Madelyn passed out for a long time, but she could hear someone talking next to her.

She knew it was Zach. Even with her eyes closed, she could hear him speaking. Zach repeatedly wiped her body with warm water, groomed her hair, and changed her into clean clothes.

Then, he stood up, rushed forward, and grabbed Kai’s collar before taking him outside, “I want him dead, so what? If she dies, I’m going to burn the whole hospital down.”

There were still bruises on Kai’s face as they had fought not long ago. Kai looked at him emotionlessly, “What about you? What’s the point of you living if she’s dead? Don’t forget, you’re the one who drugged her, and everything was your idea. Are you regretting it now?

“It has been six years, and you had countless chances to make things right. Have you done anything for it?

“Zach Jardin, if she dies, you’re the person who caused it! You don’t deserve to continue living either if she’s dead. You didn’t hesitate to hurt her back then. Who are you putting a show on for now?

“Ethan was willing to risk his life to love her. What about you? Do you love her? The truth is you only want her because of how possessive you are; you don’t even love her. With just that, you can never compare to Ethan.

Two nurses happened to pass by and glanced at the staircase from downstairs, “Why are they fighting again?”

“Who knows? I wouldn’t want to go up there now.”

The nurses who went upstairs to work all came running down, crying, with no exception.
