Chapter 356
The Love From Vengeance
356: BRAVE LUKKâS POV The man came at me again, but this time I was ready. I blocked his punch and landed a few more of my own. We were now in the middle of the club, attracting a small crowd. But I didnât care; I only thought about protecting that young lady.
We continued to exchange blows, but finally, I managed to knock the man down with a powerful punch.
I stood there, catching my breath, and then the lady approached me, tears streaming down her face.
âThank you so much. I didnât know what to do.â
I gave her a reassuring smile and said, âItâs okay, youâre safe now.
The crowd around us erupted into cheers and applause. Daniel came up to me with a proud look on his face and said, âI canât believe you took down that guy. Youâre like a superhero, man.
I laughed. âWhat can I say, man? I canât stand by and watch that lady suffer. Sheâs too pretty for that.
And by the way, that manâs an idiot.â
The lady wiped her tears and offered her hand to me. âIâm Sarah, by the way.âThank you for helping me.â
I took her hand and replied, âIâm glad I could assist, Sarah. Are you alright? âDo you need any medical attention?â
Sarah shook her head, still a bit shaken but able to manage a faint smile. âI think Iâll be okay. Thank you again.â
Just then, the bouncer arrived, assessing the situation. âIs everything under control here?â
Daniel stepped forward, nodding. âYeah, everythingâs fine now. This guy,â he gestured towards the nowâsubdued troublemaker, âwonât be causing any more problems.â
The bouncer nodded approving and signaled for security to escort the man out. As the commotion settled, Daniel turned to me with a grin. âYou really saved the day, mate. That wedible.â
I shrugged. âJust doing what anyone would do in that situation.â
Sarah stepped closer, looking grateful. âThank you again. I donât know what would have hargement if you hadnât dipped in I waved off her gratitude, offering a trawring erite âNo need to thank me just take care of yourself, strigħa?â

chuckled, feeling a mix of exhaustion and accomplishment. âThanks, man. It was a spurâof the moment thing, but I couldnât just stand by and watch.â
Daniel nodded, his expression turning more serious. âYeah, I get that. You did the right thing, Luke.
Sarahâs lucky you were here.â
I ran a hand through my hair, still processing everything that had just happened. âYeah, Iâm just glad sheâs okay. That guy was out of control.â
We continued to talk, the music in the club thumped on, and the atmosphere slowly returned to normal.
Daniel clapped me on the shoulder again, breaking me out of my thoughts. âWell, cheers to you, mate.
Youâre a hero tonight.â
I grinned, raising my glass in acknowledgment. âCheers, Dan. But letâs hope the rest of the night is a bit less eventful.â
We clinked our glasses together, settling in to enjoy the rest of the evening. A captivating rhythm filled the club, drawing our attention to the stage, where a stunning woman began to dance. Her movements were mesmerizing, commanding the attention of everyone in the room.
Daniel nudged me with his eyes fixed on the woman. âLuke, would you look at that? Sheâs absolutely gorgeous.
â
I followed his gaze, nodding in agreement. âYeah, sheâs a great dancer too.â
༠à½à½¼ã ༼2 Lin closer, his voice filled with admiration. âI canât take my eyes off her. Sheâs like an angel on that stage.â..
I chuckled, knowing Danielâs penchant for beautiful women. âYouâre not wrong, mate. But remember, weâre just here to enjoy the night, not to get into any more trouble.â
256 BRAVE He grinned, momentarily tearing his gaze away from the woman, âOh, come on, Luke. Can you blame me for appreciating beauty when I see it?â
I shook my head, a smile playing on my lips. âNo, I canât blame you. Just donât let it distract you too much.â
Danielâs gaze remained fixed on the woman dancing on stage. His eyes gleamed with goddamn confidence, and I knew what was coming before he even said it.
âLuke,â he whispered. âI think Iâm going to go talk to her.â
I shot him a cautious glance, my voice low but urgent. âAre you sure thatâs a good idea, Dan? We just had a whole ordeal back there. Letâs not stir up any more trouble.â
He waved off my concerns, his grin widening. âCome on. Whatâs the worst that could happen? Iâll just go introduce myself and maybe buy her a drink. Itâll be fine.â
I sighed. âAlright, but be careful, okay? âWe donât know anything about her, and things can escalate quickly in places like this.â
He nodded. âDonât worry, Luke. Iâve got this.â
I watched him as he walked to the lady. She had just finished dancing, and now they had started their conversation.
Still sitting down, a lady approached me. She had long, brunette hair cascading down her back and was wearing a stunning black dress that showed off her ample cleavage.
I couldnât help but notice her striking features, including a pierced nose that added to her edgy and alluring aura. She immediately drew my attention, leaving me unable to look away. She exuded confidence and beauty, and I felt a strong pull towards her. At this point, I was wondering what she would say or do next.
âHey there,â she said with a coy smile, her voice smooth and alluring. I couldnât help but notice you sitting here all alone. Would you mind if I joined you?â
I blinked, momentarily taken aback by her forwardness, but quickly regained my composure. âUh, sure, go ahead,â I replied, gesturing to the empty seat across from me.
She slid gracefully into the chair, her piercing gaze locking onto mine. âIâm Camila,â she introduced herself, extending her hand toward me.
ker hand, feeling a jolt of electricity shoot through me at her touch. âIâm Luke,â I replied, trying to maintain a semblance of composure.
âItâs nice to meet you, Luke,â she purred, her lips curving into a seductive smile. âSo, what 356: BRAVE brings you to a place like this tonight?â
I hesitated, not quite sure how much to reveal to this mysterious woman. âJust out with a friend, trying to unwind after a long week,â I finally replied, opting for a vague answer.
Camila nodded, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. âAh, I see. Well, Iâm glad fate brought us together tonight.â
âSay what now?â I asked, raising an eyebrow.
âWhat do you do for a living?â
I gave her a confused look. âUhmm, excuse me?â
âYes, whatâs your job? You know, I donât hang around with broke guys. Theyâre not worth my time. And theyâre not worthy of having sex with a lady like me.â
âOh, I see. In that case, you should leave. Because Iâm the perfect definition of broke.â
She gaped at me. âOh my god, are you for real?â
