MY BIKER WITH BENEFITS

Today it's my turn to pick Fanxing up from school. I finish the round at 3 and then I'd have to run. Because today is Wang Yibo's birthday. And me and Fanxing are going to shopping to buy gift for him.

In front of the school gate, I was waiting with my car when I saw Fanxing getting out with his best friend Guo Chang. I watch them say their goodbyes to each other and then Fanxing finds me. And he runs towards me.

"A-Xing. No running." And instantly he listens. "So do we go buy present for dada?"

And the kid enthusiastically nods his head. I take his bag and settle him down in the car seat on the backseat of my car. Raising a kid isn't an easy job. But when doing it with Yibo I'm more than willing to do it.

The fact that I've hurt Yibo makes me feel guilty even to this day. I've told him right away that we should stop seeing each other. But never once did I ask what he wanted. I acted like a jerk and left him there not even looking back to know how he was. I remember that day, the party, everything. He was going to confess to me that day I rejected him even before he got to do that.

And despite all of that he never gave up on me. What did I do to deserve someone like him? Am I that lucky?

The three years I've let myself be a player, he stayed loyal to me. He kept loving me despite the fact that I was a jerk to him. Never has he complained. He just stayed there silently.

I don't know what I would have done if he really gave up on me. I heard from mom that he went after my kidnappers and even got beaten by them. But after all of them he said sorry because he couldn't protect me as he promised.

Wang Yibo! What are you made of?

The day I woke up from coma, I didn't see him. So I thought he really gave up on me. I didn't know he thought i was dead. I mean I thought I was dead too. They said my heartbeat stopped. And Yibo ran and never looked back. Were you scared, Yibo? I'm so sorry I scared you!

But as the saying goes, life goes on. And it did. For all of us.

Yibo found Fanxing because he ran away after all. And Fanxing found a family. We're gonna raise him together and he's gonna grow up to be a really awesome young man.

After I woke up things went really haphazardly. I moved to Canada with mom because I was very scared about what happened and it gave me nightmares and I had to talk to a psychologist. It took almost two years to get better. And when i came back to Canada I saw him waiting there for me. Never once did he stopped waiting for me. Never once did he lose hope! So I did what I had to do.

I confessed to him. Because if the incident that happened to me taught me anything, it's to never wait to talk about how we feel. Because we don't know when it's too late.

And look at us now. Living together in Yibo's house near his office. Raising a kid together. And I feel complete! I'm a neurosurgeon in dad's hospital. Probably will take over the hospital in a few years. Yibo is the director of his events company. And we both love each other so much. It took me years to realise but now that I did, I'm not gonna give up.

I was in a trance which was broken by Fanxing tugging on my shirt. Surprisingly even so young, Fanxing knows it's hard for me to be touched by anyone. And he never does that without me initiating it. Even at the age of six he's so mature.

I'm trying really hard get over the difficulties and be there for both Yibo and Fanxing. It's hard, but it's not impossible. That's what mom said.

When we reached home after buying the present for Yibo it was around 5 in the afternoon. And we decided to bake a cake for Yibo. Fanxing helps me beat the batter and finally in went into the oven. In the meantime both papa and son sat down with a bag of chips.

If there's one thing Fanxing got from me, it's this chips addiction I'd say. We both love chips to the core. But Yibo doesn't let us eat much. So now that he isn't here, let's celebrate.

45 minutes later the oven signal went off indicating that the cake was ready. And after 10 more minutes it was time for Yibo to get back home.

I woke Fanxing up from his nap and got him ready into some casual pants and a shirt with a pooh hoodie. He looks just as handsome as his dada. And I got into some jeans and a monochrome hoodie.

When we both were ready the bell rang and I was ecstatic thinking Yibo was back from work. But when I opened the door i saw A-Chang and Qingyang. After them came Haikuan ge and Mingyuan jie. Haoxuan and Jiyang following shortly after. Jackson and his boyfriend Jingyu came too. One by one my dad and Ayi, uncle Wang and Wang Ayi, all came to our apartment, except Yibo.

I was a bit upset thinking did Yibo forget our plan! But my phone lights up with a message.

Zhan ge. Come to the rooftop real quick?

I went to the rooftop but there was no one. I got worried. What is going on? Then came a voice from behind me.

"Don't turn around. I have a gun with me. Now take me to your apartment!"

If I could see it, my eyes were as big as a ping-pong ball. What's gonna happen? Well there are many people in the apartment. It will be alright. So I took them to our apartment.

In the apartment it was pitch dark. Where is Fanxing? Omg! Please don't let anything happen to him! I was worrying in my mind when a voice filled the dark apartment.

"Xiao Zhan. Do you know what's the best thing that happened to me? It's you!"

Wait! Yibo? What is happening? The ceiling light of the living room turned on giving a beautiful glow to the room and making Yibo visible in the middle of the living room with Fanxing standing with him in a complete different dress than he was wearing. Okay!

"I don't know how much time it'll take you to trust me again and not get scared of my touches, but I'll wait. I'll wait just like I did all these years. Just you staying by my side is enough."

And it teared me up.

"Sean Xiao Zhan. I want you to be a part of my life. Right now I'm not your boss's son. I'm Yibo. Just Yibo. You don't have to worry about anything anymore. I'll always be there for you, not giving up. I'll protect you like I promised."

Right now even he is crying. He get down on his knees and takes off the jacket Fanxing is wearing and reveals some words on his t-shirt. 'Be my dad?' I smile!

"Will you, Sean Xiao Zhan, do me the honour and be Fanxing's other dad and make us the most happy two people in this world?"

Fanxing was taken from him by Jackson while he comes closer to me.

"Zhan ge, marry me?" I didn't see when he got out a ring and I don't know where he get it out from, but he has it in his hand. I smile with tears still in my eyes. I can't explain how happy I am. I'm the happiest man alive.

Fanxing gets down from Jackson's hold and runs to us. "Appa! Uri Appa kyeorhon haechullae?" Now, that's Jackson effect! I smile at him and nod!

I look at Yibo and smile too. I extend my hand for him to put the ring on my finger. "You're my biker with benefits! Of course I'd marry you!"
