Chapter 1024
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
chpter 1024 Zach left, the Young residenceâs living room lay in disarray, with expensive items damaged.
Kevin, trailing behind Zech, had not seen him lose his cool like this in years. Kevin reflected on the old days, realizing that if it had been back then, Yvonne would have faced dire consequences.
The damage inflicted by the bodyguards was a mere trifle for the Young family, yet it sent a clear warning Kevin thought about Yvonneâs miraculous survival from the plane crash and wondered why she was the only one.
âWonât this provoke the Young family into slandering Jardin Corporation?â Kevin asked Zach.
Zach, flicking his cigarette away, replied with a dismissive air, âSince when have I feared the Young family? Weâre heading to the office.â
Kevin, understanding Zachâs cue, responded, âYes, Mr. Jardin.â
Meanwhile, at Jardin Corporation, Cecilia, frustrated, ended a call. Then, Blake approached with coffee and said, âMs. Samford, your coffee. Is there anything else?â
Blake, despite her pending resignation, diligently assisted Cecilia.
âWhy havenât I received Mr. Jardinâs schedule yet?â Cecilia inquired sharply.
Blake explained, âOnly Mr. Harrison has access to Mr. Jardinâs schedule. I messaged him yesterday, but no reply. Iâve tried calling, but no luck. Mr. Jardin hasnât been in the office much lately, often working from home.â
Cecilia mulled over that and then instructed, âCarry on with your tasks. And later, come with me to Zachâs villa. I need his signature.â
Blake acknowledged and left, deciding to inform Madelyn about Ceciliaâs planned visit.
In the studio, preparing to paint, Madelyn checked her phone and saw a message from Blake, [Madelyn, Cecilia is coming to see Mr. Jardin.]
âCecilia is coming? Madelyn thought to herself.
Madelyn replied, [Got it, thanks.]
Blake replied, No problem.]
Margaret entered with a bowl of expensive wagyu beef soup for Madelyn, muttering, âMr. Jardin spares stop what youâre doing and drink this. Itâs something special today,â Margaret urged.
Madelyn looked at the soupâs rich color, pretty but unappetizing. She instructed Margaret, âIf someone visits later, let the bodyguards handle it. Donât let anyone in, regardless of who it is. If asked, say Zach Isnât here.
Margaret nodded and said, âYes, Ms. Jent.â
Ms. Jent is becoming more like the mistress of the house now. I wonder whoâs coming? A guest maybe?
If itâs someone Ms. Jent doesnât welcome, that person must be no good.â Margaret thought to herself.
Madelyn tasted the soup. It was refreshing and not greasy. She commented, âNot bad.â
After an hour of sketching. Madelyn noticed a flashy red Lamborghini outside. Cecilia, dressed in a stylish business outfit, was halted by Zachâs bodyguards at the gate.
Madelyn listened to the exchange from the third floor.
The bodyguard said, âSorry, maâam, but without prior instruction from Mr. or Mrs. Jardin, no outsiders are.
allowed.â
Cecilia took off her sunglasses and said, âDonât you know who I am? Do I need permission to enter?â
The bodyguard remained firm, âSorry, no matter who you are, I canât let you in without permission from Mr. or Mrs. Jardin,â
Cecilia, unaccustomed to being denied entry, became enraged. She shouted, âOpen your damn eyes!
Iâm the Vice President of Jardin Corporation. I come and go as I please. How dare you try to stop me?
Move aside!â
Cecilia attempted to force her way in, only to be pushed back.
The bodyguard warned, âIf you keep causing trouble, weâll call the police.â
Cecilia, livid, raised her hand to slap the defiant bodyguard and threatened, âYouâll regret this! There will be consequences for stopping me.
Blake, aware of Ceciliaâs temper/wisely kept her distance, and discreetly informed Kevin of the situation.
At the office, Kevin saw his phone flooded with messages, including several from Blake. After a brief glance decided to block her number.â
