Chapter 1101
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
Any news about Zach and Madelynâs upcoming marriage, even a simple hand-holding moment between them, amplified Yvonneâs resentment.
The plastic surgeon performing Yvonneâs surgery reassured her, âMs. Young, donât worry. Fixing the scars on your face is a minor procedure for a professional like me. If you follow up with the treatment properly, thereâs a good 50-60% chance of restoring your original appearance.â
Yvonne was not able to speak due to the anesthesia, she closed her eyes in resignation. Her disfigured face, if it could be even partially restored, was all she hoped for now. She was desperate to regain her former appearance and live a normal life with Zach.
âMadelyn, you took everything from me. Iâll take it all back one day.â Yvonne thought.
Meanwhile, a servant rushed upstairs with news of an approaching car, âMadam, the same group of people from last time are here, including your son-in-law, Mr. Jardin.â
Frida, overwhelmed with rage, slapped the servant, âSilence! Heâs no longer part of my family. Heâs my enemy. Make sure no one gets through that door.â
Yvonne began to panic after she heard the commotion. She could not move due to the anesthesia and struggled in vain. She said, âNo, he canât see me like this.â
The surgeon warned her, âMs. Young, calm down. Weâre at a crucial part of the surgery. If you move now, all our efforts could be wasted.â
Yvonneâs voice, rough and desperate, said, âHeâs coming. I canât let him see me like this.â
The surgeon firmly said, âNo. The machine is running and we canât stop it mid-process. Donât worry Ms.
Young. Your mother will make sure no one comes in.â
Outside, Zach, sheltered by an umbrella and accompanied by Kevin, approached with an aura of dark authority. Fridaâs bodyguards were no match for Zachâs group of men.
Zach walked into the hall bringing along the pungent smell of blood. Frida came downstairs, yelling,â
Youâre all useless! You canât even stop one person!â
Frida refused to let Zach upstairs and confronted him, âHow did you know I was here?â
Zach, nonchalantly lighting a cigarette, asked, âAre you going to bring her out, or do I have to look for her, myself?â
Suddenly, Frida pointed a gun at Zach and said, âOne more step and Iâll kill you!â
Kevin was already standing in front of Zach.
Zach was unfazed and questioned, âDo you even know how to use it?â
He added, âIâve let you off the hook multiple times. You spied on me, tried to drag me down, and you nearly injured Madelyn in my own house. Youâre not getting away this time.â
Zach was a believer in swiftly eliminating any threats, but his leniency in the past had led to this current situation.
