So it goes like that

Are you serious?
Is this a joke?
Are you fucking kidding me? I don't know if I'm crazy or just straight-up dumbfounded. Not only me but the whole fucking class was, and Tungsten was just crying his ass out at the corner laughing. Thinking back about it,
"What the hell is happening."
Sky was excellent beyond what I imagined. She was learning at a fast pace and was curious about a lot of things. Specially in the field of mathematics, it was my first time witnessing an actual mental calculation and complex equation being solved like a flash.
Is she a genius? Everyone seems to think the same thing as they praised her until... up until...
"Is that true? So God is like a religion? Or was that a person?"
"... He's a... diety."
"So an object?"
"A devine being!"
"Devine?"
"Why am I teaching religion instead of social science, I'm not a priest!"
Tungsten burst out laughing, well more like the whole class as Mrs. Sarah struggled to answer questions after questions.
"I didn't mean it to be like this." I mumbled.
Sky was so shy and literally mute as fuck the whole time since I met her, so I urge her and kinda jokingly said that it was required to ask the instructor a question everytime we have one.
"I didn't think she'd take it seriously."
I complained to the numbered right after the bell for lunch break rang.
"Fuck I wish I had seen that."
Canary said looking at Sky as he pinched the girls soft looking cheek. It looks so soft as it reddened after a while. She looks like a tomato.
"Why's Sten like that?" Enzo inquired as he sat beside Sky after getting some food.
Tungsten was leaning in the table with his arms covering his head. The cafeteria was crowded enough that I knew he'd hate the thought of just hearing about the place but to my surprise he actually came. Not to mention the stares that we're getting because of the new student.
"He was probably tired from too much laughing."
"Well what a rude bastard."
"No Canary, it was... my fault."
The oh so angelic little lady pitch in. It was my first time, apart from me, to see someone defend my rude ass bitch of a friend infront of Canary.
Anyways, the more time I am with Sky the more I get to see what condition she might have. It was not new to me to see someone from the numbered without any... how do I put this? Special circumstances perhaps?
Almost all of the numbered I met have something off or special in them that you can't just put a finger in. And in Sky's case, I think it was that she's so...
Innocent?
No, it's not just Innocence.
Dumb... yeah! She was kind of dumb.
"No, You just didn't know."
Enzo reasoned around it. Well yes, she just didn't know.
"How about talking about something else? Can you tell me what you did in the classroom apart from social studies, hmm Sky?"
I'm seeing a different Enzo, somehow he was somewhat mature in some extent. It was fascinating to see someone so over aggressive and sassy looking so gentle as Vaughn all of a sudden.
"You're over analysing things again."
My so called best friend mumbled as he looked at me from his arms slightly covering his face.
"Well, that I do but She really is..."
"Dumb."
I laugh at his words. I saw Sky blushing when she realized we were talking about her. What a unique beauty.
I was shocked to know she's Elijah's missing Sister. The numbered explained to us how they found her after years of searching and how she was just adopted and now living to their establishment. It was not new to us that Elijah has a sister nor the fact that this brothers are not tied by blood at all. Elijah was the president the time me and Sten first entered the school as a freshman. The rumours about the numbered are like fire spreading far and wide throughout the school. At first it irked me to talk about them like it's some kind of entertainment, they're the topic of every scandalous deed and at the same time the main characters of every praises. They are just unique... and hot, especially Vaughn.
"Sorry... I didn't mean to offend the teacher. I'm just... just curious." I saw how Sky's eyes seemed so dejected at the time.
"No, Hon. Its okay. I understand. Haha in fact it was adorable."
I never saw Vaughn publicly display affection like that. Neither that soft doting smile or the gentle alluring voice he was giving Sky was the same with his usual one. What is it? What was new? I felt a throb in my heart as I watch him kissing Sky in the forehead.
What is it?
"Well that's quite unfair... let me kiss sweet Sky too~" Enzo joyfully whines.
I watched the silly show that they are doing in the cafeteria. We are sitting quite secluded from the buzzling area but having the numbered here, the school body president, the two champions in music competition and of course the new student that is the talk of the town was quite... an overkill for a quiet lunch break I was hoping for.
"Was that the girl you're talking about?"
"She's really pretty."
"Well a new misfit, I'm guessing"
"She's hot, dude."
"Look at the eyes..."
"I heard that she's Mr. Martin's niece."
"The school director? So is she their sister?"
"Elijah's, I heard. No wonder. So she also suffer from Albinism?"
"Obviously, look at the hair. No wonder she's pretty. Say can I get Elijah if I..."
"Yeah we can ask her..."
Murmurs of different kind can be heard all around us but then...
"Fuck. Stop the PDA you psychos!"
"Shut up, Sten! And Sky is off limit!"
"As if I care you bastard!"
This fuckers seems to not care at all. I sighed heavily as I realized my worries are pointless. They are used to being talk about anyway, whether it was done in good or bad intentions, no one in this group cared, well except for me, I guess.
"Augustus, you better watch your leach of a friend if you wanted to live."
Canary threateningly said as they walk pass me to bid Sky goodbye after they walked her all the way to our room. Well not tha I'm complaining since I can converse with Vaughn longer as well. Win win, really.
"Thanks for everything, Ezekiel."
In rare occasions like this, I can see Vaughn look at me affectionately as well. Whether it was my own imagination or he really did didn't matter to me. As long as I can somewhat be of help and hear his voice thanking me, I'm already satisfied, really.
"No, worries. Then I guess I'll see you again later? You have to pick her up too, I assume." I said smiling as I imagine seeing him again later.
"Yeah, I'll pick her up before club activities."
"Heh... I can show her around if you don't mind." I said smirking this time.
"Don't tell me.."
"No. I'm just kidding. I have my hands full with paperworks." I said as I saw Vaughn's silent grimace. It really is funny to see his domineering side sometimes. It gives me chill.
"Well then, I guess I'm glad."
Vaughn smiled at me again. If only you knew Vaughn. It's not Sky's beauty that I'm attracted to. It's not even her that I like. If only you knew...
"Hmm yeah... see you later." I heard Sky silently bidding her brothers goodbye.
She really is innocent and cute, no doubt. To the point that I'm afraid some malicious intent might approach her along the way. What I heard in the cafeteria is not something to scoff of. I guess I need to watch her carefully.
"Ezekiel."
I was shocked as Sky spoke to me first after we took our seat at the front of the lecture hall.
She was seating between me and Tungsten just so we can at least lessen the brave souls who dared talk to her aggressively or those without good intentions.
"You really are kind." She said shyly before I saw a different side of her I didn't expect. She looked at me so seriously that I forgot who I'm looking to.
"You like Vaughn, right?"
It was straightforward, and quite unexpected coming from her. Shit what now?
What do I do?
Was it too obvious? How did she know? What do I do really...
"Damn, busted." I heard Tungsten whistle.
Well should I go for it? It's Sky anyway... the oh so lovely Sky.
"Well... I..."
