WHICH WAY TO GO

"I love you Zhan ge."

"I love you Xiao Zhan."

"Please don't leave me."

Even though it was just a whisper, I heard it clearly. And the person saying this was none other than Wang Yibo.

At first I thought I was seeing it wrong. Because no way Wang Yibo can be in love. Say it perks or whatever you want to but being the son of Mrs. Yu Wanyue makes me aware of every single updates in the social circle. My mother was always the social butterfly type. Though I won't say she feeds off of gossips but she's one of those ladies who has eyes everywhere! But whatever it is, Wang is a sensitive good person is far from truth.

He's famous for being the spoilt brat, the playboy. He creates scenes in their very own company. He sleeps around. He does bike racing. But love doesn't fit with his picture. Not at all.

But the Wang Yibo I was seeing right now doesn't match with any of his reputation. He looks broken and lost. He looks shattered. And that's because he loves my gege? I won't like to believe it. But somehow it feels believable. Gege left the place already but Wang Yibo stays there kneeling, his head crouched down.

I look towards the direction my gege went. Did he really not feel it? Or is he that heartless? But I won't believe my gege being heartless. He definitely has a valid reason to reject Wang Yibo.

Looking at Wang Yibo, he doesn't look good. Though not tracable to naked eyes but I felt him shivering slightly. He stayed like that shivering leaving me wondering what to do. Should I call up his family? He doesn't look well. He looks like he was going to have a fever! I couldn't find any valid reason to his reaction that way but I had no choice but to call his family. And I chose to call his older brother Haikuan. Partly because he's the only one in his family I'm kinda familiar with.

When Mr. Haikuan came to the place, Wang Yibo was still sitting in the same position. Like he hasn't even moved a bit. But looking at Yibo Haikuan panicked instantly, which surprised me a bit.

Haikuan embraced Yibo with all his might, and when that didn't work he shook him. If Yibo wasn't in a trance which I realized he was in noticing his eyes, he would have been really shaken. No normal person will be comfortable with that shake. But Yibo didn't show any sign of getting better. If anything he got worse. And it took him only a few minutes to collapse later on.

I was shocked, to see the famous spoilt brat Wang Yibo in that state. Nothing was coinciding with the reputation he holds. And Haikuan's behaviour proved that it's better not everyone know about this. He left the place with Wang Yibo on his back leaving through the back exit of the hotel not even informing Mr. and Mrs. Wang. Strange!

When I entered the banquet hall again I found gege and pa in a deep conversation which didn't feel good. It's good in a way that gege was here to take over the hospital. He's capable of it.

Oh and his face didn't show anything unusual!

I think I should give it a rest for now. I approach my mother who was busy mingling with her friends. When I was there she just gave me all her attention, smiling at me like the angel she is. She's the best mother in the whole wide world. You wouldn't know unless you observe her closely.

She has lots of sides. The angelic mom side, when he gives me the best upbringing as she can. The angry side, when she can kill if any harm comes to me or pa or gege. The cranky side which she only shows to dad, when he shows his usual aloof side. And many more.

And I love when she knows everything just looking at my face.

"A-Chang. What's on your mind?"

I couldn't tell her now. I didn't want to bring out gossip. So I just smiled and answered with a shot "nothing" and a shake of my head. And she being the amazing person she is didn't question me further. Even though I knew it wasn't enough for her and she was going to question me later when we both are alone.

And I wasn't wrong. When we were inside our car going back home she pressed me to tell her the truth.

"A-Chang, you know that you can talk to me about anything right?" She started. Pa and gege were talking about hospital stuff nonstop in the front seat.

"Hm. I know." I had to nod to make sure she understands that I know.

"Then if there's anything that is bothering you, you'd talk to me first right?"

I just look at her without answering. I wasn't certain if I should talk about it when gege was there. Did he know? I look at gege subtly though mom caught it. She followed my gaze and then looked at me. Realisation hitting her that it might be something about gege.

"Is it?" She wanted to make sure. I could see it in her face. Realisation, worry, uncertainty. And it's that look that got to me. I knew I couldn't hold it in anymore. I had to say it.

"Wang Yibo collapsed at the corridor tonight!"

And hearing this gege stiffened up for a second. I realised it maybe because I heard Wang Yibo say that. But gege kept the conversation with dad going. He pretended not to pay attention.

At home I was called in mom's home office. She was working on her laptop, probably on her new novel. I mean of course she needed to know more.

"Why did you want to tell me about Wang Yibo collapsing?"

"Ma! He loves gege."

"What?" Mom didn't sound so much surprised. It was like she knew it was going to happen somehow.

"Yeah. I heard him saying. Gege rejected him. That's why he was sad, sitting in the corridor."

"Strange! He shouldn't reject! After all that!" Mom was talking more to herself. I didn't know what she's talking about. It made no sense.

But one thing I was certain. She knew something.

Hello readers! I'm back.... I don't what I wrote in this chapter! I was lost and I just wanted to write... And I did.... My grandma is talking nonstop lying by my side! What the heck am I doing?!
