There weren’t tall buildings in the way, so the beautiful green field stood out quite well. Using Binhai University as alandmark, he should be able to see his pet store; however, the visibility was too low today.

“I brought an umbrella.” Snowy unzipped her backpack and pulled out a small purple folding umbrella. It was so small that only one person could fit under it. If two people got under that umbrella, each would get half of their body wet.

“Come on. You take it,” she said as she handed over the umbrella.

“How about you?” Zhang Zian asked.

“My wind-breaker is water resistant. I will be fine wearing it with my hood on.” She smiled and put up two fingers in a V-shape. “I am not in a hurry anyways. I can wait here for a bit longer if I have to.”

“You’d better not,” the female owner interrupted. “The rain isn’t bad. If you use an umbrella, it is difficult to balance. The stone steps are very slippery in the rain; you might slip on your way down. I don’t think the rain will last long. Why don’t you wait? Are you in a hurry, sir?”

Zhang Zian hesitated. It was risky to leave in the rain, but no one could tell if the rain would stop soon or if it would get worse.

Snowy replied quickly, “He is the manager in a pet store. I guess he is in a rush to go back to the store and feed the pets.”

Anxin stared at Zhang Zian and thought, this guy is lucky to have such a nice girl to speak for him.
