Chapter 1325
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
Liam stood up. He watched as Blake, who looked weary, walked away. âBlake, what do you want me to do so youâll like me?â
Blake did not stop walking. Instead, she took even bigger steps and left.
She went to the Harper residence, which surprised everyone.
Grace asked, âBlake? Why did you come back here? Whereâs Liam?
Why didnât he come back with you?â
Blake stuttered, unable to find the words. She just made up an excuse, saying, âItâs nothing. I just wanted to come back.â
After Hannah and Yael left the wedding last night, they went back to the research institute.
As for Simon, he went to the farm to manage the business.
After Blake went to her room, Grace became worried. She followed her and saw her sitting with a blank expression in the room, not knowing what to do.
When Blake saw Grace, she quickly adjusted her mood. âGrace, why are you here?â
âI came to check on you. Blake, whatâs wrong? Did you have a fight with Liam? You just had your wedding yesterday, and youâre already back here alone?â Grace responded.
Blake kept her head down and finally replied after a while, saying, âItâs my problem, but itâs fine. Donât worry, Liam and I will deal with the things between us.â
Grace asked, âIs it because you think whenever Liam is with you, heâs just following someone elseâs advice on everything? Does this make you feel unhappy? Did Olivia text you?â
Blake looked at Grace in surprise. âHow did you know about this?â
Grace sighed. She held Blakeâs hands and said, âJust before you came back, Liam called me. At first I didnât believe what he said, but you did come back here!
âIâm actually very happy that you treat this place as your home. I was worried that when you were mistreated out there, youâd endure it alone and not come back.
But Blake, youâre married now. Things are different from before. No matter what happens, Liam shouldnât be the only one making compromises.
âHe kept in touch with Olivia and told her everything between you two only shows that he cares a lot about you. Otherwise, he wouldnât ask an outsider for advice to try and please you.â
Blake did not know how to bring up the pregnancy matter. She replied truthfully, âI donât mind if he keeps in touch with Olivia. I just donât like an outsider getting involved in my affairs.
âAlso, I donât understand why Liam is doing this. I feel like Olivia is more important to him than me.â
Grace asked, âAre you jealous?â
Blake was not sure if she was jealous, but she certainly was bothered by this matter and felt uncomfortable.
Grace said, âHow about this? Iâll have Liam come over tonight, and you two can have a good talk to clear things up. Who returns home the next day they have their wedding?
âIf people find out about this, wouldnât it be a joke?
âHave you been to Liamâs familyâs place yet?â
Blake shook her head. âLiam has a strained relationship with his father. Itâs very complicated. He hasnât gone back, so I followed suit.â
Grace nodded. âItâs fine to live with Liam alone; you donât have to worry about pleasing his family.
âBut youâve never been one to be taken advantage of since you were young. You never let yourself be mistreated.â
Grace still decided to call Liam. Blake could not do anything to stop her.
When Liam arrived, Blake noticed that he did not look right. She wondered if he was having his headaches again.
For the first time, she felt like she was the one causing trouble all the time.
