~CHAPTER 11~

*•*•*•Can we go to 7 eleven?•*•*•*

"Listen up." I scream at the top of the stairs

This afternoon I decided to skip the last 2 classes. Is it smart when there's a parent teacher meeting coming up in about eight days? No, it is not. Do I care? No, I do not.

Now, getting to the point. I decided to skip the last 2 classes so when I got to Fredrickson Hall, I saw two men working on the elevator. I'm guessing all of you can guess what's happening now. The elevator is fixed, and I want it to stay that way because I'm lazy as fuck. Apparently, all the boys from Fredrickson have an all-boys group chat and they decided to add me, so I texted them to meet me here. And here we are.

"Why are we here?" one of the boys asks.

"That's why." I point to the elevator that just happens to open and out comes Lucas with headphones listening to music and dancing. He looks up at us and speaks

"You guys were having a super-secret spy meeting without me?" He says in a pained tone.

"No, you just don't check your phone." I look back at everyone. "Okay, so as I was saying, the elevator is fixed, and I want it to stay fixed. I'm lazy and I don't like the stairs."

"Don't you play soccer?" A sophomore whose name I think is Todd, says.

"Not the point Todd."

"My name is Timothy."

"Again, not the point Todd." I smile at him. "Don't break the elevator because I'm lazy and I don't like the stairs. That pretty much sums up what I wanted to say. Disperse."

We all go our separate ways and I go to the elevator, that has a sign that says *maximum capacity 6*. I get on and go to my floor. Let's hope it lasts.

...

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I look at the now again, out of service elevator. "How did this happen? It's only been like 45 minutes"

"A lot can happen in 45 minutes." Cole says

"I guess you ain't riding it anytime soon princess." Chase says with a smirk on his face. Oh, he definitely had something to do with this.

"Why? Who would do this? Who would murder such a good elevator?" I touch the elevator "It's still cold" I look at Lucas and we burst out laughing. "No, but seriously do you guys know who did this?" They point towards Chase.

"Wow, good to know who my real friends are." He says with a hand on his chest as if what they did pained him, I glare at him. Idiot.

"You're welcome babe." Lucas blows him a kiss.

"Why would you do that?" Why would he ruin the newly fixed elevator? My heart aches.

"Because." He shrugs his shoulders.

"That's not a reason."

"It is for you." Damn it. I hate it when people use my own words against me. "Don't mess with me." Don't mess with me? What?

"Is this because of the soccer practice yesterday?" He can't be serious? IT'S SOCCER PRACTICE!

"Like I said, don't mess with me." Oh, that is it!

"Eres- AHH! ¿Solo por eso? ¿Me estas jodiendo? Eres un pedazo de mierda. ¿Sabes qué? Me voy. Si no fuera por la gente que tengo a mi alrededor, ya estuvieras enterrado. Me voy!" I heard him mumble a 'What did she say?' to Cole before I left. I go upstairs to get my keys, jacket and phone then leave.

TRANSLATION: You're- AHH! Just because of that? Are you fucking with me? You're a piece of shit. You know what? I'm leaving. If it weren't for the people around me, you'd already be buried. I'm leaving!

My original plan was to go to the soccer field, but when I got there, I saw that the fence that divides the field from the forest was cut open. I go through the fence and walk through the forest; I shouldn't be doing this.

It's still day out, but I swear this is horror movie 101. Let's hope some guy with a hook hand and a chainsaw doesn't attack me. I keep walking until I came across a clearing. It had some grass, and it had some purple and white flowers. It was weird how much it reminded me of the one from Twilight.

I stayed here just laying on the ground for half an hour until I decided that I needed to get back. I'll definitely be coming back.

While I was laying on the grass, I found a way to get back at Chase, but for me to do it I'll be needing help.

I finally approach the doors of Frederickson Hall and I'm relieved that a man with a hook hand and a chainsaw didn't attack me, not that it would've happened. I get to my room and get my stuff so I can take a shower. After I'm finished with my shower I go to the dining hall for dinner.

"Hey." I say to everyone as I start to approach our usual table.

"Hello." Lizzie says. "Where were you?"

"Taking a shower. I was mad earlier, so I went to the soccer field, and I didn't want to come to dinner dirty so I took a shower." I say not telling her the entire truth. I was dirty because there was dirt in the clearing, but I didn't go to the soccer field.

"I feel like you spend most of your time on the soccer field." May chimes in.

"Me too." I chuckle and start to eat.

"We heard that the elevator was fixed in Fredrickson." May says and my heart aches once again.

"Was is the key word." I say.

"They already broke it?" Lizzie asks surprised.

"One hour in." I send Chase a nasty glare and he just smirks, God I hate him so much.

After dinner the girls and I decide to go to May's dorm room. We were just talking when I got an idea. Lucas had told me that in the weekends we can go off of campus and into town. I remembered that I got an idea of how to get back at Chase for breaking the elevator, but for that I needed to sneak out and I would need someone with a car.

"Hey, any of you two have a car in the school parking lot?" I ask turning my chair to face them.

"Yeah, I do. Why?" May says and I smile at her.

"You guys wanna sneak out?"

"Hell yeah." May and Liz say at the same time.

"Then let's go."

We quickly grab her keys and make our way to the schools parking lot. Of course, there's a guard for the cars. I guess I'll just have to break out my flirting skills.

"Okay, you two get the car and I'll distract him." They nod and start going in the direction of May's car.

"Well, hello there." I smile at him.

"Hi" the guard smiles at me.

"Officer uhm- officer Smith. I have a question."

"Ask away."

"How are you so muscular?" I inwardly cringe at my question.

"I work out every day." I look at the cameras behind him and see that May and Liz are on their way out of the parking lot. I get a text from them saying that they're already out.

"Oh, sugar plums, I forgot I have a test tomorrow that I need to study for. Well, I'll see you around."

"Uh- yeah, see ya." I start walking towards May's car and get in.

"I swear that was my worst flirting ever."

"You flirted with him? I thought you were only going to distract him." May says laughing

"That is the way I distract people." I wiggle my eyebrows and they laugh

"Oh God, you're crazy." Lizzie says while laughing.

"I know" I smile proudly.

"Okay, where to first?" May asks.

"Ooh can we go to 7 eleven? I want some Slurpee's." I haven't had a Slurpee in a long time.

"7 eleven it is." And that's exactly what we do. We go to 7 eleven, get some chips and Slurpee's that we eat in the car. After that we went to Target because it's the only place where you can buy cheap furnisher and room decor. I told the girls how I was going to get back at Chase for breaking the elevator.

"Oh, he is so going to hate you." We were now on the check-out line.

"Exactly." I smirk at them and proceed to bag the items we bought. We leave Target and start our journey back to school. We sang and danced along to the music May had put on. We get to the school and decide that it's Lizzies turn to distract the guard while we get the car in. She does as told and goes distract him. And that is how our amazing midnight memories ended. I told the girls to hide the stuff we bought in their rooms so Chase can't see what's coming for him.

I get to my room and Chase is sitting in his bed using his phone. I grab my pj's and go to the bathroom to change. I get back to my room and I know I won't be able to sleep just yet, so I grab my laptop and start to watch The Vampire Diaries.

"What are you watching?" Chase asked out of nowhere. I swear this boy is bipolar. He's angry with me one second and the next he's all friendly.

"The Vampire Diaries."

"Is it good?"

"Very. Wanna watch?" he nods and brings his desk chair next to my bed. I take my earphones off and we start to watch.

"Who's that?"

"That's Matt a.k.a Ratty Matty. Now shh, no interrupting TVD." We spent the next few hours watching The Vampire Diaries until I feel myself getting sleepy.

NEXT DAY

I was currently texting the girls to come over so we could start decorating the room. Just one thing left.

"Hey Shawn."

"Hey Maddie what's up."

"I called Mark, but he didn't answer, and I need a favor."

If you're wondering who Shawn and Mark are, Mark is my brother, we were born 15 years apart, so he was already out of the house when I started kindergarten, and Shawn is his husband. They got married young and a year after they adopted their first kid. Now they're 11 years married and with 6 kids.

"Sure, what do you need?"

"I need the twins." The twins are Hope and Josie

"Of course, here they are" I then here the voices of my nieces. "Hi aunt Maddie." Josie says

"Hey sweetie."

"Aunt Maddie, did daddy send you the video of my talent show?" Hope says

"He did, and you did so well." I smile and then continue. "Okay girls, I need your help with something, but you can't tell your dads, okay? It's a secret."

"Okay." Just as she says this there is a knock on the door.

"Perfect timing." I change the call from voice call to face-time. "Come in."

"Hey bitch, we have to do this fast because the boys are almost done with practice." May says as she enters the room

"Aunt Maddie, what does that word mean?" Josie asks

"Nothing sweetie. Don't repeat anything we say, aunt Maddie is a bad influence."

"Okay."

"May, Liz these are Josie and Hope two of my nieces."

"Oops." May says and smiles sheepishly. "Hey girls." The girls say hi back and say hi to Liz

"Okay let's start. You brought everything?"

"Yep."

"This is going to be fun."
