Month - October

Chandni pov-

I woke up from the sleep when i heard knock on my door and sit on the bed when again heard the knock on my door and familiar voices of three people who we're calling me standing in front of my door .

I quickly checked the time on my phone and saw that it was 12 am what are they are doing at this time at night i got up from bed and searched my dupatta after finding i put it around my neck.

I was about to open the door when I heard them calling my name again.

Chandni di, Chandni open the door fast, i heard them saying my name in slow voice and when i opend the door without saying they quickly entered my room i looked at them they looked like some thief who had just escaped from jail.

What are you guys doing here it's 12 a.m. at night if anyone sees, they will be scolded us , i said in low voice and looked towards them to make them understand but they looked at me like bored expression and sat on my bed.

Ohoo Chandni di how boring you're are, adi said and other two nodded.

If someone catches we all will be get punishment ,i Said and sit beside them on my bed.

don't worry we didn't get caught soo realx Chandni , Aditi said.

but i'm scared do you guy's remember how much we had to face last time , i Said but they were not having any effect on my words.

Chandni you are so innocent if we don't have fun then who will , Ahana said and put her hand around my neck.

Well, what you all are doing here, what mischief do all three of you want to do today? I must sure you guys must be have new plane to have fun to night right ,i said and they looked at me mischievously and nodded.

Today we will watch a movie and have a party all four of us because we haven't done this for a long time, Ahana said like always other two supported her in her Idea.

All three of you know that the rules of Dadi and Dadu we should not stay awake at night, we should sleep on time and wake up early in the morning and suppose that tomorrow if we do not reach for breakfast at time, then you guy's know how much we going to be scolded , i said and again try to make them understand that there plane is not good.

we'll see that later now let's go to watch movie and Chandni you are also going with us no excuses, Aditya and Ahana you guy's go bring food items from the kitchen, me and Chandni going do setup on terrace to watch movies , Aditi said and before I say anything to her she tragged me with her and other two left from there too bring snacks.

i'm scared Ahana if anyone saw us that we are going towards terrace then what did we say to them , i said in very low voice to her and looked around to see if anyone was watching us but thank God there's no one.

Shhh stop being afraid first and even if someone saw us, we say that we were going to fetch water or anything else, Aditi said and we slowly went to terrace while hiding .

When we reached the terrace, and we breathed a sigh of relief because no one comes on the terrace and then started doing setup for the movie.

We had done almost all the setup when we saw that Ahana and Adi had also come with snacks.

Guy's we came with snacks now let's go watch the movie , Ahana said and we also sat down to watch the movie.

We were watching a movie and having fun with each other,i looked at them like always Aditya teasing us and Aditi glaring aditya and Ahana like she going to kill aditya for distributing her from watching movie.

I still remember how I came here and how did everything change after that .

Flashback -

When I woke up, I saw in my phone that it was 2 o'clock, then I slowly got up from the bed and went to the washroom for fresh up .

When I came to the room after getting fresh from the washroom, I did not understand what to do, I went back and sat on the bed and looked at the room it is a very beautiful room, in white and gray color, i have not seen such a beautiful room till date i was seeing the room when i noticed that it was the door .

It's must be balcony i guessed at first i thought I should not go there because I'm in someone else's house but i was tired sitting on bed then started going towards that door and opened it and saw that it was actually a balcony.

There was a swing and some plants in that balcony and when i looked outside, i could see the garden, not a garden a beautiful garden .

I was watching, when i heard aunty  voice and turned back,saw that there were two more people with aunty, i smiled lightly after seeing aunt and then gave a small smile to other two people who came with aunty,i don't know why but i started feeling nervous,and i bowed my head down .

Chandni, you don't need to feel nervous meet them, my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law they're here to see you , aunty said and i looked towards them and coming to the lady who looking like my grandmother i touched her feet and she put her hand my head and blessed me like my grandmother do and that makes eyes filled with tears.

I quickly wiped my tears but my bad luck I think everyone noticed it.

Chandni, come inside, I have brought lunch for you, after that you have to take medicines ,aunty said and i nodded and entered with them in the room.

They talked to me for sometime and like always beacuse of my shy introvert nature i just nodded to them and i had  my lunch and medicines while they're talking to me and after sometime they both left only me and aunt left alone in the room.

Chandni now rest I'll see you in a while

,Aunty said and started taking the tray .

aunty i think i should go from here , i Said and stopped and turned towards me sit on the bed.

Did you came here with someone or do you know anyone here , aunty asked.

No I came here alone and i don't know anyone here aunty , i said this time i didn't lied.

Then where will you go Chandni and why did you come here from your home bacche if you didn't know anyone  in this big City, aunty asked and and remember how did i came here and to protect myself from those who sold me to someone for money and that make me cry, a tear escaped from eye's.

Don't cry Chandni i here with you bacche please tell me what happened ,What are you doing here and how you are unconscious in the road yesterday night, please tell me bacche, aunty asked and I don't know why again I told her the whole truth that how everything changed after my grandmother's death and cried.

How uncle aunty sold me to someone for money and forced me to marry that person and then how did i get here with the help of Adarsh i told her everything that happened to me during those two years except my marriage and mr ajnabi.

I did not tell her about this because when the person with whom the relationship was established refused to accept it, then what is the use of telling anyone about it.

Don't cry bacchey, now no one's gonna hurt you , you're safe , aunty said and wiped my tears then hugged me.

Come on, take rest now, I will come in a while , aunty said and made me lay down on the bed.

Aunty please i must go now you guy's helped me yesterday and now i don't want to bother everyone anymore , i said and looked towards aunty.

First of all, you did not bother us at all and secondly, you are not going anywhere for now, so now rest quietly like good child , Aunty said after making me comfortable on the bed she left.

After making Chandni comfortable in the room she left the room and went towards her mother-in-law.

Suhana entered her mother-in-law's room saw that her mother-in-law is resting on her bed and after seeing elder daughter in law Neelam Singh Rathore gesture her to towards her bed and Suhana sit on the bed.

Maa i want to talk to you this is very important , Suhana said and looked towards her mother-in-law.

tell me what happened , Neelam Singh asked her.

Maa , it's releted to Chandni , she said and her mother-in-law nodded.

Tell me suhana what happened, neelam Singh Rathore again' asked her daughter in law who is hesitating to say something .

I want Chandni to stay with us in this house , Suhana said to her mother in law and don't wait for her response and told her everything about Chandni what happened to her.

Maa eyes never lie and i can see the truth in Chandni's eyes whatever she said to me is true and i know that Chandni is nice girl so please let her stay in this house and maa i promise there's going no problem if Chandni stay with us i will take care of everything ma and also i don't want her alone in such a big city so please let her be in this house , suhana said.

I don't mind Chandni staying here, Suhana when i seen her for the first time I feel a relationship with her and she is looking like a nice girl and I think no one in the house going to mind if Chandni leave here with us except one and you know who is that , Neelam Singh Rathore Said Suhana.

Maa i know everyone don't mind if Chandni leave here with us and i know those three monkeys were going very happy knowing that Chandni will be with us in this house As for Abeer, when he comes back from London, we will together explain him everything , Suhana said and thanked her mother in law to agree to for her request.

After leaving her mother-in-law's room, she tells all the people in the house that from now on Chandni stayed with us,and all were happy after knowing that and Suhana was right, those three monkeys were really happy because they were getting another partner for their group.

But Suhana don't tell anyone about chandni past except her mother in law and also told her don't tell anyone about it And the family members did not ask Suhana the reason for Chandni's stay here because there must be some reason behind this which suhana doesn't want to tell them so they don't asked her.

Chandni pov-

i can't sleep so i just looking at ceiling and lost in my thoughts But when I heard the sound of opening the door, i sat on the bed immediately after seeing aunty in the room i sat comfortably on the bed and aunty come sit beside me on the bed and take my one palm in her hands.

Chandni bacche please listen to me carefully after knowing about you, I do not want to leave you alone in such a big city You've already seen a lot in such young age but now i don't want you to face any other problem i just want to say to that stay with me in my house, aunty said and i quickly looked at her  .

Aunty aap ye kya keh rahi h, i can't stay here you already helped me twice and now i don't want to bother you anymore so i must leave , i said and got up from the bed .

Chandni kaha jauogyi ,how did you live alone in such a big city ,Ok tell me what did you do after leaving from here, aunty asked me and made me sit on the bed I didn't say anything because i don't know what i will do after leaving from here.

All I want to tell you is that you should stay here with us and complete your education then get a good job and settled here ,aunty said and i looked her with teary eyes nobody care about me that much after my grandmother's death and that make me cry.

Don't cry Chandni you are so innocent people will want to take advantage of your innocence that's why i want you to be here with me and complete your further studies and when you get settled here you can go from here i will not stop you , aunty said and wiped my tears.

Aunty meine aapse ek baat puchu, i said looking at her and aunty nodded.

I am just a stranger you're trusting me  without knowing that am i lying or telling you the truth bec_ause i kn_ow som_eone who call_ed me wrong even without kno_wing anyth_ing ab_out me, and no one does anything for me the people with whom I lived for two years somewhere they were attached to me but they never thought about me, on the contrary they sold me to someone for money then why you're doing all this for me ,i asked her while sobbing .

The one who did not trust you maybe he could not see the truth in your eyes or must be he is dumb so forget about that person But I can see the truth in your eyes, I trust you that you didn't lie to me and now i want you to stay with me in this house, aunty said while smiling.

Aunty, if anyone have any problem with me staying here , i asked her because i don't want bother any one with my presence in this house.

Before coming here, I had asked everyone in the house and no one has any problem so realx, aunty said while smiling.

Aunt one more thing Promise me that when i get a job you won't stop me from leaving , i don't know why did i  asked her this but aunty nodded and promised me that she will not stop me.

Flashback end-

I was thinking all this when Adi's voice came got me out of my trace.

Dii w_hat happen_ed what are you thinking , adi asked while he had a mouth full of popcorn .

First eat whatever you have put in your mouth then say anything idiot , Aditi said and hit him on the head.

nothing adi, and you guys watch the movie don't fight with each other, i said and they again started watching movie and making fun of each other they always fight but these three cannot live without each other.

I looked at them and smiled i have been living in this house for 5 months, everyone in this house love me like as if i am also a part of this family, this family is exactly like hum saath saath hai movie family .

They love each other, take care of each other and respect eachother, it is very difficult to see such a family in today's time.

In this house, I found two aunties who loved me like a mother, the love I longed for and both uncles treat me like their own daughter and dadu he is a bit strict but also adores me a lot and Dadi is just like my Dadi she love me lot Sometimes I am scared how will I go away from them, in these few months they have made feel like i have family a big family.

I have two elder brothers in the house ruhan Bhai and abhi Bhai and one little brother adi and forget to tell i also got two best friends Ahana and Aditi these two are only a few months younger than me, but they behave like adi.

I'm scared to walk away from these relationships these people have become my family in these few months.

Everyone in this house is very nice except one whom I haven't seen yet only heard about him .The workers of this house say that he is very strict, and he get very angry even if it is a small mistake ,he shows his loving side only to his family and his two best friend's ruhan Bhai and abhi Bhai and his other side means angry face and rude side to the whole world and also one important thing, that he don't like Strangers in his house, don't know what will happen when he come here.

what i've heard about him that he is khadoos .One day the workers were talking about him so I overheard them they used to call him by this nickname Mr khadoos Singh Rathore.

Sometimes i doubt how he can be a part of this house , everyone in this house is so lovely and how can he be Auntie's son. what are you doing Chandni why are you thinking about him.

anyway sometimes the things we heard are not true who knows what i have heard about him may be wrong and he is nice person like everyone in this house.

Just a few days and then my education will be complete and i can apply for any job I love everyone here but I can't stay here forever so I have to leave soon.

I started my studies from where I had left so in a few months my graduation will be over and i will capable for some jobs.

Me, Ahana, Aditi and Adi ,All four of us are studying in the same college But they attend classes and i do online classes because i was not comfortable beacuse on introvert nature so I told aunty that I will do online classes.

I don't know when I fell asleep thinking all this .

Morning -

I woke up from the sleep when the sunlight fell on my eyes and i opened my eyes and quickly sat up what i am doing here then looked around me and saw Adi, Aditi and Ahana all sleeping then I remember we were watching a movie last night and must be fell asleep thinking old things .

I immediately picked up mine which was lying next to me and when I saw the time I screamed .

hyy Mata Rani It's 8:26. At this time everyone must be at the dining table today we will get scolded ,i got up and went towards them to wake them up.

Ahana, Aditi wake up look what time is it , i said and push them a little bit they ingnored me.

Adi bacchey get up , i said but like his sister he also ingnored me.

I tried a lot but these three were not taking the name of getting up.

I stand up and saw that there was a bottle of water and i got the idea how to wake this sleepyheads.

I took that water bottle and put the water on the faces of all three one by one and immediately all three got up.

tsunami tsunami run run , adi screamed and looked here there is like a real tsunami and Aditi and Ahana still rubbing there eyes.

No tsunami has come, but it will definitely come if we do not reach the dining table. Do you guy's what's know what time is it ? , I asked and they looked at me at like questioning how much time it is.

it's 8:38 and everyone must be present at the dining table today we Gotta be scolded , i said and all three of them quickly got up in fear.

Everybody go to you're room quickly and get ready then we all go downstairs together now hurry up, the sooner we reach the dining table, the less we will be scolded ,i said and all three nodded.

We all quickly went to our perspective rooms and after going to the room, I quickly took the dress from wardrobe which aunty had filled with so many beautiful dresses for me despite my many refusals from me and i went to the washroom to freshen up.

After freshing up I quickly put on my dress and then applied some moisturizer on my face and wear my earrings and red bangles then quickly apply vermilion to my hairline and hide it through my hair then braided my hair's and kept them in front and  hide my mangalsutra in my kurti like always.

As soon as I came out of my room, I saw Aadi, Aditi and Ahana standing ready in front of my room i think i spent too much time for getting ready.

Let's go for and be ready for punishments , Ahana said and we all  hurried downstairs to go to the dining table.

When all four of us reached the dining table, we saw that everyone was present and they looked at us when they heard our steps.

so where were you four it's this a time to come here,dadu asked in his strict voice and other three hide behind me.

Chandni di, you talked to dadu he will not say anything to you ,adi said from behind in my ears.

No, i will not say anything i'm scared look how angry dadu looks i told you that everyone will get angry, but where do all three of you listen to me? And why are all three of you hiding behind me, come forward, I'm scared , i said in low voice to them and fake cried.

so tell me where were you guys are and all three stand in front stop hiding behind Chandni, dadu said in strict voice and they come in front stand beside me and looked at me for help.

Chandni you come sit and have your breakfast i know that the idea of ​​stay awake at night will be of these three , dadi Said and again all three looked at for for help.

Dadi w_oo mei_n ,m I thought of saying something but my eyes went to dadu and i became silent.

And we all four looked at eachother and then bend our heads down .

When we heard the sound of laughter, we looked up to see that all the family were laughing and then all four of us looked at each other in confusion.

you guys don't get confused we were just joking all four of you come and have your breakfast, suhana aunty said and all other elders nodded.

Sometimes you should have fun, anyway this is your age i had seen you guys going to the terrace last night, only then I came to know that you guys had a night plan to watch a movie, dadi said smiling .

Means dadu is not angry he was also joking dadi ,adi asked and all nodded.

After that all four of us sat down to have breakfast on our own chairs on which we sit every day we were having breakfast when Sunita aunty said something that make me Stop eating.

Bhabhi have you check all the preparations for Karva Chauth, sunita aunty said.

Yes, I have seen everything and after some time designers have also come for clothes as tomorrow is karwa chauth, suhana aunty said.

Tomorrow is Karva Chauth how did i forget that this will be my third Karva Chauth without the one for whom i kept this fast and my hand went to touch my wedding chain i don't know if I should keep this fast, what if someone else is keeping this fast for him for his happiness for his safety .

Stop thinking Chandni you're are a married woman, I should keep this fast, for his safety, and should fulfill my duty as a wife that I promise ,i thought in mind and started having my breakfast.

After lunch both uncles went to office and both aunties went to the kitchen and we all youngster went to living room to sit with dadi and dadu.

After some time we went to our room, it's was past afternoon and i was studying in my room when i heard aunty calling me Ahana, Aditi.

When I reached downstairs, I saw that there were many dresses and some people were also there they must bhi designers.

Ahana, Aditi Chandni, all three of you also chose dresses for tomorrow , sunita aunty said when she saw that all three of us had come.

All three of us went to see those dresses there are so many beautiful Saree suits and others types of traditional dresses after seeing them anyone could easily find out that it would be very expensive too.

After sometime Ahana and Aditi liked red colour beautiful anarkali suits and elder's women of the choses saares for tomorrow .

Bacche you haven't chosen any dress yet , suhana aunty said and come towards me.

Aunty you already had brought so many dresses for me I'll wear one of those tomorrow ,i said but ahana and Aditi came towards me and take me towards the beautiful red anarkali suit which was a bit similar to there  dress.

I knew you will say this that why we have already selected the dress for you too, Ahana said and Aditi nodded.

But it's not necessary ahana, i said slowly and started fidting my fingers they already spend so much money on me in this few months for my education and other expenses and i don't want them spend more money on me.

It's needed i want my three daughters should see the best tomorrow , suhana aunty said and bought that dress for me and it was really beautiful dress.

Tomorrow you will wear this dress and don't think to much i know what are thinking samjhyi, suhana aunty said smiling then hugged me and i nodded with teary eyes and hugged her back.

Dar saa lagta h aye jindagi

Kahyi phir se mujhse kuch chin na jaaye

At night -

We were having our dinner sitting at the dining table whith little chit chat with eachother mostly i am nodding like always and everyone is talking and like always Ahana, Aditi and adi having fight for food.

Badi maa Abeer Bhai kab aayegye? It's been 5 months per Bhai abhi tak nahi aaye,Adi asked looking at aunty

Don't talk about him ,for him only his work and business is important apni  maa aur family ki to koi fikar nahi h let him come home then I will teach him good lesson i will twist his ears, Suhana aunty said in anger said and everyone smiled but adi laughed like manic.

Bhai ki to shaamt aane wali h ,adi said and everyone laughed at his excitement to see his brother in that situation.

Suhana and Sunita have you done all the preparations for auspicious Sargi , dadi asked.

Jii ma we have done all the preparations, just we have to wake up early in the morning for sargi, Sunita aunty Said after that everyone left for there's room and i also went in  my room.

As soon as I went to my room, i went towards my wardrobe and take out my night suit which was white loose kurti and white palazzo with white dupatta and went towards washroom to change.

After changing i came out of washroom and went towards my room balcony to see the star's which is my daily work after dadi death i like to to watch them once my dadi said to me that when someone dies, they become stars its means she also become like mumma and Papa and it's means she's watching me with mumma and Papa .

After spending some time in the balcony, i went to sleep in my room  so that i can get up early in the morning for Sargi i set the alarm on my phone for 4 am and went to sleep .
