Where the eternity begins..

The morning seemed more brighter and joyful today as Aradhya got ready for her office.

The last night's events still fresh in her mind as the smile tugged on her lips since she woke up.

Going to kitchen she was met witha surprising sight, Karan—and he was cooking food.

"How did this miracle happen?"Aradhya exclaimed,sarcasm dripping from her voice as she moved towards him to check what he was cooking.

Karan was startled by the sudden voice but calmed down knowing who it was.

"Can I not cook for you?"he asked raising a brow at her and a mischievous smile crept on his lips.

"You can...but this seems so suspicious"she said, narrowing her eyes at him.

He just shrugged off and focused back on his cooking.

"Did you fall down from bed in the morning or what?"she questioned, chuckling to herself.

"I heard that my bestie is taken so thought to cook something for us"Karan said,his voice light and teasing.

Aradhya's eyes widened at the revelation"how did you know?"

"You turned up late,i was awake and saw the ring on your finger"he explained.

She hummed in understanding but then glared at him"why were you awake so late?"

"I was just waiting for you to return safe"he answered and a small smile tugged at her lips.

"You don't trust Reyansh?"she asked teasingly.

"I do but noone when it comes to you"he replied sincerely.

"Aww my pookie"Aradhya hugged him from behind and pinched his cheeks.

"Stop that,I am not a kid"Karan whined.

"Oh yeah you are a toddler"she said, rolling her eyes playfully but the smile still on her face.

"Acha go and sit,I am bringing the breakfast"he said pushing her out of the kitchen.

The knock on the door disturbed their peaceful breakfast.

Aradhya was about to stand up but Karan gestured her to keep seating and he stood up to go and open the door.

Karan opened the door to find the man he was expecting right at the moment.

"Had Aradhya taken breakfast?"Reyansh questioned.

"No hi,no hello sidha Topic ke"Karan muttered.

(No hi,no hello direct at topic)

"She is eating right now"Karan replied moving aside, letting Reyansh come inside.

Aradhya smiled when she saw Reyansh,her mouth stuffed with food.

Reyansh with a soft smile approached her and kissed her forehead"good morning meri jaan"

Aradhya gulped down the food and wished him back.

"Mere samne aise lovey dovey mat bano"Karan said slightly annoyed by the fact that he is still single.

(Don't be so lovey dovey infront of me)

Aradhya laughed seeing him being annoyed.

"Why are you here early in the morning?"asked Aradhya.

"I will drop you at your office while going"Reyansh replied.

'so i can get to spend more time with you'The words couldn't roll down his tongue.

She smiled and exclaimed"wait for me 10 minutes then"

"Take your time"

In the evening, Reyansh picked up aradhya from her office,it was raining quite heavily.

As the rain poured down, the rhythmic sound of droplets hitting the car roof created a cozy ambiance inside. Aradhya and Reyansh sat in the front seats, the world outside blurred by the downpour. The soft glow of the dashboard lights illuminated their faces, casting a warm hue in the dimly lit car.

Reyansh glanced at Aradhya, his eyes reflecting a mix of admiration and affection. “You know,” he began, his voice gentle, “there’s something magical about the rain.”

Aradhya turned to him, a soft smile playing on her lips. “It feels like we’re in our own little world,” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Reyansh reached out, his fingers lightly brushing against hers. The touch sent a shiver down her spine, and she felt her heart race. “I’m glad we’re here together,” he said, his eyes locking onto hers.

The air between them seemed to thicken with unspoken emotions. Aradhya’s breath hitched as Reyansh leaned closer, his gaze never wavering. She could feel the warmth of his breath on her skin, and her heart pounded in her chest.

Without any word, Reyansh closed the distance between them, his lips capturing hers in a tender, passionate kiss. The world outside faded away, leaving only the two of them, lost in their own moment of love and connection.

As the kiss deepened, the rain outside intensified, creating a symphony of nature that seemed to celebrate their newfound love. Aradhya and Reyansh finally pulled away, their foreheads resting against each other as they caught their breath.

Reyansh’s hand gently caressed Aradhya’s cheek, his thumb tracing small circles."I wish u could stop time and live this moment forever"

Aradhya smiled softly, holding his another hand gently.

"Jaan let's get married"Reyansh whispered,he holds her firmly and looked at her with hopeful eyes.

"Yes...but we should first tell Maa and Aryan"she said suddenly missing both of them.

"We will call them after we get back home and tell them,how is it?"Reyansh suggested.

Aradhya hesitated"but what if they don't want to talk to me?"

"Why wouldn't they want to talk to you?they would be so Happy to talk to you,they miss you so much"Reyansh stated.

"I miss them too"she whispered,loud enough for him to hear.

"We should head back"he said and she nodded.

As Reyansh started the car and began to drive, the rain began to lighten, leaving a fresh, earthy scent in the air. They drove in companionable silence, the warmth of their shared moment lingering between them.

"So you are finally telling them!"Karan squealed with joy.

They both nodded and smiled as karan seemed more excited than them.

Reyansh video calls Aryan waiting for him to answer.

As the phone rang, Aradhya’s anxiety grew. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself.

"Hi bhaiya"Aryan's calm and deep voice came through the speaker.

A strange feeling rushed through her veins hearing the familiar voice after many years.

In five years his voice has turned more calmer and the cheerfulness in his voice is no more.

"Hey Aryan"Reyansh replied, glancing at Aradhya—only Reyansh was visible on the screen.

"Hey baby!"Karan exclaimed jumping in front of the screen.

Dhruv and aradhya stifled a laugh.

"Don't call me that Karan,"Aryan said calmly but his face etched with fake frustration just to give Karan the satisfaction that he has easily got under his skin.

Reyansh pushed Karan out of the frame"where is maa?"

"She is in her room,let me get there"Aryan said as he stood up from his chair and left from his room.

"Ma it's Reyansh bhaiya"Aryan said and moved the screen in front of Amravati.

"Mera bacha,how are you?"asked Amravati.

(My kid,how are you?)

"I am fine maa"Reyansh once again glanced at Aradhya"actually I wanted to tell you both that I and Aradhya are together now"

There was a brief silence on the other end,and Aradhya held her breath.

Then, Amravati's voice came back, filled with happiness"I am so happy...,but where is Aradhya?is she not with you right now?"

Reyansh gestured Aradhya to come near him,she followed and sat beside him.

"Mera bacha,how have you been?"Amravati asked,her voice filled with warmth and happiness.

Tears of relief and joy welled up in aradhya's eyes"I am good maa,how are you and Aryan?"

"We are good too"se replied with warm smile"just missing you both,when are you coming back?"

Reyansh and Aradhya looked at each other before Reyansh looked back at Her and said"maa we-

Aradhya cuts him off in between and says"we will be back soon"

"That's good to know"She said and smiled.

"Can I talk to Aryan?"Aradhya hesitated.

Aryan appeared on the screen as Amravati passed the phone to him.

"Bhabhi"he whispered.

She smiled softly and said"you look so different as I look at you now"

"So much changed after these years bhabhi,come back soon"

She nodded and soon the call ended.

Reyansh pulled her into a warm embrace"Thank you so much for everything"

"Not again"Karan muttered under his breath but was audible to everyone.

Aradhya giggled at his words,"go to your Ishaant"

"Tell me when you are ready,we will go back to India together"Karan said and winked at her.

Aradhya looked back at Reyansh,and whispered"Ansh when are we going back?"

"Whenever my lady wishes"he answered placing a tender kiss on her cheek.

"But be ready for a grand wedding after we get there"Karan exclaimed."i can't wait to see my bestfriend getting married,it will be so much fun"

"Can I request something?"she asked fidgeting her fingers.

"You just need to command,jaan"Reyansh spoke, smiling at her.

"Can we just have a small wedding?"Aradhya hesitated.

"But you will be the wife of king of Rajasthan, how's that supposed to be small?"Karan pondered over it and put forth his question.

"Everything will be done as she wishes.People will be informed about it but not invited"Reyansh stated.

"You know what you are saying?"Dhruv said calmly.

"Don't worry,it will be handled well.Our previous marriage wasn't exposed—because I didn't take it s-seriously.I and Aradhya will make a official meet,after we are married"Reyansh explained in a low voice.

"Thank you"Aradhya mumbled.

Reyansh shook his head with a smile and held her hand gently.

"Bhai i think you shouldn't go back"Karan said to dhruv.

"Why?"

"As you get there,i think ma papa will get you married directly, together with them"Karan mocked.

"Shut up Karan"Dhruv said annoyed.

"Why is everyone shutting me up today?I don't want to talk to you all"Karan said huffing,his lips turned into a pout.

Aradhya stood up from her seat and went to Karan"my pookie they are all so bad, let's go we will go and cook dinner together and they aren't getting anything"

Aradhya said giving a sharp look to Reyansh and dhruv.

"Yesssssss, let's go"Karan exclaimed holding her hand and taking her to kitchen with him.

"Maine kya Kiya?"Reyansh whined.

(What did I do?)

"Ye sab Teri vajah se hai"Reyansh glared at dhruv.

(It's all because of you)

"So?"dhruv raised his brow,unbothered.

"Bukha marenge ab hum kutte"Reyansh exclaimed annoyed by his non chalant behaviour.

(We will die starved,you dog)

Suddenly, realisation hit him,

Did she just say she ain't cooking for both of them?

"Mazak kar rahi thi shayad"Dhruv laughed nervously.

(She might be joking)

"She was damn serious"Reyansh snapped.

"We are doomed"dhruv inhaled deeply.

"It's all because you"Reyansh blamed him.

"What did I do? it's because of Karan"Dhruv blamed Karan.

"Yes its because of that Karan"Reyansh agreed.

"Jab dekho meri biwi ke sath chipka rah ta hai"Reyansh uttered.

(He is always sticking with my wife)

"Biwi nahi hai vo Teri"Dhruv reminded him.

(She isn't your wife)

"Ho jayegi"Reyansh hissed.

(Will be soon)

"Tere se toh bolna hi bekar hai"Dhruv Confessed.

(It's not worth it talking to you)

"Feelings are Mutual"Reyansh assured him.

Meanwhile,In the kitchen Aradhya and karan laughed to themselves hearing their fight.

"They are arguing like kids"Aradhya said controlling her laugh.

"And they call me toddler,look at themselves—look at those 33 years old men fighting with each other and also blaming me"Karan complained.
