Chapter-11
You Are My Obsession Till Eternity
Author's POV,
As Rudra's powerful speech came to an end, the party ignited with a lively atmosphere, filled with business conversations, joyful gossip, and the indulgence of a sumptuous feast. Just as the air buzzed with excitement, a soft melody began to serenade the room, inviting couples to sway and twirl on the stage. Amidst the crowd, Neel, a colleague who had long carried a secret admiration for Pihu, mustered up the courage to approach her, accompanied by his friend Sameer.
With a nervous smile and outstretched hand, Neel asked, "May I have the honor of dancing with you, Pihu?" Pihu, torn between her own emotions and not wanting to hurt Neel's feelings, hesitated momentarily before reluctantly accepting his invitation. She motioned for her friend Shivani to join them, while Sameer followed suit.
Meanwhile, as Rudra's witnessed his beloved Pihu gracefully twirling in the arms of another man, his eyes burned with fiery jealousy , he want nothing but to tear that bastard apart. His anger threatened to consume him, his possessive instincts roaring within. However, he managed to restrain himself, refusing to let his emotions get the better of him because tonight he will be able to do what he wants. Just then, Niharika Khanna, a business partner with a long-standing crush on Rudra, approached him, seizing the opportunity to spend time with him.
"Hello, Mr. Rathore. I hope you're doing well," Niharika greeted him, her voice filled with admiration. Rudra, his attention still fixated on Pihu, responded in a distant tone, "I'm fine, Ms. Khanna." Sensing an opening, Niharika boldly asked, "May I have this dance with you, Mr. Rathore?" Without giving it a second thought, Rudra accepted her offer as this way he can snatch her love from that man hands. He leading her towards the dance floor, his eyes never straying from Pihu, determined to reclaim what he believed was rightfully his.
As Pihu and Neel moved gracefully together, Neel couldn't help but compliment her. "You look beautiful, Pihu," he said, causing a slight blush to color her cheeks. "Thank you, and you look good too," she replied, her voice filled with gratitude. Neel was about to say more, but their dance partners abruptly changed.
In an instant, Rudra pulled Pihu forcefully towards him, leaving her bewildered and unable to comprehend what had just occurred. As her gaze fell upon her new partner, her complexion drained of color, her heart racing with fear. But to Rudra, she was an exquisite vision in his arms, and the opportunity to hold her so intimately for the first time as a source of undeniable satisfaction.
But then Pihu's senses returned, and she attempted to extricate herself from Rudra's grip. Yet, he tightened his hold, leaning close to her ear and speaking in a cold, husky voice laden with anger, "Behave, Beautiful." Pihu gasped in shock, her eyes widening as she ceased her struggle, cowed by the weight of his threat. She averted her gaze from his piercing stare, feeling a surge of nervousness that he could see into the depths of her soul, choosing instead to look downward.
Rudra couldn't help but chuckle at Pihu's reaction, his amusement intertwined with a commanding tone as he instructed, "Look at me beautiful, as I don't like to repeat myself." Compelled by his forceful words, Pihu reluctantly met his gaze, and their eyes locked in a powerful and intense exchange. His eyes held a mix of admiration for the angelic creature before him and a hint of madness that instilled fear deep within her soul.
In his deep, husky voice, Rudra confessed, "Love, you look breathtaking. I want to admire you for a lifetime, as one night is far too short. I want to whisk you away and hide you from the world, so that not even your shadow can be seen."
By hearing Rudra confession, Pihu experienced a terror unlike any she had known before, surpassing even her fears of Rudra discovering her involvement with the police. His words unveiled the depths of his madness, obsession, and possessiveness in a single breath. All she yearned for now was to escape this situation, but her legs felt weak, her breathing uneven as she struggled to compose herself and resist the urge to flee.
As the minutes stretched on, the dance between Pihu and Rudra reached its conclusion, but the presence of Rudra never wavered from Pihu's consciousness. Every step she took, she could feel his intense gaze piercing through her, sending chills down her spine as she is looking downward whole time. With the dance finally coming to an end, Pihu's instincts took over, and without a second thought, she broke free from Rudra's hold, running away from him as fast as her trembling legs could carry her.
Shivani, ever watchful and attuned to the nuances of their interactions, observed the tension between Rudra and Pihu. Sensing that something was amiss, she swiftly followed her friend, determined to offer support and comfort. Together, they sought solace in a quieter corner of the party, away from the prying eyes and the palpable presence of Rudra.
As they caught their breath, Pihu's heart raced, her mind consumed by a whirlwind of fear, confusion, and a deepening sense of unease. Shivani, concerned for her friend, gently placed a hand on her shoulder, offering reassurance. "Pihu, what just happened? Are you okay?"
Pihu's voice quivered as she attempted to explain, her words tinged with both disbelief and a newfound clarity. "Shivani, I-I âI ,Rudra just confessed his feelings indirectly, and I saw madness and obsession in his eyes. Let's go, I am very scared."
Shivani's eyes widened, a mixture of shock and concern filling her gaze. She understood the gravity of Pihu's words and the urgent need to remove themselves from the toxic environment. "Okay, Let's go."
As they swiftly made their way towards the exit of the hall, a sudden collision occurred. A girl, lost in her own world, bumped into Shivani, causing a cascade of juice to spill onto her dress. Shivani gasped in surprise, feeling the wetness seep through the fabric.
The girl, with a panicked expression, began apologizing profusely. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you. Let me help you clean it up."
Shivani, her mind focused on the urgency of their situation, quickly dismissed the girl's apology. "It's fine, don't worry about it. We really need to leave now."
However, the girl insisted on making amends, so she requested Shivani to come to the restroom with her so she could help her in cleaning. Shivani, her patience running thin, finally relented, allowing the girl to assist her in the hasty cleanup, as Pihu also insisted on cleaning up first.
"I'll be waiting here for you, Shivani," Pihu said, her voice filled with concern. Shivani nodded in response, appreciating Pihu's understanding.
As Shivani made her way to the restroom, Pihu anxiously waited, growing more restless with each passing minute. Ten minutes went by, and Shivani had still not returned. Pihu began to worry, realizing they had no means of communication as their phones were not allowed due to security reasons.
Just as she was contemplating going to the restroom to check on Shivani, Sameer, Neel's friend, approached her. He looked visibly worried as he asked, "Pihu, have you seen Neel? As you know we don't have our phones, and I've been unable to reach him."
Pihu's brows furrowed in concern as she replied, "No, I haven't seen him since the dance ended." Sameer's worry deepened as he explained, "We were supposed to go home together, but I can't find him anywhere."
Pihu pondered for a moment and then suggested, "Maybe he left and went home. You should go and check there." Sameer nodded in agreement, grateful for Pihu's suggestion, and quickly made his way towards the exit, hoping to find Neel at home.
Left alone once again, Pihu's mind raced with worry for both Shivani and Neel. She felt a sense of unease settling over her, unsure of what to do next. As she moved towards the restroom, suddenly a waiter approached her, addressing her by name. Pihu nodded in response, curious about what he had to say.
"Ma'am, your friend asked me to deliver a message to you," the waiter said, his voice filled with urgency. "She said she's calling for you in the garden area," he continued, pointing towards a gate that led to the outdoor space.
Pihu's brow furrowed with confusion. Why would Shivani be calling her to the garden? She hadn't mentioned anything about it before. Nevertheless, Pihu's concern for her friend overrode her confusion. She decided to trust Shivani's message and assumed that there must be a reason for her to be there. With a curt nod to the waiter, Pihu made her way towards the garden, hoping to find Shivani there.
As Pihu approached the gate, a sense of trepidation washed over her. The garden appeared dark, its dark atmosphere contrasting sharply with the lively ambiance of the party. Pihu scanned her surroundings, searching for any signs of Shivani. Her heart raced, and her senses heightened as she ventured further into the garden, her footsteps barely making a sound on the cobblestone path.
As Pihu called out Shivani's name in a shaky voice, she continued to move cautiously through the dimly lit garden. The scent of various flowers filled the air, predominantly that of roses. She strained her eyes to pierce through the darkness, searching for any signs of her friend.
As Pihu collided with something, her heart skipped a beat. She quickly regained her balance and turned her attention to the obstruction in front of her.It is.................................
