âFinished with your meal, Liam?â
âYes, Iâm done.â
âItâs still early. How about a movie? I heard thereâs a great sciâfi movie playing. Are you interested?â
âSounds good to me.â
When it was time to pay, Liam promptly took care of the bill.â
âYou know, you could try digital payment next time. Itâs super convenient,â Blake suggested.

âIâm taking a day off for this date, Liam said and looked at Blake gently. âAre you cold?â

âHere.â Liam offered Blake a pair of black knitted gloves.
Blake was taken aback. âBut what about you?â
âI donât really get cold,â Liam said.
âI donât buy it.â Blake touched Liamâs hand, finding it surprisingly warm. âOkay, fine, Iâll wear them.
