Chapter 498 - Qin Yufan Argues with Her Father

However, Qin Hongrui was a patient that their dean had accepted. As a result, they wouldn’t change their mind on this matter. It didn’t matter what Qin Hongzhi said nor what conditions he offered them.

Li Zhuojia’s response made things difficult for Qin Hongzhi’s men. They had no choice but to reveal their master’s identity.

Li Zhuojia smiled slightly before he replied: “My apologies. However, I still have other arrangements after this. If Chairman Qin has something important to say to me, then please make an appointment with me at a later date.”

Qin Hongzhi’s men hadn’t expected Li Zhuojia to be such a difficult and stubborn person to deal with.

When they reported the situation, Qin Yufan was also in Qin Hongzhi’s office.

Upon hearing the report, Qin Yufan’s face was filled with happiness.

She had been desperately trying to get into contact with people from Lahaisen Hospital. She wanted them to take on her uncle’s case. To her pleasant surprise, they had already done so.

He waved his hand to dismiss his men before he said to his daughter: “Why are you happy? Do you know how much harm it will bring to our family if the shares that your uncle owns fall into the hands of Lahaisen Hospital?”

“Well, there is a potential that it brings harm to our family and the Qin Group. However, my uncle’s life is also very important. When it’s a matter of life and death, we shouldn’t think so much about it. We should try and save him first. Then, we can think about how to make more money.”

Qin Yufan laughed coldly when she heard this: “Oh? You don’t want him to support me? Then, do you want him to support that illegitimate child of yours? Or do you want my uncle to die? He’s your cousin! You have the same grandfather!”

Qin Hongzhi immediately got up and walked over to Qin Yufan. He stopped in front of her and slapped her across the face.

Qin Yufan raised her hand to cover the half of her face that had been slapped. She didn’t cry. Rather, she started to laugh:

“My manners? You bring an illegitimate child into the family and you’re telling me that I need to have manners? In your eyes, the only one who has manners is probably your illegitimate child! And are you keeping his mother in a villa as well? Do you plan to visit her every week?!”

“You!” Qin Hongzhi shouted as he raised his hand again. It seemed as though he was planning to hit his daughter again.

“Do it!” Qin Yufan yelled back. She brought her face closer to his hand.

Qin Hongzhi’s hand froze in mid-air.

His daughter’s attitude had stung him.

When he saw that his daughter’s face was red, Qin Hongzhi began to regret his actions.

Just now, he was in a fit of anger.

His cousin’s matter had not been resolved and his daughter was unable to understand him. In fact, she completely refused to listen to him.
