THE WEDDING

Despite the fact that we all lose who we love sometimes, that doesn't stop us from moving on with our lives.

Just like Haikuan lost Zanjin. Just like Yibo lost Zhan. Just like Zhuochang lost Haikuan. But they are still going strong. Because they have to live their lives. Haikuan has Li Mingyuan now. And Yibo has Fanxing. Zhuochang has Mianmian. The reasons for them to be strong and be there for them.

Today is Wednesday and the wedding of Haikuan with Li Mingyuan.

There's hustle and bustle everywhere in the hotel ballroom. Obviously the wedding was arranged by Yibo. So not a single thing looks out of place. Yibo has been regretting treating his gege bad. So he did his all to compensate for that.

Yibo is moving around here and there in a rush to manage the last minute preparations. Fanxing is with his grandma and Hua ye. The four years old Fanxing is looking at his dada moving around being busy with big eyes. He's never seen his dada this busy. This was new to him. He followed Yibo's path with his eyes while clinging to Mrs. Wang's neck like a baby koala.

In five minutes they'll all be going to their respective hotel rooms to get ready for the wedding. The bride and groom are already getting ready in their room with the help of the bridesmaids and groomsmen and makeup artists.

Right in five minutes Yibo finishes up checking on everything and comes to his mother to take Fanxing from her.

"I'll get him ready. You guys go ahead and get ready."

Mrs. Carmen Wang wondered how her son has grew up. "Will you be okay on your own?"

Yibo smiles a little. "He's my son, mom. I'll be alright. Right, A-Xing?" The last part was directed to little Fanxing who was already being carried by his dada. "Dada will get A-Xing ready. A-Xing will look so handsome! Even more handsome that dada, right, Xing-Xing?"

Yibo went ahead carrying Fanxing to the direction of the elevator leaving behind a shocked mother and a proud uncle. The cute laughter of a child echoing through the room.

"Don't be shocked. You raised him right. I just fine tuned it a little." Uncle Hua said to Mrs. Wang and he too went to the elevator.

All of their rooms are on the 8th floor with the wedding taking place at the ballroom on the top floor, which is the 10th floor. The reception party will be held on the rooftop at night. Everything was arranged perfectly.

In Haikuan's room he was getting ready with the help of Jiaer and Zanjin. Yizhou was standing at the side looking at the two silly men trying to fit a boutonnière and arguing about which side it goes. Yizhou shakes his head and looks at his panicked friend, who's is looking at his reflection in the mirror.

"You look perfect, don't worry." Listening to Yizhou say this Haikuan looks at him through the mirror. He gives a smile.

"I'm ready!"

In the bride's room Li Mingyuan was sitting in front of the mirror. Her heir was being covered by the vail. She looks beautiful in the white mermaid wedding dress. The pink rose bouquet was sitting on the nightstand by the side of the dressing table. Her bridesmaids are gushing over her looks.

In Yibo's room Yibo got Fanxing ready in a blue suit made just for him. He got himself ready in matching suit with Fanxing. In white shirt, blue suit, blue formal pants and black bow tie, they both look so handsome they would attract attention.

In the ballroom there was a makeshift alter at the far end of the room and an arc was made there with flowers and lace. In front of the arc stood Haikuan in his dark magenta suit and pink rose boutonnière, matching Li Mingyuan's bouquet. The whole place looked so perfect it didn't look real.

The wedding went smoothly. The bride and groom said their vows with smiles and tears. They kissed for the first time. It all felt like a dream.

In the reception party everyone was having a lot of fun. At the head table with Haikuan and Li Mingyuan sat his family. Mr. Wang Daoren, Mrs. Carmen Wang, Wang Yibo and Wang Fanxing. The family looked perfect together putting smile on everyone's face just by existing.

And already it was time for the speeches. Haikuan's dad gave a heartfelt speech about his journey of being a father right from the moment Haikuan came to the world up until this very moment, seeing his older son starting his own family.

Yibo gave a speech about his realisation and trying to be a better didi. And a promise of being a better father to Fanxing.

A wedding should be a way of celebration and that's what they got. A celebration, a happy ending keeping aside all the struggles and sadness, even for a day.

After everything was done it was time for the first dance of the newlywed couple.

Haikuan has already chose a song which is actually a surprise for Mingyuan. Haikuan took her to the dancefloor. All the lights on the rooftop were dimmed. And a spotlight was focused on the newlywed couple.

A beautiful melody filled the surroundings. The couple started to sway with the song.

The song held everything Haikuan wanted to say to Mingyuan. And they conveyed his feelings perfectly.

And now it was time for the newlyweds to leave for their honeymoon!

I downed the champagne from the glass I was holding and put it back in its place. And then left in the night as if I wasn't even there!
