FOR YOU I'LL FIGHT

After gege went out I looked at the way he went for a few seconds. The desperation I saw in his eyes was real. I probably misunderstood ge all these years. He didn't go to help Zanjin ge but he always felt guilty about it. That is what it feels like now. I gave out a sigh.

"That's a patient in our hospital. I hope your brother doesn't agitate him. He's going through a lot right now."

I look at Xiao Zhan. He has a neutral expression on his face. Of course he has. I gave him a smile, if you could even call it one. "He won't. He cares about Zanjin ge a lot."

"Okay. So. Yibo." He shows the seat in front of him for me to sit down and I did. "Now then. About the laboratory....."

I stop him in the middle. "You don't have to worry. I have this file with me with how we can work together on this project." I give him a file with all details in it which he takes and starts going through it. "But I have one condition. It's best if we can reduce us two meeting to the bare minimum. We shouldn't meet unless it's dire necessity. I think you'd prefer that too."

I tried to hide the cracking of my voice and the breaking of my heart as much as possible. And by experience I know how successful I am right now. Zhan ge wouldn't know!

He shows an unreadable expression on his face. "Yeah. That's for the better."

"I'll send someone from the architecture team for you to talk about how you want to work with it. If you want anything you can talk to my secretary, Miss Diana Wilson. Here's my card the second one is the number that my secratary holds." I put my card on the table beside where he put the file. He takes it and goes through it. "Also we'll need a signature of you on that file as an agreement to the project. You can have two days to go through it and two days later my secretary will reach out to you to collect it back and talk about further procedures."

We came here at around six and it's already seven o clock. So I prepare to get up perceiving that our meeting was already over. We both stood up and I extended my hand to shake with his. "Thank you Mr. Xiao Zhan. We look forward to working with you." I bring out my most professional smile and attitude.

After getting out of Zhan ge's cabin the tense feeling around my heart loosens a little. I call gege so that we could go back home. But he tells me to wait. I get out of the hospital and enter a cafe right opposite the hospital and sit at a table by the window facing the hospital. I could see everything from here. I saw Uncle Xiao get out of the hospital with his wife and second son. I saw other doctors come out and go in but not my gege. Where's my gege?

I have two security details and gege has one in our car that we took to come here. With the car standing on the opposite side of the hospital in a parking space in front of a restaurant. That's when I saw Xiao Zhan coming out of the hospital. He was in black jeans and a grey sweater with a black blazer on it. He looked beautiful as always. I still remember the first day we met. I still remember the mole under his lips. I still remember the feel of him in my arms. But that seems like a distant dream. Confusing feeling I understand. But what could I have done.

I watch Zhan ge look around for a cab. Wait doesn't he have a car he drives here? Then he was standing calling someone. A little kitten was scratching on the legs of his pants and he looked down at it.

The way looked at it and played with with looked so perfect I felt like loosing myself in the view. I could do it forever. Unknowingly I got out of the cafe crossed the road and walked straight towards him.

Suddenly a black car came and stood in front of him. Wait! What? When the car left Zhan ge was nowhere to be seen. Even the little kitten. Like there wasn't one in the first place. Am I hallucinating again? I felt like my body was heavy. I couldn't hear anything. I couldn't feel anything. I was sitting there frozen. Wait, wasn't I standing just now? No! Not now. Zhan ge! I looked at the back of the leaving car.

Suddenly every noice came back to me at once. Mine and ge's security details came to me rushing watching me act weird. When they reached me I already recovered myself. I held one of them by the arm and started dragging him with me.

"Yifan, Xiao Ding stay here and tell gege that I took Da Ding to follow a car that took Xiao Zhan. He'll know what to do." And then I rushed to the car and followed the black car. But keeping a distance because I didn't want to be caught and put Xiao Zhan into any danger.

I only took one bodyguard because I wasn't planning on putting myself in their radar. But if the need be I knew how to fight. Both me and gege learned to fight around ten years ago. And both of us were a pro in it by now.

While tailing the car I noted the number of the car though I knew it was most probably fake. I kept praying in my heart. Xiao Zhan, please be safe!

Even trying so hard we lost track of the car after a while. After all Beijing has traffic and it wasn't helping.

"Da Ding, take the underpass."

"Sir." After this brief instruction we took the underpass and reached the highway. I wasn't sure this is the road they'll take but for some reason my gut was telling me to take the highway.

Without mistake we found the car on the highway. But it stopped at the side of the highway. And we did too at a distance. I knew I was taking a risk, but I got out of the car leaving Da Ding behind. Even he insisted on going with me I couldn't let him. Because if I was in danger he would be able to inform my family to save me.

"How about I go instead of you, sir?"

"That can't do." I will be the one to save my Xiao Zhan. He wouldn't understand the importance, will he? "Now stay in the car and act according to how the situation turns out."

Slowly reaching the back of the car I try to find Zhan ge. There was only a driver at the car. I heard a nearly inaudible groan from the backseat. Zhan ge!

But before I could do anything, even before I could go near my Zhan ge, a set of baseball bat hitting me. Without time to react I took every single hit. And suddenly a bright light lighted up all of us. Me being hit and the others hitting me. With fear of getting caught the things got to the car fast and left.

And the last thing I saw was Da Ding rushing to me before everything turned dark.

Hey guys! My lovelies.... I'm on a roll these days... So here's another chapter....

Yeah Xiao Zhan got kidnapped... Everything is a mess right now... But don't worry, things will get better.... I can't promise a happy ending as of now.... Because I have three endings in my head and I'm not sure which one I'd go with in the end.... So please be patient and keep supporting me...
