Chapter 1321
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
On this romantic night, the moon was obscured by the clouds.
Breathing heavily, Blake felt some pain in her abdomen. She asked to stop. âLiam, my stomach hurts. I think Iâm going to have my period soon.â
Liam sobered up instantly. âIâll go get you some medicine.â
She peeked out from under the blanket as the bedside lamp turned 1. She could clearly see Liamâs naked upper body. Her face flushed as she averted her gaze. âItâs fine. Just help me call the front desk and ask them to bring up a pack of sanitary pads. Iâll go to the bathroom to deal with it.â
Liam replied, âLetâs go to the hospital tomorrow for a check-up.â
Blake picked up her clothes from the floor and went to the bathroom.
Itâs okay. Itâs probably just my period.â
However, judging by the blood flowing out, it did not seem like menstrual blood to Blake. It looked like something else.
Blakeâs voice came from the bathroom again. âI think we should go to the hospital.â
She sat on the toilet and watched the tall, slender Liam, in his pajamas, walk in. He was holding a sanitary pad. âDo you need help?â
Blake replied, âI think you should go out. I feel a little embarrassed.â
âAll right. Iâll wait for you outside.â
Liam walked to the balcony and answered a phone call. It was Olivia.
Olivia was looking at her screen, reading some drafts, when she said, â
I saw the email you sent me. I didnât expect so much to happen to you two. Liam, women hate being lied to. When Blake finds out the truth, sheâll only hate you more.â
Liam asked, âWhat should I do?â
âTell her the truth. As for her final decision, itâs up to her. If she knows the truth now, there might still be a slight chance to salvage the situation,â Olivia answered.
Clutching her uncomfortable stomach, Blake walked out of the washroom, intending to get some water. She overheard something about the truth and the chance to salvage the situation.
Liam saw Blake and met her eyes. She walked to the kitchen without asking him any questions and poured herself a glass of water.
When she felt the water was cold, she decided to boil some.
Liam asked, âIs it very painful? Should we go to the hospital now?â
Blake refused and said, âLetâs decide that tomorrow. It doesnât feel like itâs my period. But I think I should just go to the hospital for a check-up anyway.â
Liam pursed his lips, hesitating to speak. His gaze gradually became intense as he stared at her face.
âBlake, thereâs something I want to tell you.â
When the water was heated, she poured it into the cup to mix it with He continued, âYouâre pregnant. Itâs been over a month now. Considering the timing, you were in Northern Myanmar.â
A loud sound was heard. Blake was so shocked that she dropped the cup in her hand to the ground. She smiled in disbelief. âHowâs that possible?! Liam, you must be mistaken. H-How could I be pregnant?â
Liam responded, âIt was confirmed during the examination when we went to the hospital last time. Blake this child belongs to Kevin, right?
Blake was stunned for a moment. She did not know whether to feel sad or happy.
They stared at each other for a very long time. After a long silence, Blake said in a choked voice, âYou were talking to Olivia, right? The voice sounded like hers.
âYou told her about my pregnancy, am I right? Did you discuss it with her? Have you reached a decision?â
