(Rudraksh)

Ruhanika: "Akshhhh, rukiye."

(Akshhhh, Stop)

Hearing Ruhanika’s urgent call, Rudraksh stopped in his tracks, turning towards her with wide, startled eyes. His gaze quickly shifted to her as he noticed the concern etched on her face, her brows furrowed, and her eyes squeezed shut as if she was bracing herself for something terrible. His heart skipped a beat. When she cautiously opened her eyes and realized that he had stopped just in time, she exhaled in relief. Without a second thought, Ruhanika hurried down the stairs, determined to reach him, her pace quickening as her concern took over. But in her haste, her foot caught on the edge of a step, and she tripped. Before she could even register what was happening, Rudraksh was already in motion. In the blink of an eye, he moved toward her, his arms wrapping around her waist securely, pulling her into his chest before she could fall. The strength and swiftness of his embrace held her steady, preventing what could’ve been a nasty tumble. Ruhanika found herself pressed tightly against him, her breathing uneven as the adrenaline surged through her. For a moment, the world around them seemed to blur, her heart racing not only from the near fall but from the intensity of the moment. Rudraksh, his face now inches from hers, gazed down at her with both relief and concern flickering in his eyes. His grip remained firm, ensuring she was safe in his arms.

Ruhanika looked up at Rudraksh, her heart still racing from the close call, and gently moved a little further away from the slick floor, guiding him with her. Her eyes flickered down to the floor, inspecting it for any more danger, but Rudraksh wasn't paying attention to the floor at all. He was completely captivated by her. His gaze was locked on her, lost in the details—the innocent, doe-like hazel eyes, the soft glow of her clear face, and how her open hair framed her features so perfectly. The way she had urgently called his name echoed in his mind, stirring something deep within him. There was a softness, a protectiveness in the way he looked at her, admiring the quiet strength and concern she had just shown for him. When she glanced back at him, her face was more serious now. To his surprise, she scolded him for the first time.

Ruhanika: "Akshh, kya karte hai aap, dekh ke chala kijiye na aise toh abhi gir jaate aap, aapko chot lag jaati na. Khayal rakha kijiye na."

( Aksh, what are you doing? Walk carefully, you almost fell. You could’ve gotten hurt. Please take care of yourself.)

She spoke to him in a voice that blended worry with a hint of strictness, her brow furrowing slightly as she voiced her concern. But Rudraksh barely registered her words; it was as if time had frozen the moment she began to scold him. His mind momentarily blanked, captivated entirely by the sincerity in her tone and the first word she spoke, Akshh. His eyes sparkled with affection, reflecting the deep love he held for her. As Ruhanika gently tapped his chest, he felt a surge of warmth wash over him. It was as if her touch had reignited his heart, which had momentarily skipped a beat at the sound of her calling him.

Ruhanika: "Areh aap sun bhi rahe hai ki nahi, hum keh rahe hai kuch."

(Are you even listening? I’m saying something here.)

He didn’t respond again, and Ruhanika’s brow furrowed in confusion.  Just then, a servant walked into the scene, glancing between Rudraksh and Ruhanika.

Servant: "Maaf karna Ruhanika bitiya, ye subah Rishwik baba ka protein shake gir gaya tha, main bas saaf karne ki aa raha tha."

(Sorry, Ruhanika Ma'am, this morning Rishwik Sir’s protein shake spilled, I was just coming to clean it up.)

Ruhanika: "Thik hai kaka aap kar dijiye."

(It’s alright, Kaka, you can do it.)

In the days that had passed, Ruhanika had started to feel more comfortable around the staff, though she still felt a twinge of fear when faced with strangers. With the unwavering support and encouragement from her family, she was slowly adjusting to her surroundings.  As the servant began cleaning the floor, Ruhanika turned her attention back to Rudraksh. Gently, she took his hand and led him towards the couch, guiding him to sit down. Once he was settled, she knelt beside him, her brow furrowed in concern as she examined his hands and feet for any signs of injury. Her touch was soft and careful, a testament to her worry for him.

Ruhanika: "Aap kuch keh nahi rahe, chot aayi hai kya?? Hume bataiye hum dawa laga denge."

(You’re not saying anything. Did you get hurt? Tell me, I’ll put some medicine on it.)

Rudraksh: "Meri taan dawa vi tusi ho te dua vi tusi ho."

(You’re both my medicine and my prayer.)

Ruhanika: "Jii?? Dawa lagani hai??"

(What?? Do you need medicine?)

Rudraksh's trance finally broke, and a wide smile spread across his face as he looked at Ruhanika. In a burst of excitement, he quickly pulled her beside him. However, just as he did, a wave of cramps hit her, causing her to wince slightly.

Ruhanika: "Ahhh"

Rudraksh: "Ohh I'm so sorry sohneyo, lag gayi kya tumhe??"

(Oh, I’m so sorry, dear, did I hurt you?)

Rudraksh placed his hand gently over hers, seeking to inspect the source of her discomfort. However, Ruhanika instinctively placed her hand over his, a subtle gesture of reassurance and affection.

Ruhanika: "Ji nahi hum thik hai, aap bataiye kaise chalte hai aap, dekh ke chala kijiye, gir jaate abhi aap, kahi lagi toh nahi na??"

(No, no, I’m fine. But please tell me, how can you walk like that? You almost fell. Are you sure you didn’t get hurt?)

Rudraksh: "vo sab chodo, aur ye batao tumne mujhe kya bulaya abhi betu??"

(Forget all that, tell me, what did you call me just now, dear?)

Ruhanika lowered her head, biting her lip in a gesture of both nervousness and discomfort. The weight of her distress was evident, but she found solace in Rudraksh's presence. He held her hand firmly yet gently, his fingers enveloping hers as he caressed her palm with his thumb.

Rudraksh: "Bolo na jaana."

(Come on, tell me.)

Ruhanika looked at him in confusion, her brows furrowing slightly as she tried to make sense of his words.

Ruhanika: "Phir se jaana, areh kaha??"

(Are you leaving again? Where to?)

Rudraksh: "Chodo vo sab yaar batao na kya bulaya??"

(Forget about that, just tell me what you called me.)

Ruhanika: "Ji hum jante hai humne naam se bulaya na aapko, hume nahi kehna chahiye tha aisa aapko bura laga na, par vo aap ruk......"

(I know I called you by name, I shouldn’t have. You didn’t like it, right? But I just wanted you to stop...)

Rudraksh gently placed his finger on her lips, silencing her with a tender gesture. His eyes locked onto hers, filled with a mixture of affection and determination.

Rudraksh: "Jo bulaya ek baar bol do na betu."

(Just say it once more, dear.)

Rudraksh gently withdrew his finger, and Ruhanika instinctively lowered her gaze, her heart sinking as she worried that he might be upset with her. She felt a flutter of anxiety in her chest, fearing she had crossed a line.

Ruhanika: "humne aapko Akshhh bulaya tha. Hum jante hai aise nahi bulate pati ko, Nima ne bataya tha par vo k...."

(I called you Akshhh. I know we’re not supposed to address our husbands by their name. Nima told me that. But it just...)

Before she could finish her sentence, Rudraksh enveloped her in a warm, tight hug, catching her completely off guard. The suddenness of the embrace left her momentarily speechless, her thoughts scattered. Despite her confusion, she instinctively wrapped her arms around him, feeling the comfort of his presence wash over her.

Ruhanika: "Aap thik hai??"

(Are you okay?)

Rudraksh: "aaj se pehle itna thik kabhi nahi tha."

(I’ve never felt better than I do right now.)

Ruhanika: "Ji kya??"

(What??)

Rudraksh gently pulled back from their embrace, his eyes filled with affection as he cupped Ruhanika's face in his hands. He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, a tender gesture that made her heart flutter. Before she could fully comprehend what was happening, he swept her off her feet, lifting her effortlessly into his arms. Surprised laughter bubbled up from her lips as he began to twirl her around, their joyous giggles echoing in the air. Ruhanika instinctively buried her face in his neck, feeling the warmth of his skin against her cheek, which made her feel safe and cherished. Rudraksh continued to spin her around, their laughter intertwining in a sweet melody, as if the world around them faded away, leaving only the two of them wrapped in their own little bubble of happiness.

Ruhanika: "Bas kariye, chakkar sa aa raha hai."

(Stop, I’m feeling a little dizzy.)

Rudraksh quickly halted the playful twirling, gently setting her back down on the couch with a tender smile. He then took a seat beside her, his demeanor shifting as he composed himself. Taking a moment to steady his breath, he turned to Ruhanika, his expression softening.

Rudraksh: "are you okay, Sohneyo??"

Ruhanika: "Jiiii."

(Yess)

Rudraksh scanned Ruhanika from head to toe, his protective instincts kicking in as he checked to ensure she wasn't hurt. However, the innocent expression on her face betrayed a different interpretation of his scrutiny. She misread his gaze as one of anger, her heart fluttering with anxiety at the thought that she might have upset him. In an attempt to stop him, she had called him by his name but she was taught not to call husband by name.

Ruhanika: "aap gussa ho gaye humse??"

(Are you mad at me?)

Rudraksh leaned closer, his eyes filled with warmth and affection, and gently pressed a soft kiss to Ruhanika's forehead.

Rudraksh: "Tuhade te gussa karna hun mere bas di gal nahi rahi, sohneyo."

(Getting mad at you isn’t something I’m capable of anymore, dear.)

Ruhanika: "Gal?? Ha hum girl hi toh hai"

(Girl?? Oh, but I’m a girl.)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, a warm smile spreading across his face as he adjusted his position, pulling her into his embrace. He wrapped his arms securely around her shoulders, providing a sense of safety and comfort. Ruhanika looked up at him, her gaze filled with curiosity.

Ruhanika: "Maaf kar dijiye dobara nahi bolenge vo.."

(I’m sorry, I won’t call you by name again.)

Rudraksh: "Shhhhh"

Rudraksh leaned in closer, the warmth of his presence enveloping Ruhanika as he gently placed his finger on her lips. The tender gesture silenced her, drawing her full attention to him. His gaze softened, conveying a mix of affection and reassurance, as if he were urging her to embrace the moment without worry.

Rudraksh: "Bolti bahaut ho tum Ruhh, aur jo bolna chahiye vo itna late bola. "

(You talk so much, Ruhanika, and the thing you should have said, you said so late.)

Rudraksh could sense the connection intensifying as he looked into Ruhanika's eyes, her gaze unwavering and filled with curiosity. He felt her gentle breath brush against his face, a warm reminder of the closeness they shared. The air between them felt electric, charged with unspoken words and emotions. Each breath she took seemed to sync with his heartbeat, creating a rhythm that drew them even closer. In that moment, the world outside faded away, leaving just the two of them suspended in their own little bubble of intimacy.

Rudraksh: "Ye masoom chehra banana band karo, aur ab se mujhe Aksh hi bulana samjhi??"

(Stop making that innocent face, and from now on, just call me Aksh, alright?)

Ruhanika gently grasped Rudraksh's hand and pulled it away from her lips.

Ruhanika: "Areh nahi hum kaise.."

(No, how can I...)

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, please betu mujhe achcha lagega agar tum mujhe Aksh bulaogi toh, bulaogi na??"

(Ruhh, please dear, it’ll make me happy if you call me Aksh. Will you do it?)

He leaned in even closer, his voice a low whisper that sent a thrill through her.  Ruhanika felt a rush of shyness wash over her as she lowered her head, a soft blush creeping across her cheeks. A shy smile spread across her lips, betraying the warmth that blossomed in her chest. The way he looked at her made her heart race, and in that moment, she couldn’t help but feel giddy and alive. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, her heart fluttering at the intimacy of the moment, unsure of how to respond but completely captivated by his presence.

Ruhanika: "Ji bulayenge, aapko achcha lagega toh hum zarur bulayenge. Pata nahi Nima ne kyu mana kiya tha."

(Yes, if it makes you happy, I’ll do it. But I don’t know why Nima told me not to.)

Rudraksh: "Vo unke zamane ki baat hai betu, ab ye sab nahi hota, okay??"

(That was from her time, dear. Things aren’t like that anymore, okay?)

Ruhanika: "Okay Akshh."

She tilted her head, her grin wide and infectious, lighting up her entire face. Rudraksh couldn't help but smile back, his heart swelling with affection. He reached out playfully, poking her dimples, which made her giggle softly. As his fingers brushed against her cheeks, he felt a warmth radiating between them.

Ruhanika: "Jitni baar aap humare gaalon ko dabate hai na Aksh, ek din ched ho jayega isme."

(Every time you pinch my cheeks, Aksh, one day you’re going to leave a hole in them.)

Ruhanika and Rudraksh both chuckled at her words, their laughter ringing through the room like music.

Rudraksh: "Toh kya tumhe nahi pasand?? Nahi Karu aisa??"

( So, you don’t like it? Should I stop?)

Ruhanika: "Areh humara vo matlab nahi tha. Hume pasand hai."

(No, no, that’s not what I meant. I like it.)

She spoke a little shyly, lowering her head once more to hide her blushing cheeks and the shy smile that danced on her lips. Rudraksh noticed her demeanor, his heart swelling with affection for her adorable bashfulness. He cherished the way her cheeks turned a lovely shade of pink, finding it irresistibly endearing. Understanding her need for a gentle approach, he decided not to tease her further, instead choosing to savor the moment in silence.

Rudraksh: "Okay toh Jaan-e-aksh, Chaliye aapka nashta taiyaar hai."

(Okay, so my dear queen of Aksh, come on, your breakfast is ready.)

Ruhanika, somewhat lost in her thoughts, didn’t fully register his words. Instead, she instinctively reached for his hand, and held it.

Ruhanika: "Suniye na"

(Listen...)

Rudraksh: "Kahiye na"

(Tell me.)

Ruhanika: "Hume phir se vahi hua"

(It happened again.)

Rudraksh's expression shifted to one of concern as he gently cupped Ruhanika's face in his hands. His thumbs brushed against her cheeks, and he leaned in slightly, searching her eyes for any signs of discomfort.

Rudraksh: "Areh phir se?? Kya hua meri Ruhh ko?? Kahi lag gayi kya??"

(Happened again? What happened to my Ruhh? Did you get hurt?)

Ruhanika: "Nahi nahi"

( No, no.)

Rudraksh: "Phir??"

(Then what?)

Ruhanika: "hume phir se vahi gudgudi huyi pet me vo titliya udne wali."

(It’s that tickling feeling in my stomach again, like butterflies flying.)

Rudraksh thought he shouldn't tease her any further, as she was unknowingly asking questions that would make it hard for him to explain but he also knew that her curiosity could lead to awkward conversations he wasn’t prepared for. As he continued to gaze at her, lost in thought, Ruhanika shook his hand gently, breaking the spell of silence.

Ruhanika: "Bataiye na"

(Tell me, what is it?)

Rudraksh snapped back to reality and turned his gaze away from Ruhanika, taking a moment to gather himself.

Rudraksh: "Betu bataya toh tha kal nahi nayi shadi me hota hai aisa."

(Dear, I told you yesterday, it happens in newlyweds.)

Ruhanika: "Par humari shadi ko toh 1 mahina ho gaya, aur hume aise baar baar kyu hota hai??"

( But it’s been a month since our wedding, why do I keep feeling this way?)

Rudraksh gently cupped Ruhanika's face in his hands, his touch soft and reassuring. A warm smile spread across his lips, reflecting the affection and care he felt for her. He wanted her to know that no matter the complexities of her feelings, he was there for her, ready to support and cherish every moment they shared together.

Rudraksh: "Sohneyo, abhi Mujhe bhookh lag rahi hai, kya hum nashta kar lein?? Phir baadme baatein kare please??"

(Dear, I’m feeling hungry right now. Can we have breakfast first and then talk later, please?)

Ruhanika: "Areh aap please mat boliye, hum manenge aapki baat, par humne nashta banaya nahi hai abhi tak."

(Oh, please don’t say “please,” I’ll listen to whatever you say. But I haven’t made breakfast yet.)

Rudraksh: "Tumhe zarurat bhi nahi hai, maine banaya hai tumhare liye aur tum sirf araam karogi, aur abhi bhi dard hai kya??"

(You don’t have to, I made it for you, and all you need to do is rest. Does it still hurt?)

Ruhanika: "Itna nahi bas halka halka hai."

(Not much, just a little.)

Rudraksh: "Okay, chalo nashta kar lo, phir main hot water bag rakh dunga, aur tum phir so so Jana."

(Okay, have breakfast first, then I’ll get you a hot water bag, and you can sleep.)

Ruhanika: "Lekin phir dopehar ka khana??"

(But what about lunch?)

Rudraksh: "Ruuhhhh"

Ruhanika: "Areh phir bhabhi sa hume kaam chor samjhengi."

(Otherwise, bhabhi-sa will think I’m lazy.)

Rudraksh: "Bhabhi sa kya samjhengi vo pata hai, lekin main jo samjha raha hu vo nahi samajh raha tumhe?? Kaha na sirf araam karna hai."

(I don’t care what bhabhi-sa thinks. I care about what I’m telling you right now, which you don’t seem to understand. I said you’re only going to rest.)

Ruhanika: "Areh par..."

(But...)

Rudraksh: "Betuuu, chalo pehle toh tum."

(Dear, let’s go, first.)

He gently guided Ruhanika to the dining table, helping her settle comfortably in her chair before serving her breakfast. As he placed a plate filled with delicious food in front of her, Ruhanika looked up at him, her brow furrowed in confusion.

Rudraksh: "Ki Hoya??"

(What happened?)

Ruhanika: "Ye kya hai?? Kya banaya hai aapne?? Kya thepla hai? Thoda jal gaya hai na??"

(What is this? What did you make? Is this Thepla? It’s a little burnt, isn’t it?)

Rudraksh looked at her.

Ruhanika: "Koi baat nahi aapne banaya hai na itne man se, hum kha lenge."

(But it’s okay, you made it with so much love, I’ll eat it.)

Ruhanika smiled at him and Rudraksh chuckled softly. He couldn't resist the urge to poke her dimples, which always made her giggle.

Rudraksh: "Thepla nahi, pancakes hai. Din bhar meetha khana rehta hai na tumhe isiliye meetha breakfast banaya hai."

(It’s not Thepla, it’s pancakes. You love sweets all day, so I made you a sweet breakfast.)

Ruhanika: "Meethaaaaa"

(Sweeetttt...)

Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle at the way Ruhanika's eyes sparkled with delight at the thought of indulging in something sweet. Her innocent excitement always warmed his heart, reminding him of the simple joys that brought them together. Her enthusiasm was adorable, and he chuckled to himself, thinking about how much she loved indulging her sweet tooth. He settled beside her, picking up the first piece of the sweet treat and offering it to her. As she closed her eyes to savor the taste, a look of pure bliss washed over her face. The sweetness melted on her tongue, and she let out a soft sigh of contentment, fully immersed in the moment. Rudraksh watched her with a fond smile, feeling a sense of happiness in being able to bring her such joy.

Ruhanika: "Ummmm, ye toh kitna achcha hai."

(Mmm, this is so good!)

Rudraksh: "Pasand aaya??"

(Do you like it?)

Ruhanika: "Ji bahaut, vo cake se bhi achcha hai."

(Yes, very much. It’s even better than cake.)

Rudraksh: "Hayyy, chalo ji, Mallika-e-Aksh nu pasand aaya, matlab sach me changa hai!"

(Oh wow, the queen of Aksh likes it, which means it’s really good!)

Ruhanika grasped the meaning behind his words, a wave of shyness washing over her as she processed the endearing tone he used. The warmth in his voice made her cheeks flush, and she instinctively lowered her head, a playful smile tugging at her lips. As she fidgeted with her dupatta, her fingers danced nervously along the fabric, adding to her charm.

Rudraksh: "Ki ho.... I mean kya hua Sohneyo??"

(What happened... I mean, what’s wrong, dear?)

Ruhanika: "Kuch puche hum aap se??"

(Can I ask you something?)

Rudraksh: "Main hota kaun hu aapko mana karne wala??"

(Who am I to refuse you?)

Ruhanika: "Areh aap pati hai humare, bhul gaye kya aap??"

(You’re my husband, did you forget?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with affection as he gently patted her cheeks.

Rudraksh: "Nahi vo toh main kabhi nahi bhul sakta, par haa tum kitni bholi ho bhul gaya tha."

(No, I could never forget that. But yes, I did forget how innocent you are.)

Ruhanika: "Hum kitne bhole hai??"

(How innocent am I?)

She looked at him with a furrowed brow, her confusion evident in her expression as she asked her question. In response, he shook his head gently, a warm smile spreading across his face.

Rudraksh: "Kuch nahi, tum pucho kya puchna tha"

(Nothing, go ahead and ask what you wanted to.)

Ruhanika: "Vo abhi aapne hume jis naam se bulaya, toh vo sunkar hume sharam kyu aa gayi??"

(Just now, you called me by a name, and hearing it made me blush. Why?)

Rudraksh's eyes widened in disbelief once more. This girl is going to drive me mad, was the only thought racing through his mind. He felt a mix of amusement and admiration at how Ruhanika could effortlessly shift his emotions. Her innocent curiosity was endearing, and he was genuinely happy to be the one who sparked such reactions in her. But deep down, he couldn't shake the feeling of impending chaos; he knew he would soon be the one tasked with explaining the complexities of life and relationships to her. Not that he minded—he cherished every moment spent with her—but the thought of breaking down intricate concepts into something she could grasp felt daunting. He just didn’t know how to articulate those complicated yet beautiful ideas in a way that would resonate with her. Ruhanika shook his hand again.

Ruhanika: "Bataiye na."

(Tell me.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, achcha ab meri baat dhyaan se sunna thik hai."

(Ruhh, okay, listen to me carefully.)

Ruhanika nodded, still holding his hand, In response, he placed his other hand on her cheek, gently caressing it with his thumb.

Rudraksh: "Kuch cheeze hoti hai aur kuch ehsaas hote hai jo hume mehsus hote hai. Especially pati patni me, jab vo ek dusre ki taarif kare ya pass aye. Jaise tum bhi mere pass aati ho na toh main bhi sharma jaata hu."

(There are some things, some feelings, that we experience. Especially between a husband and wife, when they compliment or get close to each other. Like when you come close to me, even I feel shy.)

Ruhanika: "Par humne aapko sharmate kyu nahi dekha??"

(But I’ve never seen you feeling shy.)

Rudraksh: "Je nind vich kol aogi, taan kinne vekh paogi?"

(If you come close while I’m asleep, how will you see it?)

Rudraksh muttered under his breath and Ruhanika turned to him, her expression a mix of curiosity and confusion. She tilted her head slightly.

Ruhanika: "ji kya kaha?"

(What did you say?)

Rudraksh: "Umm main bhi sharma jata hu betu, aur ye sab na bahaut normal hai aur na bahaut pyara ehsaas hai. Tum mere pass rehti ho toh mujhe achcha lagta hai, sukoon milta hai, meri Ruhh ka sukoon hai meri Ruhh."

(Umm, even I get shy, dear. And all of this is very normal, and it’s a very beautiful feeling. When you’re close to me, I feel good, at peace. My dear Ruhh is my peace.)

Ruhanika: "Ji hume bhi aapke pass rehna pasand hai, hum toh humesha aapke pass rahenge."

(I also like being near you. I’ll always stay close to you.)

Rudraksh: "Bilkul, main tumhe jaane hi nahi dunga khud se durrr"

(Absolutely, I’m never going to let you go far from me.)

Ruhanika didn't perceive his words as mere phrases; they resonated deeply within her, feeling more like a silent promise of unwavering love, care, and respect. This understanding warmed her heart, and a genuine smile spread across her face. It was a smile that reflected her trust in him and the bond they were nurturing, a bond that reassured her she would always have a special place by his side.

Rudraksh: "Aur na dheere dheere tum khud hi samajh jaogi, aakhir samajhdar ho hai meri biwi."

(And slowly, you’ll understand it all. After all, my wife is very smart.)

Ruhanika's face lit up with a radiant grin, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she nodded in response.

Rudraksh: "Bas phir itna mat socho, jo hai jaisa hai, aake mujhe batana,, main samjha dunga, tum bas stress nahi lena, thik hai betu???"

(Just don’t overthink it. Whatever it is, just come and tell me. I’ll explain it to you. Just don’t take any stress, alright, dear?)

Ruhanika: "Ji thik hai. Achcha ab agar nashta ho gaya hai toh kya hume coffee milegi?? ?"

(Okay. Well, if breakfast is done, can I have coffee?)

Rudraksh: "Bilkul nahi."

(Absolutely not.)

Rudraksh's tone was firm, and Ruhanika couldn't help but pout in response. Her lips formed a small, cute frown as she looked up at him with wide, innocent eyes.

Ruhanika: "Kyuu Akshhhh"

(Why, Akshhh?)

Rudraksh's eyes widened in realization as he understood that his wife was trying to manipulate him, using his soft spot for her by sweetly calling him "Aksh." The playful innocence in her voice tugged at his heartstrings, and he couldn't help but feel a mix of admiration and exasperation. Ruhanika blinked her eyes at him, her big hazel eyes sparkling with mischief, and she pouted slightly, an expression that made it nearly impossible for him to resist her charm. The combination of her pout and that affectionate nickname was a potent mix, and he felt his resolve wavering. Despite his efforts to maintain a serious front, he could feel the corners of his mouth wanting to lift into a smile.

Ruhanika: "Akshhh, peene dijiye na coffee."

(Akshhh, please let me have coffee.)

Rudraksh squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, taking a deep breath to regain his composure. then he finally opened them again.

Rudraksh: "Nahi meri jaan, periods me coffee is not advisable. Tumhe aur dard hoga bachcha."

(No, dear. Coffee is not advisable during your periods. It will make the pain worse.)

Ruhanika: "Areh nahi hume dard nahi hai, hum bilkul thik hai."

(But I’m not in pain, I’m perfectly fine.)

Ruhanika spoke softly, but Rudraksh's gaze was drawn to her hand resting gently on her stomach. He raised an eyebrow, silently urging her to pay attention to the signs her body was giving her.

Rudraksh: "Ha isiliye pet pe hath rakha hai na??"

(That’s why you’ve been holding your stomach, right?)

Ruhanika looked up at him with a puppy-eyed expression, her big, innocent eyes pleading for understanding. Rudraksh couldn’t help but smile at her adorable gesture. He tenderly caressed her cheeks with his hand, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath his fingertips.

Rudraksh: "Bas kuch din, phir pee Lena. Abhi chalo kamre me coffee ki jagah dusri cheeze deta hu tumhe."

(Just for a few days, then you can have it. For now, come to the room, I’ll give you something other than coffee.)

Rudraksh stood up, ready to move, but as Ruhanika began to rise as well, he gently placed his hand on her shoulder to stop her.

Ruhanika: "Kya hua Aksh?"

(What’s wrong, Aksh?)

Rudraksh gazed at her, his heart swelling with affection. This girl, with her innocent charm, was driving him to the brink of madness every time she called him "Aksh." It was a simple nickname, yet it held a depth of emotion that made his heart race. He couldn't help but smile, feeling both exasperated and utterly captivated by her.

Ruhanika: "Boliye na"

(Tell me.)

Rudraksh smiled softly and leaned closer to her, resting his hand gently on her back. The warmth of his touch sent a flutter through her, quickening her heartbeats. His presence felt electric, and as their faces drew nearer.

Rudraksh: "Mallika-e-Aksh ko chalne ki zarurat nahi hai jab aapke pass ek pati hai jo aapki seva me hazir hai."

(The queen of Aksh doesn’t need to walk when her husband is here to serve her.)

Ruhanika's cheeks flushed a deeper shade of pink at his words, and she instinctively lowered her gaze, unable to contain her shyness. Rudraksh couldn't help but find her reaction utterly adorable, so he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, his lips lingering for a moment. With a playful grin, he then bent slightly and lifted her effortlessly into his arms, cradling her against him.

Ruhanika: "Suniye, baaki sab ne nashta nahi kiya hai, hume utar dijiye hum bana dete hai."

(Listen, no one else has had breakfast yet. Let me down, and I’ll make it for them.)

Rudraksh: "Servants bana denge aur sab kha bhi lenge, tum chinta mat karo."

(The servants will make it, and everyone will eat. You don't worry about it.)

Ruhanika: "Areh par.."

(But...)

Rudraksh: "Shhh Ruhhh, koi kuch nahi kahega, sab chahte hai tum araam Karo."

(Shhh, Ruhhh, no one will say anything. Everyone wants you to rest.)

Ruhanika smiled  as she nodded in agreement and wrapped her arms around Rudraksh's neck. With her embrace, he felt a surge of warmth and affection that made his heart flutter. As he began to ascend the stairs, he moved carefully, mindful of their balance. When they finally reached their room, he gently placed her on the bed, ensuring she was comfortable. With a tender touch, he knelt down and removed her slippers, setting them aside as if they were precious treasures.

Ruhanika: "Ab bataiye kya Dene Wale the."

(Now tell me, what were you going to give me?)

Rudraksh: "Patience, Ruhhh."

Ruhanika flashed a sheepish smile, and Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle at her expression. He reached for a small stash of dark chocolates he had set aside for her, and as he presented them, her eyes lit up with delight.

Ruhanika: "Ye bhi toffeeya hai na"

(These are toffees, right?)

Rudraksh: "Ha chocolates hai, par dark chocolates hai, thodi kadvi lagegi."

(Yes, they're chocolates, but dark chocolate. It might taste a little bitter.)

Ruhanika scrunched her nose and made a yucky face at the dark chocolates, clearly unimpressed.

Ruhanika: "Chocolate hai toh kadvi kaise ho sakti hai?? Hume nahi khana."

( How can chocolate be bitter? I don’t want to eat it.)

Rudraksh settled down beside her.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, thik hai mat khana par man kare toh kha lena, dard Kum hota hai isse."

(Ruhh, alright, don't eat it, but if you feel like it later, try it. It helps reduce the pain.)

She just nodded, making a mental note to avoid eating the dark chocolate, despite her love for sweets. Meanwhile, Rudraksh stood up again and put the hot water bag on charge. Once it was ready, he gently placed it on Ruhanika's abdomen, ensuring it was comfortable against her skin.

Rudraksh: "Sohneyo, ab tum araam Karo main fresh hoke aata hu."

(My dear, now you rest for a while. I’ll freshen up and come back.)

Ruhanika nodded, feeling the warmth of the hot water bag soothe her discomfort. As Rudraksh stepped into the closet to pick out his clothes, she glanced around the room, searching for something to occupy her mind. Boredom began to creep in, and her gaze landed on the dark chocolates sitting on the bedside table.

Ruhanika: "Thoda chakh le kya hum."

(Should I try a little bit?)

After a spirited debate with herself, Ruhanika finally gave in and took a bite of the dark chocolate. Her initial reactions were comical; she scrunched her nose and made a myriad of faces as the rich, bittersweet flavor hit her palate. Yet, as she continued to nibble, her expressions softened, and she slowly began to enjoy the taste. By the time Rudraksh returned, she had polished off half of the chocolate bar, her cheeks smeared with remnants of her earlier struggle. As he walked into the room and caught sight of her, a warm chuckle escaped his lips. He settled down beside her.

Rudraksh: "Itna pasand aaya??"

(Do you like it that much?)

Ruhanika nodded excitedly, her smile widening as she eagerly reached for the chocolates.

Rudraksh: "Achcha chalo ab thoda sa araam kar lo. Let jao Sohneyo."

(Alright, now rest for a bit. Lie down, my dear.)

Ruhanika: "Suniye na, hume kuch kehna hai."

(Listen, I need to say something.)

Rudraksh: "Sunaiye na hume aapko sunna hai."

(I'm listening; I want to hear you.)

Ruhanika's cheeks turned a slight shade of red, but she held his gaze with a shy smile and said.

Ruhanika: "Vo hume aapse maafi mangni thi."

(I wanted to apologize to you.)

Rudraksh: "Kis baat ki maafi betu??"

(Apologize? For what?)

Ruhanika: "Vo kal raat hume phir se sapna aaya aur hum Darr Gaye."

(Last night, I had a nightmare again, and I got scared.)

Rudraksh's heart raced with panic as he instinctively reached out to hold her.

Rudraksh: "Areh, toh uthaya kyu nahi mujhe?? Thik ho tum ab yellow??"

(Why didn’t you wake me up? Are you okay now?)

He began to question her, but she quickly interrupted him.

Ruhanika: "Baat toh suniye humari."

(Please listen to me.)

Rudraksh gazed at her, his eyes softening as he continued to hold her close.

Ruhanika: "hum thik hai, aur Roz raat ko aap Darr ke humare gale lag jate hai,, toh kal raat hume bhi aapki tshirt me bheetar jaakar so Gaye. Nima hume apne pallu me Sula deti thi, isiliye humne vaisa kiya, hume maaf kijiye aapko bura laga ho toh."

(I’m fine. Every night, when you get scared, you hold me close, so last night, I tucked myself inside your shirt and slept. Nima used to put me to sleep in her pallu, that’s why I did that. Forgive me if you felt bad.)

Rudraksh: "Koi ullu da pattha hi hovega jidhi biwi usde kol aaye te ohnu bura lagge, te main bewakoof taan nahi haan!"

(Only a fool would feel bad when his wife comes close. And I’m no fool!)

Ruhanika: "Jii kya??"

(What did you say??)

Rudraksh: "Tum jab chaho jaha chalo aake so sakti hu Ruhh, hakk banta hai tumhara, akhir sab kuch tumhara hi toh hai, aur main bhi toh tumhara hi hu na, manti ho na mujhe apna??"

(Whenever you want, you can come and sleep close to me, Ruhh. It’s your right. After all, everything is yours—aren’t I yours too? Do you consider me your own?)

Ruhanika smiled and nodded. Rudraksh chuckled inwardly, deciding it was best not to point out that it was she who often pulled him into her embrace during the night, not the other way around. He didn't want to put any pressure on her or spoil the light-hearted atmosphere that enveloped them. Instead, he focused on making her feel comfortable and free, allowing her to express herself in her own way.

Rudraksh: "Chalo ab so jao thoda, araam rahega."

(Now go to sleep for a bit, it will be restful.)

Ruhanika: "Aapko nahi lagta aap humara itna dhyaan rakhte hai toh aap hume bigaad rahe hai??"

(Don’t you think you’re spoiling me by taking such good care of me?)

Rudraksh leaned closer, his face just inches away from Ruhanika's, his gaze locked onto her eyes with an intensity that made her heart race.

Rudraksh: "Toh kya mera hakk nahi banta apni biwi ka khayal rakhne ka, use pamper karke bigaadne ka???"

(Don’t I have the right to take care of my wife, to pamper and spoil her?)

Ruhanika felt a rush of warmth flood her cheeks as she instinctively lowered her eyes, unable to hold the intensity of his gaze any longer. With a shy smile, she placed her hand on Rudraksh's chest, gently pushing him back.

Ruhanika: "Thik hai par aap thoda dur se boliye, aise pass aate hai toh humari dhadkane tez ho jati hai, aap sun pa rahe hai na??"

(Fine, but can you please speak from a bit of a distance? When you come so close, my heart starts racing. Can you hear it?)

Rudraksh playfully tapped Ruhanika's nose, causing her to giggle softly. With gentle care, he then helped her lie down, ensuring she was comfortable against the soft pillows.

Rudraksh: "Achcha thik hai ab so jao thoda."

(Alright, fine. Now go to sleep for a while.)

Ruhanika: "Aap chod ke toh nahi jayenge na, yahi rahenge na??"

(You won’t leave, right? You’ll stay here?)

Rudraksh: "Ha meri jaan, yahi rahunga so jao ab chalo."

(Yes, my love. I’ll stay here. Now sleep.)

Ruhanika: "Vo kal ke jaise massage kar denge thoda??"

(Like yesterday, will you give me a massage again?)

Rudraksh: "Puch kyu Rahi ho Ruhh, sirf farmaish kiya karo tum."

(Why are you asking, Ruhh? You just need to ask, and I’ll do it.)

She smiled warmly at him. Rudraksh,  laid down beside her, pulling the duvet up to cover her snugly. He began to massage her abdomen gently beneath her kurti with one hand while the other worked its way to her head, kneading her scalp softly. Before long, he noticed her breathing had softened and steadied, indicating that she had drifted off into a peaceful sleep. Not wanting to disturb her serenity, he quietly shifted to sit up on the bed, careful to keep her comfortable. He reached for his laptop on the side table and opened it, ready to tackle some work. However, as he prepared to type, he felt a gentle tug on his left hand. Glancing down, he found Ruhanika still holding onto him, her small hand wrapped around his wrist. A soft smile spread across his face at the sight. It was a simple yet profound reminder of their connection. With a warm feeling in his chest, he adjusted his position and began working with just his right hand.

After a while, a gentle knock echoed through the room, though the door was slightly ajar.

Rishwik: "Bhai, suno na"

(Bro, listen up.)

Rudraksh: "Andar aa ja chote, darwaza khula hai."

(Come in, little one, the door is open.)

Rishwik came inside.

Rishwik: "Bhai vo kar...."

Rudraksh: "Shhhh."

Rishwik entered the room caught Rudraksh's eye, and with a knowing look, Rudraksh subtly gestured for him to be silent, raising a finger to his lips in a playful shushing motion.

Rudraksh: "Dheere bol Ruhh, abhi soyi hai."

(Talk slowly, Ruhh just slept)

Rishwik immediately noticed Ruhanika peacefully sleeping while clutching Rudraksh's hand. The sight made him smirk, amused by the cozy scene. However, as he looked over at Rudraksh, his expression quickly changed. Rudraksh shot him a deadly glare, his eyes narrowed and filled with a warning that made it clear he wasn't in the mood for teasing. Rishwik's smirk faded, replaced by a look of mock innocence as he raised his hands in surrender, silently acknowledging that it was best to tread lightly around his elder brother's protective instincts.

Rudraksh: "Bolega kya kaam hai."

(Will you speak now?)

Rishwik: "Areh haa, Kartavya bhai bula rahe hai. Something really important."

(Bro, Kartavya is calling you. Something really important.)

Rudraksh quickly grasped the significance of Kartavya's work, recognizing the weight it carried. He exchanged a glance with Rishwik, and a shared smirk spread across their faces, hinting at their unspoken understanding.

Rudraksh: "Chal aata hu."

(Alright, I’ll come.)

Rishwik: "haa haa, take your time, Asi intezaar kar laange."

(Yeah, yeah, take your time. We’ll wait.)

Rudraksh: "Tu jaanda hai yaan do chittar khan ton baad hi mannega?"

( You know, you’ll only stop after a couple of slaps, right?)

Rishwik: "Oh ho, dhamkiyan te utar aaye ho hun!"

(Oh ho, now you’re giving threats!)

Rishwik shot a glare at his elder brother, disappointment etched on his face, and then left the room.

Rudraksh: "Na jaane kado vadda hovega eh khotya!"

(I wonder when this fool will ever grow up!)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, shaking his head at Rishwik's antics before gently placing his laptop back on the side table. He carefully shifted his own pillow into its rightful spot, taking extra care not to disturb Ruhanika. As soon as he pulled his hand away from her grip, she instinctively hugged the pillow in its place, seeking comfort in the soft fabric. He couldn't help but smile at her cuteness as he ensured she was properly covered before quietly leaving the room. Descending the stairs, he noticed everyone was settled comfortably on the couch. Rudraksh took a seat directly opposite Kartavya.

Kartavya: "Isha, Mahiye Kritu ko please andar le jaan."

(Isha Mahiye, please take Kritu inside.)

All eyes turned to Kritika, the atmosphere thick with tension.

Savisha: "Avya, are you sure?"

Kartavya blinked his eyes. Savisha, sensing the weight of the moment, turned her gaze to Kritika, whose demeanor had shifted. Kritika lifted her head, to look at everyone. Her eyes were red.

Kritika: "Veere, please, I’m not a kid. I can handle myself, and I can punish the sinner as well."

Kartavya: "It will only hurt you, dear."

Kritika: "That’s my only punishment for letting someone ruin my life."

Rudraksh: "Your life isn’t ruined, Kriti. tu aaj bhi humari strong Kriti hai jisne use saza di jisne tere sath galat karna chaha."

(You’re still our strong Kriti, who punished the one who tried to harm you.)

Kritika: "Maine toh khudko bacha liya Rudra bhai, par us Sachet Rathore ne Ruhii ke sath bhi va...."

(I saved myself, Rudra bro. But that Sachet Rathore did the same to Ruhii too...)

Rudraksh clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white, a rush of blood suffusing his face as he fought to regain his composure. The air in the room grew thick with tension, mirroring the emotional turmoil brewing within him. He wasn't alone in this; Ashvik and Rishwik wore similar expressions of anger, their brows furrowed and eyes intense. Sensing the storm of feelings swirling around them, Kartavya stepped closer and placed a reassuring hand on Rudraksh's shoulder.

Kartavya: "Jaisa tune kaha tha, vo dono bhai behen ko India le aaye hai. Kya karne wala hai??"

(Like you said, we’ve brought both brother and sister back to India. What are you going to do?)

Rishwik, Ashvik, and Rudraksh exchanged knowing glances, a shared understanding passing between them. A smirk broke across their faces, hinting at a secret plan forming in their minds.

Rudraksh: "Arora?"

Amandeep: "Everything is ready, sir. Soon the world will know the truth."

Kartavya smirked, shaking his head in admiration at his younger brother’s sharp mind. He couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride on their cleverness. Meanwhile, Rudraksh turned his attention toward Kritika, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.

Rudraksh: "Kriti, kya mujhe bolne ki zarurat hai ya..."

(Kriti, do I need to say more, or...)

Kritika: "London me pura business akele sambhala, ab bhi aapko mujhe kuch batane ki zarurat hai??"

(I handled the entire business in London alone. Do you still think you need to explain anything to me?)

Kartavya, Rudraksh, Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep shared a moment of pride as they reflected on their sister’s accomplishments. Their smiles widened, and their hearts swelled with admiration for her determination and resilience. Meanwhile, Savisha couldn’t help but facepalm herself.

Savisha: "Stop smirking all of you.  Jado vekho planning te plotting, na jaane kithe fas gayi main. Bechari Ruhi kivein sambhalegi ehna pagal loka nu!"

(Stop smirking, all of you! Every time I look around, it’s all planning and plotting. I wonder how I got stuck with this family. Poor Ruhi—how will she manage all these crazy people?)

Rishwik: "Koi gal nahi, bhabhs! Asi Angel nu vi apne varga hi bana denge, khaaskar mere varga!"

(Don’t worry, sis-in-law! We’ll turn Angel into one of us too—especially like me!)

Rudraksh: "Meri Ruhh de kol bhatakna vi mat, oh bechari kinne pyaari hai, te tu taan Shaitaan da pehla roop hai!"

( Don’t even think about bothering my Ruhh. She’s so sweet, and you—you’re the devil incarnate!)

Rishwik shot a sharp glare at Rudraksh, his expression a mix of annoyance and playful accusation.

Lagda hai tuhade khauf di taan koi ehna nu parwaah hi nahi rahi hun!"

( Bhabhi, I can understand you. After all, I live among these crazy people too. And you know, this Kartavya bhai is always looking for opportunities to tease me. It seems like he don’t care about your fear anymore!)

Savisha: "Haa, lagda hai hun lagam launi paegi!"

(Yes, it looks like I’ll have to rein him in now!)

Savisha shot a glare at Kartavya, her eyes sparkling with mock annoyance.  Ashvik couldn’t help but giggle at the sight, his laughter ringing through the room like a joyful melody. The others watched in amusement, their grins widening as they savored this rare moment of Kartavya being put in his place. It was a delightful contrast; Kartavya, usually the bold one, suddenly seemed timid under Savisha's fierce gaze.

Kartavya: "Main vi vekhda haan aaj tu kiven bachda hai, Ashvik! Khair nahi teri, khotya!"

(I’m watching today to see how you escape, Ashvik! You're in trouble, you idiot)

Ashvik instinctively ducked behind her, using her as a shield.

Rishwik: "Veere, ruko! Main hunne popcorn leke aunda haan!"

( Bro, wait! I’ll go grab some popcorn!)

Rishwik and Amandeep celebrated with a high five, their laughter echoing in the living room. Just then, Ashvik playfully threw a pillow at Rishwik's face, prompting a glare from him that only fueled the playful banter among them. Amidst the lively chaos, Rudraksh's attention was suddenly drawn to the sound of anklets and bangles jingling softly as they descended the staircase. He turned to see Ruhanika making her way down, but her expression was anything but radiant. Concern washed over him as he quickly rose from his seat and hurried toward her. Gently, he placed his hands on her shoulders, tilting his head slightly to meet her gaze. His eyes scanned her face, searching for any signs of distress. He took a moment to assess her from head to toe, noting the way her brow was slightly furrowed and the subtle hint of distress in her usually bright hazel eyes.

Rudraksh: "Kya ho gaya Ruhh?? Uth kyu gayi, dard hai??"

(What happened, Ruhh?? Why did you get up? Are you in pain?)

Ruhanika remained silent, gently pushing Rudraksh's hand away from her shoulders, leaving him perplexed. A frown creased his brow as he studied her expression, which seemed to be a mix of annoyance and frustration. Ignoring him, she turned on her heels and moved toward the others gathered in the living room. As she approached, she took in the sight of everyone. When her gaze landed on Kartavya, a flicker of emotion crossed her face. Without hesitation, she walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace. The sudden gesture caught everyone off guard. Kartavya, surprised but immediately understanding, reciprocated her hug and gently caressed her head, his eyes filled with concern.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine, Kya hua putt, udaas lag rahi ho??"

(Little sunshine, what’s wrong, kiddo? You look sad.)

Ruhanika: "Ji bhai sa hum bahaut udaas aur niraash hai."

(Yes, bhai sa, I’m very sad and disappointed.)

Everyone exchanged puzzled glances, their expressions a mixture of confusion and surprise. Ruhanika, who typically sought comfort in Rudraksh's arms, had surprised them all by going to Kartavya this time. The shift in her behavior raised eyebrows, and whispers of curiosity spread among the group. Ashvik thought there much better something childish only. He smiled at Ruhanika, taking a glass of water from the table and taking a sip.

Kartavya: "Kyu putt, kya ho gaya??"

(Why, Kiddo? What happened?)

Ruhanika: "Hum Aksh se naraz hai thode se."

(I’m a little upset with Aksh.)

Ruhanika pointed directly at Rudraksh, her expression a mix of frustration and defiance. she exclaimed, drawing everyone's attention to her husband. The room fell silent, eyes widening in surprise as they processed her words. However, Ashvik was so taken aback that he suddenly spat the water he had just sipped, catching everyone off guard. The liquid sprayed across the room, but unfortunately for Rishwik, who was standing nearby, he was the unsuspecting target. The water splashed onto Rishwik's face, but he didn’t even blink. Instead, he stood there, completely frozen, his expression a mix of disbelief and amusement.

Rudraksh closed his eyes, fully aware of why everyone was reacting the way they were. Ruhanika, meanwhile, looked around at the stunned faces, her own expression one of confusion. She noticed Ashvik, Rishwik, and Amandeep staring at her with their eyes wide, as if frozen in place. Growing impatient, Ruhanika moved closer to them and waved her hands in front of their faces, hoping to snap them out of their trance. But no reaction came. Frowning, she poked each of their arms one by one, the gentle nudges finally breaking the spell.

Ruhanika: "Aap sabko kya ho gaya bhaiya log??"

(What’s wrong with all of you, my dear brothers??)

Rishwik: "Angel, tumne bhai ko kya bola??"

(Angel, what did you tell Rudraksh?)

Ruhanika: "Humne toh kuch nahi bola, hum toh bhai sa se baat kar rahe the."

(I didn’t say anything! I was talking to bhai sa.)

Ashvik: "Teddy, iska matlab tumne Rudraksh ko kya bulaya."

(Teddy, that means you must have called Rudraksh something.)

Ruhanika: "Humne inhe kab bulaya??"

(When did I call him??)

Amandeep: "Ruhiii, tumne sir ko kis naam se bulaya??"

(Ruhiii, what did you call sir??)

Ruhanika: "Achcha vo, vo humne Akshh. Subah humne galti se keh diya tha par inhe pasand aaya aur inhone kaha hum inhe Aksh hi bulaye."

(Oh, that! Well, I accidentally called him ‘Aksh’ this morning. He liked it and told me to call him that from now on.)

Ashvik, Rishwik, and Amandeep's expressions turned into playful smirks, exchanging glances as they silently communicated their amusement. Meanwhile, Ruhanika, lifted her dupatta and gently wiped Rishwik’s face. It was only then that Rishwik realized his face was wet, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

Rishwik: "Ye main geela kaise ho gaya??"

(How am I wet??)

Ruhanika: "Vo Ashvik bhai ne apne muh ka sara pani aap pe fek diya na."

(Well, Ashvik bhai spit all his water on you.)

Rishwik: "Whattttt??"

Rishwik narrowed his eyes and turned toward Ashvik, giving him a sharp glare.

Ashvik: "Pehle Rudraksh nu chedd lainde haan, baad vich mainu ghoor lena!"

(First, let's mess with Rudraksh, and then you can glare at me later!)

Rishwik: "Eh vi theek hai, chal Aman!"

(Fine, let's go, Aman!)

Amandeep: "Nahi, mainu meri job pyaari hai!"

(No way, I value my job too much!)

Ruhanika looked even more confused as Ashvik, Rishwik, Kritika, and Kartavya started circling Rudraksh with smirks plastered on their faces. Meanwhile, Savisha approached Ruhanika, offering her a kind smile. She placed a reassuring hand on Ruhanika’s shoulder and smiled.

Savisha: "Ab tabiyat kaisi hai Ruhi?"

(How are you feeling now, Ruhi?)

Ruhanika: "Hum thik hai bhabhi sa."

(I’m okay, bhabhi sa.)

Savisha: "Chalo achchi baat hai."

(Well, that’s good.)

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa, ye sab Ghar wale inke irt girt kaise kyu chakkar laga rahe hai??"

(Bhabhi sa, why is everyone circling around him??)

Savisha: "Kyuki pareshan kar rahe hai vo sab Rudraksh bhai ko"

(Because they’re all trying to bother Rudraksh bhai.)

Rudraksh, clearly annoyed by the teasing, glanced at his siblings with narrowed eyes. Ruhanika, still confused, gave Savisha another look, which only made her chuckle more.

Rudraksh: "Ms. Kritika Khurana, I’m still the chairperson of the business you run like a queen."

Kritika: "aye meri deal sign huyi ki nahi, check karke aati hu phone kaha gaya mera."

(Wait, has my deal been signed yet? Where’s my phone? I need to check.)

Kritika pretended to search for her phone and dashed into her room. Savisha chuckled at her antics, but Ruhanika still didn’t understand what was going on.

Rudraksh: "Even now, it’s me who signs your paychecks."

Ashvik: "Aman, chal zara vo consignment aaya ki nahi check karte hai."

(Aman, let’s go check if that consignment has arrived.)

Ashvik quickly bolted out of the room with Amandeep, leaving Rudraksh raising his eyebrows in suspicion at Rishwik. In response, Rishwik simply smirked.

Rishwik: "I have your black card."

Rudraksh: "Which can’t be used without my consent."

Rishwik: "Ye Ashvik bhai mere muh pe thuk ke gaye, inki khair Nahi aaj."

(Ashvik bhai spit on my face earlier, and today he’s not getting away with it.)

Rishwik dashed after Ashvik, leaving the scene in a hurry. Now, it was Kartavya's turn to raise his eyebrows at Rudraksh, a silent exchange passing between them as if Kartavya was questioning what might happen next.

Kartavya: "Mujhe kis baat ki dhamki dega???"

(How are you gonna threaten me?)

Rudraksh: "Bhai please Ruhh ko pucho na kyu naraz hai."

(Bhai, please ask Ruhh why she’s upset.)

Kartavya: "Tujhe toh pasand nahi koi tujhe aadhe naam se bulaye."

(You don't like anyone calling you by nick your name)

Rudraksh: "Ruhh ki baat alag hai bhai"

(Ruhh is exception, brother)

Kartavya initially intended to tease Rudraksh, but seeing the genuine concern, care, and love in Rudraksh's eyes for Ruhanika made him smile instead. His teasing thoughts vanished, replaced by admiration for his brother’s deep affection.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine, akhir kyu naraz hai aap???"

(Little sunshine, why are you upset??)

Ruhanika gave Rudraksh an upset look, which left him completely unaware of the reason behind it. She pouted sadly, her eyes reflecting her disappointment. Kartavya, noticing her expression, came over, gently patted her head, and asked.

Kartavya: "bolo little sunshine kyu naraz ho tum Rudraksh se?"

(Come on, little sunshine, tell us why you’re upset with Rudraksh?)

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa, hum so rahe the aur humne inse pucha tha ki ye hume akele chod ke nahi jayenge na, inhone kaha bhi tha ki nahi jayenge phir bhi dekho chale aaye yaha, ye humesha humare sath aisa hi karte hai."

(Bhai sa, I was sleeping, and I asked him if he wouldn’t leave me alone. He said he wouldn’t, but look, he came here anyway. He always does this to me.)

Savisha and Kartavya exchanged warm smiles, trying to comfort Ruhanika. Rudraksh, although he wanted to smile at her cuteness but suppressed it for the sake of his "Ruhh." He approached her gently, cupping her face with both hands, his eyes full of concern. However, Ruhanika didn’t return his smile, still feeling upset, her pout showing she was not yet pacified.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu tum bhul gayi tumhe toh naraz hona aata hi nahi hai na."

(Ruhh, sweetheart, you’ve forgotten that you don’t even know how to be upset.)

Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai ne sikhaya hai hume, agar kisi ki koi harkat ya baat pasand nahi aaye toh usse baat nahi karni chahiye aur naraz hona chahiye."

( Rishi bhai taught me that if you don’t like someone’s behavior or words, you shouldn’t talk to them and should be upset with them.)

Kartavya: "Main keh raha haan Rudraksh, eh Rishwik taan saadi dono di shaadishuda zindagi da shani hai!"

(I’m telling you, Rudraksh, Rishwik is the villian of our married lives!)

Rudraksh: "Ise taan main chhadunga nahi, veere! Bakwaas harkatein karda rehnda hai bas!"

(I’m not going to let him go, bhai! He keeps doing nonsense things all the time!)

Savisha: "Achcha nahi hoga mere pyare bechare devar ko kuch bola toh."

(Hey, don’t say anything to my poor, sweet brother-in-law!)

Kartavya: "Mahiye??"

Savisha: "Come on now, let them have their quality time."

Savisha clasped Kartavya's shirt collar tightly and began to pull him along with her, leading him away with a playful determination. Kartavya, taken by surprise, laughed and stumbled a bit to keep up with her brisk pace, glancing back at Ruhanika and Rudraksh with a teasing smile as they disappeared down the hallway.

Kartavya: "And we should have ours, right??"

Kartavya shot a cheeky wink at Savisha before pulling her closer by the waist, both of them sharing a playful laugh as they exited together. Meanwhile, Ruhanika remained pouting, her expression still clouded with disappointment as she turned her gaze to Rudraksh. He smiled warmly, reaching out to gently caress her cheeks with his thumb, trying to soothe her.

Rudraksh: "Sohneyo??"

(Sweetheart??)

Ruhanika: "Hum aapse baat nahi kar rahe hai."

(I’m not talking to you.)

Rudraksh fought back a giggle, his lips curling into a smile as he watched Ruhanika's pouting face.

Rudraksh: "Achcha thik hai naraz raho, par Rishwik ne ye bhi bataya hoga na aap jisse naraz rehte hai vo aapko manata hai??"

(Fine, stay upset, but Rishwik must have told you that whoever you’re mad at has to make it up to you, right??)

Ruhanika: "Nahi aisa kuch nahi bola unhone."

(No, he didn’t say anything like that.)

Rudraksh: "Khotya nalayak, aadha hi kaam karda hai hamesha!"

(That idiot! He never finishes the job properly!)

Rudraksh murmured under his breath.

Ruhanika: "Ji kya??"

(What did you say??)

Rudraksh: "Jii aisa hi hota hai, aao chalo tumhe manata hu main."

(Yes, that’s just how it is. Come on, I’ll make it up to you.)

Ruhanika: "Hume?? Kaise?"

(To me?? How?)

Rudraksh: "Aise"

(Like this.)

Rudraksh lifted Ruhanika effortlessly into his arms, cradling her gently against his chest. She squealed in surprise, wrapping her arms around his neck instinctively. Rudraksh felt her warmth radiating against him, and he couldn't help but chuckle at her delighted expression.

Ruhanika: "Areh kya kar rahe hai aap? Utar dijiye hum chal lenge."

(Hey, what are you doing? Put me down! I can walk.)

Rudraksh: "Bataya toh tha Mallika-e-Aksh ko chalne ki zarurat nahi hai betu."
