“Grandpa, I am at the hospital, can you come see me?”

Zade Radcliffe, who was dealing with affairs in his office at Northern Energy Group, suddenly received a call from his grandson.

He was also curious as to why he had not seen Otis Radcliffe in the workshop today.

Just as he was thinking of finishing his work and then giving a call, his grandson beat him to it.

“Otis, what’s wrong? What illness have you contracted?” Zade Radcliffe asked with utmost concern.

His most beloved was this grandson.

From a young age, he had raised Otis as his successor, always giving him the best of everything. As for the other Radcliffe children, they had to wait until Otis had made his pick.

Now, hearing that Otis was sick, Zade Radcliffe became instantly anxious.

How could a perfectly healthy person become ill all of a sudden?

“My legs were broken by Julius Reed. I am now lying in the hospital waiting for surgery,” Otis said in a pained tone, his voice even carrying a sob.

“What!”

Upon hearing Otis’s words, Zade Radcliffe roared in fury, “What right does Julius Reed have to hit my grandson! Otis, which hospital are you at? I’ll be right there! Rest assured, Grandfather will take care of Julius Reed for you!”

As the General Manager of Northern Energy Group, he had made the acquaintance of many celebrities and tycoons within Five-river Province.

Even though his former allies Miguel Abbott and Stanislaus Potter had died in a car accident, Northern Energy Group still placed great trust in Zade Radcliffe.

“Grandfather, I’m at Harmony Hospital in Five-river Province. Just come over, we’ll talk about revenge later,” Otis said weakly, “Grandfather, I’m a bit tired, I’ll get some sleep first.”

“Good! You rest well, grandson, I’ll be there shortly,” Zade Radcliffe was heavily burdened after hearing the news of Otis’s injury.

On the way, he started planning how to deal with Julius Reed.

If he didn’t kill Julius Reed for breaking Otis’s legs twice in a row, Zade Radcliffe felt he would never calm his anger.

Soon, the car arrived at the hospital entrance.

Zade Radcliffe didn’t wait for the driver; he hurried into Harmony Hospital by himself, took the elevator to the sixth floor where inpatients stayed, and followed the room number Otis had given him earlier.

As soon as he entered the room, he saw Otis lying on the bed, both legs in casts and suspended in the air.

“Otis!”

Zade Radcliffe’s heart clenched—this was the apple of his eye!

He silently cursed Julius Reed and rushed to Otis’s bedside to take hold of his grandson’s hand, “My boy, your legs…”

Once before, Otis’s legs had been broken by Julius Reed. That time, Zade Radcliffe had spent a great deal of money to get treatment for Otis.

Though he was eventually able to walk, he was left with a limp.

Now, Julius Reed had broken Otis’s legs again. Even a Divine Doctor would probably be powerless to reverse this.

It meant that Otis might have to spend his life in a wheelchair.

“Grandpa!”

Hearing Zade Radcliffe’s voice, Otis suddenly opened his eyes, grabbed hold of Zade Radcliffe with his nearly strengthless hand, and said weakly, “I’ve let you down, Grandpa. I wanted to vent your anger for you, but Julius Reed broke both my legs.”

“What happened?”

Hearing this, Zade Radcliffe felt a warmth in his heart.

My own grandson, he really does care about me!

If he was indeed beaten into having his legs broken by Julius Reed just to vent his anger on my behalf, Zade Radcliffe would risk his life to avenge Otis!

“Yesterday, I was drinking with friends and unexpectedly encountered Julius Reed in the bar. After seeing me, he insulted me, but knowing grandfather’s plan, I kept my composure.

Who would have thought that after a few drinks, he started to curse at grandfather in the bar!” Otis sighed, “The insults were so unbearable, I lost control of my emotions.”

“What did he say about me!”

Zade Radcliffe didn’t furrow his brow tightly but instead grasped the bedsheets of Otis’s hospital bed fiercely.

“He…” Otis appeared distressed and shook his head weakly, “Never mind. It’s too vile to repeat.”

The more Otis held back, the more curious Zade Radcliffe became.

“Speak freely, it wasn’t you who did the cursing! I’d like to hear what this son-in-law, who once married into the Radcliffe Family, thinks of this old man!” Zade’s eyes narrowed as a murderous intent flashed in them!

“He said you ungrateful old bastard, I cured your illness, yet you treated me poorly, even less than a dog in our house!” Otis’s face showed difficulty speaking, he stuttered, “That’s not all, he also cursed you for being blind and not recognizing true talent, saying that an old man like you should just die…”

Bang!

Zade Radcliffe punched the wall of the hospital room, his face flushed red with anger: “This beast! I fed him, clothed him, and even gave him my granddaughter in marriage! Now, he… he really is an ingratitude!”

Because Otis’s account was all things Zade had indeed done for Julius Reed, he had no doubt about what Otis said.

In fact, he had indeed planned to do so.

Otis struggled to sit up from the bed but was in such pain that he broke out in a cold sweat.

Moved by Otis’s words, Zade Radcliffe’s tears flowed freely.

Although he had dearly loved this grandson for many years, the boy’s waywardness had always disappointed him.

But now, because of Julius Reed’s insults, he went to confront him and ended up with broken legs, yet still advised him to consider the bigger picture.

What a good grandson!

Otis’s words further solidified Zade Radcliffe’s desire for revenge!

“Grandson, you rest easy here! Of all my grandchildren, you are the one I love the most. Now that this beast Julius Reed has broken your legs, your grandfather may not be capable of much, but I can at least make him pay a price!”

Zade Radcliffe patted Otis’s hand and stood up to leave.

“Grandfather!”

Seeing Zade Radcliffe’s resolve, Otis knew his chance had come.

“If you don’t have a good plan, I thought of one overnight that has a great chance of killing Julius Reed! Even if it doesn’t kill him, he won’t live long!”

He grabbed at Zade Radcliffe’s clothes and whispered urgently behind him.
