Yu Zi’s mouth was wide open as she forgot what she wanted to say. Yan Huaian had a warm and soft smile on his face. “You’ve been on the phone for quite some time. I don’t know when you’ll be done so I decided to start cooking. I hope you don’t mind.”

Yu Zi was still holding the phone to her ear. She shook her head. “N-No.”

“I can’t find the soy sauce,” Yan Huaian said, his voice gentle and his expression affectionate.

Yu Zi lifted her finger toward the kitchen and said, “It’s in the cabinet next to the range hood.”

Yan Huaian nodded. “Alright.”

As she was about to leave the balcony, she heard a roar from the other end of the phone. “Yu Zi, you have a man in your house? Who is he?”

Since Yue Jingchen was very emotional, when he heard a man’s voice on the phone, he went into shock.

He thought it was Yu Han at first, but since it was not clear, he could not make out the voice of the person properly.
