William, happy to see her care for him, agreed.

When she came out of the shower, William was already asleep. He had taken off his prosthetic leg, leaving a hollow space at his calf, looking rather pathetic.

Brittany walked over quietly, turned off the light, and lay down on the sofa, The room was silent. Brittany’s mind was filled with the events of the evening. She was extremely agitated. Why did Isaac show up at the restaurant?

What right did he have to hit William? She needed to divorce him as soon as possible. She didn’t want anything to do with the Salter family anymore.

She didn’t manage to fall asleep until three in the morning.

When Isaac returned to Radiant Residences, it was almost ten o’clock. Emily was holding a new set of toiletries, ready to replace Daniel’s old ones.

“Mr. Salter, you’re back.”

Isaac saw the items in her hand and asked, “For Daniel?”

“Yes. His toiletries need to be replaced.”

“Give them to me.” Isaac reached out his hand, “It’s late. You should rest.”

Emily handed him the items and reminded him, “Daniel is frail. Be careful when bathing him; don’t let him catch a cold.”

Due to being premature and having been affected by Brittany’s toxins, Daniel was particularly weak.
