(Ruhaaksh)
Rudraksh: "Ab maine kya galti kar di jo meri Ruhh mujhse thodi si naraz ho gayi hai???"
(What mistake did I make now that my Ruhh is a little upset with me?)
Rudraksh playfully brushed his nose against hers, a soft smile tugging at his lips as he asked in a gentle, teasing tone.
Ruhanika: "Hum thode se nahi bahaut naraz hai."
(Iâm not a little upset; Iâm very upset.)
Ruhanika stood with her hand on her waist, glaring at Rudraksh with all the intensity she could muster. Her pouty lips and furrowed brows might have looked intimidating to anyone else, but to Rudraksh, she was utterly adorable. Still, he knew better than to laughâit would only add fuel to the fire of her playful anger. Instead, he reached out gently, taking her hand off her waist and intertwining his fingers with hers before pulling her closer by the waist.
She placed her palms on his chest, her glare softening slightly but her pout still firmly in place. Her big, expressive eyes continued to bore into his as if silently scolding him, but Rudraksh couldnât help the warmth that spread in his chest. Suppressing the chuckle that threatened to escape, he leaned down and pecked her lips softly, breaking the tension in the most tender way possible.
The moment his lips touched hers, her bravado melted away, replaced by a shy smile that tugged at the corners of her mouth. Her cheeks flushed a pretty shade of pink as she quickly buried her face in his chest, trying to hide her embarrassment. Rudraksh chuckled softly, wrapping his arms around her protectively.
Rudraksh: "Kya ab bhi naraz hai Mallika-e-Aksh??"
(Are you still upset, my queen?)
Ruhanika shot him another look, her eyes narrowing into a sharp glare that carried a clear warning.
Ruhanika: "Haa naraz hai hum aapse, jhuth bola hai aapne humse."
(Yes, Iâm upset with you. You lied to me.)
Rudraksh's expression turned into a frown as he absorbed the allegations.
Rudraksh: "Kaise jhuth jaana??"
(How did I lie, sweetheart?)
Ruhanika: "Aapne kaha aapko vo French kiss karna nahi aata, phir hume abhi kaise kiss kiya aapne?? Vo bhi itni der tak."
(You said you didnât know how to French kiss. Then how did you kiss me just now? And for so long?)
Rudraksh's eyes widened in sheer disbelief. He was utterly shocked that after sharing such a beautiful and intimate moment in their lives, his wife had managed to bring up such an unexpected question. It left him completely flabbergasted, teetering on the edge of amusement and exasperation. For a moment, he simply stared at her, trying to process the absurdity of the situation. Should he laugh at the sheer innocence and timing of her query, or should he cry over his predicament? His wife had an uncanny ability to turn any heartfelt moment into a whirlwind of unexpectedness, and Rudraksh couldnât decide if he admired or feared it.
Ruhanika: "Bataiye, Varna hum baat nahi karenge aapse."
(Answer me, or I wonât talk to you.)
Rudraksh snapped out of his trance, a heavy sigh escaping his lips as he seemed to gather his scattered thoughts. He gently leaned forward, resting his forehead against hers in an intimate gesture of connection and comfort. His eyes fluttered shut for a moment, as if seeking solace in her presence, his breath mingling with hers in the quiet stillness.
Rudraksh: "Mera bhi first time hi tha jaana, but kuch cheeze pata hoti hai."
( It was my first time too, love. But some things just come naturally.)
Ruhanika: "Hume toh nahi pata, humne toh koshish bhi ki humse toh nahi hua."
(I donât know how. I even tried, but I couldnât do it.)
Rudraksh's lips curled into a tender smile, his eyes softening as he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead.
Rudraksh: "Main sikha dunga, sikhogi na??"
(Iâll teach you. Will you learn?)
Ruhanikaâs cheeks flushed a deep red once again, and she nodded shyly in response, her eyes avoiding his for a moment. Rudraksh couldnât help but gaze at her, mesmerized by the sight of her blushing face. To him, there was nothing more endearing, more beautiful than the way she looked right now. He felt an overwhelming surge of love and tenderness for her, realizing that he could look at this moment foreverâher cheeks flushed with innocence, her shy smile tugging at his heart. This was a sight heâd cherish for a lifetime, a reminder of their love that only deepened with every passing day.
Ruhanika: "Hum sikhenge, aur hum bhi aapko vaise hi prem karenge, chaliye sikhaiye."
(I will learn, and Iâll love you just the same. Go on, teach me.)
Rudraksh let out a soft chuckle, the sound rich with warmth and affection. He couldnât help but find the moment utterly charming.
Rudraksh: "Abhi??"
(Right now?)
Ruhanika: "Haan toh aur kab?? Baadme aap bhul gaye sikhana toh??"
(Yes, when else? What if you forget to teach me later?)
Rudraksh: "Tum keh rahi ho main abhi tumhe phir se kiss karu aur sikhau??"
(Youâre asking me to kiss you again and teach you?)
Ruhanika: "Haa toh vaise hi toh sikhenge na hum, sikhaiye."
(Yes, thatâs how Iâll learn, wonât I? Teach me.)
Ruhanika, feeling a playful surge of affection, pouted her lips towards Rudraksh, silently urging him to kiss her. However, instead of giving in immediately, he couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable gesture. Rudraksh leaned in and pecked her soft pout, his lips brushing hers in the briefest of kisses. He then lovingly caressed her cheeks, his fingers tracing the outline of her flushed skin.
Rudraksh: "Abhi nahi Sohneyo, aap Sikh jayengi dheere dheere par abhi chaliye andar Varna thand lag jayegi."
(Not now, love. Youâll learn gradually, but for now, letâs go inside, or youâll catch a cold.)
Ruhanika: "Par hume aapko prem karna hai."
(But I want to love you.)
Rudraksh felt a wave of immense joy wash over him, his heart swelling with love for Ruhanika. The way she expressed her affection, the way she sought to shower him with love, and the way she genuinely wanted to learn and grow for himâit was all overwhelming.
Her love was pure, untainted by any doubts, and it moved him deeply. Every little gesture, every smile, and even her innocent curiosity made him fall for her more with each passing moment. He couldn't help but think how lucky he was to have someone like her in his life, someone whose love was so vibrant, so genuine.
Rudraksh: "Achcha baba pehle change karlo, please Varna bimaar padh jaogi na?? Dobara dawaiya khani hai??"
(Okay, darling, but first, go change. Please, or youâll fall sick again. Do you want to take medicine again?)
Ruhanika shook her head softly.
Rudraksh: "Haa toh vaise hi itni patli si ho, aur bima....aaaanchooo."
(Youâre already so delicate, and now if you... achoo!)
Rudraksh pulled away from Ruhanika, suddenly sneezing multiple times while covering his nose. His face scrunched up in mild annoyance, but his attempts to stifle the sneezes only made it more amusing. Ruhanika, despite caring for him deeply, couldnât help but giggle at the sight. The sound of her laughter lightened the moment, and Rudraksh shot her a playful glare, though he couldnât hide the smile tugging at his lips.
Ruhanika: "Areh aap toh humari nazuk kali nikle, hume keh rahe hai hum patle hai aur aap toh."
(Oh, look at you, acting all tough. Youâre calling me delicate, but youâre the one sneezing.)
She couldnât hold back her laughter and giggled again, her playful teasing only making Rudraksh more determined. He reached out to grab her hand, but she quickly darted inside the room, laughing as she escaped. With a swift movement, Rudraksh followed, catching her effortlessly. He pulled her closer, his hand resting firmly on her waist as he held her in his arms.
Rudraksh: "Kya kaha mujhe nazuk k....aanchooo."
(What did you call me? Delic... achoo!)
Ruhanika giggled once more, as she looked at Rudraksh with a mischievous gleam in her eyes. She took her wet dupatta and gently wiped his face, the fabric brushing against his skin.
Ruhanika: "Rukiye hum aapke liye kadha banate hai toh......aachoooo."
(Wait, Iâll make you some herbal tea... achoo!)
Ruhanika and Rudraksh locked eyes, both bursting into laughter at the spontaneity of the moment. Their laughter filled the air with joy, and as they shared the lightheartedness between them, Rudraksh reached out, his fingers gently tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. The soft touch lingered for a moment, his gaze softening as he admired her, his heart swelling with affection for the woman who could bring such happiness into his life.
Rudraksh: "Go and change jaana, main dusre kamre me change kar leta hu."
(Go and change, love. Iâll change in another room.)
Ruhanika: "Phir hume Kiss karna sikhaiyega."
(Then youâll teach me how to kiss, right?)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, a mischievous glint in his eyes, as he gently turned Ruhanika around. With a playful yet gentle push, he started guiding her toward the closet, his touch light but firm.
Rudraksh: "Jaoo pehle Paglu."
(Go, silly.)
Ruhanika: "Arehh par hume.."
(But I want...)
Rudraksh: "Goo Ruhh"
Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle at Ruhanika's antics as he handed her another pair of clothes. He gently nudged her towards the washroom, closing the door behind her with a playful grin on his face. Her innocent yet determined nature always amused him. He shook his head affectionately, still smiling as he walked away to the other room to change. There was something about the way she got lost in her little worlds, always keeping him on his toes, that made his heart race with both affection and admiration. As he changed into his clothes, he couldn't wait for the moment when they'd be together again, sharing yet another beautiful, quiet moment in each otherâs company. The thought of her smile, her presence, always made everything feel so much brighter.
On the other side,
Ashvik stood behind a bungalow, his posture tense and uncertain. His gaze was fixed on the pipe in front of him, his eyes wide with fear as if something ominous lurked in the shadows. The quiet of the moment seemed to amplify the pounding of his heart, and he couldnât shake the unease that gripped him. His breath hitched as he stared at the pipe.
Ashvik: "Is Rishwik ki toh, security system hack kar sakta tha, lekin ghar ke andar jaane ka easy tarika nahi dundh sakta tha?? Gadha nalayak aadmi."
(This Rishwik! He can hack a security system but canât find an easy way into a house? What an idiot.)
Ashvik gulped nervously, his throat dry with fear as he continued to stare at the pipe. With trembling hands, he reached out and gripped it, testing its strength.
Ashvik: "Sahi salamat pohch gaya toh thik, Varna bhoot ban ke us Rishi ka jeena haram karunga, dono best friend ne zindagi barbaad kar rakhi hai meri, huhh."
(If I make it there safely, fine. If not, Iâll haunt that Rishi and make his life miserable. Both of my best friends have already ruined my life. Huh.)
After what felt like an eternity of self-talk and encouragement, Ashvik finally gathered the courage to make the climb. His heart raced, his palms were slick with rainwater, and every movement felt like it took an immense amount of effort. With a deep breath, he tucked the delicate flowers securely behind the waistband of his pants, ensuring they wouldnât fall, and then, to make sure he didnât drop anything, he placed the carry bag handle in his mouth.
The rain relentlessly poured down, making the already challenging climb even harder. His drenched clothes clung to his body, his muscles screamed in protest, but Ashvik didnât let that deter him. Slowly and steadily, with his hands gripping the slick pipe and his feet finding purchase wherever they could, he began to climb. His legs were slipping, and he could feel the cold water running down his back, but determination fueled him. Inch by inch, he fought against the rain, the slippery pipe, and his own exhaustion.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, he reached the top. With one last stretch, he hoisted himself over the railing and pulled himself onto the balcony. His heart hammered in his chest as he staggered to his feet, feeling the weight of the ordeal lift from his shoulders. Rishwik had given him a special tool to unlock the sliding door, and with shaking hands, Ashvik used it. The lock clicked open, and he carefully slid the door open, stepping into the room. The warmth inside hit him like a wave, and he took a moment to catch his breath. A relieved smile tugged at his lips, and he muttered a quiet prayer of thanks to the stars for keeping him safe through the whole ordeal.
Ashvik: "Jaan bachi toh laakho paye. Par kya is ladki se meri jaan bachegi??."
(Well, I made it out alive, but will I survive this girl?)
Ashvik quietly entered the room, his gaze immediately drawn to the sleeping figure on the bed, cocooned in the warmth of the duvet. The sight of her, so peaceful and unaware, made his heart skip a beat. He gently set the flowers and carry bags aside, taking a moment to steady himself before moving toward the bed. With soft steps, he approached the figure, his heart racing as he slowly knelt beside the bed. His knees sank into the floor with a quiet thud, and he gazed at the person before him, his emotions swirlingârelief, affection, and an overwhelming sense of devotion. The rain still dripped from his clothes, but he barely noticed, his focus entirely on the figure lying so contentedly before him.
Ashvik: "Tumhi ne kaha tha na Shavi ki is baar mujhe aana hoga, lo jaaneman aa gaya main."
(You told me, Shavi, that I had to come this time. Well, here I am, my love.)
Ashvik smiled softly, his heart swelling with tenderness as he reached out and gently caressed Akshvi's face. His fingertips grazed her skin, brushing away a stray lock of hair that had fallen across her forehead.
Ashvik: "Shaviii, meri jaan utho na."
(Shavi, my love, wake up.)
Ashvik gently shook Akshvi, just enough to stir her from her slumber. She fluttered her eyes open for a moment, disoriented, but then she turned over and snuggled deeper into the bed, settling on her back. Ashvik couldnât help but smile as he watched her, the peacefulness of her sleeping face filling him with admiration. He leaned down slightly, his fingers tenderly caressing her head, running through her hair with a soft, loving touch.
Ashvik: "Kitna pareshan kar diya na maine tumhe."
(Iâve caused you so much trouble, havenât I?)
Ashvik gently caressed her face again, his fingertips brushing over her soft skin. The sensation stirred Akshvi, and she slowly opened her eyes. For a brief moment, confusion clouded her gaze, but the instant she saw him, her eyes widened in surprise. She was about to scream, her breath catching in shock, but before she could, Ashvik quickly placed his hand over her mouth, silencing her. His touch was gentle, but firm, his eyes wide with urgency as he silently urged her to stay calm.
Ashvik: "Shhhh, Shavi bachcha main hu."
(Shhhh, Shavi, itâs me.)
Akshvi's wide eyes gradually softened as the shock wore off, and her expression shifted from fear to confusion, then slowly to calm. Ashvik kept his hand on her for a moment longer, his gaze steady as he watched her reactions. Once he saw her relax, he carefully removed his hand from her mouth, giving her space to breathe. Akshvi took a deep breath, processing what had just happened, and then, with a quiet motion, she sat up properly on the bed, her eyes now searching his face for answers.
Akshavi: "Aap yaha kya kar rahe hai, aap aaye kaise, vo bhi is waqt, kisi ne dekh liya na toh..."
(What are you doing here? How did you get in, and at this hour? What if someone sees you?)
Ashvik gently placed his finger on her lips, signaling for her to remain quiet. His touch was soft, yet there was a sense of calm authority in it, urging her to stay silent for a moment. His eyes locked onto hers, filled with a mixture of reassurance and something deeperâan unspoken promise that everything was alright.
Ashvik: "Shhhhhh, bahaut bolti ho tum, par aaj mujhe bolne do please."
(Shhhh, you talk too much. But tonight, let me talk, please.)
Akshvi folded her arms across her chest, turning her gaze away from Ashvik, her expression a mix of confusion and reluctance. She wasnât quite ready to face him just yet. Sensing her need for space, Ashvik quietly picked up the flowers and carry bags he had brought with him. With a deep breath, he knelt down on the floor before her, his movements slow and deliberate, his gaze soft but filled with determination. He placed the flowers gently in front of her, along with the carry bags, as a silent gesture of his presence and the care he had brought with him.
Ashvik: "I will not justify my actions, maine bahaut dil dukhaya hai tumhara, aur main maafi nahi sazaa mangta hu, please shavi mujhe meri harkaton ke liye sazaa dedo, bas saza ke taur par mujhe chod ke mat jaana. Tumne kaha tha is baar mujhe aana hoga, lo main aa gaya hu shavi tumhare pass hamesha ke liye, apnaogi kya mujhe?"
(I wonât justify my actions. I know Iâve hurt you deeply, and Iâm not here to ask for forgiveness. Iâm here to ask for punishment. But please, Shavi, whatever you do, donât leave me. You told me I had to come this time. Well, here I am, for good. Will you accept me?)
Akshvi continued to avoid looking at Ashvik, her body turned slightly away, leaving him feeling disheartened. The distance between them seemed more than just physical, and it tugged at his heart. Trying to mask his disappointment, Ashvik gently placed the flowers on her lap, followed by the carry bags, his fingers lingering for a moment as if hoping for some sign of acknowledgment.
Ashvik: "Ye tumhare favourite flowers and some novels, I know romance novels pasand hai tumhe but konsi vo nahi pata tha jo dikha le aaya. Janta hu nahi baat karogi par main koshish karta rahunga, abhi thak gayi ho na main chalta hu."
(These are your favorite flowers and some novels. I know you love romance novels, though I wasnât sure which ones, so I brought whatever I could find. I know you might not want to talk to me, but Iâll keep trying. You must be tired, so Iâll leave now.)
Ashvik stood up and began to turn, but before he could move any further, Akshavi reached out and gently grabbed his hand. Surprised, he watched as she slowly rose to her knees on the bed, her eyes filled with emotion. Without saying a word, she wrapped her arms around his torso, holding him in a tight embrace. Ashvik stood still, stunned by her sudden action, unsure of what to make of it. He felt a wave of warmth and tenderness wash over him as her arms held him so tightly, as if she was silently telling him everything she couldn't express in words. After a few moments, Akshavi pulled back, but Ashvik could see the tears glistening in her eyes.
Her expression broke his heart. The girl who was always so composed, who tried to be strong, couldn't even bring herself to stay angry at him. Ashvik's heart ached, and he instinctively cupped her face with both hands, gently wiping away her tears with his thumbs.
Ashvik: "Bachcha tum rona nahi main.."
(Baby, donât cry. I...)
Akshavi, still with tears in her eyes, hit softly against Ashvik's chest, her frustration and emotions spilling over. The gentle thud of her hand against him was a mixture of helplessness and a desire to release the tension she had been holding. She didnât need to say anything; her actions spoke louder than words.
Akshavi: "Bahaut bure hai aap, bahaut rulaya hai mujhe."
(Youâre so mean. Youâve made me cry so much.)
Ashvik smiled softly, his heart swelling with affection despite the emotions swirling between them. Without a word, he gently pulled her back into his embrace, holding her tighter this time, as if to shield her from everything weighing her down. The warmth of his arms around her felt like a silent promiseâhe wasnât going anywhere. In that moment, all the tension and unspoken feelings seemed to melt away, and all that remained was the quiet comfort of being together. Akshvi, now in his arms, felt the safety of his presence and the reassurance of his love.
Ashvik: "Janta hu, isiliye toh keh raha hu saza do mujhe."
(I know, and thatâs why I said you can punish me.)
Akshavi: "abhi bhi kyu bacha rahe ho unhe??"
(Why are you still protecting him?)
Ashvik: "Kise bachcha??"
(Protecting who, baby?)
Akshavi: "Main janti hu papa ne aapko kaha tha mujhse Durr rehne ko."
( I know my dad told you to stay away from me.)
Ashvikâs eyes widened in shock.
Ashvik: "Ye ...ye tum kya..."
(Wh... what are you saying?)
Akshavi: "Zyada baniye mat, janti hu main sab. Aapko kya laga main papa ko mana nahi leti jo aap unki baat man ke mujhse Durr ho gaye??"
(Donât act clueless. I know everything. Did you really think I wouldnât convince Dad if you had just stood by me?)
Akshavi gently pulled Ashvik down to sit beside her, her movements tender yet filled with a sense of longing for his closeness. She wrapped her arm around his biceps, holding him securely as if afraid to let go. Slowly, she placed her head on his shoulder, her breathing calming as she found comfort in his warmth. The quiet intimacy of the moment enveloped them both. Ashvik rested his head on top of hers, his hand gently caressing her arm.
Akshavi: "Naraz nahi hu aapse, bas niraash hu, ehsaas dilana chahti thi ki bas kuch bekaar ki cheezon ki vajah se aapse pyaar karna band nahi karungi main."
(Iâm not angry at you. Iâm just disappointed. I wanted you to realize that I wouldnât stop loving you over some petty obstacles.)
Ashvik, held her hand that was wrapped around his biceps, his fingers gently caressing it as he leaned down. With a soft, tender movement, he pressed a gentle kiss to the top of Akshavi's head, his lips lingering for a moment, savoring the quiet intimacy of the gesture.
Ashvik: "Ha ho gaya hai Ehsaas ki nahi reh paunga tumhare bina, aur is baar uncle bhi mana nahi kar payenge."
(Iâve realized it, baby. I canât live without you anymore, and this time, even your dad wonât be able to stop me.)
Both sat in silence for a few minutes, the only sound between them the soft rhythm of their breathing. The quiet intimacy of the moment allowed the weight of unspoken words to hang in the air, both of them finding comfort in simply being near each other. Ashvik, feeling the need to break the silence, finally spoke, his voice gentle yet filled with sincerity.
Ashvik: "Bachcha tumhe kuch batana hai."
(Baby, I have something to tell you.)
Akshavi: "Sab janti hu main Mr. Ashvik Rajpurohit."
(I know everything, Mr. Ashvik Rajpurohit.)
Ashvik: "IÂ swear Iâm not going to let Rishi off the hook this time. Your best friend is driving me crazy"
Akshavi giggled softly, her laughter light and a welcome sound in the stillness of the room. She pulled away slightly, sitting up straight in front of Ashvik, a playful glint returning to her eyes as she looked at him. The tension in the air seemed to dissipate with her giggle, and the mood lightened.
Akshavi: "Mera best friend mujhse kaise kuch chupa sakta hai."
(How could my best friend hide something from me?)
Ashvik: "But tum ye toh nahi samajhti na ki sach janne ke baat main yaha tumhe....."
(But you do understand that even after knowing the truth, Iâm here for you...)
Akshavi, gently placed her hand over Ashvik's mouth, her fingers soft against his skin. It was a silent plea for him to stay quiet.
Akshavi: "Main aapki tarah pagal nahi hu, sachche pyaar ka ehsaas janti hu main, aapki aakhon me dikhta hai. Ab aap hai hi buddhu aur itna waqt lagaya samjhne me toh isme meri galti nahi hai, huhh."
(Iâm not as foolish as you. I can sense true love. I see it in your eyes. Youâre the one who took so long to realize it. Thatâs not my fault, huh.)
Ashvik: "Ohhh Ms. Akshavi Rajshree is smart haaa."
(Oh, Ms. Akshavi Rajshree is so smart, huh?)
Akshavi:Â "And soon-to-be Mrs. Rajpurohit.. "
Ashvik: "Only if we get married like a normal couple."
Akshavi: "matlab??"
(What do you mean?)
Ashvik: "I know your stupid Fantasy of bhaag ke shadi karna, matlab kya bewakoofi hai ye."
(I know about your silly fantasy of eloping to get married. What kind of nonsense is that?)
Akshavi: "Mujhe meri nanad se milna hai kab Mila rahe ho Ruhi se??"
(I want to meet my sister-in-law, Ruhi. When are you introducing me to her?)
Akshavi, however, completely ignored his words. Ashvik, couldnât help but glare at her.
Ashvik: "Nahi manogi na??"
(You wonât give up, will you?)
Akshavi: "Batao na kab Milne aau Ruhi se??"
(Tell me! When can I meet Ruhi?)
Once again, Akshavi completely ignored Ashvik's words. After a moment of silence, he couldnât help but chuckle softly, a mix of disbelief and amusement in his laugh.
Ashvik: "Abhi bahar walo se thoda darti hai vo, jaldi hi use tumhare baare me bataunga, aur milane le chalunga."
(Sheâs still a bit scared around outsiders. But soon, Iâll tell her about you and take you to meet her.)
Akshavi: "Okayyyyy"
Akshavi, with a sudden burst of energy, excitedly jumped onto her bed, her laughter filling the room for a moment. But just as quickly, she stopped, sitting still and looking at Ashvik.
Akshavi: "Heyy bhagwan aap toh pure gile hai Sugarpieeeee, Ruko main towel lekar aati hu."
(Oh no, youâre completely drenched, Sugarpie! Wait, Iâll get a towel.)
As Akshavi stepped down from the bed, ready to move, Ashvik reached out and gently held her hand, his grip firm yet tender. She paused, looking at him.
Ashvik: "Nahi, main nikalta hu niche vapas bheeg hi jaunga. "
(No, Iâll leave. If I go downstairs, Iâll get wet again anyway.)
Akshavi: "Arehh par abhi toh aaye the.."
(But you just got here...)
Ashvik: "Kal phir milunga bachcha, abhi jaata hu der raat ho gayi hai."
(Iâll meet you tomorrow, baby. Itâs late now.)
Akshavi: "Thik hai par main bata rahi hu aapko kal mujhe bahaut manana hoga, main bahaut royi hu."
(Fine, but tomorrow, youâll have to make it up to me. I cried a lot.)
Ashvik: "Jo hukum janeman."
(As you wish, my love.)
Ashvik, in a playful and slightly dramatic gesture, bowed deeply in front of Akshavi, his eyes glinting with mischief. Akshavi, caught off guard, blushed slightly at his unexpected display, her cheeks turning a soft pink as she shyly looked away for a moment. Later, as Ashvik prepared to leave, he moved towards the window, but before he could make his way out, Akshavi stood up and walked over to him. With a small smile, she helped him, guiding him toward the door instead.
Here,
Ruhanika returned to the room, her eyes immediately falling on Rudraksh sitting on the bed in nothing but a vest and sweatpants. Her gaze lingered on him for a moment before she shook her head with a soft smile, knowing exactly what she needed to do. Without a word, she turned back and made her way to the closet, emerging a moment later with a hoodie in her hands. Walking towards him, Ruhanika looked down at Rudraksh, who had been watching her with a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He could feel her care and concern radiating off her, and he smiled warmly at her. But before he could say anything, Ruhanika gently tugged the hoodie from his neck, silently instructing him to put his arms into it.
Rudraksh, understanding her intent, complied without hesitation. He raised his arms, letting her slide the hoodie over his head. She was careful, her hands steady as she guided his arms through the sleeves, ensuring it fit perfectly. She pulled the hoodie down over his chest, she looked up at him, meeting his eyes with a soft, loving gaze..
Rudraksh: "Ye kya??"
(What is this??)
Ruhanika: "ye kya ka kya matlab hai, itne bheege the aur ab yaha aise kum kapdo me baithe hai thand lag jayegi na vaise hi chheekein aa rahi hai aapko."
(What do you mean what is this? You were so drenched, and now you're sitting here in such thin clothesâyou'll catch a cold. You're already sneezing.)
Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle at the way Ruhanika was scolding him, her words filled with both frustration and amusement. Her fiery expression, paired with her unfiltered remarks, made him smile, even though he knew he was at the receiving end of her ire. Ruhanika, noticing his amused reaction, shot him a glare, her eyes narrowing in a playful yet serious warning.
Ruhanika: "Aap phir hase hum pe."
(You're laughing at me again!)
Rudraksh, still chuckling at her glare, couldn't resist the playful moment any longer. With a mischievous grin, he gently pulled Ruhanika onto his lap, surprising her with the suddenness of the move. She let out a soft gasp, caught off guard, but her eyes quickly softened as she found herself facing him.
Rudraksh: "Chheekh toh aapko bhi aa rahi thi na Jaan-e-aksh, toh uska kya??"
(But werenât you sneezing too, my Jaan-e-Aksh? What about that?)
Ruhanika, now comfortably settled in Rudrakshâs lap, wrapped her dupatta around herself, adjusting it with a playful grin.
Ruhanika: "Lijiye ho gaya."
(See, it's done)
Rudraksh, unable to resist the playful moment, rubbed his nose against Ruhanika's in an affectionate gesture. The light touch of their noses meeting sent a small spark of warmth between them, but just as quickly, both of them were caught off guard by simultaneous sneezes.
Rudraksh, Ruhanika: "Aanchoooo"
They pulled back slightly, looked at each other, both caught in the absurdity of the moment, and chuckled in unison.
Ruhanika: "Aap yahi rukiye hum kaadha bana ke le aate hai.."
(Wait here, Iâll go make some herbal tea for you.)
Before Ruhanika could even think about standing up, Rudraksh swiftly rose to his feet, lifting her effortlessly in his arms. Startled for a moment, Ruhanika instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck. Rudraksh, with a playful yet affectionate grin, began to move toward the door, carrying her with ease. His steps were steady, his hold on her secure, and the quiet intimacy between them only grew as they moved through the room.
Ruhanika: "Kya kar rahe hai??"
(What are you doing??)
Rudraksh: "Tumhara kadva kadha nhi peena mujhe, chalo tumhe hot chocolate pilata hu."
(Iâm not drinking your bitter herbal tea. Letâs go. Iâll make you some hot chocolate.)
Ruhanika: "Garam chocolate??"
(Warm chocolate?)
Rudraksh: "Garam nahi hot chocolate Ruhh."
(Not warmâhot chocolate, Ruhh.)
Ruhanika: "Toh hot matlab garam hi toh hota hai."
(But hot means warm, doesnât it?)
Rudraksh chuckled softly.
Rudraksh: "Haa thik hai, chalo garam chocolate pilata hu."
(Fine, letâs call it warm chocolate.)
Ruhanika: "Toh chalne ke liye niche toh utariye, aap khud hi hume utha ke le rahe hai."
(But to go, you need to put me down! Why are you carrying me like this?)
Rudraksh: "Tumhe chalna hai toh chal ke jao, meri Mallika-e-Aksh toh isi tarah jayengi."
(If you want to walk, go ahead. But my Queen of Aksh will only travel this way.)
Ruhanika blushed deeply, feeling a rush of warmth as she buried her face shyly in Rudraksh's neck. The sudden gesture elicited a soft chuckle from him, his heart fluttering at the sight of her sweet, bashful reaction. As he carried her through the house, the moment felt so intimate and carefree. Soon, they reached the kitchen, and with a gentle but firm motion, Rudraksh carefully sat her on the kitchen slab, making sure she was comfortable.
Ruhanika: "Areh hume kyu bitha diya aapne, hum banate hai na aap bas bata dijiye."
(Why did you make me sit down? I can make it; just tell me how!)
Rudraksh leaned in closer to Ruhanika, his face just inches away from hers, as both of his arms rested on either side of her waist, creating an intimate bubble between them. The closeness of his body against hers sent a soft shiver down her spine, and she could feel the warmth of his presence all around her.
Rudraksh: "Nahi jaana, aap pehle bahaut kuch Sikh chuki hai aaj, baaki baadme."
(No need. You've already learned a lot today. The rest can wait.)
Ruhanika: "Hum kaha sikhe?? Humne bola par aapne kaha aap badme sikhayenge, par kab sikhayenge??"
(What did I learn?? I only asked, and you said you'd teach me later. When will you teach me??)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, his breath warm against Ruhanikaâs skin as he leaned his head gently into the crook of her neck. The simple gesture was filled with tenderness, a silent expression of affection and comfort. Ruhanika, smiling warmly, began to caress his head with her fingers, her touch gentle and soothing.
Rudraksh: "Sohneyo tussi manoge nahi na bina sikhe??"
(Beautifu, wonât you let it go without learning??)
Ruhanika: "Matlab nahi sikhayenge??"
(So, you wonât teach me?)
Rudraksh slowly pulled back, his eyes still locked on hers, a soft smile playing on his lips. His hand gently rested on her waist.
Rudraksh: "Sikh jaogi jaana, karte karte."
(Youâll learn it, Jaana, little by little, as we go along.)
Ruhanika: "toh kab karenge??"
(When will we do it?)
Rudraksh looked at Ruhanika with wide eyes, a playful realization dawning on him. This girl is definitely obsessed with kisses, he thought, amused by her forwardness. But then, the mischievous side of him kicked in. A smirk slowly spread across his lips as he leaned in just a little closer, eyes glinting with teasing intent. Ruhanika noticed the change in his expression and raised an eyebrow, a knowing smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
Rudraksh: "Rozzzz raat ko."
(Every night.)
Rudraksh leaned in closer, his voice low and husky as he teased, and before she could respond, he planted a soft, teasing peck on her lips. Ruhanika's face instantly flushed with a deep blush, her heart fluttering at the unexpected kiss. She quickly lowered her head, her fingers nervously fidgeting with her dupatta, trying to hide her flustered expression.
Ruhanika: "vo aa..aap, hot chocolate bana rahe the, banaiye na."
(Youâre... you're making hot chocolate, right? Please focus on that.)
Rudraksh, seeing the blush spreading across Ruhanikaâs face, couldnât resist the urge to tease her a little more. With a playful smile, he leaned in and placed a soft, lingering kiss on her cheek. The gentle touch of his lips sent a wave of warmth through her, and she felt her cheeks grow even hotter.
Rudraksh: "Kyu tumhi ne toh kaha tha kiss karne."
(Didnât you say you wanted to learn kissing?)
Ruhanika: "Ye wala nahi kaha tha humne."
(Not this kind of learning!)
Rudraksh: "Toh konsa wala Jaana??"
(Then what kind, Jaana?)
Rudraksh, his eyes filled with affection, couldnât resist the urge to shower her with more gentle affection. With a playful glint in his eyes, he leaned in closer and kissed the tip of Ruhanikaâs nose.
Ruhanika, unable to contain the overwhelming warmth and affection bubbling inside her, suddenly wrapped her arms around Rudraksh in a tight hug. The softness of her embrace melted any teasing energy left between them, and Rudraksh smiled, feeling a deep sense of comfort and love wash over him. He gently wrapped his arms around her in return, holding her close.
Ruhanika: "Jaan ke tang bahaut karte hai aap hume, mat bataiye hume sharam aa....aanchoo."
(You always tease me. Donât tell me! Iâm embarrassedâachoo!)
Rudraksh, still smiling softly, placed a gentle kiss on the top of Ruhanikaâs head and he slowly pulled back.
Rudraksh: "Baitho yaha main hot chocolate banata hu."
(Sit down. Iâll make the hot chocolate.)
Ruhanika: "Zyada meetha banaiyega."
( Make it sweet, okay?)
Rudraksh: "Haan ji Meri Meethi meethi Ruhh."
(Yes, my sweet, Sweet Ruhh.)
Rudraksh shook his head, a soft chuckle escaping his lips at the way Ruhanika was grinning at him. He turned toward the stove, his movements fluid as he placed the container on it and began adding the ingredients, his focus entirely on the task at hand. The way he worked with such ease and precision caught Ruhanikaâs attention, and she couldnât help but admire the way he movedâso effortlessly, so sure of himself. But as much as she was lost in the moment, Ruhanikaâs playful nature couldnât be suppressed for long.
Ruhanika: "Hum baatein kare aapse?? Hume baithe baithe achcha nahi lag raha."
(Can I talk to you? Sitting here feels boring.)
Rudraksh: "Haa Ruhh bolo na."
(Of course, Ruhh, tell me.)
Rudraksh, with a mischievous grin, dipped a piece of chocolate into the container and carefully smeared a little on Ruhanikaâs nose. His eyes twinkled with amusement as he watched her, waiting for her reaction. Ruhanika blinked in surprise, then her lips curved into a playful smile. Without missing a beat, she picked up some chocolate herself and, with a quick movement, smeared it on Rudraksh's nose. The playful exchange made them both burst into laughter, the sound light and carefree, echoing in the quiet room.
Ruhanika: "Aap humse pareshan nahi hote??"
(Donât you ever get annoyed with me?)
Rudraksh noticed the subtle change in Ruhanikaâs expression, her brow furrowed in thought, and he could tell her overthinking mind was at work again. A small frown of confusion creased his forehead as he looked at her, sensing she was lost in her own thoughts, likely spiraling into worries that didnât need to be there. Without saying a word, he lowered the flame on the stove, his movements calm and reassuring. He then stepped closer to her, positioning himself between her legs and gently wrapping his arms around her waist. His presence was grounding, and he knew she needed that comfort right now.
Rudraksh: "Main aapse pareshan kyu hounga Meri Ruhh??"
(Why would I get annoyed with you, my Ruhh?)
Ruhanika: "Kyuki hum toh kitne sawaal karte hai aapse, hum kuch jante bhi nahi hai pati patni ke rishte ke baare. Sab kuch aap hi hume batate hai. Humne dekha hai bhaisa aur bhabhisa ko, dono me bahaut prem hai vo toh sawaal bhi nahi karti humari tarah."
(Because I ask you so many questions. I donât know anything about being a husband and wife. Youâre always the one teaching me. Iâve seen Bhai-sa and Bhabhi-sa; theyâre so loving, and she doesnât ask questions like me.)
Ruhanika lowered her head, her thoughts spilling out in a quiet stream, unsure but needing to express herself. No doubt, her words felt like nonsense to her, but Rudraksh didn't stop her. He wanted to hear every thought she had, to understand the depths of her heart. With a soft smile, he gently cupped her face, lifting her gaze to meet his. His touch was tender, his thumb brushing lightly against her skin as he caressed her face. Then, with a loving tenderness, he leaned in and kissed her forehead. The kiss was gentle and full of affection, a silent reassurance that she didn't need to doubt herself, that her words, no matter how uncertain, were always worth hearing to him.
Rudraksh: "Kya ab bhi tumhe laga ki main pareshan hu tumse??"
(Do you really think I get annoyed with you?)
Ruhanika: "Nahi, hume aisa kabhi nahi laga par hum bas puch rahe the aapse."
(No, Iâve never felt that way. I was just asking.)
Rudraksh: "Toh jaana jab aapko Aisa kabhi nahi laga toh aap sochti kyu hai ye sab bekaar ki baatein??"
(Then, Jaana, if youâve never felt that way, why are you thinking about such silly things?)
Ruhanika: "Hum kya kare humare dimag me aa jaata hai sab."
(I donât know; these thoughts just come to my mind.)
Rudraksh: "Ye jo aapka pea size dimaag hai na ise araam dijiye thoda, sochne samajhne ka kaam mera, mazaak Masti ka kaam aapka thik??"
(This pea-sized brain of yours needs rest! Let me do all the thinking and worrying. You handle the teasing and fun, okay?)
Ruhanika: "thik, par aap vaada kijiye aap hume pati patni ke rishte ke baare me sab samjhayenge."
(Okay, but promise me youâll teach me everything about being husband and wife.)
Rudraksh, still holding her close, with a soft chuckle, he gently rubbed his nose against hers, his smile widening as he felt the softness of her skin.
Rudraksh: "Jii Ruhh sab samjhaunga dheere dheere, chinta mat karo."
(Of course, Ruhh. Iâll teach you everything, slowly. Donât worry.)
Ruhanika grinned. With a soft chuckle, he turned to the stove where a pot of hot chocolate simmered. He stirred it gently, the warm aroma filling the room.
Ruhanika: "Vaise aap hume kiss karna kab sikhayenge?? Aur kaha sikhayenge?? Yaha kitchen me abhi ya bistar pe???"
(By the way, when will you teach me how to kiss? And where will you teach meâhere in the kitchen or on the bed?)
Rudraksh closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath, letting the warmth of the moment settle in. He then slowly opened his eyes and turned to look at Ruhanika, his gaze soft and full of affection.
Rudraksh: "Jaana, kya please hum aaj kiss ke baare me baat nahi kare please??"
(Jaana, can we please not talk about kissing today?)
Ruhanika: "Thik hai par aap vada kijiye aap hume roz kiss karenge tabhi hum sikhenge."
(Fine, but promise youâll kiss me every day so I can learn.)
Rudrakshâs eyes widened in shock.
Rudraksh: "Rozz??"
(Every day??)
Ruhanika: "Jiii"
(Yes!)
Rudraksh gulped, his eyes momentarily wide with hesitation, but he quickly nodded his head, trying to hide his sudden nervousness. Ruhanika, eager to help, reached out toward the utensils, but before her hand could touch them, Rudraksh gently held her wrist.
Rudraksh: "Jaana jal jaogi kya kar rahi ho??"
(Jaana, what are you doing? Youâll burn yourself!)
Ruhanika: "Nahi jalenge, but halka sa chu kar dekh rahe the, sab karte hai chinta mat kijiye."
(Iâm just touching lightly to check. Everyone does it; donât worry.)
Rudraksh: "Sab pagal hai par meri Ruhh nahi, ruko tum."
(Everyone may be crazy, but not my Ruhh. Wait, you!)
Rudraksh poured the rich, steaming hot chocolate into two cups, the warmth filling the air with a comforting aroma. He handed one cup to Ruhanika with a soft smile, his eyes locking with hers as their fingers brushed lightly. Then, without a word, he moved to stand between her legs, the space between them shrinking as he leaned in closer.
Rudraksh: "toh Mallika-e-Aksh ko aadhi raat ke dessert ke roop me pesh hai Hot chocolate, bataiye aapko kaisa laga Meri Rajkumari ji??"
(Presenting, for the queen of Aksh at midnight, the dessertâhot chocolate! How does it taste, my princess?)
Ruhanika couldnât help but giggle at Rudrakshâs playful antics. She took a sip of the hot chocolate, and as the rich, velvety taste hit her, her face instantly transformed into a huge smile. Her happiness couldnât be contained, and without thinking, she leaned in and kissed Rudraksh on the cheek.
Ruhanika: "Bahaut swadisht hai ye, aapke haathon me toh bahaut swaad hai."
(Itâs delicious! You have magic in your hands.)
Rudraksh: "Tumse Kum hai, par haa achcha khasa bana leta hu."
(Not as much as you, but yes, I do pretty well.)
As they stayed there, sipping their hot chocolate, and talking.
Ruhanika: "Kyu sikha aapne??"
(Why did you learn it?)
Rudraksh: "Rishwik aur Ashvik dono bhi nazuk hai jaldi bimaar ho jate the bachpan me aur dawai lene me nakhre karte the tab sikha tha."
(Rishwik and Ashvik were delicate as kids and often fell sick. They refused to take their medicines, so I learned back then.)
Ruhanika: "Aap bahaut Prem karte hai na sabse??"
(You really love everyone, donât you?)
Rudraksh: "Aur tha hi kon mera?? Yehi sab toh meri duniya hai, inki parwaah toh karunga hi na, kisi aur ko khone ki himmat jo nahi hai ab mujhme."
(Who else did I have? This is my whole world. Of course, Iâll care for themâI donât have the strength to lose anyone else.)
Rudraksh's thoughts drifted into the past, and his face softened, his expression tinged with sadness as memories resurfaced. Ruhanika, noticing the change in his demeanor, could sense that something was troubling him, something that was making him sad. She hated seeing him like thisâhe had always made so much effort to put her at ease, to keep her smiling. Now, seeing him lost in thought, weighed down by his emotions, she knew she had to do something to snap him out of it.
Without overthinking, she decided to use her usual "pea-sized brain" as he liked to call it. With a mischievous grin, she leaned up and planted a quick, unexpected peck on his lips. Rudrakshâs eyes widened in shock, caught completely off guard by her bold move.
Rudraksh: "Yellowww????"
Ruhanika: "Sabse pehle ye rangon ke naam se mat bulaiye hume."
(First of all, donât call me by the names of colors!)
Rudraksh: "Toh ye achanak se ye k...kiss kyu??"
(Then why the sudden kiss?)
Ruhanika: "Bataya tha na hum apna prem jatana chahte hai, aur prem toh hume aap par har waqt aata hai, abhi bhi aaya toh humne jata diya."
(I told youâI want to express my love. And I feel love for you all the time. I just expressed it again.)
Rudraksh sensed the subtle shift in Ruhanikaâs energy as she carefully steered the conversation away from anything that might bring up painful memories. He could feel her efforts to shield him, her desire to keep the mood light and easy, and it warmed his heart. Despite her cheerful demeanor, he knew she was trying to protect him from his own thoughts. As their hot chocolate cups emptied, he gently placed them aside, his fingers lingering on the edge of the table for a moment.
Rudraksh: "Ab main dikhau apna prem??"
(Should I express mine now?)
Ruhanika: "Dikhaiye."
(Go ahead.)
Ruhanika, her eyes sparkling with excitement, exclaimed. Rudraksh grinned mischievously, lifting her up in his arms once more. He began to spin her gently, and their laughter filled the room. Ruhanika clutched his hoodie tightly, trying to steady herself as the world around her blurred in a joyful whirl. The carefree giggles echoed between them, their hearts light with happiness.
Ruhanika: "Humara toh sar ghum raha hai, ruk jaiye."
(My head is spinning! Please stop.)
Rudraksh finally stopped spinning, gently placing Ruhanika back on the kitchen slab. Both of them took a moment to catch their breath, their chests rising and falling in unison from the playful rush. Ruhanikaâs cheeks were flushed with a mix of laughter and excitement, and Rudraksh couldn't help but smile at the sight of her, his own heart still racing a bit from the fun they had just shared.
Ruhanika: "der raat ho gayi hai, chaliye so Jate hai, aap thak gaye honge."
(Itâs late. Letâs sleep. You must be tired.)
Rudraksh: "Tumhare sath waqt bitane se main kaise thak sakta hu Sohneyo."
(How can I be tired of spending time with you, Sohneyo?)
Rudraksh leaned in closer to Ruhanika, his face just inches away from hers, his eyes locking onto hers with that familiar intensity. She looked up at him, a shy smile playing on her lips, the kind of smile that always made his heart skip a beat and pulled him closer to her. Unable to resist, he leaned in and placed a soft, gentle peck on her lips. Before he could pull back, Ruhanika wrapped her arms around him in a sudden, sweet embrace. Surprised but happy, Rudraksh smiled, his arms instinctively wrapping around her in return, pulling her closer to him. The warmth of the hug settled between them, and for a few moments, they just stood there, enjoying the quiet closeness.
Ruhanika: "Dekhiye aaj hum bahaut sharma chuke hai, ab humare gaalon me bhi dard hai, aap mat tang kijiye hume."
(I've blushed too much today. My cheeks hurt. Stop teasing me!)
Rudraksh smiled warmly, his heart full of affection as he effortlessly lifted Ruhanika in his arms once again. She smiled, feeling the security and warmth of his embrace as he carried her. Without a word, he began walking toward their room, his steps steady and sure. Ruhanika nestled against him, her arms still loosely around his neck, feeling completely safe and cherished in his arms.
Rudraksh: "Vaise toh mera man aur tha aapko tang karne ka Meri Ruhhh, par thik hai ab baaki kal."
(I still feel like teasing you more, Meri Ruhhh, but fine. I'll save it for tomorrow.
Ruhanika: "Kitne shaitaan hai na aap, koi apni biwi ko aise tang karta hai kya??"
(You're so mischievous! Who teases their wife like this?)
Rudraksh: "Agar biwi sharme waqt itni pyaari lage toh baakio ka pata nahi main toh karunga tang."
(If my wife looks this adorable while blushing, I definitely will!)
Ruhanika: "Hayy humare Shiv ji, kuch buddhi dijiye inhe, Varna hum toh jeevan bhar bas sharmate hi reh jayenge."
(Oh, Lord Shiva, please grant him some wisdom, or I'll spend my life blushing.)
Rudraksh chuckled loudly, the sound echoing with joy as he crossed the threshold into their room and he stepped inside.
Rudraksh: "Jaana darwaza lock karna."
(Lock the door, Jaana.)
Ruhanika locked the door with a soft click, securing their little world together before Rudraksh gently placed her on the bed. He sat down beside her, his heart still light from their playful moments. Just as he was about to lay down, Ruhanika surprised him by wrapping her arms around his torso and resting her head on his chest.
Rudraksh: "Kya hua yellow??"
(What happened, Yellow?)
Ruhanika: "Vo hume bas aapke pass rehne ka dil kar raha hai, isi tarah se aapke kareeb."
(I just wanted to stay close to you, like this.)
Rudraksh smiled softly, his heart swelling with warmth as he wrapped his arms around Ruhanika tightly, pulling her closer to him. Her presence was everything he needed in that momentâcomforting and reassuring. He could feel the steady rhythm of her breath against his chest, the quiet intimacy surrounding them like a cocoon.
Rudraksh: "Aur phir tum kahogi ki main tumhe tang karta hu."
(And then youâll say Iâm teasing you.)
Ruhanika: "Vo toh karte hi hai aap, usme kehna kya hai??"
(Well, you do tease me. Thatâs a fact.)
Rudraksh: "Achcha main tang karta hu, ruko tum."
(Oh, I tease you? Wait.)
Rudraksh grinned playfully as he gently turned Ruhanika to face him, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Hovering over her, he began planting soft, playful kisses all over her faceâher forehead, her cheeks, and finally, her lips. Each kiss was filled with affection, and in between, he rubbed his cheek against hers, creating a tender, almost ticklish sensation. Ruhanika burst into laughter, the sound ringing through the room as she tried to squirm away, but Rudraksh didnât stop. He continued his gentle onslaught of affection, clearly enjoying the sight of her laughing uncontrollably, his heart full of love for her.
Ruhanika: "Achcha achcha thik hai aap nahi karte tang, bas kijiye ab has has ke humare gaalon me dard hai."
(Okay, okay, fine. You donât tease me. Now, please stop laughingâmy cheeks are hurting!)
Ruhanika gasped between her fits of laughter, trying to catch her breath as she playfully said. But the moment she spoke, Rudraksh stopped, his eyes shifting from playful to intense. His gaze locked onto hers, filled with such depth and warmth that it made her heart flutter. She could see the love in his eyesâso pure, so unwaveringâthat for a moment, she felt overwhelmed. Her breath caught in her throat, and she quickly hid her face in her hands, unable to handle the intensity of his stare. The love in his eyes made her feel so vulnerable, yet cherished, and she couldnât quite believe that someone could love her with such sincerity.
Ruhanika: "Aap so jaiye na"
(Go to sleep now.)
Rudraksh couldnât help but grin, thoroughly enjoying the effect his gaze had on Ruhanika. Seeing her flustered, trying to hide her face, only fueled his playful side. He leaned in closer, his breath warm against her ear, and with a husky tone, he whispered.
Rudraksh: "Aur nahi soya toh kya karogi Jaana??"
(And if I donât, Jaana?)
Ruhanika, feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment, suddenly wrapped her arms around Rudrakshâs neck, pulling him into a tight embrace. The suddenness of her actions caught him off guard, and before he could process what was happening, he found himself lying on top of her. For a second, everything was stillâthen, as if to soothe him, Ruhanika began gently patting his back, her fingers tenderly running through his hair.
Ruhanika: "Shh so jaiye, so jaiye Akshhh."
(Shh! Go to sleep, Akshhh!)
Rudraksh was taken by surprise at first, his eyes wide with shock as Ruhanika wrapped her arms around him so suddenly. He burst out laughing, his chuckles echoing in the room, amused at how she had caught him off guard with her antics. Ruhanika, in turn, tightened her grip around his neck, unwilling to let him escape. He couldnât help but laugh harder at her playful determination.
Ruhanika: "Jante hai aap phir tang karenge hume, isiliye hum pehle aapko sula denge phir so jayenge."
(I know youâll tease me again, so Iâll make sure you sleep first!)
Rudraksh: "Achcha Jaan-e-aksh main nahi karunga tang, ab chodo mujhe."
(Fine, Jaan-e-Aksh. I wonât tease you. Now let go of me.)
Ruhanika: "Nahi, hum jante hai aapko bahaut mazaa aata hai hume satane me."
(No, I know you enjoy teasing me too much.)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, the sound rich with affection as he gently held Ruhanika's waist. With a smooth motion, he turned, bringing them both to lie down on the bed. Now, he was on his back, and Ruhanika was resting on top of him, her body gently pressed against his. The quiet intimacy between them was almost palpable as he pulled the duvet over them, enveloping them in its warmth.
Rudraksh: "Jaana??"
Ruhanika: "Hum so chuke hai, shubh ratri."
(Iâm already asleep. Goodnight.)
Rudraksh chuckled softly again. As he gazed at Ruhanika, he couldnât resist the urge to kiss the top of her head.
Rudraksh: "Good night."
Ruhanika, with a soft smile, leaned in and kissed Rudraksh's cheek, her lips lingering for just a second. Her eyes were closed, and she let the gentle warmth of the moment wash over her. After the sweet kiss, she settled back into his embrace, resting her head once again on his chest.
Ruhanika: "Good night."
Ruhanika slept peacefully in Rudraksh's arms, her breathing slow and steady, a contented smile playing on her lips as she drifted into a deep, restful sleep. Rudraksh, however, couldn't take his eyes off her. He lay there, mesmerized by the serene beauty of her face, the soft glow of the moonlight casting gentle shadows on her features.
Rudraksh POV,
As I sat there, simply watching her face, I felt a deep sense of solace, something I had been yearning for in silence for so long. I couldn't help but reflect on how foolish I had been on the day of our wedding. I had failed to recognize the depth of her innocence, the quiet strength in her eyes, the purity of her heart. Now, as I think back, a wave of guilt washes over me for not acknowledging her true worth then. But I am determined to make up for it. I will ensure that she lives her life the way she deserves, filled with love, freedom, and joyâexactly as she has always wished for.
Today, I witnessed something in her that I had never seen beforeâa strength I had fully appreciated. I realized that my Mallika-e-Aksh, the woman I hold dear, is far stronger than I ever imagined. She faced her fears head-on today, stepping out of her comfort zone not for herself, but for me. She fought her inner demons with such courage, proving to herself and to me that she is capable of so much more than I ever realized. And now, I vow to protect her, to fight for her, and to make sure that those who have caused her painâthose who have fueled her fears and insecuritiesâwill pay for every moment she has lost because of them. They will face the consequences of their actions, and I will make sure that they pay for every year she spent in torment, and for all the suffering that Ashvik has endured because of their greed.
But before any of that, I need to work harderâharder to ensure that my Sohneyo, my precious love, can overcome her inner demons, heal from the scars they left, and grow into the woman she is meant to be. The woman who is strong, confident, and I am proud to say that she is my lady. I kissed her head again, whispering my promise into the quiet of the room, a promise that I will stand by her, fight for her, and cherish her in every way possible.
I just canât seem to keep my emotions in check when sheâs around me. This feeling is so new, something Iâve never experienced before. Iâve never loved anyone with this kind of depth, this intensity. But with her, itâs different. With her, I feel truly alive. Today, she cried because she felt my love through our first kiss, and it broke me to see her so vulnerable, so moved. But donât worry, my love. Iâll make sure you always feel my loveâthrough every small gesture, every big moment. Youâll never doubt it, but you canât cry, jaan. Main nahi vekh sakda tainu rondiyan hoyi, dil dukhta hai. Teri eh dimple wali smile hi changi lagdi hai is pyare masoom chehre te, samjhi na? Roya na kar meri paglu.
(I canât bear to see you in tears. My heart aches when I see you like that. Your dimpled smile is the only thing that looks perfect on your sweet, innocent faceâunderstand? Donât cry, my crazy girl. )
I chuckled to myself, realizing I was speaking to her sleeping form. My thoughts drifted as I let go of my worries for a moment. I pulled her into a tight embrace, feeling the warmth of her body against mine, the comfort only she can provide. And in that moment, as I held her close, I let myself drift into sleep, wrapped in the love and peace only she can bring to my heart.
Ruhanika's POV,
I started feeling a chill, so I instinctively snuggled closer to the warmth beside me. As I rubbed my cheek against the soft surface below, I slowly opened my eyes, and to my surprise, I found myself incredibly close to Aksh's face, his peaceful slumber in front of me. A soft smile spread across my lips just at the sight of him. I couldn't understand why I could never tear my eyes away from his face. There was something about him that made me just want to gaze at him endlessly. He was so beautiful. Every day, I thank Lord Shiva for bringing him into my life, for blessing me with someone as perfect as him.
I gently pulled back a little, just enough to admire him fully. Resting my chin on his chest, I allowed myself to take in every detail of his face. My fingers, almost on their own, began to run through his hair, each strand feeling soft beneath my touch. My hands then traced the lines of his faceâhis eyes, nose, cheeksâeverything about him was flawless. My gaze lingered on his lips, so pink and soft. I remembered yesterday, how he kissed me so tenderly on my lips. The emotions had been so overwhelming that I couldnât hold back my tears. I cried not because I was sad, but because I felt so deeply loved, so cherished, that it moved me to tears. I never knew love could feel like this.
Why is my Aksh so sweet? I find myself at a loss for words whenever I try to express how much I love him. Even now, as I lay beside him, I feel this overwhelming need to be even closer to him. So, gently, I lifted the hem of his hoodie and slipped myself underneath, wanting to feel the warmth of his skin against mine. But even with that, I still felt like I couldnât get close enough. There was no more space left between us, and now, I was completely stuck to him, pressing against him in the most comforting way. A smile tugged at my lips, but then I remembered how he loves to tease me. My cheeks were hurting from all the blushing, and it made me wish I could make him blush too. He looks so adorable when his cheeks turn red.
I leaned in and planted a soft kiss on his cheek, and I couldnât help but giggle when his eyes fluttered open, though he was still half asleep. I ran my fingers through his beard, delighting in the feeling of his stubble against my skin. He turned his face away, but I was loving every moment of it, savoring the playfulness between us. My fingers then traced along his lips, admiring the softness of them, but before I knew it, he suddenly took my finger between his teeth. My eyes widened in surprise, but a smile spread across my face as I watched him slowly open his eyes, his gaze locking with mine. The mischievous glint in his eyes told me that this playful moment was just the beginning.
Ruhanika: "Aap jage hai??"
(Are you awake?)
I felt his grip tightening on my waist, a sudden shift in his touch that made me pause. His teeth, which had been holding my finger so gently moments before, loosened, and I instinctively pulled my hand back.
Rudraksh: "Jiii Meri Ruhhh, par aap ye kya kar rahi hai?? Vo bhi is waqt??"
(Yes, Meri Ruhhh. But what are you doing at this hour?)
Ruhanika: "Hume thand lag rahi thi isiliye uth gaye, phir aapko dekha toh aap pe prem aa gaya hume, isiliye aapko nihaar rahe the, aap kitne Sundar hai."
(I felt cold, so I woke up. Then I saw you and felt love for you, so I was admiring you. Youâre so handsome.)
Aksh turned his face away, his cheeks slowly turning red, and I couldnât help but smile at the sight. His voice, though, was so sweetâgentle and softâthat I could listen to it all day and never tire of it. It had a warmth that made everything feel right. I couldn't believe how lucky I was, getting to see my favorite view first thing in the morning. The little moments like this filled me with so much happiness and pride. I giggled softly, feeling an overwhelming sense of contentment. Every detail, every word he spoke, was a reminder of how much I cherished him.
Author's POV,
Rudraksh saw her giggling, the sound light and carefree, and couldn't help but smile. His heart warmed at the sight of her happiness, the simple joy in her laughter making everything else fade away. Gently, he reached out and placed his hand on her head.
Rudraksh: "isiliye aap meri hoodie ke andar aa gayi??"
(And thatâs why you got inside my hoodie?)
Ruhanika: "Jii, nahi aana tha kya?? Nikal jaye??"
(Yes. Should I get out?)
Rudraksh: "Bilkul nahi, infact Roz aise hi soya karo tum."
(Absolutely not. In fact, sleep like this every night.)
Ruhanika grinned.
Ruhanika: "Thik haiiii."
(Okayyy.)
He chuckled softly, as he patted her head gently.
Rudraksh: "Subah hone me waqt hai yellow, so jaiye."
(Thereâs still time before morning, Yellow. Go to sleep.)
Ruhanika: "Ye kya aap hume rango ke naam de rahe hai??"
(Why are you calling me by colors again?)
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, thakti nahi kya?? So jao subah bata dunga."
(Ruhh, donât you ever get tired? Go to sleep; Iâll explain in the morning.)
Ruhanika: "Par pehle kiss haa."
(But first, a kiss, please.)
Rudraksh chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he playfully pulled the duvet up and completely covered her face. The soft fabric gently enveloped her, leaving only a small space for her to peek through. Ruhanika's giggles bubbled up beneath the duvet, muffled but full of laughter.
Rudraksh: "Haa thik hai, but abhi so jaiye Mallika-e-Aksh please."
(Alright, fine. But now please go to sleep, Mallika-e-Aksh.)
Ruhanika: "Jaisa aap kahe Aksh."
(As you wish, Aksh.)
Both of them settled back into each other's arms and slept peacefully.
