“Is that so?” the middle-aged man asked. His eyes evidently did not believe in Jian Yilnig’s words. “Well, it just so happens that I know Grandpa Li’s son. His son told me what happened. If you’re scared of competing against Dr. Fei, that’s totally fine. However, you shouldn’t say those things to Grandpa Li. It’s a very disrespectful thing to do.”

“This has nothing to do with you,” Jian Yiling replied indifferently.

As he said this, the middle-aged man glanced at Li Zhuojia who was standing beside Jian Yiling: “What do you think Vice-Dean? Have you heard about this incident that happened amongst your doctors in the Beijing branch?”

“I haven’t heard about it,” Li Zhuojia answered. “However, it’s not important.”

“Vice-Dean, you essentially take care of Lahaisen Hospital’s entirety. If you don’t treat your subordinates fairly and impartially, no one will be able to trust Lahaisen Hospital,” the middle-aged man said in a heavy tone. It seemed as though he was looking out for Lahaisen Hospital’s interests.

However, Li Zhuojia replied bluntly: “Lahaisen Hospital never claimed to be a fair and impartial place. In addition, we don’t care about what everyone else thinks of us.”

Lahaisen Hospital always had the attitude of come and go as you please.

Whether it was a doctor or a patient, if you wanted to come, then you could come. However, if you didn’t want to be here, no one would force you to stay.
