(Ruhaksh)
Ruhanika had been glowing with happiness since morning. Though Rudraksh had gone to the office, Ashvik had chosen to stay home and dedicate his entire day to her. His thoughtful gestures filled her heart with joy as he showered her with attention and affection. Ashvik had brought her a collection of thoughtful gifts, each one carefully chosen to make her smile. He made it clear that he wanted to spoil his little sister, making up for the lost time over the years. From preparing her favorite meals to sitting beside her while they watched movies, Ashvik ensured she felt cherished. Ruhanika also gently placed the neck chain back around Ashvik's neck, the chain being the sole keepsake of their parents. They laughed and played games, including a session of cards where he patiently taught her the tricks. His effort to create a memorable day touched her deeply, and the bond between them felt stronger than ever. Ruhanika couldnât stop smiling, feeling lucky to have such a caring and loving brother by her side.
In the afternoon, Ashvik had to leave for the office to attend to an urgent matter regarding his project. Before leaving, he made sure Rudraksh would return home to keep Ruhanika company. When Rudraksh entered the room, he found Ruhanika sitting on the bed, her eyes glued to the laptop screen with intense focus. A soft smile tugged at his lips as he watched her, amused by how engrossed she seemed. Placing his watch on a nearby table and slipping off his blazer, Rudraksh was about to head toward the closet when Ruhanika noticed him. Her face instantly lit up with joy, and she grinned widely, her happiness contagious.
Before Rudraksh could react, she jumped off the bed and ran toward him. Without hesitation, she threw herself into his arms, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck. The force of her excitement made him lift her off the ground effortlessly, chuckling at her usual antics. It was becoming a habit of hers to leap onto him, and he found it both endearing and amusing. As he held her close, Rudraksh couldnât help but think about how much he was learning about her each day. She wasnât naturally a quiet or reserved girlâlifeâs circumstances had pushed her into that shell. Watching her small but significant displays of happiness reminded him of his goal: to ensure she lived freely, happily, and without fear.
Rudraksh: "Jaana?? "
(Sweetheart?)
Rudraksh could feel the warmth of Ruhanika's face pressing against his neck as she buried herself there. Her shyness was evident, and he couldnât help but wonder why she was reacting this way. He hadnât done anything to make her feel shy. She seemed to be lost in her emotions, and her delicate blush only made him more curious.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, maine toh kaha hi nhi kuch toh ye sharam kaisi?? Kya hua t..."
(Ruhh, I didnât say anything, so why are you feeling shy? What happened y...)
Rudraksh was in the middle of speaking when suddenly, Ruhanika leaned in and, without warning, pressed a quick, kiss to his lips. Before he could even process what had just happened, she buried her face shyly in his neck, her arms wrapped around him as if nothing unusual had occurred, her warmth sending a shiver down his spine. Rudraksh froze, his entire body going still. His eyes widened in utter shock as the warmth from the kiss lingered on his lips. He hadnât expected this at all. The shock hit him like a wave, and it took him a few seconds to even register what had just happened. His grip on her waist instinctively tightened as a rush of heat spread across his face, his ears burning with bashfullness and surprise. The softness of her touch, the surprise of the kiss, and the tenderness in her actions were almost too much for him to process. He stood there, still holding her, his mind racing as he tried to regain his composure. Did she just kiss him? He had never imagined this kind of boldness from her. He knew she had come a long way out of her shell, but this? This was unexpected, to say the least. He blinked rapidly, as if trying to shake off the overwhelming surprise that had taken him completely off guard.
It took Rudraksh nearly two full minutes to calm himself, to breathe steadily again and wrap his mind around the shock of what had just happened. Ruhanika, on the other hand, seemed completely at ease but shy. She hid her face in his neck, the warmth of her breath against his skin only adding to the intensity of the moment. Rudraksh, still processing the shift in their dynamic, couldnât help but smile, despite his shock. This unexpected move had shattered his usual cool, but deep down, it warmed him in ways he hadnât anticipated.
Rudraksh: "Jaana, yaha dekho."
(Look here, my dear.)
Rudraksh gently attempted to lift Ruhanika back onto her feet, but she resisted, unwilling to let go of him. Instead of pulling away, she stayed clung to him, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist, as if seeking solace in his embrace.
Rudraksh: "Mallika-e-Aksh??"
(Queen of Aksh)
Ruhanika: "Nahi hum nahi dekh payenge aapko, hume sharam aa rahi hai."
(No, I canât look at you, Iâm feeling shy.)
Ruhanika's words lingered in his ear as she spoke softly against his neck, her lips brushing against his skin in a way that sent a shiver through him. Despite the unexpected sensation, he was taken aback but couldn't help finding her response endearing. A smile spread across his face as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer in a tight, affectionate embrace.
Rudraksh: "kyu??"
(Why?)
Ruhanika: "Humne ye pehle nahi kiya na"
(Because I havenât done this before.)
Rudraksh: "Kya nahi kiya Jaan-e-aksh??"
(What havenât you done, Jaan-e-Aksh?)
Ruhanika: "Ye aise vo aapko vaha kissie."
(This... um, like kissing you there.)
Rudraksh suppressed a soft chuckle, his lips curving into a knowing smile.
Rudraksh: "Toh abhi kyu kiya??"
(Then why did you do it now?)
Ruhanika frowned in confusion, pulling back slightly to look at him with a puzzled expression. Sensing her uncertainty, he gently placed her back on her feet, but didnât let go of her hands. Instead, he held them firmly.
Ruhanika: "Kyu matlab?? Hume nahi karna tha ye?? Kya galat hai ye??"
(Why? Did I not supposed to? Was it wrong?)
Rudraksh gently caressed her cheek, his touch tender and soothing, as if to calm her and reassure her without words. His fingers lingered for a moment, offering both comfort and understanding, as his eyes met hers with a reassuring warmth.
Rudraksh: "Pehle meri baat ka jawab do."
(First, answer my question.)
Ruhanika's cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, a soft blush spreading across her face as she shyly lowered her head.
Ruhanika: "Humne dekha"
(I saw...)
Rudraksh: "Kya dekha??"
(Saw what?)
Ruhanika: "Vo hum movie dekh rahe the, usme pati patni aise hi kissie kar rahe the, halaki unhone bahaut waqt tak kiya toh hume kuch samajh nahi aaya."
(I was watching a movie, and in it, the husband and wife kissed like that. Although they did it for a long time, so I didnât fully understand it.)
Rudrakshâs eyes widened in surprise, her response caught him off guard, leaving him even more shocked than before. He hadnât expected this, and for a brief moment, he was at a loss for words.
Rudraksh: "kisne laga kar di tumhe ye aisi movie???"
(Who made you watch such a movie?)
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai ne"
(Rishi Bhai did.)
Rudraksh: "Is Rishi ki toh khair nahi hai, hadd kardi hai aaj toh."
(This Rishi is in for it now. Heâs crossed all limits today.)
As Rudraksh took a step back, preparing to leave, Ruhanika suddenly reached out and grabbed his hand. Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears, the fear of him being angry evident in the tremble of her voice. The sight of her tears tugged at his heart, and he stopped in his tracks, his own emotions shifting from shock to tenderness.
Ruhanika: "kya humse galti ho gayi?? Hume nahi karna tha ye?? Hume maaf kar dijiye hum nahi karenge dobara, vo hum...."
(Did I make a mistake? Should I not have done it? Please forgive me, I wonât do it again. I just...)
Rudraksh's heart softened at the sight of her teary eyes. Without a second thought, he pulled her into a tight embrace, wrapping his arms around her protectively. He gently rubbed her back, offering her comfort with his touch as he whispered.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu kitni baar kaha hai unnecessarily roya mat karo yaar nahi achcha lagta."
(Ruhh, sweetheart, how many times have I told you not to cry unnecessarily? I donât like it.)
Ruhanika: "Par humse galti..."
(But I made a mistake...)
Rudraksh: "Nahi huyi hai."
(No, you didnât.)
Ruhanika pulled back slightly, her eyes filled with confusion as she looked up at him. Sensing her uncertainty, Rudraksh gently cupped her face with both hands, his thumb softly caressing her cheeks as he wiped away her tears. His gaze was steady and warm, filled with reassurance.
Rudraksh: "Rishi ko baadme sahi karta hu, tum yaha aao pehle."
(Iâll deal with Rishi later. For now, come here.)
Rudraksh gently guided Ruhanika towards the bed, his hands supporting her as he carefully helped her sit down. He followed, sitting beside her and then shifting her so that she was comfortably nestled between his legs. His strong arms wrapped around her waist, holding her close. He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head, the warmth of the gesture making her feel safe and cherished. Ruhanika, intrigued by his actions, turned her head slightly, her eyes filled with curiosity. She looked back at him, trying to understand the deeper meaning behind his tender care. Rudraksh caught her gaze, his smile softening the intensity in his eyes. Without a word, he gently adjusted her position, guiding her to rest more comfortably on his lap.
Ruhanika: "Aap Rishi Bhai ko datenge hume ye movie dikhane ke liye, aur phir keh rahe hai ki ye galat nahi hai toh hum kya kare??"
(Youâre going to scold Rishi Bhai for showing me that movie, and then youâre saying it wasnât wrong. What should I do then?)
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, meri baat ko ab dhyan se sunna aur samajhna thik hai??"
(Ruhh, listen to me carefully and try to understand, okay?)
Ruhanika: "Ji hum toh humesha aapko dhyaan se sunte aur samajhte hai."
(I always listen to you carefully and understand.)
Rudraksh smiled softly, his heart filled with tenderness as he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek. The warmth of his lips lingered, and his smile only grew as he gazed at her, his eyes full of affection and care.
Rudraksh: "Good now listen aur na samajh aye toh puch lena."
(Good. Now listen, and if you donât understand, feel free to ask.)
Ruhanika nodded, still unsure of what was going on, but her curiosity deepened as she noticed the thoughtful expression on Rudraksh's face. His gaze seemed distant for a moment, as if lost in thought, and it only made her more confused. She tilted her head slightly, wondering what was going on in his mind.
Ruhanika: "Boliye, kya soch rahe hai."
(Tell me, what are you thinking about?)
Rudraksh: "Yahi ki samjhau kaise tumhe."
(Just thinking about how to explain this to you.)
Ruhanika: "Jiii??"
(Yes?)
Rudraksh: "Umm achcha batao tumne mujhe kiss kyu kiya vo bhi l....lips pe, tum humesha toh chehre pe karti ho na."
(Umm... okay, tell me, why did you kiss me there, on the lips? You usually kiss me on the face.)
As Rudraksh sat there, his mind wandered back to the soft peck she had placed on his lips earlier. The memory made him blush, a warm flush spreading across his cheeks as he quickly looked away, trying to hide his flustered expression. Despite his attempt to keep his composure, his heart raced, and a soft smile tugged at the corners of his mouth, betraying the mix of emotions he felt in that moment.
Ruhanika: "Kyuki humne us movie me dekha ki ladka bhi ladki ko aise hi kissie deta hai aur kehta hai ki vo usse pyaar karta hai toh hum bhi toh aapse prem karte hai toh humne socha ki..."
(Because in that movie, the guy kissed the girl on the lips and said he loved her. So, I love you too, and I thought...)
Rudraksh couldn't help but smile at Ruhanika, admiring her logical thinking. He found it endearing how her mind worked.
Rudraksh: "Achcha aur kya dekha aur sikha tumne"
(Hmm, and what else did you see or learn from the movie?)
Ruhanika: "Hume samajh hi nahi aaya kuch, matlab lag raha tha ki vo us ladki ke hothon ko kha rahe hain vo bhi zabardasti, humse nahi ho payega ye, aapko chot lag jayegi, isiliye humne halke se kiya, zabardasti hume galat laga"
(I didnât understand much. It looked like he was eating her lips forcefully. I canât do that; youâll get hurt. Thatâs why I kissed lightly. Forcing someone felt wrong to me.)
Rudraksh smiled softly at Ruhanika, touched by her genuine concern for him. Her innocence, her untainted care, made his heart swell, but at the same time, he knew there were certain things she needed to understand. He didn't want to shatter her innocence or make her feel uncomfortable, yet he knew it was important for her to be awareânot for his sake, but for hers. He leaned in, his lips brushing her forehead gently in a tender kiss.
Rudraksh: "hmm smart girl, bilkul sahi laga tumhe."
(Hmm, smart girl. You felt absolutely right.)
Ruhanika: "Matlab humne sahi kiya aapko kissie deke??"
(So, was it okay that I kissed you?)
Rudraksh: "Mallika-e-Aksh meri baat sunengi aap??"
(Mallika-e-Aksh, will you listen to me?)
Ruhanika: "Jiii"
(Yes.)
Rudraksh: "betu tumhe good touch aur bad touch keh bare me bataya tha na"
(Sweetheart, remember when I told you about good touch and bad touch?)
Ruhanika: "Hayy humare Shiv ji, kya aapko humara chuna galat laga???"
(Oh my Shiv Ji! Did you feel my touch was wrong?)
Ruhanika looked at him with genuine concern, her brow furrowing as she asked. Rudraksh let out a soft sigh, feeling the weight of the situation.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, chup."
(Ruhh, hush.)
Ruhanika pouted. She shut her mouth, and gave a small, reluctant nod. Despite her pout, there was a softness in her expression.
Rudraksh: "Good, toh ye bhi bola tha ki koi tumhe nahi chu sakta tumhari permission ke bina."
(Good. I also told you no one can touch you without your permission, right?)
Ruhanika: "par aapne bola tha ki hume toh ye haq hai aapko chune ka."
( But you said I have the right to touch you.)
Rudraksh: "Haa jaana, hai tumhe haq par kya hai na kuch cheeze ek dusre ki marzi honi chahiye, jaisa tumne kaha zabardasti galat hai."
(Yes, dear, you do, but some things require mutual consent. Like you said, forcing is wrong.)
Ruhanika: "jaise??"
(Like what?)
Rudraksh: "Jaise jab umm abhi ke liye itna samajh lo aap aur dekho main bhi aapko pure chehre pe kiss karta hu, par lips, lips pe karne se pehle puchna chahiye."
(Like... umm... for now, just understand that when I kiss you on your cheek or face, itâs normal. But for lips, you should ask first.)
Ruhanika: "Par kyu??"
(But why?)
Rudraksh: "Kyuki ye, ye.. betu ye thoda personal ho jaata hai na isiliye."
(Because itâs... umm... a bit more personal, you know?)
Ruhanika: "Personal kaise??"
(How is it personal?)
Rudraksh placed his head gently on Ruhanika's shoulder, taking a moment to compose himself. The closeness calmed him, and he closed his eyes for a brief second, letting the warmth of her presence ground him. After a few moments, he lifted his head and looked at her once more, his eyes filled with affection.
Rudraksh: "Achcha batao jab tumne mujhe kiss kiya tum sharma gayi na??"
(Okay, tell me, when you kissed me, you felt shy, right?)
Ruhanika: "Jiii"
(Yes.)
Rudraksh: "Par jab main tumhe chehre pe kiss karta hu toh tum khil khila ke hasne lagti ho."
(But when I kiss your cheek, you laugh openly.)
Ruhanika: "Haa toh"
(Yes, so?)
Rudraksh: "Toh jab ehsaas alag hote hai toh marzi dono ki honi chahiye, thik hai."
(So, when the feelings are different, itâs important both people agree to it.)
Ruhanika: "Hume samajh nahi raha hai, aur vo usme unke hothon ko kha kyu rahe the??"
(I still donât understand. And in the movie, why did it look like he was eating her lips?)
Rudraksh cursed his fate silently, feeling the weight of the situation. Here he was, caught in an unexpected twist, unable to explain to Ruhanika that a kiss should be consensual, and yet she was asking questions that only made things more complicated. His mind raced, trying to find the right words, but he found himself at a loss. He glanced at her, trying to gauge whether she understood the subtle complexity of the moment, but instead, all he could do was smile nervously, feeling the pressure build up.
Ruhanika: "Aur kya aapko bura laga humne aise aapko prem kiya toh??"
(Also, were you upset that I showed my love for you this way?)
Ruhanika lowered her head, a wave of regret washing over her as she replayed her actions in her mind. Sensing her discomfort, Rudraksh didnât want her to feel bad. Gently, he cupped her face in his hands, lifting her gaze to meet his. Without a word, he leaned in and placed soft, reassuring kisses all over her faceâon her forehead, both cheeks, and finally, her nose. Each kiss was a silent promise, telling her that there was no need for regret, and that he cherished every moment with her, no matter how it unfolded.
Rudraksh: "Sabse pehle ye udaas chahra banana band karo."
(First of all, stop making that sad face.)
Ruhanika: "Phir bataiye na ki kya karna hai??"
(Then tell me what to do.)
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, ek husband wife ka pyaar baakio se alag hota hai, ab dekho tum mujhe Aksh bolti ho na koi aur bolta hai??"
(Ruhh, the love between a husband and wife is different from others. For example, you call me Aksh, right? Does anyone else call me that?)
Ruhanika shook her head.
Rudraksh: "Vaise hi sirf main tumhe Ruhh kehta hu na"
(Similarly, I call you Ruhh, and no one else does.)
Ruhanika nodded her head slowly.
Rudraksh: "Haa aise hi bahaut si cheeze hoti hai ek pati patni ke bich jisse vo apna pyaar dikhate hai and lip kiss is one of them."
(There are many such things unique to a husband and wife that express their love, and a lip kiss is one of them.)
Ruhanika: "Pyaar dikhate hai toh hothon ko khane ki kya zaroorat thi??"
(But why was he eating her lips?)
Rudraksh couldnât help but chuckle softly, a playful glint in his eyes as he looked at Ruhanika. Her questions, so full of innocence and curiosity, like they were coming from a pea-sized brain.
Rudraksh: "That's a French kiss sohneyo, vo vaisi hi hoti hai."
(Thatâs a French kiss, love. Itâs meant to be that way.)
Ruhanika facepalmed herself, as she let out a soft sigh.
Rudraksh: "Kya hua??"
(What happened)
Ruhanika: "Kissiyon me bhi prakaar hote hai."
(What? There are types of kisses?)
Rudraksh chuckled softly at her reaction. With a gentle motion, he shifted her back, carefully moving her from his lap and settling her comfortably between his legs. Her back rested against his chest, and he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer. He placed his chin lightly on her shoulder, his breath warm against her skin.
Rudraksh: "Haa hote hai."
(Yes, there are.)
Ruhanika: "Aapko aata hai vo karne?? Hume toh nahi aata."
(Do you know how to do that? I donât know.)
Ruhanika glanced back over her shoulder at Rudraksh, and in that instant, their faces were mere inches apart. Rudraksh was momentarily shocked, his breath catching as he realized how close they were. Her eyes met his with a mix of curiosity and something deeper, and the space between them seemed to shrink even further.
Ruhanika: "hume bhi sikhayenge?? Hum bhi aapko vaise prem karenge, agar aapko usme takleef nahi hogi toh."
(Will you teach me? Iâll also show you love that way, but only if it doesnât hurt you.)
Rudraksh quickly composed himself, taking a deep breath to steady his racing heart. He turned his head to the side, trying to distance himself from the overwhelming closeness. His mind was a swirl of emotions, but he didnât want to let them take over.
Rudraksh: "Nahi Ruhh, mujhe nahi aata mera bhi toh pehli baar hai na phir mujhe pehle se kaise aayega??"
(No, Ruhh. I donât know either. Itâs my first time too, so how would I know beforehand?)
Ruhanika, sensing the shift in Rudrakshâs demeanor, reached out and cupped his face gently with both hands. Her touch was soft, tender, as she caressed his cheek, silently urging him to relax. Her eyes searched his, filled with warmth and understanding.
Ruhanika: "Koi baat nahi hum aur aap sath me Sikh lenge"
(No problem, weâll learn together.)
Rudraksh smiled softly at her innocent words, amused by how effortlessly she spoke about their kiss. Her natural ease with the subject, so unbothered and sincere, made him chuckle inwardly. He couldnât help but find it endearing how she seemed to navigate even the most intimate moments with such simplicity, while he himself was still trying to compose his scattered thoughts.
Ruhanika: "Aur agli baar hum aapse puch ke karenge jab hume aap pe behadd pyaar aayega, par vo toh humesha hi aata hai."
(And next time, Iâll ask you before doing it when I feel overwhelming love for you. But thatâs almost always.)
Ruhanika giggled at her own words, the sound light and carefree. Her laughter was infectious, and Rudraksh couldnât help but chuckle along with her.
Rudraksh: "Puchne ki zarurat nahi hai Ruhh haq hai tumhe."
(You donât need to ask, Ruhh. You have the right.)
Ruhanika: "Dekhiye ye aap hume do baatein bol ke duvidha me mat daaliye."
(See, now youâre saying two different things and confusing me.)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, his playful side taking over as he leaned in and gently rubbed his beard-covered cheek against hers.
Rudraksh: "Okayy my curious girl."
Ruhanika: "Girl nahi woman kahiye, shadi huyi hai humari hum girl nahi hai ab."
(Donât call me girl. Call me woman. Weâre married, so Iâm not a girl anymore.)
Ruhanika's voice carried a hint of annoyance, and Rudraksh couldnât help but feel a smirk tug at his lips. He wanted to chuckle at her reaction, but he quickly composed himself, knowing that if he did, sheâd likely get even more irritated.
Rudraksh: "Tussi mainu pagal karke hi chhaddoge na sohneyo, na jaane hor ki ki samjhauna baaki hai ajj vi, kaise karanga main."
(Youâll drive me crazy, my love. I donât know what else Iâll need to explain today or how Iâll manage.)
Ruhanika: "Phir se vahi bhasha jo hum na samjhe."
(There you go again, speaking in a language I donât understand.)
Rudraksh couldn't hold back his chuckle when he saw the way Ruhanika glared at him after he spoke in Punjabi. Her expression, a mix of mock frustration and disbelief, made it impossible for him not to laugh. She always had this adorable way of looking at him when he teased her in her own language.
Rudraksh: "Achcha sorry."
(Okay, sorry.)
Ruhanika grinned. But just as quickly, her expression shifted. A frown replaced her smile, and without warning, she stood up swiftly from the bed. Her sudden movement caught Rudraksh off guard, and he watched her, unsure of what had caused the change in her mood.
Rudraksh: "Kya hua??"
(What happened?)
Ruhanika: "Aapko aaye kitni der ho gayi humne pani khana kuch nahi pucha aapko, aap aaiye niche hum khana lagate hai."
(Youâve been here for so long, and I didnât even offer you water or food. Come downstairs; Iâll set the table.)
Rudraksh chuckled, shaking his head as he watched Ruhanika dart out of the room, her excitement and energy infectious. He couldn't help but smile at her spontaneity. But then, as the image of her shy face and the surprise kiss she had planted on his lips flashed in his mind, a deep flush of warmth crept across his face. He absentmindedly traced his lips with his fingers, still trying to process the shock of it all. His heart raced a little as he recalled how unexpected and innocent it had been. It wasn't the kiss itself that had caught him off guardâit was the sweet, unguarded way she had done it, as if she had no inhibitions, only pure affection. And that made it all the more overwhelming. Rudraksh couldn't help but laugh softly to himself, his cheeks still tinged with red. He knew he had to be patient with her, let her learn, and guide her gently, but at that moment, all he wanted to do was embrace the sweetness of it all.
Rudraksh: "Pata nahi kado itna lucky ho gaya ki tussi mil gaye mainu sohneyo."
(I donât know how I got so lucky to have you, my love.)
Rudraksh smiled softly as he gazed at the door from which Ruhanika had run out, his eyes filled with affection and warmth.
Rudraksh: "Par main kade vi nahi chaunda ki tussi uncomfortable feel karo, is karke sab kujh janna zaroori si tuhada."
(But I never want you to feel uncomfortable. Thatâs why it was important for you to know everything.)
With a lingering smile on his face, Rudraksh turned and made his way back to the closet. The lightness in his step reflected his moodâfull of warmth and amusement from the moments heâd just shared with Ruhanika. As he opened the closet, his mind still wandered back to her, and he couldnât help but smile again, his heart light with the happiness she brought him.
The family had finished their dinner, and the house had settled into a peaceful silence. Ruhanika and Rudraksh were in their room, the quiet hum of the laptop's fan the only sound in the background. Ruhanika sat comfortably on the bed, her head resting gently on Rudraksh's shoulder as she wrapped her arms around his biceps. She leaned against him, content, while her eyes wandered down to his hands, admiring the way his fingers moved as he typed away on his laptop. Curiously, she traced the contours of his hand with her own, occasionally comparing the size of her fingers to his, marveling at the difference. Her gaze softened with affection as she continued her quiet exploration, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. The intimacy of the moment was not lost on herâbeing so close, so comfortable with him, made her heart feel warm.
Rudraksh noticed her soft touches but chose not to tease her this time. He could feel the gentle brush of her fingers on his skin, but he remained focused on his work, though his mind wandered occasionally. The memory of her unexpected kiss earlier that day still lingered in his thoughts, making him blush every now and then. He couldnât help but smile, thinking about how innocent and sweet she had been, and how it had caught him off guard.
Suddenly, the sound of raindrops tapping against the window caught Ruhanika's attention. Her eyes shifted to the window, and even though her head remained comfortably resting on Rudraksh's shoulder, she found herself lost in the beauty of the rain outside. The soft pattering of the rain, the cool breeze, and the darkened sky filled her with a sense of peace. A smile danced on her lips as she watched the droplets race down the glass, her eyes shimmering with a quiet joy. Rudraksh noticed the shift in her gaze and followed her line of sight. He saw the way her face lit up as she admired the rain, her entire demeanor changing to one of pure bliss. Her fingers had stopped tracing his hand, and instead, she was completely absorbed in the rhythm of the rain. A soft smile curved Rudraksh's lips as he watched her, understanding now just how much she enjoyed the rain.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, bahar balcony ka first half shed hai, vaha jaake enjoy karni hai baarish?"
(Ruhh, the first half of the balcony is covered with a shed. Do you want to go there and enjoy the rain?)
Rudraksh noticed the shift in Ruhanikaâs demeanor as her smile slowly faded. Her grip on his hand tightened, and her head lowered onto his shoulder, her gaze dropping to her lap. The subtle change in her posture, the way she seemed to shrink into herself, didnât escape him. His heart ached as he realized that she was scared He knew all too well that she avoided going to the balcony, that small escape to the outside world, as if the very thought of stepping out there triggered something deep within her. He could feel the weight of her unease as she remained confined to the room, her own mental cage holding her back from freedom. Rudrakshâs heart tightened. He understood. She had been through so much, so much that it had affected her even in the simplest moments. But he couldnât let her continue living like thisâtrapped in her own fears, shackled by memories she couldnât shake off. He wasnât going to let her remain a prisoner of her own mind, especially not when she had so much life left to live. Tonight, he decided, it would change. He would start small, with something as simple as a walk to the balcony. Gently, but surely, he would help her take that first step towards breaking free from her inner demons. He wanted to be there for her, to guide her through it. It wouldn't be easy, but it was something that needed to be done.
Rudraksh: "Achcha, par mujhe toh laga tumhe baarish pasand hai."
(Really? But I thought you liked the rain.)
Ruhanika: "Jii pasand hai, pyaari khushboo, madhur awaaze aa rahi hai, hum yahi se dekh lenge, bahar nahi jayenge."
(I do. The sweet smell, the gentle soundâitâs all lovely. But Iâd rather stay inside.)
Fear was clearly visible in Ruhanika's eyes, and Rudraksh's heart sank at the sight. He hated seeing her like this, so vulnerable and unsettled. He couldn't stand the thought of her feeling scared or uneasy, not when he knew she deserved peace and comfort. He couldnât let her stay like this. He needed to do whatever it took to reassure her and restore that warmth in her eyes.
Rudraksh: "Ohh achcha, toh tum Darr rhi hu, par mujhe laga tha ki mere hote tumhe Darr nahi lagta."
(Oh, I see. So youâre scared? I thought you didnât feel afraid when Iâm around.)
Rudraksh closed his laptop with a soft click and immediately wrapped his arms around Ruhanika's shoulders, pulling her into a secure embrace. The warmth of his touch and the safety of his presence seemed to soothe her, and she smiled up at him, the fear that had clouded her eyes beginning to fade.
Ruhanika: "Sahi lagta hai aapko, hum aapke sath surakshit mehsus karte hai, bas vaha nahi jayenge."
(Youâre right. I do feel safe with you. I just donât feel like going outside.)
Rudraksh understood that Ruhanika wouldnât agree to him if he pushed her too hard, and he didnât want her to feel pressurized in any way. He recognized the importance of her comfort and peace of mind, so he decided to approach the situation differently. Instead of insisting, he chose to create a space where she could come to her own conclusions on her own terms, without feeling rushed.
Rudraksh: "Achcha thik hai koi baat nahi, Tum baitho main jaata hu bahar."
(Alright then, no problem. You sit here; Iâll go outside.)
Ruhanika frowned as she looked up at Rudraksh, her gaze filled with curiosity and even a hint of confusion.
Ruhanika: "hume chod ke jayenge??"
(Youâre going, leaving me here)
Rudraksh gently caressed Ruhanika's cheeks, his touch soft and reassuring.
Rudraksh: "jaana tum toh aa nahi rahi na mere sath, par toh ja sakta hu na bahar."
(Well, youâre not coming with me, are you? So I can go, right?)
Ruhanika: "Par..."
(But...)
Ruhanika couldnât quite finish her sentence because Rudraksh pulled away from her, leaving a soft kiss on her cheek before standing up. His smile was playful, yet there was a warmth to it that made her heart flutter. But despite the flutter, she pouted, hoping to get his attention, but to no avail. His focus didnât waver, and he walked confidently toward the balcony. Rudraksh reached the swing under the shed and settled onto it, swaying slightly, looking out at the rain. The sound of the raindrops hitting the ground was soothing, and his smile deepened as he admired the peaceful scene. However, his gaze never fully left Ruhanika, a soft glimmer of affection in his eyes. He could see her watching him from the window, and he couldnât help but feel a sense of pride in how far she had come, even if it was just a small step forward.
Ruhanika hesitated, her feet hesitant and trembling, but after a moment of thought, she gently slid down from the bed. Her dupatta was tangled in her fingers as she nervously fidgeted with it, her steps slow and unsure. She came to the window, her hand just resting against the sliding door as she peered out at Rudraksh. The sight of him enjoying the rain, without giving her his full attention, caused a small wave of jealousy to stir within her. It was a feeling she hadnât expectedâjealous of the rain?
Rudraksh: "Aa jao betu, I know aap bahaut strong hai, bas thodi si himmat aur kar lo Sohneyo."
(Come on, sweetheart. I know youâre strong. Just a little more courage, my love.)
Rudraksh murmured to himself, a faint smile playing on his lips as he avoided looking directly at Ruhanika, deliberately making her wait. He could feel the tension in the air, her restlessness clear, and he knew his plan was working. He had hoped this moment would help her face her fears, but seeing her struggle made his heart ache in ways he hadnât expected. Ruhanika stood frozen at the window, her gaze fixed on the balcony outside, but it was clear she was battling her own demons. Her foot hovered for a moment before she slowly, almost hesitantly, placed it outside. Her body trembled slightly as if the very act of stepping out of her comfort zone was causing her physical pain. Her hands were unsteady, fingers gripping the edge of the door, but she squeezed her eyes shut, willing herself not to feel the panic rising inside.
The turmoil on her face was evident. Rudraksh could see the struggle written all over herâher shaky legs, the subtle shiver that ran through her body. Every step she took seemed to cost her something deep inside, and yet, she pushed forward. Rudrakshâs heart twisted in his chest as he watched her. Every fiber of his being wanted to rush to her side, to pull her close, to offer her the reassurance and comfort she so desperately needed. But he held back, knowing that this was a battle she had to face on her own. She was fighting her fears, and though it tore him to watch, he understood that he couldnât take this moment from her. He needed to let her take the first step herself, even if it was difficult for him to watch. It felt like an eternity, but finally, Ruhanika opened her eyes, her gaze now unwavering. Her breath caught, and with a mixture of determination and anxiety, she stepped fully onto the balcony. The air seemed to change around her as she finally stepped into the space she had avoided for so long. The wind brushed against her face, but she didnât flinch. It was as if, for the first time, she was truly allowing herself to experience something outside of the walls she had built around herself.
Rudrakshâs heart swelled with pride as he saw Ruhanika step onto the balcony, but he masked his emotions, keeping his focus on the rain, pretending not to notice her. He could feel her eyes on him, but he remained deliberately aloof, knowing that this moment was hers to savor and that he couldnât overwhelm her with his attention. Her brows furrowed as she watched him continue to ignore her, despite the fact that she had just stepped out onto the balcony. It was as if he was intentionally avoiding her, and that only added to her frustration. She had worked so hard to face her fears, and now she was being met with his indifference. Pouting in irritation, she shuffled over to the swing, her bare feet tapping against the ground as she made her way toward him. She couldnât bear the thought of him not acknowledging her, especially after she had made such an effort to join him.
Without a second thought, Ruhanika sat beside him on the swing, glaring at him with frustration. Rudraksh, still acting as though he hadnât noticed, continued to gaze ahead, the rain softly pattering against the ground. Unable to take it any longer, Ruhanika huffed and reached out, giving him a firm pat on the back, a little more forceful than she intended. The sound of her palm meeting his back broke the silence, and finally, Rudraksh turned his head toward her.
Rudraksh: "Ohhh jaana, tum aa gayi mujhe laga nahi aaogi."
(Oh, you came! I didnât think you would.)
Ruhanika: "Hume akele chod ke yaha baarish ke mazee le rahe hai aap, aise koi karta hai apni biwi ke sath??"
(Youâre out here enjoying the rain while leaving me behind? Is that how someone treats their wife?)
Rudraksh couldnât help but smile inwardly as he watched Ruhanika assert herself, claiming her rights as his wife with such confidence and affection. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her closer, feeling the warmth of her presence. His eyes softened as he looked at her, admiring the way she stood her ground while still holding onto their bond with love and respect. The way she was becoming more comfortable in their relationship made his heart swell with pride, and he couldn't help but hold her a little tighter. His touch was tender, and he made sure she felt at ease, reassuring her without saying a word. By keeping his response calm and normal, he subtly conveyed that stepping into the balcony without hesitation was completely natural to him, and there was no reason for her to feel insecure. His gentle, unpressured approach let her know that she didnât need to overthink things
Rudraksh: "Kya meri biwi naraz hai??"
(Is my wife upset?)
Ruhanika: "Thode se"
(A little bit.)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, noticing the slight pout on Ruhanika's face as she appeared a little upset. He couldn't resist rubbing his nose gently against hers, a playful gesture that made her blush, her cheeks turning a shade of pink.
Rudraksh: "Maaf kar dijiye Meri Rajkumari ji."
(Forgive me, my princess.)
Rudraksh apologized playfully by rubbing his cheek gently against Ruhanikaâs, his touch soft and affectionate. The warmth of his gesture melted any lingering tension, and Ruhanika couldnât help but chuckle at how adorable he was.
Ruhanika: "Daadhi mat chubhaiye."
(Stop rubbing your beard on me; itâs poking me.)
Rudrakshâs smile took on a mischievous edge as he cupped Ruhanikaâs neck, his hands gently holding her in place. With a playful glint in his eyes, he began rubbing his cheeks against hers, first one side, then the other, in a light, teasing manner. Ruhanika couldnât help but burst into giggles, her laughter ringing through the air as she squirmed, trying to escape his affectionate torment.
Ruhanika: "Bass bhi kijiye."
(Alright, enough already.)
Rudraksh stopped, and both of them chuckled softly, enjoying the lighthearted moment. They sat together, wrapped in the warmth of each otherâs embrace, Rudrakshâs arms around her shoulders, and Ruhanikaâs arms wrapped around his torso, her face resting against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. The swing gently swayed with his legs, adding to the peacefulness of the moment. However, as a sudden loud thunderstorm erupted outside, Ruhanika flinched at the booming sound, her body tensing with the surprise of it. Instinctively, she buried her face deeper into his chest, seeking comfort from the storm. Rudraksh, sensing her unease, immediately began rubbing her back in soothing circles, his touch gentle and steady, offering her reassurance.
Rudraksh: "Shh betu kuch nahi hai."
(Shh, sweetheart, itâs nothing.)
His words, gentle and reassuring, seemed to melt the last of Ruhanika's tension. She felt a wave of calm wash over her as his sincerity reached her heart. She looked up at him, her gaze softening, meeting his with an understanding that needed no further explanation.
Rudraksh: "Aise darte nahi hai Jaana, aise tum baarish enjoy kaise karogi??"
(You donât have to be afraid, darling. How will you enjoy the rain if youâre scared?)
Ruhanika nodded, a soft smile gracing her lips as she leaned back into Rudraksh's chest. The rain began to intensify, a steady rhythm falling around them, and a few drops landed gently on her face. Her eyes sparkled as she smiled, feeling the cool droplets against her skin. Without a second thought, she extended her hands out into the rain, letting the drops soak her palms. Her laughter bubbled up uncontrollably, and she giggled as she swayed her legs in the air, letting herself be enveloped by the pure joy of the moment. The rain, once a symbol of her fears, now felt like freedom, like a release. Each drop seemed to wash away a little more of the weight she had carried for so long.
Rudraksh, watching her, felt a surge of happiness fill him. His plan had worked, but more importantly, he had witnessed the change in her. The carefree joy on her face, the way she embraced the rain, was proof that she was letting go of her fearsâone step at a time. The heavy weight in his chest lifted, and for the first time in a long while, he felt peace. Ruhanika turned to look at him, her eyes shining with the kind of happiness that was rare for her. She didnât need to say anything; her smile, the way she looked at him, told him everything. Rudraksh smiled back, understanding the unspoken words in her gaze.
Rudraksh: "Jao bheeg lo."
(Go on, and enjoy rain)
Ruhanika frowned slightly, her expression a mix of confusion, and Rudraksh couldnât help but chuckle at her reaction.
Rudraksh: "Tum bheego, main tumhe dekhunga, daro mat yahi hu main."
(You enjoy it, and Iâll watch you. Donât worry, Iâm right here.)
Ruhanika hesitated for a moment, the warmth of Rudrakshâs presence grounding her, but with a deep breath, she stepped down from the swing. Slowly, she moved towards the terrace area of the balcony, each step cautious but filled with an unspoken determination. Her feet touched the cold, wet surface, and she smiled at the feeling. The chill beneath her feet combined with the rain-soaked air, and she moved forward, letting herself be drenched. A shiver ran down her spine, both from the cold and the sensation of the raindrops splashing on her skin, but rather than feeling discomfort, she felt liberated. The rain felt like a soft embrace, washing away remnants of fear and doubt. She continued to walk further, letting herself be completely immersed in the rain, her head tilted upwards. She spread her arms wide, feeling the rain against her face, and giggled in delight, the sound of her laughter blending with the rhythm of the storm.
Rudraksh sat there, his eyes never leaving her. He watched her with an expression filled with awe, his heart swelling with love for her. For the first time, he saw her so free, so alive, without the shadows of her past weighing her down. His fingers clicked the camera on his phone instinctively as he captured her in the moment, but what he truly wished to capture was not just her image, but the beauty of her spirit. He was so lost in her that he didn't even notice when she moved closer to him. Ruhanika, with a playful smile, approached him and gently took his hand, pulling him from his thoughts. Rudraksh looked down at her, his heart skipping a beat as he met her gaze. She was smiling, a smile that spoke of so muchâof healing, of joy, of love. And in that moment, he understood her intentions without a word.
Rudraksh: "Nahi Ruhh main nahi, mujhe pasand nahi hai"
(No, Ruhh, Iâm not going. I donât like it.)
Ruhanika pouted, her lips forming a cute, irresistible expression as she looked up at him with puppy eyes, her gaze filled with an unspoken plea. Rudrakshâs heart melted at the sightâhe couldnât resist her when she looked at him like that.
Rudraksh: "Ye apna brahmastra chalana band karo, nahi manne wala hai."
(Stop using your puppy-dog eyes! Iâm not giving in this time.)
Ruhanika lowered her head, her face falling into a sad expression as she gently pulled her hand away from Rudraksh's. Her sudden change in demeanor caught him off guard, and a deep sigh escaped him. He couldnât stand seeing her like this. Without hesitation, he reached out and gently took her hand in his.
Rudraksh: "Chalo."
(Fine, letâs go.)
Ruhanikaâs sad expression vanished in an instant, replaced by a wide grin. With a burst of excitement, she leaned in and kissed Rudraksh's cheek, her lips leaving a soft, warm imprint on his skin. The playful energy between them returned, and Rudraksh couldn't help but smile, his heart fluttering at the sweetness of her gesture.
Ruhanika: "Aap bahaut achche hai, kitni jaldi humari baatein maan lete hai."
(Youâre so sweet. You give in to me so quickly.)
Rudraksh chuckled at Ruhanika's infectious excitement as she tugged him out of the shaded area of the balcony and onto the terrace. Both of them were now completely drenched by the rain, but it didnât matterâthere was something magical about the way Ruhanika was embracing the moment. She stretched her arms wide, feeling the cool, refreshing droplets of rain as they splashed against her face. Her laughter echoed in the air, and she jumped with joy, the sound of her feet meeting the wet floor adding to the symphony of rain. Rudraksh couldnât help but admire her, standing there with his hands tucked in his pockets, a soft smile on his face as he watched her carefree, her spirit more radiant than the storm itself.
Suddenly, as she jumped again, her foot slipped on the slick surface. Rudraksh was thereâhis strong arms wrapping around her waist, pulling her close to him just in time to stop her from falling. For a brief moment, they stood there, close, feeling each other's warmth despite the downpour. Ruhanika's face flushed a deep shade of pink, her heart racing from the sudden closeness. She lowered her gaze, feeling the heat of her cheeks contrast against the coolness of the rain, and a shy smile tugged at her lips. The atmosphere between them shifted, the energy growing more intense, yet gentle. Ruhanikaâs hands found their way to Rudrakshâs collar, gripping it tightly as the rain continued to pour around them. There was a certain heat in the air, not from the weather, but from the silent understanding between them, an unspoken bond that neither of them needed to put into words.
Rudraksh, noticing the way her eyes glistened in the rain, reached out with a tender hand, brushing a few wet strands of hair away from her face and tucking them gently behind her ear. His fingertips lingered on her soft skin for a moment longer, and as he leaned in, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. The touch was filled with warmth, as if he was silently promising her that no matter what, he would always be there. A shy smile crept onto Ruhanikaâs face, and her heart fluttered in response to the overwhelming tenderness in his gesture. Rudraksh, seeing her smile, couldnât help but return it, a soft but genuine smile of his own. Their connection, in that brief moment, was so pure and deep, it transcended words. They didnât need to say anything because everything they felt was already communicated through their actions and the quiet closeness between them. Suddenly, a thunderstorm rumbled above, the sound of the crackling thunder startling Ruhanika. Instantly, she buried her face in his chest, her body trembling slightly from the sudden shock. The fear, the vulnerability, all surfaced in that moment. Rudraksh, without hesitation, tightened his hold around her, wrapping his arms around her protectively. He became her shield against the storm, his presence a safe haven from the world outside. He rubbed her back gently, soothing her as she shivered from the cold and the lingering fear.
Rudraksh: "Shh relax betu, main hu na."
(Shh, relax, my love. Iâm here.)
The air between them thickened with an intensity neither of them could deny. Both stood in the rain, drenched to the bone, their hearts racing as they locked eyes, as though the world around them had disappeared. The rain fell steadily around them, droplets clinging to their skin, mixing with the warmth of their feelings, the soft mist from their breath blending with the rainâs cool touch. Ruhanikaâs gaze was soft, yet her heart was pounding in her chest. Her fingers trembling slightly as they reached out, tracing the contours of his face. Her touch was gentle, almost reverent, as she caressed his cheek, feeling the warmth of his skin against the chill of the rain. Rudrakshâs eyes fluttered shut at the softness of her touch, his breath catching in his throat. Rudrakshâs grip on her waist tightened involuntarily, his hands pressing against the small of her back as he pulled her closer. His heart beat faster as he felt her breath mingle with his, the air between them charged with emotion.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh"
Ruhanika: "Hume ye kaise ehsaas mehsus ho rahe hai?? Humara man kar raha hai hum aapke khoob kareeb aaye, itna ki kabhi aapse alag na ho paye."
(Why am I feeling like this? I just want to come closer to you, so close that I never have to part from you.)
Rudraksh opened his eyes and found Ruhanika with her head lowered, her gaze hidden from him. A gentle concern flickered across his face, and he reached out, tenderly cupping her chin. Slowly, he lifted her face, guiding her to look up at him, but her eyes remained lowered, as if lost in thought or perhaps shy.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh??"
Ruhanika: "Hum bahaut Prem karte hai aapse."
(I love you so much.)
Ruhanika hesitated for a moment, her lashes fluttering before she slowly lifted her gaze to meet his eyes. The connection between them deepened as their eyes locked, and Rudraksh could see the vulnerability and emotions swirling in her gaze.
Ruhanika: "Na jaane kyu, aapko jatana chahte hai ki hum aapse kitna prem karte hai."
(I donât know why, but I want to show you how deeply I love you.)
Rudraksh smiled tenderly, his heart swelling with an overwhelming sense of love and devotion. He could read Ruhanikaâs feelings more clearly than she could herself, and that realization brought him a deep sense of peace. With a gentle touch, he caressed her cheeks, the softness of his gesture speaking louder than any words could. The only emotion that filled him was pure love, a love that felt both eternal and comforting. Nothing seemed wrong in this moment; it was just them, in perfect harmony. He cupped her face, his touch warm and reassuring, and as he looked at her, a constant smile spread across his face, one that mirrored hers. There was a new, unknown feeling blossoming inside both of themâa quiet happiness, an unspoken bond that they shared. It was as if their hearts were in sync, content and full, and neither needed words to explain the depth of their connection.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh"
His voice came as a mere whisper, soft and full of tenderness, as if he didnât want to break the fragile moment between them.
Ruhanika: "Jiii Akshhh"
(Yess Aksh)
Rudraksh's heart fluttered once again, his emotions stirring deeply as he saw the sincerity and trust in her eyes. Without thinking, he leaned in and pressed a soft, tender kiss to her forehead.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, jaana aap janti hai na main aapse kitna pyaar karta hu??"
(Ruhh, my love, you know how much I love you, right?)
Ruhanika: "Jaante hai, ya yu kahe ki ab hum sirf yahi baat jante hai."
(I know. Or perhaps itâs the only thing I know now.)
Ruhanikaâs voice held a newfound confidence, the kind that only comes from trusting someone completely. There was no hesitation as she looked up at him, her gaze steady and sure. Her trust in him was unwavering, and Rudraksh could feel the weight of it in the air between them, making him smile with pride and tenderness.
Rudraksh: "So, betu can .... Can I kiss you??"
Ruhanika frowned in confusion, sensing the slight hesitation in his voice as he stuttered while asking the question. She tilted her head, her brow furrowing in concern. It wasnât like Rudraksh to be unsure or nervous, especially around her.
Ruhanika: "Toh aap puch kyu rahe hai??"
(Why are you asking?)
Rudraksh: "Subah bataya tha na betu, is baat me dono ki manjuri zaruri hai. Agar tumhare dil mujhpe vishwas kare aur ijazat de tabhi haa karna."
(I told you this morning, love. In matters like this, both should agree. If your heart trusts me and gives me permission, only then say yes.)
Ruhanikaâs cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, and her eyes shyly lowered, realizing exactly what Rudraksh was referring to. The realization made her heart race, and a warm sensation spread through her, making her feel both flustered and a little giddy. She gently bit her lip, trying to hide the smile that tugged at the corners of her mouth, but her bashful gaze gave away the softness in her heart.
Ruhanika: "Aap hume hoothon par kiss ki keh rahe hai."
(Youâre asking to kiss me... on my lips?)
Rudraksh gently placed his forehead against hers, his breath mingling with hers in the close proximity. His hands tenderly caressed her face, his fingers tracing the outline of her jaw, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath his touch. He closed his eyes for a moment, savoring the sensation of her closeness, of how everything seemed to melt away in this intimate moment.
Rudraksh: "Haan Mallika-e-Aksh, but sirf tab jab tumhara dil sehmati de"
(Yes, my queen, but only if your heart agrees.)
Ruhanika's heart swelled with happiness as she felt the depth of his care and consideration. The realization that her consent mattered so much to him made her feel cherished in a way words could never express. A giddy warmth spread through her, the kind that made her feel light and happy, and no matter how much she tried, that smile was firmly plastered on her face. She couldnât help but bask in the feeling of being loved so genuinely. In that moment, all she wanted was for him to love her in every way he desired, without hesitation, without limits. She knew that whatever they shared was built on trust, respect, and an unspoken understanding that made everything feel so perfectly right.
Ruhanika: "Ji v..o vo haa"
(Ah.. y..yes)
Rudraksh: "Haa kya Ruhh?"
(yes what Ruhh)
Ruhanika: "vo ... Vo hum chahte hai aap hume ek pati ki tarah pyaar kare."
(I... I want you to love me like a husband loves his wife.)
Rudraksh studied her face intently, looking for any signs of hesitation, but all he found was the purest form of love and innocence reflected in her eyes, and a soft, shy smile playing on her lips. His heart swelled with affection as he saw her trust and openness. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, and leaned in slowly toward her lips, feeling a gentle pull toward the warmth they offered. Ruhanikaâs heartbeat quickened, the anticipation making her feel both nervous and excited. She instinctively closed her eyes as well, her breath shallow, feeling a flutter in her chest. Then, the moment came. She felt the coolness of his lips gently press against the warmth of hers, a soft, tender kiss. It wasnât like the playful peck from the morningâit was deeper, more sincere, filled with affection and an unspoken promise. The kiss lingered in the air between them, calm yet full of emotion, a reflection of their growing connection and the love that was blossoming between them.
In that fleeting moment, as their lips remained pressed together, it felt as if time had come to a halt. Both their heartbeats seemed to stop for a second, the world around them fading away. All that remained was the feeling of each other's love, raw and pure, enveloping them in a warmth that defied the pouring rain. Rudraksh pulled her closer by her waist, his touch tender but possessive, and Ruhanika instinctively grabbed onto his collar, holding him just as tightly. The rain poured over them, soaking their clothes, but neither of them cared. The closeness, the intensity, was all-consuming. Their breathing became heavier, the proximity of their bodies making the air around them thick with desire.
As Rudraksh slowly began to move his lips against hers, Ruhanika didnât quite understand the depth of what he was doing, but she trusted him completely, allowing him to lead. She let go of any hesitations, allowing herself to melt into the moment, her body responding to him with an instinctive closeness. Rudrakshâs fingers gently caressed the delicate skin of her neck, sending shivers down her spine. Ruhanika, caught up in the warmth of the kiss, let her other hand travel beneath his collar, finding its way to his neck. She caressed it softly, her touch hesitant yet tender, mirroring his actions. Rudraksh couldn't help but smile between the kiss. His heart swelled with affection and pride as he realized his sweet, innocent Ruhanika was trying to mimic him, feeling her shy attempts to mirror his affection. It made him feel even more connected to her, the intimacy of the moment deepening as they shared something so uniquely theirs.
As Rudraksh gently traced his tongue along her lips, Ruhanika seemed to understand his unspoken words. She allowed him to deepen the kiss, her response natural and trusting. Both of them were lost in the connection they were sharing, their breathing heavy and erratic, yet neither of them willing to pull back. The warmth between them was overwhelming, and in that moment, there was nothing but pure loveâno distractions, no doubts. It was as if the world had disappeared, leaving only the two of them entwined in a shared emotion that was both tender and passionate. Minutes passed like this, neither of them willing to break the moment, until Rudraksh suddenly felt a subtle warmth on his skin. His senses sharpened, and he immediately realized it wasnât the rain, but Ruhanikaâs tears. The realization hit him like a wave. He pulled back in an instant, his eyes filled with concern as he looked at her. He wrapped her in his arms, pulling her close to him, his hands gently rubbing her back in a comforting motion. He felt her tears, soft and silent, but the warmth of them pierced his heart. She was so caught up in the moment, yet something had stirred inside her, and he couldnât bear to see her cry, especially when she had never once shown him hesitation or fear.
Rudraksh: "Jaana?? Kya aap uncomfortable..."
(Love? Are you feeling uncomfortable?)
Ruhanika: "Nahi ji bilkul nahi."
(No, not at all.)
Rudraksh: "Phir ye keemti motiya girane ki vajah??"
(Then why these precious tears?)
Ruhanika pulled back slightly, her brow furrowed in confusion. Rudraksh, his heart heavy with the tenderness of the moment, gently cupped her face in his hands. He carefully wiped away the stray tears that had fallen down her cheeks, his touch soft and soothing.
Rudraksh: "Ro kyu Rahi hai aap Jaan-e-aksh??"
(Why are you crying, my dearest?)
Ruhanika gently took his hands, which were resting on her face and lowered her eyes.
Ruhanika: "Kyuki hume kuch mehsus hua."
(Because I felt something.)
Rudraksh: "Kya betu??"
(What, sweetheart?)
Ruhanika: "Vo jab aap humare kareeb aaye is tarah se aur hum..e hume kiss kiya, hume mehsus hua ki aap humse bahaut Prem karte hai aur kabhi hume kuch nahi hone denge, hume mehsus hua jaise hum bahaut mayne rakhte hai aapke liye."
(When you came close to me like that and kissed me, I felt that you love me deeply and would never let anything happen to me. I felt like I matter so much to you.)
Rudraksh kissed her forehead gently, his lips lingering for a moment, filled with a tenderness that spoke volumes. He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, his heart swelling with happiness. In that moment, he realized that she had understood exactly what he wanted her to feelâhis pure, unwavering love. It wasnât about grand gestures or words, but the quiet moments like this, where their connection spoke louder than anything else. He smiled softly, his love for her shining in his eyes, knowing that she felt safe and cherished in his arms.
Rudraksh: "kyuki ye hai sach Ruhh, bahaut mayne rakhti ho tum ab meri Zindagi me, Meri Ruhh hai tabhi uska Aksh hai."
(Because itâs the truth, Ruhh. You matter a lot in my life now. Youâre my soul, and without you, thereâs no meaning to me.)
Ruhanikaâs smile spread brightly across her face, and without a second thought, she wrapped her arms around Rudraksh in a spontaneous hug. The warmth of her embrace made his heart skip a beat, and he couldnât help but chuckle softly at her eagerness. He tightened his hold around her, pulling her closer into the safety of his arms.
Rudraksh: "Hun ki kitta main je tussi sharma gaye??"
(Now what i did, that you are blushing)
Ruhanika: "Jii?"
(What??)
Rudraksh: "Ab kya hua Sohneyo, kyu sharma gayi aap??"
(What happened, love? Why are you blushing?)
Ruhanika: "Hume sharam aa rahi hai, hum ab bhi aapko mehsus kar pa rahe hai."
(I feel shy because I can still feel your touch.)
Rudraksh smirked slightly, his eyes gleaming with affection as he gently pulled her back from the hug. Ruhanikaâs shy smile tugged at his heart, her gaze lowered in a soft, almost bashful way that made his breath hitch. The shyness in her eyes was too much for him to resist, and for a brief moment, he wanted to kiss her again, to hold her closer. But he composed himself, trying to maintain control. Leaning in just a little closer, his breath warm against her skin, he whispered in a husky voice.
Rudraksh: "kaha Jaan-e-aksh, kaha mehsus kar pa rahi hai aap mujhe??"
(Where, my dearest? Where are you feeling me?)
Ruhanika's cheeks flushed deeper, and in an instinctive response to his words, she quickly hid her face in her palms, trying to shield herself from his intense gaze.
Ruhanika: "Aap jaan ke sata rahe hai na hume?? Jante hai hum kyu sharma rahe hai phir bhi."
(Youâre teasing me on purpose, arenât you? You know why Iâm blushing, yet youâre still asking.)
Rudraksh chuckled softly at Ruhanikaâs adorable gesture, finding her shyness even more endearing. Gently, he pulled her hands away from her face, revealing her flushed expression, and with a playful glint in his eyes, he turned her around. Before she could process what was happening, he moved away just a little, only to pull her close again, this time guiding her into a gentle dance.
Rudraksh: "Haa janta hu, isiliye tang kar raha tha vo kya hai na meri Ruhh tang hote huye bahaut pyari lagti hai"
(Yes, I know. Thatâs why Iâm teasing you. You see, my Ruhh looks incredibly adorable when sheâs being teased.)
Rudraksh pulled Ruhanika close, and her back gently hit his chest. With a soft smile, he wrapped his arms around her waist, guiding her into the rhythm of the rain. Their bodies moved in sync, swaying slowly as if the rain itself was composing a melody just for them. Ruhanika couldn't help but giggle, her laughter like music in the quiet night. As she laughed, Rudraksh leaned his chin on her shoulder, breathing in the scent of her hair, savoring the closeness between them. They both closed their eyes, fully immersed in the moment, their hearts beating in a perfect, harmonious rhythm. The world seemed to fade away, leaving only the sound of their breaths, the pitter-patter of the rain, and the gentle swaying of their bodies. It was a slow, beautiful danceâone that spoke of their love, their bond, and the deep connection they shared. In that silence, they could hear each other's hearts, each beat echoing the love they had found in one another.
Suddenly, Ruhanika stopped swaying, her expression shifting from joy to something more serious. Rudraksh, confused by the sudden change, gently turned her toward him, his hands still resting on her waist. He looked into her eyes, trying to understand what had caused the shift in her mood. Ruhanika's glare met his, a spark of frustration evident in her eyes, and she placed her hand firmly on her waist. Rudraksh couldnât help but find the sight of her adorably defiantâher pout, the way she placed her arms, even her eyes that were trying to hide the little storm brewing inside her. He wanted to laugh at how cute she looked, her frustration only making her seem even more endearing. But he quickly stopped himself when he saw the seriousness in her gaze. She wasnât just poutingâshe was upset.

Beautiful Ruhaaksh moments.
To those asking for regular updates, I truly appreciate your excitement! However, Iâve mentioned earlier that I can only provide two chapters weeklyâon Saturday and Sundayâregardless of whether the target is met. I hope you all understand my limitations. On the flip side, when I post updates even without targets being achieved, no one questions it, right? ð¥²
Then why after completing the target???
Anyways.
