Chapter 1089
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
Susan got up and walked out of the booth. She saw Blake outside, being carried away by a group of old men. She recognized some of the men, who were executives they had worked with before.
Susan smiled evilly and thought, âNever thought you would become a plaything for old men one day, Blake.
Susan watched them walk away before returning to the booth. She told Kevin, âThey had already left when I walked out, Mr. Harrison. Iâm not sure if I identified them correctly. I think I saw Blake, some Kraft Technologies executives, and others.â
âWhy is she here?â Kevin asked.
Susan shook her head innocently, âI donât know. Maybe we were mistaken. Shouldnât Blake be at the hospital taking care of Ms. Samford? She couldnât possibly be here.â
âDo you want to leave, Mr. Harrison? Iâm planning to discuss the development of Eternal Seasons with you, the owner of Eternal Seasons, Henry Musk, suddenly said.
Î Kevin calmly placed his cup down and answered, âItâs still early, Mr. Musk. We can discuss the collaboration in detail some other time.â
âThat would be great. I just didnât expect Jardin Corporation to be interested in Eternal Seasons,â Henry answered.
Kevin nodded and said, âI came because Mr. Jardinâs wedding is happening soon. Since they chose the Eternal Seasons for the venue, and Mrs. Jardin is satisfied with it, Mr. Jardin wants to collaborate with you.â
âHahaha, itâs an honor to be up to Mrs. Jardinâs standards. Do not worry, Mr. Harrison. We at the Eternal Seasons will do our best to meet Mr. Jardinâs expectations for the wedding,â Henry replied.
The Eternal Seasons was a resort that provided various activities. The location was marvelous and isolated from the rest of the world. It was like entering wonderland the moment you stepped foot into the Eternal Seasons.
Coincidentally, Liam was at another booth on the second floor. Olivia passed an agreement before him, saying, âThe rights to your book are about to expire next month. This is the new agreement; I hope you can read it.â
Liam replied, âIâve told you before. I canât accept a buyout over it.â
Olivia argued, âLiam, do it for the company or me. After you finish writing this book, I know you will not you know what that means to me?â
Liam stood firm, âNo way am I allowing you to monopolize it. You should know that continuing this debate is meaningless.â
Olivia said to him, âDo you have to do this? We will become competitors when you join the Jardin Corporation as the editor-in-chief. Are you this cold-blooded, Liam? You couldâve come to my company if you wanted a job to make your life more interesting. I can give you benefits similar to the Jardin Corporation. We both know you donât lack money.â
Liamâs clear gaze landed on the scenery outside. He answered, âIâm not going to Jardin Corporation for the money.â
