Chapter 120
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
Madelyn changed into a set of white sportswear and tied her hair into a high ponytail. With a sun visor hat on, her slim figure caught the attention of many people.
Her golf coach, Tiger Irwin, had once been a local golf champion, but he was now retired. He exuded an air of elegance, like a true gentleman. He came from a poor, dysfunctional family, and due to his fatherâs debts, he had even been sold to Supreme World as forced labor. He was then exposed to golf and started getting professional training.
In his heyday, many prominent businessmen would fly across the world just to see his matches.
Hayson had spent a lot of effort and money to get him as a coach.
From behind, Tiger had his arms around Madelyn as he held the golf club. âDonât use too much strength from your wrist, and donât panic. Relax.â
Madelyn pursed her lips and relaxed. They had a safe distance between each other, and with the help of Tigerâs strength, Madelyn managed to hit the golf ball into the hole flawlessly.
âNot bad. Youâve improvedâ¦â
âYou flatter me, coach. If it werenât for you, Iâd never make a hole.â
Tiger passed her a bottle of water as he responded, âYou have three sessions with me each. week, and youâve missed twelve. Have you been unwell?â
Madelyn took a sip of water and shook her head. âNo, I was busy with school.â
âYeah, you should put your studies first. If you canât make it, I can replace the missed classes for you next time.â
âWouldnât that affect your other classes? I remember you even have classes scheduled for years later. I wouldnât want to keep a gold medal coach to myself for such a long time.â
Tiger was over 30 years old, but he looked nothing like it and could easily pass as a 25-year- old. Many women found him attractive because of his character and demeanor, which made. talking to him very relaxing.
He looked at his watch and said, âWe have an hour left. Do you want to take a longer break or continue your training?â
Madelyn put the bottle of water aside as she responded, âLetâs get on with the training, coach! Youâre really expensive, just saying.â
Tiger chuckled. âOkay, letâs get started.â
Madelyn hardly smiled, but Tiger felt like a big brother next door to her.
Tiger was paid fifty thousand dollars per hour. If Hayson ever found out that she was spending that hour drinking water, his temper would be through the roof.
Madelyn was not gifted in sports, and even the simplest activity like running would get her breathless.
At the shooting range on the third floor, Zach was looking at two figures on the golf course.
Kai walked over to him, with a service lady in a mini skirt wrapped around his arm.
âYouâre looking at young girls, huh? Tch, honestly though, that oneâs pretty. She always pulled a long face while in the hospital. Hey, do you think she has her eyes on that guy already? From what Iâve heard, Tiger has many rich women after him. Not bad for a guy like him, huh? He didnât accept any of them. Maybe, heâs just like me, a man with specific tastes! After all, the older we get, the younger we like.â
Seeing that Zach was not responding, Kai started to think to himself.
âMadelynâs still a minor, yet she already has such prominent features. Sheâs going to be a stunner when she grows up. Zach must be blind. Why doesnât he want such a good lady?â
An hour flew by, and Madelyn had lost all her strength in her wrist. She could not even pick up her bottle.
She waved to Tiger, who went over to her and massaged her arm.
âThis happens when you overexert yourself after not exercising for a long time. Youâll get used to it.
Feeling any better?â
Madelyn pulled her arm back. She did not know whether it was because of herself or if Zach was too controlling, but she would be afraid whenever she had physical contact with a man.
âIâm fine. Thank you.â
Tiger noticed her strange reaction and said, âSorry if I crossed the line. You looked like were in pain.
Hope you donât mind.â
