In Kartavya and Savisha's room,

The couple sat comfortably on the bed, with Kartavya gently feeding Savisha, his movements full of tenderness. Once they finished their dinner, they changed into comfortable clothes and returned to the bed, seeking the warmth of each other's presence. Savisha snuggled into Kartavya, resting her head on his chest, listening to the soothing rhythm of his heartbeat. Kartavya wrapped his arms protectively around her, holding her close as though shielding her from the world. Both were glowing with happiness, their smiles reflecting the love and excitement they shared for the new chapter in their lives. Savisha idly played with Kartavya's fingers, tracing little patterns and occasionally intertwining their hands. Kartavya kissed the top of her head softly.

Savisha: "Avya"

Kartavya: "Yess Mahiya."

Savisha: "Vaisa kuch dobara nahi hoga na??"

(Something like that won’t happen again, right?)

Kartavya tightened his grip around Savisha, pulling her even closer into his embrace, as if shielding her from the world. His warmth enveloped her, offering comfort and security.

Kartavya: "Vo meri galti thi Isha, main Vada karta hu ab aisa nahi hoga."

(That was my mistake, Isha. I promise it won’t happen again.)

Savisha: "Aapki galti nahi thi Avya, shayad yahi likha tha humari kismat me."

(It wasn’t your fault, Avya. Maybe this was just written in our fate.)

A lone tear escaped from both their eyes, reflecting the overwhelming emotions they shared in the quiet intimacy of the moment. After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Savisha gently broke it.

Savisha: "Jo humare sath hua vo Ruhi aur Rudraa ke sath nahi hoga na Avya??"

(What happened to us won’t happen to Ruhi and Rudraa, right, Avya?)

Kartavya: "Kabhi nahi Mahiye kabhi nahi, Main akela tha, Rudraa nahi, uske sath main hu, hum sab hai kuch nahi hoga vaisa."

(Never, Mahiye, never. I was alone, but Rudraa isn’t. He has me and all of us. Nothing like that will happen.)

Savisha smiled.

Savisha: "Avya, kya hum London jaana cancel kar sakte hai?? Main chahti hu humara baby India me hi janam le."

(Avya, can we cancel going to London? I want our baby to be born in India.)

Kartavya: "Jaisa tum kaho Mahiye, vaise bhi tumhara gift bhi pending hai but aapne jo diya hai uske samne mera gift kuch nahi and anyways aise me travelling is not good."

(As you wish, Mahiye. Besides, your gift is still pending, but honestly, what you’ve given me already is beyond anything I could give. And anyway, traveling in such a state isn’t good.)

Savisha looked up at Kartavya and a broad smile spread across her face. Her expression radiated pure joy and love, as if silently expressing everything she felt in her heart without needing words.

Kartavya: "Meri beti yahi janam legi."

(My daughter will be born here.)

Savisha playfully slapped Kartavya's chest.

Savisha: "Avyyaaaaa"

Kartavya chuckled softly at her and his eyes filled with adoration. Leaning down, he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Kartavya: "Achcha achcha humara beta bhi ho sakta hai."

(Fine, fine. It could be our son too.)

Savisha: "Better"

Both snuggled closer, finding comfort in each other's warmth. As they closed their eyes, a sweet, happy smile tugged at their lips, the kind that only comes from pure contentment. Wrapped in each other's arms, they drifted into peaceful silence, savoring the joy of their shared moment.

In Rudraksh and Ruhanika's Room,

Rudraksh stepped out of the washroom, freshly changed, and his eyes immediately found Ruhanika sitting on the Ottoman. She was absentmindedly removing her jewelry, her fingers moving slowly, and letting her hair fall loose. He couldn’t help but smile, admiring how beautiful she looked, even without any makeup or jewelry. But then, noticing the faraway look in her eyes, a frown tugged at his expression—she seemed lost in her thoughts. He walked up to her, gently placing his hands on her shoulders, his touch grounding her. Leaning down, he rested his chin on her head, breathing in the scent of her hair. Ruhanika sensed his presence, her lips curving into a soft smile as she glanced at him through the mirror. She didn’t need to say anything; his touch and the warmth of his closeness said it all.

Rudraksh: "Kya soch rahi hai aap Mallika-e-Aksh??"

(What are you thinking, Mallika-e-Aksh?)

As Rudraksh spoke, Ruhanika's cheeks flushed a soft pink, a shy smile tugging at her lips. His chuckle made her heart skip a beat, and she couldn't help but glance at him through the mirror, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of warmth and affection. Rudraksh's fingers gently moved to her hair, his touch tender as he began to undo the strands that had been neatly tied.

Rudraksh: "Bolo bhi kya hua??"

(Tell me, what’s wrong?)

Ruhanika: "Humne dekha aap sab ro rahe the jab pata chala ki bhabhi sa mumma banne wali hai. Kyu ro rahe the aap sab??"

(I saw everyone crying when we found out Bhabhi is going to become a mom. Why were you all crying?)

Rudraksh paused, his hands stilling in her hair as he suddenly turned his gaze away, a hint of something unspoken flickering in his eyes. The moment seemed to hang in the air, charged with emotion, before Ruhanika stood up, her movements soft but sure. She gently reached out, her hands finding his, her fingers lacing with his as she held them with a quiet strength.

Ruhanika: "Koi baat nahi agar aap nahi batana chahte hai, hum zor nahi dalenge bas aap udas mat hona."

(It’s okay if you don’t want to tell me. I won’t insist, but don’t be sad, please.)

Rudraksh gently guided Ruhanika back onto the Ottoman, his hands steady as he helped her sit comfortably. He then lowered himself, settling near her feet, and with a quiet sigh, he placed his head in her lap, seeking solace in her warmth and the gentle presence she always offered. Ruhanika, surprised but understanding, instinctively began caressing his head, her fingers gently running through his hair.

Rudraksh: "Bhabhi aur bhai ki shadi ko teen saal ho gaye hai Love marriage thi unki."

(Bhabhi and Bhai have been married for three years. It was a love marriage.)

Ruhanika smiled softly, her heart warming as she continued stroking Rudraksh’s hair.

Rudraksh: "Shadi ke 3 mahine baad pata chala bhabhi pregnant hai."

(Three months after their wedding, we found out Bhabhi was pregnant.)

Ruhanika frowned in confusion, her brow furrowing slightly, but she chose to remain silent, allowing Rudraksh the space to finish what he was saying.

Rudraksh: "Sab bahaut khush the, bhabhi toh maano pagal hi ho gayi thi unki khushi ka thikana hi nahi tha par phir...."

(Everyone was so happy. Bhabhi was ecstatic, as if her joy knew no bounds. But then...)

Rudraksh closed his eyes, his mind drifting back to the memories. The weight of the past seemed to settle on his shoulders, and for a moment, he was lost in thought. His hand, which had been resting on Ruhanika's lap, tightened slightly as if trying to hold onto the strength she offered him

Rudraksh: "phir unka accident hua tha, doctors ne bahaut mushkil se bhabhi ko toh bacha liya par ..par baby ko nahi bacha paye."

(Then she had an accident. The doctors managed to save her with great difficulty, but… but they couldn’t save the baby.)

Ruhanika was taken aback, her heart aching as a tear escaped her eye, imagining the pain Savisha must be feeling. She could sense the sadness in Rudraksh as well, and she quickly composed herself, determined to lift his spirits.

Ruhanika: "Achcha chaliye ab itna mat sochiye us baare me, buri baatein kyu soche jab aaj khush khabar mili hai, ab hum sab Bhabhi saa ka khoob khayal rakhenge aur chotu baby ka bhi."

(Alright then, let’s not dwell on it anymore. Why think of sad things when we’ve received such good news today? Now we’ll take great care of Bhabhi and the little baby.)

Rudraksh noticed Ruhanika’s efforts to cheer him up, and it warmed his heart. He gave her a soft smile, his eyes filled with gratitude, and looked at her with a gentle appreciation.

Rudraksh: "Aaho ji Sohneyo."

(Absolutely, my dear.)

Ruhanika smiled warmly. He returned her smile, his eyes reflecting the same warmth. Standing up, he extended his hand to her, gently helping her to her feet.

Rudraksh: "Jao ab tum bhi change kar lo."

(Now go and change.)

Ruhanika nodded and began to turn, but then something caught her attention. She glanced at her reflection in the mirror, turning her body from right to left as she examined herself. Rudraksh, noticing her sudden pause, became confused. He stepped forward and gently placed his hands on her shoulders, turning her to face him.

Rudraksh: "Ye kya kar rahi ho betu??"

(What are you doing, sweetheart?)

Ruhanika: "Aapki aur humari shadi ko teen mahine hone aaye hai."

(It’s been almost three months since we got married.)

Rudraksh: "Haa toh??"

(Yes, so?)

Ruhanika: "Toh humare pet me chota baby kab aayega???"

(So, when will I have a baby in my tummy?)

Rudraksh felt as though the very ground beneath his feet had suddenly disappeared. His eyes widened in disbelief, and a wave of shock surged through him. His grip on her weakened.

Ruhanika: "Areh bataiye na, bhabhi sa ne mannat mangi thi hum bhi shiv ji se mang le, phir humara aur aapka baby bhi aa jayega na Aksh."

(Tell me! Bhabhi made a wish to Lord Shiva, so I can do the same. Then we’ll have our baby too, right?)

Ruhanika asked with sheer excitement, her grin stretching from ear to ear, while Rudraksh's face slowly turned a deep shade of red. The contrast between her animated enthusiasm and his growing embarrassment was palpable.

Ruhanika: "Areh chup kyu hai boliye"

(Why are you quiet? Say something!)

Rudraksh let out a soft sigh, closing his eyes for a moment to compose himself. When he opened them again, he gently cupped Ruhanika’s face in his hands. His touch was tender, and she couldn’t help but smile at the care he always showed her.

Rudraksh: "Babies aise nahi hote hai Ruhh"

(Babies are not born like that, Ruhh.)

Ruhanika: "toh kaise hote hai, Vivaah ke baad hi toh hote hai bachche."

(Then how are they born, they are born after marriage right)

Rudraksh: "Haa jaana par us..ke uske liye k.. kuch aur karna hota hai."

(Yess, but for that we need to do something)

Ruhanika: "Kya karna hota hai?? Hume bataiye hum karenge na"

(Then how do they work? Tell me, and I’ll do it!)

Rudraksh’s eyes widened in surprise for a brief moment, but he quickly looked away, trying to compose himself. He cleared his throat, the tension from the unexpected moment evident in his actions.

Rudraksh: "Ahh Ruhhh, jaana aap change karlo na ye sab baatein hoti rahengi jaiye. ?"

(Ahh, Ruhhh, love, just go change. We’ll talk about this later.)

Ruhanika: "Nahii, pehle hume bataiye baby ke liye kya karna hota hai"

(No! First, tell me what we need to do to have a baby.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, please na chodo na ye sab, Zidd kab se karne lagi tum??"

(Ruhh, please, drop this topic now. Since when did you start being so stubborn?)

Ruhanika: "Kya humse zidd nahi kar sakte hai?? Kya aap humari baatein nhi sunenge??"

( Can’t I be stubborn with you? Won’t you listen to me?)

Rudraksh could sense the familiar unease creeping into Ruhanika's mind, knowing that her insecurities were resurfacing. With a soft sigh, he gently cupped her face in his hands, his touch reassuring. He leaned forward and placed a tender kiss on her forehead.

Rudraksh: "Bilkul zidd kar sakti ho Ruhh, tumhari baatein nahi sununga toh kiski sununga?"

(Of course, you can be stubborn, Ruhh. If I don’t listen to you, who else will?)

Ruhanika: "Toh bataiye babies kaise hote hai?"

(Then tell me, how are babies made?)

Rudraksh took a deep breath, letting out a long sigh.

Rudraksh: "Umm vo uske liye husband wife ko matlab voo.. vaise us taraf se ki matlab.."

(Umm, well, for that, husband and wife… I mean, they have to….)

Ruhanika: "Kya keh rahe hai??, kise kis tarah se kya?"

(What are you saying??)

Rudraksh: "Husband wife ko kareeb aana hota hai Ruhh"

(they have to… get close in a certain way)

Rudraksh spoke in one breath, his words tumbling out quickly before he looked away, unable to meet her curious gaze. Ruhanika, sensing his unease, wrapped her arms around him in a comforting hug. She rested her chin on his chest, tilting her head upward to look at him with a soft smile.

Ruhanika: "Itne kareeb thik hai??"

(This close? Is that enough?)

Ruhanika asked with a smile, her eyes filled with curiosity. Rudraksh couldn’t help but smile at her innocence. He gently wrapped his arms around her waist and, with a tender gesture, bent down to nuzzle his nose against hers. The playful touch made Ruhanika's heart flutter as she looked up at him, her cheeks tinged with a light blush.

Rudraksh: "Haa Tum mere itne kareeb bahaut achchi lagti ho."

(Yes, you being this close to me feels perfect.)

Ruhanika chuckled softly, her fingers gently caressing his cheeks as she play with his beard between her fingers. Rudraksh’s smile widened, his eyes closing for a moment as he enjoyed the warmth of her touch.

Ruhanika: "Areh humara matlab hum itne kareeb hai aapke toh Baby hoga na??"

(No, I mean, we’re already this close, so we’ll have a baby, right?)

Ruhanika grinned, giving him yet another playful shock. Rudraksh blinked in surprise, his words stumbling as he tried to process her words.

Ruhanika: "Kahiye, chup kyu hai??"

(Say something! Why are you quiet?)

Rudraksh: "Jaan, abhi ke liye itna jaan lo that husband and wife do something that results into them being pregnant. Bas aage ka tumhe abhi janne ki zarurat nahi."

(Sweetheart, just understand this much for now: husband and wife do something that leads to pregnancy. You don’t need to know more than that right now.)

Ruhanika's mind raced as she noticed Rudraksh’s lack of eye contact while speaking to her. His words were warm, but there was a certain distance in his gaze that confused her. She thought for a moment, a mischievous grin slowly forming on her face. Still wrapped in his arms, she decided to turn the situation around. With a playful glint in her eyes, she poked his chest lightly, watching his confused expression. Rudraksh looked down at her, clearly puzzled, and before he could voice his confusion, she took a step closer to him. Ruhanika placed her hands gently on his shoulders and, standing on her toes, leaned up to press her lips softly against his. Rudraksh’s eyes widened in shock. It wasn’t their first kiss, yet the suddenness of it caught him off guard. His mind momentarily blanked as he absorbed the unexpected gesture. Ruhanika pulled back after a few seconds, only to hug him tightly, burying her face in his chest. Her heart raced, unsure of what kind of reaction she would get.

She waited for his response, but when she didn’t hear anything, she pulled away slightly, looking up at him. His face remained frozen in shock, his eyes wide as if trying to process what had just happened. Ruhanika felt a bit nervous under his gaze, her fingers instinctively moving to cover her mouth in embarrassment. Rudraksh's hands still rested around her waist, but he didn’t say anything right away. His mind was a whirl of emotions—surprise, warmth, and a little bit of disbelief.

Ruhanika: "Maaf kijiyega, humne aapse pucha nahi."

(I’m sorry, I should have asked you.)

Rudraksh smiled warmly, his eyes softening as he leaned in. In a tender moment, he gently pecked her lips.

Rudraksh: "Hisaab barabar."

(That makes us even.)

Rudraksh winked playfully at her, a mischievous glint in his eyes. She blushed, her cheeks tinged with a soft pink, but despite her shy reaction, she mustered the courage to ask.

Ruhanika: "Bas itna hi karenge??"

(Is that all we will do?)

Rudraksh looked at her once again in disbelief, his eyes wide with surprise.

Ruhanika: "Humara matlab vo hum ab Sikh gaye hai toh..."

(I mean, if that’s the case, then I’ve learned it now, so…)

Rudraksh: "Toh tum kar lo"

(So, go ahead then.)

Ruhanika: "Hum kar sakte hai??"

(I can do it?)

Rudraksh blinked, a smile spreading across his face, and before he could say anything, Ruhanika kissed him softly. Her lips met his with a tenderness that took his breath away. He quickly pulled her closer, his hands resting gently on her waist as she stood on her toes to close the distance between them. The kiss deepened, filled with love and passion, a perfect reflection of the bond they shared. After a few moments, they pulled back, their foreheads resting against each other, both of them smiling in contentment. Ruhanika blushed at the thought of taking the initiative, her heart fluttering as she realized how much her feelings for him had grown. Rudraksh's smile mirrored hers, his eyes soft with affection as he looked at her, his heart swelling with love.

Ruhanika: "Kya ab hum mumma banenge??."

(Does that mean I’ll be a mom now?)

Rudraksh: "Whatt???"

Rudraksh looked at her and couldn't help but burst into laughter, the sound of his amusement filling the air. Ruhanika, clearly irritated by his reaction, pouted, her annoyance evident.

Ruhanika: "Has kyu rahe hai??"

(Why are you laughing?)

Rudraksh quickly composed himself, his laughter fading into a soft smile. He leaned in and gently pecked her pout, his lips brushing against her in a playful attempt to lighten the mood.

Rudraksh: "Jaan, there are few things jo aap abhi nahi janti husband wife relationship ke bare me. Par abhi ke liye jaan lijiye ki baby pati patni ke pyaar se kareeb aane se hota hai."

(Sweetheart, there are some things about a husband-wife relationship that you don’t understand yet. For now, just know that babies are made through love and closeness.)

Ruhanika: "Toh hum bhabhi sa se puch le??"

(Then I’ll ask Bhabhi about it?)

Rudraksh: "Nahii Ruhh, achcha main pakka tumhe bataunga par abhi nahi, abhi tum choti ho baadme pakka."

(No, Ruhh! I promise I’ll explain it to you, just not now. You’re still young; later, okay?)

Ruhanika: "Hum chote nahi hai, humara Vivaah toh ho gaya hai."

(I’m not young! I’m married now.)

Rudraksh: "Haa par phir bhi umm achcha mujhse age me choti ho na??"

(Yes, but you’re younger than me, right?)

Ruhanika nodded.

Rudraksh: "Haa toh bas, jab time aayega tab bata dunga, abhi please is baat ko yahi chod de??"

(So that’s it. When the time comes, I’ll tell you. But for now, let’s drop this topic, please?)

Ruhanika: "Aap please kyu keh rahe hai?? Aapne mana kiya toh hum nahi puchenge."

(You don’t need to plead. If you don’t want me to ask, I won’t.)

Rudraksh gently cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

Rudraksh: "Good, jao ab change karlo thak gayi hogi na sona nahi hai??"

(Good girl. Now go and change. You must be tired, aren’t you?)

Ruhanika nodded and, with a quick glance, headed towards the washroom. Rudraksh stood still for a moment, his hand moving to rub his forehead, as if trying to ease the tension that had suddenly settled there.

Rudraksh: "Kabhi kabhi toh samajh nahi aata tumhari masoomiyat ke liye us Vijaypratap pe thoda rehem karu, ya sidha ek baar me jaan se maar du ghatiya insaan ko."

(Sometimes, I don’t know whether to pity Vijaypratap for your innocence or just finish him off for being such a horrible person.)

Rudraksh shook his head, a smile tugging at his lips, before he made his way to the room. He settled on the bed, half-lying down as he began scrolling through his phone. After a while, Ruhanika entered the room, her excitement evident as she quickly dashed towards the bed. Rudraksh looked up in surprise as Ruhanika swiftly ran towards the bed. He barely had time to process what was happening before she shifted his hand, making him a bit confused. Just as he was about to ask her what she was doing, Ruhanika playfully lifted his t-shirt, slipping under it and peeking out from the neckline with a mischievous smile on her face. Rudraksh's eyes widened for a moment, caught off guard by her bold and playful move. He chuckled softly, his confusion turning into a warm smile as he realized her playful intentions.

Rudraksh: "ye kya hai betu???"

(What are you doing, sweetheart?)

Ruhanika: "Aapne kaha na pati patni ko kareeb aana hota hai."

(You said husbands and wives have to get close.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhhhh"

Ruhanika giggled softly, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she snuggled even closer to him.

Ruhanika: "Hume achcha lagta hai aapke itne kareeb rehna, reh le hum yahi??"

(I like being this close to you. Can I stay here?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly at her playful antics. With a gentle smile, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer. Both of them settled down comfortably.

Rudraksh: "Achcha Ruhh, main pehle puchna bhool gaya, kya tumhe in kamre me bhi changes karane hai?? Tumhe jaisa pasand ho bata do main vaisa Kara dunga."

( Alright, Ruhh. I forgot to ask earlier—do you want any changes in this room? Tell me what you like, and I’ll make it happen.)

Ruhanika: "Nahi hume yehi pasand hai, ye white aur grey colour ka Mel bahaut pasand hai."

(No, I like it as it is. I love the white and grey theme.)

Rudraksh: "Par maine suna hai ladkiyo ko pink colour pasand hota hai."

(But I’ve heard girls like pink.)

Ruhanika: "Gulabi rang achcha hota hai, par kamre me nahi."

(Pink is nice, but not for a room.)

Rudraksh: "As you say Jaan-e-aksh"

Ruhanika blushed deeply, feeling a wave of warmth spread across her cheeks. she quickly buried her face in his neck, seeking the comfort of his embrace.

Ruhanika: "Ye koi waqt hai hume itne pyaar se bulane ka ki hum sharma jaye."

(Is this the time to call me so lovingly that I end up blushing?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly at her shy reaction, his heart swelling with affection. Gently, he began stroking her hair, his fingers running through the strands in a soothing motion.

Rudraksh: "Kyu Mallika-e-Aksh maine aisa kya keh diya jo meri Jaan-e-aksh sharma rahi hai??"

(Why, Mallika-e-Aksh? What did I say to make my Jaan-e-Aksh blush?)

Ruhanika snuggled even closer into him, her body pressing against his as she sought more warmth. Rudraksh, with a soft smile, enjoyed the warmth of her cheeks against his skin, feeling the heat radiating from her as she had completely turned red.

Ruhanika: "Kyu kar rahe hai aise, hume sharam aa rahi hai"

(Why are you doing this? You’re making me shy!)

Rudraksh: "Achcha ji ab sharam aa rahi hai, mujhe kiss karte waqt toh nahi aayi sharam vo toh bahaut enjoy karti ho tum, my wild cat."

(Oh, so now you’re shy? You don’t feel shy while kissing me—you enjoy that a lot, my wild cat.)

Ruhanika blushed deeply, the memory of their shared moment of kiss, burned her cheeks. She tightened her grip on him, pulling herself closer as if seeking solace in his presence.

Rudraksh: "Areh areh zara chehra toh dikhaiye Jaan-e-aksh aapka."

(Come on, show me your face, Jaan-e-Aksh.)

Ruhanika: "Hum kuch nahi sun rahe, hum so gaye hai"

(I’m not listening to you. I’ve gone to sleep!)

Rudraksh: "Toh bol kon Raha hai?"

(Then who’s talking?)

Ruhanika: "Hume nahi pata, hume mat sataiye hum thake huye hai"

(I don’t know. Don’t tease me; I’m tired.)

Rudraksh: "Kiss karte waqt nahi thaki thi tum???"

(You weren’t tired while kissing me, were you?)

Ruhanika: "Urghhhhh, kyu sata rahe hai, jaiye nahi karenge dobara, hatiye"

(Urghhh, why are you teasing me? Go away! I won’t do it again. Move aside!)

Ruhanika, was about o pull herself out of his t-shirt, started to shift, but Rudraksh held her tightly, his arms wrapping around her with a playful grin. He chuckled softly, enjoying the moment and the way she tried to pull away.

Rudraksh: "Achcha baba sorry, nahi tang karta, so jao tum."

(Okay, okay, I’m sorry. I won’t tease you. Go to sleep.)

Ruhanika: "Aap bhi so jaiye, aap bhi thake hai."

(You should sleep too. You’re tired as well.)

Rudraksh nodded gently, his arms securing her even closer. With a soft smile, he guided her face back to his neck, where she nestled comfortably. The warmth of their embrace, combined with the peaceful atmosphere, soon lulled them both into a deep, serene sleep, wrapped in each other's arms.

The Next morning, the atmosphere in the house was filled with joy and excitement. Everyone was eagerly awaiting the return of Savisha and Kartavya, who had gone to the hospital for a thorough check-up, something that had been necessary for Savisha's well-being. When they finally returned, the news they brought was nothing short of a relief—everything was perfectly fine, and the best part was that they wouldn’t be returning to London. Ruhanika, in particular, was overjoyed. For the first time in a long while, she felt the warmth and comfort of a full family around her, and she couldn’t bear the thought of losing this precious closeness. To celebrate the good news, she decided to prepare her special kheer, a dish she knew everyone loved. She served it to everyone with a smile, but before sharing it with the family, she and Savisha went to the temple within the house to offer their prayers and take blessings. Together, they placed the kheer on the altar, offering it as prashad, a gesture of gratitude and love.

However, there was still a bittersweet note to the day. Kritika, who had been with the family for some time, had to return to London. She had some work to wrap up, including important tasks for Kartavya's company. Though everyone understood, it was hard to let her go, especially with Diwali approaching. Kritika promised she would return before the festival, eager to reunite with her family and celebrate together.

In the evening, Kritika, Rishwik, and Amandeep were getting ready to leave. Kritika looked elegant in her off-white turtleneck top paired with white pants and a stylish blue overcoat. Rishwik, always sharp in his style, wore a crisp white shirt, dark blue pants, and a matching blazer, exuding confidence. Amandeep, maintaining a refined look, was dressed in a white turtleneck t-shirt with beige pants and a blazer, complementing the overall sophisticated vibe of the trio. As they prepared to head out, they made quite the impression with their coordinated and polished outfits.

Kartavya: "Krituuu main abhi bhi keh raha hu jett leja putt kyu flight se jaana hai??"

(Krituuu, I'm still saying why do you need to leave for the flight? Just take a jet instead.)

Kritika: "Veere please yaar, Jet me akele yaha vaha ghumne se better hai flight and main pehli baar travel nahi kar rahi so stop worrying. Relax Karo aur bhabhi ka khayal rakho"

(Bro, please, it's better to travel in a flight than wandering around alone in the jet. And it's not my first time traveling, so stop worrying. Relax, and take care of bhabhi.)

Kartavya: "Achcha time to time update deti rehna aur ghar pohchte hi call karna"

(Alright, just keep updating me from time to time, and call me as soon as you reach home.)

Kritika: "Ji bhai."

(Sure, bro.)

Rudraksh noticed that Rishwik and Amandeep weren't dressed casually as usual. Instead, they were wearing more formal attire, which immediately caught his attention.

Rudraksh: "Tum dono aise drop karne ja rahe ho use airport??"

(You both are just going to drop her at the airport like this?)

Rishwik: "Bhai bola toh tha aapko humare ek college friend ki behen ki shadi me ja rahe hai"

(Bro, I told you we're going to a wedding of a college friend's sister.)

Amandeep: "Toh pehle dii ko drop kar denge aur phir jayenge"

(First, we’ll drop her off and then go.)

Rudraksh gave a solemn nod as he watched Kritika bid farewell to everyone. She was leaving with Rishwik and Amandeep, and the moment felt bittersweet. Savisha and Ruhanika, both emotional, couldn’t hold back their tears. Savisha’s hormones were heightened due to her pregnancy, making her more sensitive, while Ruhanika’s tears flowed because she couldn’t bear the thought of Kritika leaving. She had grown so close to her, and the thought of parting ways, even for a short time, was difficult. Kartavya and Rudraksh did their best to console their wives, but it wasn’t easy. They tried to calm them down, offering words of comfort, but it was clear that the emotional tide was strong. Eventually, Savisha managed to stop crying when Kartavya, sensing her need for comfort, suggested they go to the Gurudwara. He wanted to take her there to thank Baba Ji for fulfilling her wish, and the idea of a peaceful visit seemed to bring her some relief.

On the other hand, Ruhanika stopped crying when Rudraksh promised to cook something special for her. He also offered to teach her how to make it, an idea that cheered her up. Her love for cooking was only matched by her love for him, so the prospect of a new cooking lesson brought a smile to her face. After a few moments of quiet reflection, Kartavya and Savisha changed and left for the Gurudwara. Savisha, feeling grateful, wanted to personally thank Baba Ji for answering her prayers. Kartavya, despite not having a deep belief in God, accompanied her as a supportive husband, content to be by her side during this moment of spiritual gratitude.

Rudraksh gently lifted Ruhanika by her waist, his hands steady and supportive as he effortlessly placed her on the kitchen platform. She giggled softly, her eyes sparkling as she sat there, her legs dangling.

Ruhanika: "Kya banayenge hum aaj??"

(What should we make today?)

Rudraksh: "Umm paasta banau??"

(Umm, how about pasta?)

Ruhanika: "Vo safed rang wala??"

(The one with white sauce?)

Rudraksh: "Achcha toh Mallika-e-Aksh ko white sauce pasta khane ka man hai??"

(Oh, so Mallika-e-Aksh wants white sauce pasta?)

Rudraksh leaned closer to her, his face just inches away, his gaze soft. As he asked her, Ruhanika lowered her eyes, a shy blush creeping across her cheeks.

Ruhanika: "Phir shuru ho gaye aap, kya mazaa aata hai aapko hume sharmata dekh??"

(Here we go again, what fun do you get out of seeing me blush?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, his eyes full of affection as he leaned in closer. With a playful glint in his eyes, he rubbed his nose gently against hers.

Rudraksh: "Itna khoobsurat nazara koi bewakoof hi chodega."

(Who would leave such a beautiful sight? Only a fool would.)

Rudraksh, stepped back with a soft smile and began chopping the veggies on the counter.

Ruhanika: "Kon bewakoof Aksh??"

(Who's the fool, Aksh?)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, shaking his head in amusement.

Rudraksh: "Koi nahi, aao sikhata hu tumhe kaise banate hai."

(Never mind, come, let me show you how it's made.)

Rudraksh gently lifted Ruhanika and placed her back on the ground. Then, standing behind her, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. The two of them remained this way throughout the entire pasta meal, sharing their couple time in each other's arms. They ate lovingly, with sweet teasing, blushing, and occasional kisses, enjoying every moment of togetherness. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and affection, a perfect blend of love and playfulness between them.

On the other side, Rishwik and Amandeep arrived at the wedding venue after dropping Kritika off at the airport. As they made their way toward the entrance, they were greeted by their friend Ayaan.

Ayaan: "Heyy buddies, glad ki Malhotra aur Arora sahab ne darshan diye aaj hume."

(Hey buddies, glad that Mr. Malhotra and Mr. Arora decided to grace us with their presence today.)

Ayaan wrapped his arms around Rishwik and Amandeep in a warm, tight hug.

Amandeep: "Zyada natak kiya na toh ek ek laat bhi padegi"

(If you act too dramatic, you’ll get a good kick too.)

Rishwik: "Kya Aman, laat se iska kya hoga itna hatta katta hai kum se thoda hatapayi toh kar."

(Aman, why just a kick? This guy is sturdy; a little wrestling would be better.)

Amandeep and Rishwik burst into laughter, their shared joke clearly hitting the mark.

Ayaan: "Mujhe samajh nahi aata main bulata kyu hu tum do namuno ko."

(I don’t even know why I call you two clowns.)

Rishwik: "Tu hoga Namuna."

(You’re the clown here.)

Amandeep: "Hum unique hai, isiliye bulaye bina raha nahi jaata tujhse."

(We’re unique, that’s why you can’t resist calling us.)

Ayaan: "Thik hai mere baap, ab aao andar dono."

(Fine, my lords. Now both of you get inside.)

Ayaan, with a dramatic sigh of defeat, joined his hands, fully aware that he could never win an argument against these two brothers. He shook his head in mock frustration, but his smile betrayed the amusement he felt. After the playful exchange, the three of them went inside and settled into their respective chairs. The atmosphere shifted as the wedding function began, and everyone’s attention turned to the couple. Admiring smiles and whispers filled the air, as the guests marveled at the beauty of the couple and the joyous occasion unfolding before them.

Rishwik: "Yaar Aman, dekh zara kitne cute lag rahe hai na dono?"

(Hey Aman, don’t they look so cute together?)

Amandeep: "Haa pyaari jodi hai"

(Yeah, such a lovely couple.)

Rishwik: "Agar Ashvik bhai bhi shadi kar le Akshu se, toh agla number mera na??"

(If Ashvik bro gets married to Akshu, will I be next?)

Amandeep looked at Rishwik with narrowed eyes.

Amandeep: "Sudhar ja nalayak, har cheez me apna fayda."

(Stop being selfish, you idiot. Always thinking of yourself.)

Rishwik: "Areh toh tu Tera dekh na, meri shadi huyi toh Tera number aayega na"

(Come on, you can look out for yourself. If I get married, your turn will come too.)

Rishwik made a playful comment, but as soon as the words left his mouth, he noticed the color drain from Amandeep’s face. Realizing his joke had hit a nerve, Rishwik’s expression shifted to one of concern. He quickly looked at Amandeep, cursing himself silently for his thoughtless remark. Without missing a beat, he placed a reassuring hand on Amandeep's shoulder.

Rishwik: "Heyyy Aman, mera vo matlab nahi tha veere, sorry yaar maaf kar de."

(Heyyy Aman, I didn’t mean it like that, bro. Sorry, forgive me.)

Amandeep: "Koi baat nahi."

(It’s okay.)

Amandeep turned his gaze away, his face still pale, as he tried to hide the emotions he was struggling to keep in check.

Rishwik: "Jab nahi reh sakta uske bina toh jaake bol dena, aakhir kitne hi time lagega tujhe use dundhne me."

(If you can’t live without her, just go and tell her already. How long will it take for you to find her?)

Amandeep: "Dundh toh lu use, par kya bolunga, kitne sawaal karegi kaise jawab dunga sabka??"

(I could find her, but what will I even say? She’ll have so many questions, and how will I answer them all?)

Rishwik: "Jitna main suna hai uske baare me tujhse, I can bet vo samjhegi tujhe"

(From what I’ve heard about her from you, I bet she’ll understand.)

Amandeep: "Vo toh samajh jayegi, par uske samne main khud ko kaise sambhalunga??"

(She will understand, but how will I face her? How will I even keep myself together in front of her?)

Amandeep hugged Rishwik tightly, trying to hide his tears, but Rishwik, sensing the pain his brother was feeling, knew exactly what was going on. Amandeep was only masking his emotions. Wanting to comfort him, Rishwik gently rubbed Amandeep's back and then patted it reassuringly.

Rishwik: "Achcha vo sab chod, jo hoga dekha jayega, Chal pehla oh kam kar layie jide lai asi ithhe aaye haan, usde bina sab adhoora laggega."

(Forget about all that. Whatever happens, we’ll deal with it. Now let’s finish the work we came here for. Without that, everything feels incomplete.)

Amandeep pulled back slightly, his confusion evident as he turned to look at Rishwik.

Amandeep: "Keda kaam??"

(What work?)

Rishwik: "Oye yaar, pet Puja da kam, hor keda kam? Chal jaldi, menu zor di bhukh laggi hai!"

(Oh come on, feeding ourselves, what else? Let’s go quickly—I’m starving!)

Rishwik stood up with a grin and playfully pulled Amandeep along with him. Amandeep couldn’t help but chuckle at Rishwik’s childish behavior, the tension from before slowly melting away. They made their way toward the food counter, with Rishwik humming a lighthearted tune, his carefree spirit infectious.

Rishwik: "Jaane kab aayegi vo nain ladaiya, jo bolegi hum ko saiyaan..."

Before Rishwik could finish his song, someone collided with him, and in an instant, he found himself falling onto his back. Instinctively, he wrapped his arms around the other person’s waist to steady himself, but unfortunately, the person fell on top of him. Both of them shut their eyes in anticipation of the fall. After a few moments, Rishwik slowly opened his eyes, and to his surprise, he found himself looking up at a girl. Her eyes were still shut, and her lips were pressed tightly together, as if holding back fear. A smile tugged at Rishwik’s lips as he admired her angelic face. For a moment, he completely forgot that he had fallen because of her, even though his back ached from the fall.

He was lost in her beauty, his gaze wandering from her delicate features to the soft curve of her lips. As he looked at her, she slowly began to stir, and her eyes fluttered open. Rishwik’s eyes widened in surprise, and he found himself lost in the depth of her gaze. She, too, was clearly captivated by his intense stare, her own eyes reflecting the same admiration. Without thinking, Rishwik reached up and gently tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. The simple touch caused her cheeks to flush a soft pink, and Rishwik couldn’t help but smirk, caught up in the unexpected connection between them.

Suddenly, the sound of children laughing broke through their moment, and Rishwik slowly turned to Riyanshi. He stood up and gently helped her to her feet, his touch tender. As she stood up, she brushed off some dirt from her clothes, revealing the elegance of her beautiful white and dark blue lehenga, which coincidentally matched Rishwik's outfit. Smiling at the coincidence, Rishwik also shrugged off any dirt from his own clothes and adjusted his hair, making sure everything was in place.

Rishwik: "Aap thik hai??"

(Are you okay?)

Kids: "Uncle aur Aunty toh girr gaye."

(Uncle and Auntie fell down!)

Rishwik smiled warmly as he ruffled the boy’s hair, his playful gesture earning a small laugh. However, the girl, standing nearby, glared at them with annoyance and curiosity, clearly unimpressed by their antics.

Girl: "Mujhe Aunty kaise bola?? Aunty dikhti hu main tum logo ko??"

(How dare you call me Auntie? Do I look like an auntie to you kids?)

Rishwik: "Koi baat nahi bachche hai Jane dijiye."

(It’s okay, they’re just kids. Let it go.)

Girl: "Chup Karo tum, aur tum log didi bolo mujhe ya sirf Riyanshi"

(Shut up! And you kids, call me Riyanshi didi.)

Rishwik heard her name being called, and his smile softened.

Kids: "Mujhe kyu daant rahi hai, giri toh aap thi na Aunty"

(Why are you scolding us? You’re the one who fell, Auntie.)

Riyanshi: "Youuuu"

The kids, clearly uninterested suddenly darted off, running away from the scene. Rishwik chuckled to himself, watching them go with an amused expression.

Riyanshi: "Tum kyu has rahe ho?? Actually tumhari hi galti hai tum takraye aur main gir gayi"

(Why are you laughing? Actually, it’s your fault. You bumped into me, and I fell.)

Rishwik: "Oh hello madam, aap bhaagi aa rahi thi aur mujhse takra gayi"

(Oh, hello, madam. You came running and bumped into me.)

Riyanshi: "Sab janti hu main, tum mujhpe ilzaam lagana chate ho na, sab ladke ek jaise hote hai"

( I know what you’re trying to do. You want to put the blame on me. All guys are the same!)

Rishwik: "Par sab ladkiya ek jaisi nahi hoti, kuch tumhare jaisi pagal bhi hoti hai"

(And not all girls are the same, but some are as crazy as you.)

Riyanshi: "Pagal bola mujhe"

(Did you just call me crazy?)

Rishwik: "Kyu sach kadwa laga"

(Why? Does the truth hurt?)

Riyanshi: "Youuu, bandar kahike, maarungi main tumko"

(Youuu, you monkey! I’m going to hit you!)

Rishwik: "Height dekho zara apni, height kum fight zyada nahi karte bachcha"

(Look at your height. Short people shouldn’t pick fights.)

Riyanshi's mouth hung open in disbelief, her frustration quickly building. Her anger flared, and her eyes narrowed, clearly triggered by Rishwik's behavior.

Riyanshi: "Bachcha bola mujhe, tumhari tohhhh"

(Did you just call me kid? You’re dead!)

Riyanshi, clearly irritated, raised her finger at Rishwik in a silent gesture of frustration. Without missing a beat, Rishwik calmly reached out and entwined his finger with hers, his touch gentle yet firm.

Rishwik: "Kyu bachcha pasand nahi aaya?? Darling bolu??"

(What, didn’t you like being called short? Should I call you darling instead?)

Riyanshi: "You bandar kahike..."

(You monkey!)

Riyanshi, unable to contain her frustration any longer, pushed Rishwik away with a forceful shove. Rishwik, however, just chuckled, clearly enjoying the playful banter and the way she tried to push him away.

Riyanshi: "Bandar jaisi shakal hai aur bandar jaisi akal hai."

(Your face and brain are both like a monkey’s.)

Riyanshi’s push hit a nerve, and Rishwik’s playful demeanor shifted instantly. His ego was bruised, and he glared at her. He wasn’t used to being dismissed so easily, especially not when it came to his charm and looks—qualities he held in high regard.

Rishwik: "Pure Ghar me sabse hot and handsome hu main, aur pure Asia me mere jaisa dimaag kisi ke pass nahi hai samjhi na"

(I’m the hottest and most handsome guy in my family, and nobody in Asia has a mind like mine. Got it?)

Riyanshi: "Aisa behuda dimaag aur shakal kisi ko chahiye hi nahi"

(Nobody wants a face and mind like yours.)

Rishwik: "kitni batameez ho tum, ek toh galti karti ho uper se lad rahi ho mujhse."

(You’re so rude. First, you made the mistake, and now you’re fighting with me.)

Riyanshi: "Mujhe ladaku bol rahe ho, himmat kaise huyi tumhari"

(And now you’re calling me a fighter? How dare you!)

Rishwik: "Bewajah ladna ladkiyo ki aadat hoti hai na. Khair kon behes kare tumse."

(Unnecessary fighting is a habit of girls, isn’t it? Anyway, who wants to argue with you?)

Riyanshi: "mujhe bhi shaukh nahi hai"

(I don’t want to argue either.)

Rishwik rolled his eyes in exasperation, his glare softening as he turned away from Riyanshi. He needed a moment to cool down, and his frustration quickly turned to amusement. With a deep sigh, he redirected his attention toward Amandeep.

Rishwik: "Chal Aman"

(Let’s go, Aman.)

Riyanshi: "Chal Avyuktaa"

(Let’s go, Avyuktaa.)

Rishwik heard Riyanshi calling the girl "Avyukta," and his gaze instinctively shifted to Amandeep. He noticed how Amandeep was completely lost in the sight of the girl in front of him, despite the accusing yet hopeful look the girl had in her eyes. Amandeep's expression was filled with guilt, and it was clear that something from his past weighed heavily on him. Rishwik, understanding the silent struggle, walked over and placed a reassuring hand on Amandeep's shoulder.

Rishwik: "Aman??"

Amandeep blinked rapidly, trying to stop the tears threatening to fall, as he snapped out of his thoughts. But when his gaze landed on Avyukta, he saw the vulnerability in her eyes—eyes that betrayed her calm exterior, filling with unshed tears.

Avyukta: "Aap yaha??"

( You’re here?)

Avyukta looked at Amandeep and asked, her voice laced with curiosity and perhaps a hint of frustration, but Amandeep couldn’t find the words. He was lost in her gaze, unable to say anything, his mind racing with unspoken thoughts. Avyukta, sensing the silence, gave a sarcastic smile, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions, and the tension in the air thickened. Riyanshi, standing nearby, was completely confused by the exchange.

Avyukta: "Aaj bhi chup rahenge kuch nahi bolenge??"

(Are you going to stay silent again? Say something!)

Amandeep, still unable to find the words, simply lowered his eyes in silence. His gaze dropped to the ground as if the weight of unspoken emotions was too much to bear.

Avyukta: "Khair mujhe toh aadat hai, bewajah hi baar baar dil bura maan jata hai."

(But I’m used to it now. Still, my heart breaks a little every time for no reason.)

Riyanshi: "Kya bol rhi hai Avyuu??"

(What are you saying, Avyuu?)

Avyukta: "Chal yaha se."

(Let’s go from here.)

Avyukta, sensing the heaviness of the moment, reached out and took Riyanshi's hand, and she began walking, her steps steady but her emotions hidden behind a mask.

Amandeep: "Yukuuu"

Avyukta stopped in her tracks, her emotions clearly warring within her. She shut her eyes tightly, as if trying to block out the thoughts racing through her mind. For a fleeting moment, she considered turning back to look at Amandeep, but she hesitated, unsure of what she might find in his gaze. With a sigh, she finally gathered the strength to keep walking.

Rishwik: "Yahii hai Avyukta??"

(Is that Avyukta?)

Amandeep nodded, he quickly turned his face, wiping away the unshed tears that threatened to betray him.

Rishwik: "aaj bhi intezar kar rahi hai Aman vo"

(She’s still waiting for you, Aman.)

Amandeep: "Jaanta hu"

(I know.)

Rishwik: "Is baar jaane mat de use, vo sath degi Tera sab janti toh hai vo"

(Don’t let her go this time. She knows everything about you.)

Amandeep: "Isi baat ka darr hai Rishi, vo sab janti hai, aur main khud ko uske samne toh nahi sambhal paunga, kaho use takleef na dedu."

(That’s what I’m scared of, Rishi. She knows everything, and I won’t be able to handle myself in front of her. What if I end up hurting her?)

Rishwik: "Aur tujhe lagta hai teri berookhi se khush hai vo??"

(Do you think she’s happy with your coldness?)

Amandeep simply dropped his gaze.

Rishwik: "Soch ke dekh le ek baar, main toh kehta hai rok le use is baar, har kisi ko dusra mauka nahi milta."

(Think about it. I’m telling you, don’t let her go this time. Not everyone gets a second chance.)

Amandeep glanced at Rishwik, his mind wandering as he began to reflect on the situation.

On the other side, a flight attendant gently handed a glass of water to a passenger, her smile polite and professional as she made sure he were comfortable.

Guy: "Thank you so much, pretty lady."

Airhostess: "You’re welcome, sir."

Guy: "It’s Aakarsh. You can call me Aakarsh."

The air hostess chuckled softly, nodding in acknowledgment.

Airhostess: "Your welcome Aakarsh."

She smiled at him warmly before turning and walking away.

Aakarsh: "Heyy uper wale akhir kab tak akela rakhne ka vichaar hai mujhe, bhej kyu nahi dete meri zindagi kisi Pari ko... Main toh use...."

(Hey God, how much longer are you planning to keep me single? Why don’t you send an angel into my life? I promise I’ll—)

Aakarsh paused mid-sentence, his voice trailing off when he noticed a girl walking towards him. She seemed to be searching for her seat, and as she drew closer. Yes it was Kritika.

Aakarsh: "Lagta hai sun li hai aapne, sach me Pari bhej di aapne toh"

(Looks like you heard me. you really send an angel)

Aakarsh grinned confidently, adjusting his light blue shirt and white pants as he straightened them, ensuring every detail of his appearance was flawless. He took a quick sniff, checking that he smelled just right. As he sat there, Kritika approached. He couldn't help but look at her, his gaze lingering. However, Kritika gave him a cold, uninterested look. Aakarsh’s grin faltered slightly, but he didn’t let it show.

Kritika: "Excuse me, Mr. Can you please move? My seat is beside you."

Aakarsh couldn’t help but grin as he realized that Kritika would be sitting beside him for the next 9 long hours. He gave her some space as she settled into her seat, but his mind was already plotting how to make the most of the journey. He waited a few minutes, watching her intently, but Kritika remained absorbed in her phone, clearly uninterested in his presence. Aakarsh cleared his throat, hoping to catch her attention, but it didn’t faze Kritika in the slightest. She continued scrolling through her phone, completely ignoring him, leaving him a little taken aback but determined not to give up.

Aakarsh: "Ye kon hai jisne mudhkar mujhe nahi dekha."

(Who is this girl who didn’t even glance at me?)

He murmured to himself, weighing the thought for a moment before deciding to take the plunge to introduce himself and start a conversation.

Aakarsh: "Umm Heyy beautiful, I'm Dr. Aakarsh Khanna."

Kritika glanced at Aakarsh when she saw him extending his hand for a handshake, but she simply rolled her eyes and reached into her purse to grab a book, completely dismissing him. Aakarsh’s hand remained suspended in the air for a moment, his mouth slightly agape, taken aback by her outright dismissal. His pride a little bruised, he didn't say anything and instead settled into his seat, trying to appear unaffected, but his eyes kept sneaking glances at Kritika, a silly grin forming on his face. As the flight took off, Aakarsh's naturally jolly nature couldn't contain itself for long. He shifted in his seat, unable to resist starting up a conversation, even though Kritika remained deeply engrossed in her book. The silence between them was soon broken by his light-hearted attempts to get her attention, though Kritika remained unfazed, still immersed in her reading. Aakarsh, however, didn’t seem ready to give up so easily, his smile growing as he prepared for his next move.

Aakarsh: "9 hours ki flight hai madam, aise ajnabee ban ke baithenge toh kaise chalega??"

(It’s a 9-hour flight, madam. How will we manage if we sit like strangers?)

Kritika: "Toh mat baitho khade ho jao"

(Then don’t sit. Stand up instead.)

Aakarsh pouted, slightly taken aback by her savage reply.

Aakarsh: "Shakal se itni rude lagti nahi ho."

(You don’t look this rude.)

Kritika: "Par hoon, ab chup rahoge ya aur sunna hai??"

(But I am. Now will you stay quiet, or do you want to hear more?)

Aakarsh stood up, muttering to himself as he made his way to the washroom. Once inside, he looked at his reflection in the mirror, taking a moment to study himself.

Aakarsh: "achcha khasa toh dikhta hu, ye pehli ladki hai jo Aakarsh Khanna ke charm se Aakarshit nahi huyi... She's something."

(I don’t look so bad, but this is the first girl who isn’t charmed by Aakarsh Khanna. She’s something.)

He examined himself in the mirror, moving his face from left to right, ensuring every detail was in place. Satisfied with his appearance, he gave himself a small nod.

Aakarsh: "Hey uper wale, ise dekhte hi dil me ghanti baj gayi, aap bas kuch toh ishara dedo that she's the one baaki toh main khud sambhal lunga."

(Hey God, just give me a sign that she’s the one. I’ll handle the rest.)

Announcement: "Dear passengers, please be seated and fasten your seatbelts. Due to weather conditions, we might face turbulence."

Aakarsh smiled softly, tilting his head upwards.

Aakarsh: "Yaha aasmaan me hu aapke itna kareeb toh jaldi sun li aapne, lagta uske sath hi bithana chahte ho... Chalo ab aapki ichcha ko kaise mana Karu."

(Up here in the sky, I’m so close to you, and you heard me already? Seems like you really want me to sit next to her. Well, how can I refuse your wish?)

He grinned at himself, feeling a bit more confident, and returned to his seat. He sat beside Kritika, but once again, she seemed to ignore his presence.

Aakarsh: "Kya yaar aise behave kar rahi ho jaise main yaha hu hi nahi."

(Why are you behaving as if I’m not even here?)

Kritika: "Listen Mr. .."

Aakarsh: "Aakarsh, Mr. Aakarsh boliye na aapki pyaari awaaz me"

( Aakarsh. Please say Mr. Aakarsh in your sweet voice.)

Kritika: "Mr. Whoever, stop bothering me. I don’t know you, and you don’t know me either, so mind your own business. I’m not here to entertain you."

Aakarsh pouted, feeling a bit disappointed by her continued indifference. Despite the nagging feeling in his chest, he decided to brush it off and kept trying to engage her in conversation throughout the flight. After a few hours, his persistence finally paid off. Kritika, seemingly unaffected by his earlier attempts, finally responded, her guard lowering as she started talking to him. Aakarsh couldn’t help but smile, feeling a sense of triumph.

Kritika: "Bahaut dheet ho tum, sunte hi nahi ho"

(You’re so annoying. You just don’t listen.)

Aakarsh: "Areh ab main itna bhi khaas nahi par shukriya."

(Well, I’m not that special, but thanks.)

Kritika just shook her head, a faint smile playing on her lips as she looked at Aakarsh.

Kritika: "Ab chup karke so jaoge please?? Mujhe bhi nind aa rahi hai."

(Will you just shut up and sleep, please? I want to sleep too.)

Aakarsh: "Jo hukum madam, aap chahe toh mere kandhe pe sar rakh ke so sakti hai"

(As you wish, madam. You can rest your head on my shoulder if you like.)

Kritika: "Flirt achcha karte ho par mujhpe kaam nahi karega so just shup up idiot and sleep."

(You’re good at flirting, but it won’t work on me. So just shut up, idiot, and sleep.)

Aakarsh: "Aapke muh Shut up bhi kitna sweet lagta hai."

(Even your “shut up” sounds so sweet.)

Kritika, uninterested in Aakarsh's flirting, simply ignored him and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep. Aakarsh, however, couldn't help but admire her from the corner of his eye. As he watched her, a soft smile tugged at his lips, and eventually, the soothing atmosphere of the flight lulled him into sleep as well, though his thoughts remained with her.
