Love starved

A drop of ink may

Make a million think.

"Someone's missing you"dhruv said with a smirk entering inside Reyansh's cabin.

Reyansh looked at him confused,he just talked with Aradhya on call,so who else is missing him?

"Who?"He questioned, confused.

"Motherfucker"someone shouted barging inside the cabin, followed by another man.

Reyansh stood up from his seat"Harsh...Abhay"

"Yes Us you bastard king"Harsh cursed, while abhay and dhruv stood enjoying the drama.

"Long time no see dude"Reyansh said non chalantly sitting down on his seat.

"Saale kutte tune bataya bhi nahi tu shadi kar raha hai"Harsh hissed, grabbing his collar.

(Dog you didn't even tell us that you are getting married)

"Now you know so get off"Reyansh said pushing him away lightly.

Reyansh stood up from his seat and hugged him, which calmed him down.

Reyansh gestured dhruv and abhay, and they four shared a hug.

Then they all settled down to have a talk after so long.

"So you finally decided to get married huh! Who is that lucky woman?"harsh asked, teasing him.

"I am the one who is lucky"

"Ohooo"They all hooted together.

As Reyansh stepped into the room, a wave of warmth and comfort washed over him. Aradhya, with her characteristic boundless energy, immediately closed the distance between them.

Her arms, ever so soft and enveloping, wrapped around him in a tight embrace. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as Reyansh found himself lost in the familiarity and safety of her hug.

It felt as if every worry, every concern, melted away in that brief, yet infinite moment. Their silent connection spoke volumes, a testament to their unspoken understanding and deep bond.

She broke the hug and looked at him with her bright smile.

"We are going to shopping tomorrow"she informed him cheerfully.

"For sure but why is my Jaan so happy?"he asked raising a brow but couldn't hide the smile forming on his lips seeing her being happy.

"Can't I be?"she asked looking at him mischievously.

"Of course you can be and you should be but this servant of yours just wanted to know the reason"He said bowing dramatically.

Her laughter echoed in the room and his heartbeat raised hearing the melody of hers.

"I am just so happy after meeting maa and Aryan.we talked a lot except that Aryan has become more quiet. Also we are getting married how can I not be happy?"She said it all in one go,being excited.

"Btw I want to tell you something"Reyansh said making her look at him curiously.

"My two friends want to meet you,I met them after long time and they did not let me work whole day, teasing me entire time"Reyansh said half mockingly, half seriously.

She giggled hearing him"so when are we meeting those friends of yours?"

"Whenever you wish"He exclaimed

"Alright, how about after shopping tomorrow?"she suggested.

"Great, shall do it as early as possible or they will eat my mind"He answered.

In the soft, golden light of the early morning, Reyansh slowly opened his eyes to a sight that filled his heart with pure contentment.

Beside him, Aradhya lay peacefully, her serene face reflecting the tranquility of deep sleep.

Her delicate features, softened by the morning glow, made her look like an angel. Clinging to him like a child seeking comfort, she nestled close, her gentle breaths syncing with his own.

For Reyansh, this simple, beautiful moment was a perfect reminder of the life they are building and the endless mornings yet to come.

Reyansh watched Aradhya for a few more moments, her peaceful expression a stark contrast to the chaos of the outside world.

He wished he could freeze this moment forever, just to stay here with her in the quiet serenity of the early morning. But the reminder of the day tugged at him, a reminder that time could not stand still.

Gently, he began to stir, careful not to startle her. Yet, as he moved, Aradhya’s grip on him tightened, a subconscious plea to stay.

His heart ached at the thought of waking her, of pulling her away from her dreams. "Just a little longer,"he whispered to himself, savoring the warmth of her embrace.

But then he remembered they need to get ready, and with a soft, regretful smile, he gently brushed a strand of hair from her face. "Aradhya," he murmured softly, his voice barely more than a breath. "It’s time to wake up."

Aradhya stirred slightly, her eyelids fluttering as she began to wake.

Reyansh continued to whisper her name gently, his hand resting lightly on her shoulder. Slowly, her eyes opened, and she blinked sleepily up at him. A soft smile spread across her face as she registered his presence.

"Good morning," she murmured, her voice thick with sleep.

"Good morning," he replied, his own smile mirroring hers.

"Get up sweetheart,we need to go to shopping, remember"he said gently pushing the strands of hair away from her face.

She sat up quickly and the sleepiness all gone.

"Oh yes, I did not sleep for long right?"

"No, don't need to hurry we have time"Reyansh answered.

She stood up from the bed and ran inside the bathroom  not before  taking her clothes from closet and passing him a toothy smile, leaving him alone trying to calm his racing heart.

Every moment with her is just magical to him.The way she smiles leaves him spellbound.

The door of bathroom opened and she stepped out drying her wet hairs with towel.

Her outfit

"How do I look?"she asked twirling.

"The prettiest woman I have ever seen"he whispered loud enough for her to hear.

She smiled hearing his genuine compliment."go and take bath until I dry my hairs"

"Ji madam"He said winking at her and went inside the bathroom.

She stood there with widened eyes,'is he the same person or did he get exchanged by someone while coming back to India?'

"He is cute though"she murmered to herself and shrugged off.

She was done with her hairs and makeup when Reyansh came out of the bathroom wearing something other than black and white.

Her eyes roamed from his head to toe and stopped at his face.

"I know I am handsome baby"He said with a smirk.

"Button up your shirt or we aren't going anywhere"she demanded.

His smirk was wiped off by a soft smile and he buttoned up his shirt.

"Allgood now?"he asked and she nods her head.

"Are you ready?"

"Just 2 minutes"she replied fixing her hairs and he sighed knowing what two minutes mean.

Until then he himself got ready and her two minutes still hadn't gone.

"Jaan?shall we go?"he asked.

"Yeah, let's go"

"Finally"he mumbled to himself.

"Did you say something?"she questioned raising a brow at him.

"No, nothing let's go"

Reyansh and Aradhya headed out to the mall for a much-anticipated shopping trip. As they arrived, Aradhya noticed something unusual: the mall, which was usually buzzing with people, was completely empty. She looked at Reyansh with a puzzled expression, but he just smiled mysteriously.

"It’s just us today,"Reyansh said softly. "I wanted to make sure we could shop in peace, without any interruptions."

Aradhya’s eyes widened in surprise and delight. "You did all this for me?" she asked, her voice filled with awe.

Reyansh nodded, his smile widening. "I wanted to give you a special day, just for us."

"How about we eat something first?you didn't eat your breakfast yet?"He suggested.

"Sure,I am hungry"she said smiling cheekily.

They made their way to a quaint little café inside the mall, its charming atmosphere enhanced by the absence of the usual crowd.

They settled into a cozy corner by the window, where sunlight streamed in, casting a warm glow over the table.

Aradhya couldn't help but smile at the thoughtful spread that awaited them: fresh fruit, flaky pastries, steaming hot coffee, and a variety of other breakfast delights.

"You had already planned it, didn't you?"she asked looking at him suspiciously.

"Maybe"he shrugged off.

As they enjoyed their meal, they talked about the colours they'd like for the clothes and all the decorations and their plans for the rest of the day.

Reyansh watched Aradhya’s face light up with every bite she took, feeling a deep sense of satisfaction knowing he'd made her happy.

The morning passed in a delicious, leisurely blur. They savored every morsel and moment, laughing and talking as if they were the only two people in the world. In that sunlit café, their hearts were as full as their plates, each moment a testament to their love and the special bond they shared.

After their delightful breakfast, Reyansh and Aradhya decided to continue their day of leisure. With their hearts content and spirits high, they walked out of the café hand in hand, ready to shop dresses for their wedding.

They explored every store, trying on clothes, picking out gifts, and laughing without a care in the world. The exclusivity of the experience made the day feel magical, a memory they would cherish forever.

For Aradhya,it was a magical moment to see the person who never even smiled,is now laughing and talking with you.

"How is it?"Reyansh showed her a dress, somehow the dress she liked.

"Yes, it's so beautiful"she said as her eyes sparkled with excitement.

Eventually, they found themselves at a beautifully set-up atrium, where a grand piano stood in the center.

Reyansh, knowing Aradhya's love for music, led her to it with a playful grin.

"Care for a little impromptu concert?" he asked, already knowing her answer.

Aradhya giggled and nodded, sitting down at the piano. Her fingers danced over the keys, filling the space with a soothing melody.

Reyansh stood by her side, his heart swelling with pride and love as he watched her lose herself in the music.

When the last note lingered in the air, they both felt a sense of fulfillment and joy. It was a day crafted with love and consideration, a testament to their unspoken understanding and deep connection.

As they left the mall, the memories of this extraordinary day etched firmly in their hearts, they knew they had experienced something truly magical together.
