chapter 16

Kavish was out of station because of his business. His business was spread in mostly cities of country or foreign countries. In foreign countries, he only goes once or in urgency while inside country, he visited every branch personally time to time. This time, he also went out of station for inspection.

When he was looking report, he asked to Ravi who was standing beside him, "is the report finished to incharge of that project?"

Ravi immediately understood which project his boss was talking. Since his boss met with her, he mostly asked or talked about her.

He quickly gave response, " Yes Sir, the report is ready about eligible employees."

Kavish gave the file which he was looking back  after his signature to Ravi and asked for the other report which they were talking.

Ravi gave him file. Kavish looked carefully everyone profile. Everyone was top employees of his company. It means they are best candidate of country. Ravi told about everyone in details.

In last, he said, "Sir, it's Sameer Mehra. He is currently working one of our foreign branch. He is one of best and ambitious employee.  Actually, he belongs to India and his family is here that's why he wants to return. He personally submitted his report for this project because it's best chance for him to return back in india."

Kavish also looked his report. He was impressed by Sameer's work. Sameer is young and ambitious guy. He is doing best in foreign but he wants to return back in india. It means he loves his roots.

Kavish always motivates this type of person. But this time, it's about his girl. He can't be careless.

After thinking, he asked coldly, "Did you investigate about him?"

Ravi nodded, "Yes sir, I already investigated about it." Ravi gave his personal information to Kavish. Kavish read clearly. After getting satification, he said calmly, "contact him and arrange to appoint him in the city."

Ravi nodded and left. Kavish wanted to go himself as he could see and meet her but he was out of station. Most importantly, she didn't try to contact him. May be, she didn't want to meet him or see him. He respected her decision. He didn't want her to force. After looking at her medical report, he was feeling hurt towards her.

Suhana was glad to think that she had chance to meet him. Even she didn't know why she wanted to meet him.. see him.

It's the day of meeting. Everyone was nervous in Nanda Association. Even, Mr Nanda was nervous. And suhana was not exception. She didnt know what to say him or how to face him. She shook her head with disappointment. She was professional. Why was she thinking nonsense? She mentally scolded herself. Think about only project nothing else. She took many  deep breaths to calm down herself. Krishan Sharma noticed her reaction and asked in whispering tone, "Suhana, are you nervous?"

Suhana nodded her head. Krishan Sharma gave her courage, "Suhana, don't forget you are best. Do your best. And don't think so much."

She nodded her head with trying to smile.

In the meeting room, they are waiting for Mr Singh. At the right time, the door was opened and everyone looked towards door. Two men entered into room. Suhana's face got paled to them. She felt she stopped to breathing.

One of them introduced himself, "hello, Mr Nanda, I am Sameer Mehra came from Singh group. I am incharge of this project. And this is my assistant Naveen Kashyap."

Mr Nanda smiled polielty, "Your welcome Mr Mehra and Mr Kashyap. Please be seated." Mr Nanda didn't know them but he knew if Mr Singh appointed them. They were best candidates.

Sameer gave him smile back and sat on his secluded seat while Naveen sat beside him.

Mr Nanda introduced Suhana and Mr Sharma to Sameer, "Mr Mehra, this is Krishan Sharma. He is incharge of project and it's Suhana triveni. Mr sharma's assistant."

Sameer nodded his head towards them. Krishan greeted them in back. But when suhana didn't give any response. Mr sharma whispered lightly into her ear, "Suhana, what happened to you? Are you alright? You are looking pale."

After hearing it, Suhana came into her senses and tried to smile, "Hello Mr Mehra, hello mr Kashyap."

Naveen gave her smile back but there was no expression on Sameer face.

Suhana calm down herself. Soon she became professional. She presented the project without any flaw. It's her ability that when she became professional, she forgot her personal feelings.

Sameer and other investors asked her question. She answered one by one. Kavish gave her tips which was useful to her. That's why this time she was more confident. Everyone was satisfied with project.

In end, Sameer told, "the project is fine but I can't take decision without discussing to our CEO. So please give me some time to discuss with him."

Mr Nanda agreed, "We have no problem. You can discuss."

Everyone left the meeting room except Sameer and Naveen. Both were returned from foreign. They worked together in many projects. And they have bounding between them.

When everyone left, Naveen sat lazily on chair and commented, "That girl.. Suhana didn't look like intelligent but she is experienced. I thought only foreign ladies are beautiful with brains. But now a days Indian girls are not behind."

Sameer glared him and gritted his teeth, "Give her respect. She is Miss Triveni. We are professional and be professional. Next time, I won't give you chance to explain."

Naveen never saw Sameer like it. Even Sameer was not interested about girls talk but he never show objection. This time what happened to him? It's not first time when Naveen commented on any girl in front of Sameer but Sameer never reacted.

Looking at his glare, Naveen startled and sat carefully. He apologized, "Sorry sir, next time I will be careful."

Sameer pretended as he didn't listen. He said, "Mr Singh will be online in few seconds. Get ready."

Naveen nodded and within few seconds, Kavish was online. They discussed about project.

Kavish asked coldly, "What is your opinion about this project?"

Sameer told truthfully, "Sir, I checked every details. It's good project. We can earn profit in future. But I read contract I think the sharing ratio is low. We can negotiate."

Kavish said calmly, "No need, it's my decision. Sigh the contract and see you later."

Sameer nodded, "ok sir, see you later."

Kavish logout and looked at his laptop screen blankly. After few minutes, he started to work.

Sameer told the decision of Mr singh to everyone. Everyone was excited. Shyam nanda and Sameer signed the contract. They did handshake. Mr Nanda said gladly, "it's our honor to work with your company."

Sameer smiled, "it's really good project. I hope we will do best in future."

Mr Nanda nodded. Sameer looked at Suhana and smiled, "Miss Triveni, it's nice to meet you."

Suhana smile fakely, "Same here."

Now, Suhana work finished here that's why she left. She told the good news to her colleagues. They beamed with excitement. Reema said with put her hand on her chest, "at last, we succeed."

Sanaya jumped with happiness, "why don't we do party tonight?"

Raj said with frown, "nah, I am so tired. I want to sleep whole day and night on my bed."

Juhi agreed, "We did hard work. I am also tired."

Sanaya looked at Suhana. Reema joked, "don't look at her. She is already boring."

Arun suggested, "We all are owe to Suhana for a treat. Why don't we go out today for dinner?"

He looked Suhana for pleading eyes. Everyone agreed that's why Juhi said in behalf of Everyone, "ok then let's go for dinner."

Suhana also agreed, "fine, but first ask to mr Sharma if he wants to go out with us or not?"

When they asked to Krishan Sharma, he agreed with smile, "ofcourse, it's time for celebration. Boss is happy with us."

Krishan Sharma was good boss that's why his subordinates were always happy with him. He never forgot to praise and motivate his subordinates for good work and told them their mistakes as in future they would give their best.

It's departure time that's why Suhana went towards exit with her female colleagues. They were chatting and smiling. Suhana was also happy.

As they were walking towards exit, they heard a loud masculine voice from their behind, "Miss Triveni"

Suhana and her female colleagues stopped to hear it. Suhana knew who it was without looking back. But she turned back and looked Sameer was coming towards her with smile. He stopped in front of her and said with curling his lips, "miss Triveni, congratulations for project."

Suhana blinked her eyes with confusion. She didnt know what he wanted to do. He ignored her in meeting room as he didn't know her but here he took initiative to talk her. Even, its office off time that's why many employees were exiting.

She smiled fakely, "Mr Mehra, thank you and congratulations to you."

He smiled brightly and raised his hand for handshake, "Miss Triveni"

Juhi, Sanaya and Reema were looking them with shocking face. Sameer was so handsome and as he was talking to her anybody can say it's not professional. As he raised his hand for handshake, they were worried. Everyone knew Suhana didn't like to anybody touch her. Even, they are females but they also thinks twice before touching her because of her response. If in business meeting, anybody wants to handshake with her, Mr sharma does in behalf of her.

As Juhi tried to explain, "Mr Mehra."

Without anyone expectations, Suhana did handshake, "Mr Mehra, it's nice to meet you."

Sameer smiled wildly and pulled her towards himself. In next moment, they were hugging in front of everyone. Everyone looked at them with opened mouth. Even, Naveen who came behind Sameer looked them with widened eyes. He knew very well Sameer didn't like to talk and touch any girl. Now, he was looking Sameer was hugging to a girl infront of everyone. He understood why Sameer got angry when he commented on Suhana. It means they knew each other from starting. Why didn't Sameer tell him?

Raj arun and Krishan sharna also came and looked them with widened eyes.

Sameer patted her back and asked with curiosity, "How is my surprise, Suha?"

Suhana smiled and pushed him lightly. She looked into his eyes and pretended to angry, "it's your surprise Sam?"

Sameer nodded with amusement, "don't you like?"

She pouted and hit on his arm lightly, "I thought you forgot me."

He laughed and poked her forehead lightly, "Silly, how can I forget you?"

She asked with making her face, "why didn't you tell me you came back? When did you come back?"

He smiled, "if I told you before, how can I give you surprise? And I want to tell you personally. That I came back."

She frowned, "but I am angry to you. Don't talk me."

He laughed, "but I am hungry. I met you after many years. You want me to die with hunger."

She hit his arm hardly this time, "don't talk nonsense."

He agreed, "fine fine... I won't say it again."  He looked at Suhana's colleagues and asked with smile, "You are her colleagues right?"

They were looking them with awe. They came into senses when they heard Sameer was talking to them. They nodded repeatedly.

Sameer smiled brightly, "I heard all of you are going out for dinner. Can I join you?"

They looked at Suhana who was smiling heartily. They never saw Suhana like it. They were working with her since many years but it was frist time they looked her this side.

Krishan Sharma took initiative, "of course, Mr Mehra you can come with us." He looked at Suhana and asked with hestitation, "both of you know each other?"

Suhana smiled and nodded while Sameer explained while putting his hand on Suhana's shoulder, "We are best friends. I went to aboard that's why we lost contact. But now, we meet again. Am I right Suha?"

Suhana nodded with smile, "you are always right, Sam. Now, let's go. I am hungry."

He nodded. They didn't believe that Suhana could behave like it. She always looked boring and didn't let anyone touch her. But she didn't dodge Sameer off while she was looking comfortable. Are they...? Everyone looked at each other to confirm. Is it real? Everyone nodded together.
