from washroom. He looked at her with sadness and asked with hestitation, "Suhana, is it because of me?"

Suhana didn't expect he would ask her. She gulped her saliva. After thinking many times, she shook her head, "no, it's nothing about you. That time, I was drugged that's why I didn't recall anything except blurred memory about that time. I am just like it since childhood." She lied last part. It's true she was not like it because of him. Even, she felt warmth with him. She never felt disgusting to his touch.

But she can't tell him truth. She forgot many years ago and she didn't want to recall it again.

Kavish felt relieved to hear it. But he knew it's not simple matter. He asked with concern, "something happened in your childhood?"

She refused without second thought, "My childhood was happy. My family loves me a lot. So don't think so much." She didn't like anybody bad mouthed her family. And it's true it's nothing about her family. Even, her family didn't knew anything.

He nodded with understanding. He was relieved to hear it. It was only doubt not real. He changed the topic, "Suhana, let's eat. You will be hungry."

Suhana made her face. She already ate snacks. Because of full stomach, she slept soundly. She denied with pout, "no, I am not hungry."

He chuckled to looking at her funny face. He sat to beside her and coaxed in warmth tone, "please eat something."

She frowned to hear it. She was not child. why was he coaxing her?

At last, he convinced her to eat something.

In evening, she somehow convinced him to let her go her Nanda Association. She was feeling like he was controlling her life. But she was helpless because she can't offend him. She didn't want him to be angry as he will kill her. Even, he was not cold and rude to her but his warmth and nice nature gave her suspect.

She reached at her company and took a deep breath. When she smelled of her company, her heart was at ease. Even, her company was not big like his group but it was her company. She directly went to her department and knocked the door of Mr Sharma.

Krishan Sharma said polielty as usual, "come in"

When he looked at Suhana, he stood up and tried to explain, "Suhana please sit. You misunderstood us."

Her mind was clear now. She wanted to avoid Kavish that's why she got angry at morning. She knew it's not professional.

She also said polielty, "Sir, I am sorry. I was also rude at morning."

Krishan Sharma chuckled, "it's ok Suhana. You was right. But you are a potential employee. I respect you. Is he really as rumours?" He asked last sentence with raising his eyebrows.

Suhana was speechless. What to say. No, he is not definitely. It's because of her personal reason. She wanted to avoid him but she couldn't tell anything to Mr Sharma.

She said carefully, "he is not like rumours. He is nice person."

Mr Sharma looked at her with suspicious. It's first time when he heard She appreciated any male other than her colleagues.

He smiled, "it's good then. Tell me, what he suggested." Even, Kavish didn't say anything clear but suhana told what they discussed. Even she had to go again.

It was day of doctor appointment. She had to take half day leave that's why she lied to Kavish that she was on full day leave. Kavish didn't suspect her and agreed. Even, he wanted to spend time with her but she had also her family.

That day, Suhana was glad. She spend time with her colleagues. They did  gossip and talked what they didn't tell to each other since few days.

At noon, Suhana went to hospital for checkup. She was healthy now but doctor told her to check up that's why she came. She did already prescribed tests and it was time to show the result to doctor. She went to her cabin and the attendant told her, "actually, doctor is in operation ward. There was emergency. If you can come again, I will give you appointment."

Suhana said polielty, "please ask her because I am to only show her result. She told me to come today that's why I came."

The attendant nodded and called to doctor. After contacting, the attendant told about Suhana. After few moments, she hung up and looked at Suhana, "the doctor is waiting for you at operation ward. She is free now. Go hurry up. The operation ward at second building on top floor."

Suhana thanked her with smile and took steps towards operation ward.

After few minutes, she reached at operation ward. She gave her file at reception and told doctor name. The recipient said her to wait and called.

After hung up, she looked at Suhana, "just wait for few minutes. The doctor is coming."

Suhana nodded and sat on bench for waiting. After few minutes, the recipient called her name and told her to go inside cabin.

As she took steps towards cabin, she was stopped by somebody held her hand tightly. She turned and looked the person who hold her hand. Looking at his terrified and buring eyes, she startled, "Kavish"

He held her hand tightly and almost dragged her towards exit. She was confused. She tried to struggle free her hand but his grip was strong than her. She helplessly followed him.

He was shaking with anger. It was hard for him to control himself. He took her a silent place in hospital. She looked her surroundings there was nobody. She looked at him horror. 'What did she do wrong? Does he want to kill her? It's hospital and better place to hide deceive body.'

Kavish was glaring her. He waited her to tell him herself but she didn't tell him. He thought she needed time. But now, she lied to him and came into hospital herself. Even in operation ward. When she didn't take initiative to say, He asked with gritted teeth, "how dare you to kill my child."

Suhana frowned to hear it. He was glaring as he will kill her. She didn't want to die soon that's why she explained, "your child? Do you have child? I didn't know. I swear I  didn't meet your child then how can I dare to kill him?" She thought, 'he was rich. It's common to have secret child. He has child. Is he married? Shit, she slept with married man. It was accident but it's disgusting for her.'

Kavish processed her words into his mind. When he noticed, she misunderstood him. He frowned and scolded, "I don't have any child. What are you saying nonsense?"

She pouted, "Didn't you blame me to kill your child?"

He wanted to slap her and gave her some common senses but it's useless. this damn girl, he was really helpless. Why was she slow witted? He tried to control his temper and asked, "I am asking about our...." He looked at her stomach. He continued, "If you are not here for abortion, what were you doing in operation ward?"

"Abortion?.... Me?" She looked at her stomach. When she got sense what he was saying, she immediately retreated back. She glared at him, "how can you spout nonsense? How can I pregnant?"

He looked at her with raising his eyebrows as he was asking, 'has she doubt on him?'

She immediately looked away with blushing cheeks but covered quickly. She explained, "I am not pregnant. I am not here abortion. I have some ladies problem that's why...."

He didn't believe it but took the test results from her hand. He examined every reports carefully and asked with hestitation, "you are not...."

She shook her head. Then she recalled everything. He asked her about doctor appointment. Then he insisted her to eat more and more.

She asked doubtful, "do you think I am....?"

He nodded without hestitation. She said proudly, "don't worry. I took pills."

He glared at her with darken face. This damn girl is slow witted but she knows to do what she shouldn't to do.

She said with making her face, "the doctor is busy. I took appointment by efforts. I have to go otherwise i will miss chance." She already deposited the fees. Her money would be vain because of person in front of her. He was rich but she was common girl. Her money is important for her.

Before she turned and left, he held her wrist and said calmly, "Forget about this doctor. Come with me."

"but...." He didn't listen her but dragged her towards his car. After seated into car, he started to drive the car. After hearing that Suhana was in operation ward, his blood boiled with anger and he left everything. He drove the car himself even, he broke every traffic signal. He wanted to punish this girl not telling him and taking decision without discussing him. After all, it was his child and Suhana was his girl.

If the girl was another, he didn't care. But spending time with her, his feelings got strong for her. Her facial expressions, her confident in her work, her silliness for personal life everything was perfect for him.

Suhana looked at kavish was driving without expression. Was he treating her nice because he thought she was pregnant with his child? Does he treat nice to every women who slept with him? She pursed her lips tightly to think about it.

Kavish noticed her gaze on himself but he liked it. He didn't look at her because he knew she would look away.

He stopped the car in front of hospital. It was one top hospital of city. The minimum fees of doctor is around her one month salary. She hestitated to get out from car. He noticed and said in low voice, "come out Suhana."

Suhana denied, "no, I recalled I have some important work. I will go later for check up."

He knew she was making excuses. He rubbed his temple and said, "Suhana I am warning you. Come out otherwise...."

Suhana tried to convince, "I am telling truth...." Before she say something more, he came to her side and opened the door. She retreated back but he lifted her into his arms. She screamed loudly, "Kavish, what are you doing? Put me down."

He smirked, "I warned you but you didn't listen me. Now keep quiet."

She noticed everyone looked at them with amusement. It's really embrassment. She suddenly hide her head on his chest. He chuckled because of her reaction. In the elevator, he didn't put her down. He was afraid that she would run away. She was hearing his heart beat clearly.  They heard an aged couple who looked at them with smiling said, "girl, you are lucky. Your husband is so caring."

She looked at them with shocked. She opened her mouth to correct them, 'he is not my husband.' then what will she say them? 'Who is he?'

She looked at him for say something. But he was standing like he didn't hear anything. She whispered as only he could hear, "put me down. Others are misunderstanding us."

He was enjoying it. Why would he miss the chance to get compliment from others? He knew mostly bad mouthed on his back. They only licked his boots in front of him. It's first time someone praised him heartily. How could he miss the chance? He whispered back, "let them misunderstood. Why are you caring?"

She was speechless. Shouldn't he have to be caring? After all, it's about his reputation. She was common girl that's why her image is low than him. If everyone misunderstood him, isn't it hard for him to get married?

But she didn't say anything.
