Secret charm...

The time passed and they all stood on the land of their birthplace-Rajasthan,India.

"Back here after 5 years,I am so excited to meet mom and dad"Exclaimed Karan with happiness.

Aradhya's heart ached as she couldn't say the same.

"I am also excited to meet uncle and aunt"she mumbled, ignoring the pain that stirred inside her heart.

"Yes mumma papa will be so happy to meet you in real"Karan said, taking her into a hug.

"So where are we heading first?"Dhruv asked.

"Rajput mansion"Reyansh replied holding Aradhya's hand.

Karan and dhruv nodded and they all settled down in the respective cars—reyansh and aradhya in same car,and dhruv and Karan in the same.

The car moved through the similar places, Aradhya looked out of the window seeing those places after 5 years but none of them held memories for her.

It has changed so much in those 5 years that she barely recognise it anymore.

She sighed deeply and placed her head on Reyansh's shoulder.

"What happened jaan?"he asks softly noticing something wrong.

"This place has changed so much yet it never had space for me"She murmered.

"It doesn't matter,you own this place and it's just not about space you will rule over the heart of these people"he stated.

"Will i?I couldn't even take up space in the heart's of my parents,do you think these people will love me?"she questioned.

"They will"He uttered"and if not I will make sure they does"

She didn't say anything and just closed her eyes feeling his warmth calm her.

The main gate opened and the car entered inside the mansion.

Reyansh opened the door for her and held her hand as she moved out of the car.

She looked at the mansion in front of her eyes"it looks so different"

"Yes, I did not want you to remember those horrific memories this mansion gave"He replied, drowing in guilt.

"There is no love without suffering—we suffered enough,stop being in guilt ansh"she whispered, giving a squeeze to his hand.

He smiled and nodded,even though he knows he will never get over this guilt.

Amravati heard of the news that Reyansh and Aradhya are back.

They both stood in front of the door,behind them dhruv and Karan—Amravti did their aarti and welcomed them in with a warmly hug.

As Amravati embraced Aradhya they both couldn't help but tear up.

"I missed you maa"Aradhya whispered hugging her close, feeling the motherly warmth after years.

"I missed you too Mera bacha"Amravati wiped her tears, shaking her head to not cry anymore.

Aradhya looked at the side to see Aryan hugging Reyansh and then he looked at her.

He looked so different in those five years—

the twinkle in his eyes which reflected his playfulness were gone.he looked more mature and calm.

For a moment she couldn't believe this was the same Aryan who tailed behind her in the kitchen pleading her to cook his favourite dishes.

Yet he still had his boyish charm,his eyes still hold love and respect for her.

"Bhabhi"he whispered and engulfed her into a hug." I missed you so much"

"I missed you too Aryan"She whispered back hugging him back.

"Kunwar sa"A servant called out Aryan,he broke the hug and looked at him.

"Hukum sa and Rani sa's room is ready"The servant informed and left from there after bowing.

"My Aryan baby!"Karan exclaimed jumping on Aryan.

Aryan stumbled but held him and also balanced himself.

"Tu kabhi nahi sudhrega"Aryan said annoyingly and pushed him away.

Despite the annoyance,a small smile crept on his lips as the life still couldn't take away his bubbly nature.

"Sweetheart dekho na"He whined and hugged Amravti.

(Sweetheart see)

"Mere bete ko pareshan mat kiya karo tum sab,ek toh itni pyaar se tujhe bola aur hug kar raha tha aur tu usko dhakaa de raha hai"Amravati scolded Aryan,patting Karan's cheeks.

(Don't trouble my kid,first of all he is talking sweetly to you and hugged you and you pushed him away)

Karan smirked knowing he is still her favourite one.

"I love you my sweetheart"he said kissing her on cheeks.

"Alright alright,you all must be tired go and get freshen up, Aryan—

"Maa they aren't new,they know the way to rooms"Aryan said before she could ask him to show them way.

She laughed and nodded.

Aradhya entered inside the room with Reyansh behind her.

Aradhya's eyes wide open as she couldn't believe it was the same room.

"Do you like it jaan?"Reyansh asked hugging her from behind.

"I love it, it's so beautiful"she exclaimed"But why white?"

"Someone wrote it their diary that they love white colour"he answered, kissing her earlobe.

"Do you still have it?"she asked hesitatingly.

"Yes I do, Everything that belonged to you was no less than a treasure for me"he confessed.

She smiled and asked"where is it?"

"In that drawer"he pointed at one drawer.

She opened the drawer but something else caught her eyes before her diary could.

These were papers—much more like letters.

She took them out and asked"what are those?"

He hesitated"these are nothing"

He tried taking them from her hand but she hid them behind her back.

"Statue"she exclaimed.

"What?"he asked surprised.

"Don't move from your place"she ordered and he sighed helplessly.

She sat down on the bed and opened one of the letters,it was Reyansh writing it to her.

The date—it was from after 2 days she left.

Dear Aradhya,

As I sit here, pen in hand, the weight of my guilt presses down on me. The moment you walked out of my life, everything changed. The silence is overwhelming, and the emptiness you left behind is a constant reminder of my mistakes.

The paper was fragile, the ink slightly smudged, and there were faint tear droplets scattered across the page.

The tear stains on the letter mirrored the tears that now welled up in her eyes.

"Jaan NO, don't cry please—not for someone who caused you pain"He pleaded, still not moving from his place even though his heart ached to hold her into his arms and wish to be not the reason of her tears ever.

She smiled through her tears and blinked them back.

She opens another letter to see it even had more tear stains than the previous one.

I replay our last moments together over and over in my mind, wishing I could take back every hurtful word and action. The regret is overwhelming, and I can’t escape the pain of knowing how deeply I hurt you. I wish I could turn back time and make things right.

The silence in our room is a constant reminder of the void you left behind, and I am consumed by the guilt of what I did to you.

The emptiness is unbearable, and I find myself longing for your presence more than ever.

I hope that one day, you might find it in your heart to forgive me. Though i know the sins I did are unforgivable.

As she finished reading, a single tear rolled down her cheek.

She did not stop yet and opened another letter.

As I close my eyes I see your fearful face—you were scared of me,the monster I was.

Your blank eyes haunts me—i am the reason of your pain,I am the one who snatched away all of your emotions.

The nights are sleepless—empty walls of the room haunts me.

He chuckled and nodded.
