Chapter 919
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
Mya curled up in the wardrobe, her body pressing against the wardrobe door. âIs he gone?â
Just as she muttered, the wardrobe was suddenly opened, and a strong light hit Mya. She anxiously tightened her grip on the pocket watch in her hand.
âI-I didnât mean to, Fred, please donât hit me. I wonât sneak downstairs for snacks again.â Mya shrank into the corner of the wardrobe, protecting her head.
âCome out, I wonât do anything to you! âFred frowned when he saw her like this.
âDo you promise not to hurt me?â
Mya sounded like she was about to cry, and Fred reluctantly agreed, âFine.â
âLet me pass.â After coming out of the wardrobe, Mya, holding the pocket watch, kept her distance from Fred. Mya pointed to the ground beneath him, saying, âJust stand there and donât come over.â
âI wonât budge.â
Fred had never listened to a woman like this before.
Mya glanced at the photo inside the pocket watch and smiled, revealing the dimples on the corners of her lips. Then, she hung the pocket watch around her neck and tucked it into the collar of her shirt. âIâm so sorry, Fred! I didnât mean to peek. I was just hungry and wanted to get something to eat downstairs.
I didnât expect to see you both doingâ¦that. Donât worry, next time I hear someone crying, I wonât walk over anymore.
âI swear!â Mya raised her hand, showing three fingers, not giving him time to speak. Then, she quickly ran to the bed and covered herself with a blanket. âFred, you can go back to sleep now. Iâm going to sleep too. Iâm tired.â
Fredâs bedroom was right next to Myaâs. After Fred left Myaâs room, the woman in his room knelt on the ground, trembling. âM-Mr. Turner!â
Fred kicked the woman on the ground, glancing over the woman heartlessly as she curled up in pain silently.
She knew that she would be punished even more mercilessly if she had made a sound. After Fred had finished taking his anger out on this woman, she was already clinging to life on the ground.
The master treasured the pet he raised, but the pet did not care about the masterâs feelings⦠A pet that was not well trained needed to be slowly disciplined to become obedient.
That night, Mya slept well without nightmares. However, her neck felt itchy. She wanted to turn, but she felt like something was pressing on her, making it hard to breathe.
Mya opened her eyes and saw a strange figure on her body. She quickly pushed the man off. âFred, what are you doing?
He said seductively, âCover me with the blanket, Iâm cold. Whatâs wrong, donât you donât like it?â
âI donâtâ¦â she began, but Fred stopped her from saying anything more with a kiss. Before Mya completely lost control of herself, she suddenly struggled violently. âNo⦠Stop it, Fred.â
Fred stopped as he thought that she was unwell. âWhatâs wrong?â
Mya pretended to cover her stomach, â My stomach hurts. Youâre putting too much pressure on the baby.â
Seizing the opportunity, Mya crawled out from under him. However, before her feet could touch the ground, Fred saw through her act and brought his pet back with one hand.
As he kissed her, Mya quickly pushed Fredâs face away. âFred, what weâre doing is wrong. My mom said I should only do this with someone I like.â
Fredâs eyes darkened. âWe did it last time, and it felt good, didnât it? Mya⦠donât resist it, okay?â
Mya looked at him with clear eyes before shaking her head. âWhat weâre doing is wrong. I donât like you, so we canât do this.
âTh-That incident last time doesnât countâ¦â
