Chapter 103
The Love From Vengeance
103 LEFT IN WHIRL LUKEâS POV âI see. And how long has he been waiting?â I asked Marcus.
âWell, it had been a few minutes. And I tried telling him that you didnât want to be disturbed. But he kept on insisting that he wants to speak with you.â
I stood still, silent for seconds, processing his words. Of course, I knew Lucifer was the one who wanted to see me. Our business had not been over yet, and I just wished it was.
He was the one who called me at the mall today, and we had to discuss a lot of things, prompting the conversation to be a longâlasting one. He brought a lot of nonsense out of his mouth, talking about my loved ones who were no more, and it sparked an anger right inside of me.
I wanted nothing to do with him again, and he could keep his goddamn information to himself.
Ariel glanced at me, her body still covered in flour. And the face she made was so funny, that I wanted to laugh at her. Well, I decided to hold it.
âGo hit the shower,â I told her, before leaving the kitchen. Marcus walked behind 1. me.
I marched to the door, burning with rage. And whatever that guy had to tell me. He could keep it to himself. His intense passion for money had spawned him to do shit, spit nonsense, and to be moved by lunacy. Well, he could go dwell in the sewers for all I care.
I walked to the gate, and I opened it. I couldnât see anyone standing there. The area was just void, no single soul passing by. I wondered were this guy was. It seemed like his fear had overshadowed him, and he had finally disappeared. If that was the case, then he had some senses.
âI canât see him anywhere,â Marcus said, looking around. His finger pointed to a part of the ground. âHe was right here.â
I let out a deep sigh. âI guess heâs gone.â
âBut with his words, he seemed determined to have a conversation with you.â
âOh, Marcus. We canât actually understand some certain people. Theyâre just crazy.â
Just then, I felt a hand on my back, and I quickly turned around. It was Lucifer, or whatever his concrete name was.
Of course, he was dressed in his normal outfit, and it had me wondering if ever took those off.
âLuke Reynold. I thought you werenât going to show up,â he spoke.
âWell Iâm here now. So whatever it is, you have to say, tell me now.â
He cleared his throat, and I totally understand that.
I turned Marcus. âYou can leave now.â
âOkay sir,â he nodded, and made his way through the gate.
I gave Lucifer my attention once again. âWill you ever get tired of this nonsense. Why are you acting like youâre obsessed with me?â
He laughed. âThereâs no need to flatter yourself. No oneâs obsessed with you.â
âThen why do you keep on carrying out this bullshit?â I gave him the noâfriendly face.
âIâm only trying to help you.â
âWell I donât need your help,â I retorted. âYou can keep your information to yourself. Itâs going to be of no use to me.â
âWho told you that?â
âNo one,â I replied coldly. âBut itâs something I had to realize.â
âTrust me Luke Reynold, youâre going to be so surprised when I give you this information. Youâll need it.â
âI told you already. Keep that shit to yourself.â
He fixed his hand on my shoulder. âThereâs no need for you to start being harsh and making rash decisions.â
âRash decisions?â I glared at him. âIt seems like you donât know how crazy you look, right now.â
âYes, Iâm a little bit crazy. But I have a purpose around here, to show you the truth.â
âWith money!â I responded bitterly. âMoney is your only purpose here.â
âI think thatâs everyoneâs purpose in life.â
âNo,â I spoke beneath my breath, shaking my head. âYour case is different.â
He laughed. âOh Luke Reynold. You can be really funny sometimes.â
10 LDT âGet your hand off me.â I gave him a threatening glare.
âYou need toâ¦.â
I interrupted him, seizing his hand, and tossing him to the ground. As he stood up, I seized his hoodie and gave him a hard punch on his face. He fell down.
âThatâs for insulting my mother!â I yelled at him, and gave him another vigorous punch.
Still giving him the death stare, I watched as he leisurely rose from the ground, trying to catch his breath.
âYou had to disrespect my mother, whoâs in the grave! How dare you?!â I forcefully kicked him, and he fell down again.
âI never said anything wrong,â he said, breathing heavily, as he struggled to get to his feet. âIf only you knew about your motherâs true colors, you wouldnât be doing this right now.â
âMy motherâs true colors? What do you mean by that?â I asked, totally confused of what he was talking about.
He laughed, fixing his gaze on me. âI donât think I have to talk much.â
âYou better start talking.â I moved closer to him, and before I knew it, he strenuously hit my balls. The next thing I received, was a punch in the stomach, and two other tremendous strikes followed after that.
I found myself sitting on my heels, in pain. It took quite a minute before the pain lessened, and when my eyes went upwards, I saw Lucifer getting in close proximity to me, and he had this rod in his hand. I clearly had no idea how he got that.
He got closer, and what happened next? He slammed my head with the rod, causing me to fall down.
Everywhere slowly turned black.
I opened my eyes to see myself laying down in my room. After scanning everywhere, I sat on the bed, gently kneading my head, as I could still feel some pain from that vigorous strike.
After letting out a sigh, I laid back on the bed, closing my eyes. And then, Ariel came out of the bathroom, with a towel girdled around her body. Her hair was wet, since she had just gotten out of the shower. And she was humming.
Her tone was really beautiful, and at the moment, I didnât want to listen to anyone else except for her. I meant, her congenial hum.
She moved closer to the mirror, gently brushing her hair. And as she turned EFT IN WHIRL AJA around, I quickly closed my eyes, pretending like I was still unconscious.
It took me quite some seconds before I slowly opened one of my eyes, and I realized she had her gaze fixed on me. I closed my eyes back, but then I heard her laughing.
âCome on now, Luke. You donât have to keep up with that.â
I ignored her, acting like I was still insensible. But then I felt some fingers reaching for my groin. I opened my eyes that very moment, and seized her hand like a arrow from a bow.
She started laughing, and pulled her hand off mine, shifting backwards. âI knew you were going to do that.â
I did nothing but observe her. Well, it wasnât actually surprising since this lady was crazy from day one.
