(Rudraksh)
A few days had passed, and Ruhanika had eagerly embraced learning self-defense from the boys in the family. Initially, the training sessions left her exhausted, and Rudraksh would often make her lie down after the gym to rest after each session. He would patiently sit beside her, gently stroking her hair until she fell asleep. However, over time, Ruhanika grew stronger and more accustomed to the workouts, surprising everyone with her determination and resilience. Meanwhile, the Diwali preparations were in full swing, filling the house with a festive vibe. Ruhanika, being her enthusiastic self, was particularly thrilled about the upcoming celebrations. She had taken a special interest in every little detail, ensuring everything was perfect. One of the highlights of her excitement was a family shopping trip, where she personally selected everyoneâs outfits for each Diwali occasion. Her happiness was contagious, and the family was delighted to see her so involved.
Rudraksh, ever protective of her, had ensured that this shopping trip was both enjoyable and comfortable for Ruhanika. While he no longer emptied out the mall entirely as he once had, he carefully coordinated to make sure the atmosphere was just rightânot overly crowded but not eerily empty either. He wanted her to gradually adapt to being in public spaces, surrounded by people, without feeling overwhelmed. She felt a bit overwhelmed seeing so many people bustling around, but with Rudraksh and Ashvik by her side, she felt at ease. Their constant support made the shopping experience enjoyable and memorable for her. Gradually, her initial nervousness faded, replaced by excitement as they explored the shops together.
It was Dhanteras, and the house was adorned beautifully with strings of lights, vibrant rangolis, and fresh flowers, exuding festive cheer. Despite everyoneâs protests, Ruhanika had insisted on giving the house staff a holiday, determined to cook everyoneâs favorite dishes herself. The kitchen buzzed with the aroma of spices and sweets as Ruhanika moved around with focus, balancing multiple dishes on the stove. Savisha, knowing her well, sat quietly on a chair nearby, watching her with a fond smile. She wanted to help but refrained, understanding that Ruhanika would get a little upset if she interfered.
Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa aap kuch kaam karengi toh hum thode se naraz ho jayenge, aap bas baithiye aap thak jayengi toh nanha baby bhi thak jayega na"
(Bhabhi sa, if you do any work, weâll get a little upset. Just sit and relax; if you get tired, then the little baby will get tired too, right?)
These were the words she said to Savisha when asked if she could help her.
On the other hand, the men of the house had concocted a different plan altogether. They gathered their things and prepared to leave, claiming there was an important meeting that required their immediate attention. Rudraksh, with his usual calm demeanor, broke the news to Ruhanika. Meanwhile, Savisha and Karanjeet exchanged knowing glances, suppressing their smiles. They were well aware of the truth behind the so-called "meeting".
Around twelve luxury cars with the "RM" logo sped down the road, exuding power and wealth. Their sleek, polished bodies gleamed under the sunlight, announcing their arrival even before they reached their destination. As the cars rolled up to the gates of Rathore Mansion, the gates were already open. It was evident that Rudrakshâs men had arrived early and successfully overpowered Rathoreâs guards, taking control of the estate. Rudraksh, Kartavya, and Ashvik emerged from one car, their expressions cold and resolute. Amandeep and Rishwik followed from another, with a few more of their loyal guards trailing behind. A lawyer, was also present. The group nodded at each other, signaling their preparedness as they made their way inside the mansion.
Inside, the atmosphere was thick with tension. Vijaypratap and Sukriti, who had been sitting on the couch, immediately stiffened as they saw the group enter. Rudraksh's men had strategically surrounded them, their presence menacing and calculated. The couple's faces paled, beads of sweat quickly forming on their brows as they realized that they were trapped. This was the first time they had seen Rudraksh since Ruhanikaâs marriage, and they felt the weight of his unspoken power hanging heavily in the air. Vijaypratap and Sukriti exchanged nervous glances. They had tried countless schemes to reach Ruhanika, but each attempt had ended in failure. No matter what they tried, they couldnât break through Rudrakshâs defenses. The situation had escalated to a point where the man they sent to RM Mansion had returned to Rathore Mansion battered and near death, drenched in his own blood. It was clear to them nowâRudraksh knew much more than they had ever anticipated. Vijaypratap's mind raced as he realized they were now dealing with a far more dangerous adversary than they'd ever imagined.
Kartavya, Rudraksh, Ashvik, Rishwik, and Amandeep approached the Rathore couple, all sporting a mischievous smirk on their faces.
Rishwik: "Bhai yaar, zara apne mama sasur ko pranam toh karo."
(Brother, come on, greet your uncle and aunt properly!)
Rudraksh glared at Rishwik, causing him to gulp nervously.
Rishwik: "Nahi matlab itna bada shock dena hai toh maine socha... Heeheee"
(I mean, if youâre planning to give such a big shock, I thought⦠Hehe!)
Amandeep: "Yahi waqt milta hai tujhe mazaak karne ka??"
(Is this the right time for your jokes?)
Amandeep murmured to Rishwik.
Rishwik: "Yahi waqt milta hai tujhe taana Marne ka??"
(And is this the right time for your taunts?)
Amandeep: "Harkatein dekh apni"
(Look at your behavior.)
Rishwik: "Zyada bola toh Avyukta ko manane me help nahi karunga."
(Say one more word, and I wonât help you pacify Avyukta!)
Amandeep fell silent, as Rishwik had struck a nerve. Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rudraksh sat across from them, exuding an air of authority. Rishwik and Amandeep stood behind them, solid like strong pillars. The rest of their men had already surrounded them, forming a protective circle.
Ashvik: "Baith jaiye Kans mama, aur mami aaj mulakat lambi chalegi."
(Take a seat, Uncle Kans, and Aunty, todayâs meeting will be a long one.)
Sukriti and Vijaypratap were unsure of who Ashvik was, and they frowned in confusion. However, both of them leaned back, fear evident on their faces.
Rudraksh: "Kaise hai aap dono?? Pichli baar thik se mil nahi paye the toh socha kyu na aaj mil le."
(How are you both? Last time, we couldnât meet properly, so I thought, why not today?)
Kartavya: "Vo bhi gifts ke sath."
(And that too with gifts in hand.)
Rishwik: "Vaise pichli baar ka gift pasand aaya ki nahi aap dono ko??"
(By the way, did you like the gift we gave you last time?)
Amandeep: "Aapke khabri ki khatirdari thik se ki thi na, koi kami toh nahi thi na."
(Did we treat your informer well last time? There wasnât any shortfall, was there?)
Rishwik and Amandeep chuckled, exchanging a high five with each other. In fear, Sukriti tightly grasped her husband's hand, seeking comfort. Sensing her unease, Vijaypratap took a deep breath, trying to gather his courage, and finally spoke up, his voice slightly shaky but determined.
Vijaypratap: "It's clear that you know everything, and tum yaha hume chodne toh aaye nahi ho. Toh Jo chahiye bolo par please pehle bata do humare bachche kaha hai??"
(Itâs clear you all know everything, and youâre not here to just drop us off. So, tell us what you want, but first, please tell me where our children are!)
Tears welled up in Sukriti's eyes as she joined her hands in a desperate plea, her voice trembling as she begged for mercy in front of them.
Sukriti: "Main hath jodti hu, mere bachche mujhe vapas de do, phir jo kahoge hum karenge."
(I beg you, please give my children back to me. After that, weâll do whatever you say.)
A surge of anger coursed through the veins of the five men, their faces hardening as the tension in the room grew. It wasnât just their protective instincts flaring up, but also the knowledge of Ruhanikaâs kindness and the deep respect she commanded from everyone around her. Even Rudrakshâs men, usually calm and composed, clenched their fists in anger. They weren't just loyal to their boss but to their lady boss as well; they had seen Ruhanikaâs compassion and had been touched by her generosity, which made this situation all the more infuriating. They could no longer stand by as anyone disrespected the woman they admired so deeply. It was more than a matter of loyalty; it was personal.
Ashvik slammed his hand down on the center table in a burst of anger, his glare piercing through Sukriti. His voice was low and dangerous as he spoke, gritting his teeth with every word.
Ashvik: "Meri behen bhi aise hi royi hogi na tumhare samne, na jaane kitne baar, tab suni thi uski??"
(My sister must have cried in front of you like this too, probably countless times. Did you listen to her then?)
Sukriti and Vijaypratap exchanged nervous glances, their faces a mix of confusion and fear as they looked at Ashvik.
Vijaypratap: "Behen??"
(Sister?)
Rishwik: "Yaar Ashvik bahi, Kans mama ko intro toh dedo yaar."
(Ashvik bhai, why donât you introduce Uncle Kans to everyone?)
Ashvik: "Haa haa."
(Oh yes, sure.)
Ashvik confidently strode towards Vijaypratap, his every step radiating a sense of authority. With a smooth, deliberate motion, he placed his foot on the edge of the couch beside Vijaypratap, his posture relaxed but commanding. He casually rested his hand on his thigh, leaning in slightly, his gaze fixed on him with an unsettling intensity. The air grew thick with tension as Ashvik's body language made it clear that he wasn't just here to converseâhe was asserting control, making a silent but powerful statement.
Ashvik: "Haan ji kans mama toh miliye apne us laadle bhanje se jise aap itne saalon se dundh rahe hai."
(Kans uncle, meet your dear nephew, whom youâve been searching for all these years.)
Vijaypratap and Sukriti's eyes widened in shock, both of them frozen in place, taken aback by Ashvik's words.
Sukriti: "Ky...a, matlab kon ho tum??"
(Wh-what? I mean, who are you?)
Rudraksh also stood up, swiftly fastening the buttons of his blazer, his posture sharpening.
Rudraksh: "Vahi jisse milne ke liye aap dono tadap rahe the, Ashvik Adhiraj Rajpurohit."
(The same person you were desperate to meet â Ashvik Adhiraj Rajpurohit.)
Vijaypratap and Sukriti felt the ground beneath them tremble, as if the very foundation of their world was crumbling. Their eyes widened in sheer disbelief, almost as if they might pop out of their sockets. For years, they had searched relentlessly for Rajnandani's son, determined to silence him. And now, here he wasâstanding right before them, exuding an aura of power and authority far beyond what they had ever imagined. The realization hit them like a thunderclap: not only had they found him, but he was no longer the vulnerable figure they had once imagined.
Ashvik: "Son of Adhiraj and Rajnandani Rajpurohit, and elder brother of Ruhanika Rudraksh Malhotra."
Every word that came from Ashvik's lips felt like a weight pressing down on Vijaypratap and Sukriti, a constant reminder that their downfall was imminent. They could feel the air thickening with impending doom as fear gripped their hearts. They swallowed hard, their throats dry with dread, but Vijaypratap, stubborn as ever, stood firm on his foolish beliefs, refusing to accept the truth that was now glaring at him.
Vijaypratap: "Main kaise Maan lu??"
(How can I believe this?)
Rishwik: "Budhape me itna dimaag istamal karna thik nahi hota hai Kansuuu"
(Uncle Kans, using too much brainpower in old age isnât good for you.)
Kartavya: "Thik keh raha hai Rishi, kya hai na aage aapko dimaag lagane ki bahaut zarurat padne wali hai."
(Rishi is right. Youâll need all the brainpower you can muster soon.)
Rudraksh: "Mr. Saxena, please brief him about his bright future."
The lawyer who had accompanied Rudraksh, Mr. Saxena, stepped forward, holding a stack of files in his hands. Vijaypratap was once again taken aback.
Vijaypratap: "Saxena tum??"
(Saxena, you?)
Rudraksh: "Haa Saxena, tumhara so called lawyer, tumhari tarah hi nikla, Chand paiso me bikk gaya"
(Yes, Saxena. Your so-called lawyer turned out to be just like you â sold for a few coins.)
Vijaypratap: "Kaise kar sakte ho tum ye??"
(How could you do this?)
Mr. Saxena: "Forget about it, Sir. Iâve learned from you to always crack the deal with the bigger profit, and now Iâm using that lesson against you."
Rudraksh, Rishwik, Amandeep, Ashvik, and Kartavya exchanged smug smirks as they observed Vijaypratap and Sukriti's pale, colorless faces, their expressions reflecting a mix of satisfaction and dominance.
Rudraksh: "Stop this drama. Mr. Saxena, please proceed with the necessary steps."
Mr. Saxena: "Yes, Sir."
Mr. Saxena fixed his gaze on Vijaypratap as he flipped open the papers in his hand, his expression serious. Meanwhile, Ashvik stepped back and casually took a seat beside Kartavya, his posture relaxed but his eyes still sharp with intensity.
Mr. Saxena: "So, Mr. Rathore, itâs proven that he is Mr. Ashvik Adhiraj Rajpurohit, and the legal owner of the entire Rathore empire, along with Ruhanika andâ"
Amandeep: "Ma'am, It's Ruhanika ma'am."
Mr. Saxena glanced at Amandeep, his gaze sharp and full of warning, before quickly shifting to Rudraksh, who was visibly struggling to control his rising anger.
Rudraksh: "Continueeee.."
Rudraksh roared in fury, his voice echoing through the room. Vijaypratap, Mr. Saxena, and Sukriti flinched, instinctively recoiling at the intensity of his anger.
Mr. Saxena: "According to the DNA reports of Mr. Ashvik Rajpurohit and Ruhanika Maâam, they are siblings. He is the long-lost son of Mr. Adhiraj and Mrs. Rajnandani Rajpurohit. We have enough evidence to prove his identity as their son and the legal co-owner of the Rathore empire, along with Ruhanika Maâam."
Vijaypratap and Sukriti stood frozen, their minds racing as the reality of the situation hit them like a crashing wave. The truth was undeniableâAshvik was Ruhanika's brother. The same Ruhanika they had tried to manipulate, to harm, now had a brother with power, authority, and an unyielding desire for justice. The weight of this revelation settled heavily on their shoulders, and the horrifying realization dawned upon them: everything they had built, every scheme they had concocted, was now crumbling. Their empire, their plans, their very futureâall of it was at the mercy of the one person they had underestimated. Fear and regret took hold of them as they understood their end was not just nearâit had already arrived.
Mr. Saxena: "And as per the will of your father, Mr. Vikramaditya Rathore, everything was transferred to Rajnandani Rajpurohit. After her, it legally belongs to Mr. Ashvik Rajpurohit and Mrs. Ruhanika Malhotra."
Vijaypratap: "Kya lagta hai aise hi koi bhi aake claim karega main Maan jaunga, maine puri zindagi di hai us company ko, main aise hi utha ke de dunga tujhe?? Hai kon tu haa"
(Do you think anyone can just walk in and claim ownership, and Iâll believe it? Iâve dedicated my entire life to that company. Do you think Iâll just hand it over to you? Who even are you?)
Rudraksh stood up, his anger boiling over. With a swift motion, he shoved Vijaypratap back onto the couch and gripped his jaw tightly, his fingers digging into his skin as he glared down at him.
Rudraksh: "us company ko tune meri Ruhh ki Zindagi barbad karke banayi hai, aur uska harjana bharne ka waqt aa gaya hai."
(You built that company by destroying the life of my Ruhhh, and now itâs time for you to pay the price.)
Sukriti quickly reached out and grabbed Rudraksh's hand, pleading silently for him to release Vijaypratap's jaw. But one fierce glance from Rudraksh was enough to make her withdraw, shrinking back into her seat, fear evident in her eyes.
Rudraksh: "Shuruwat aaj se huyi hai, aaj dhanteras ke din Ashvik ko uska Haqq milega."
(It starts today. On this day of Dhanteras, Ashvik will get his rightful share.)
Rishwik: "Aur tum dono dhan ke liye tarsoge."
(And you both will yearn for wealth.)
Kartavya: "Tum dono itna time barbaad kyu kar rahe ho?? Little sunshine ke liye gift bhi lene Jana hai, jaldi karo yaar sab."
(Why are you wasting so much time? We still need to buy gifts for our little sunshine. Hurry up!)
Mr. Saxena: "Sign these papers, Mr. Rathore, and hand everything over to Mr. Rajpurohit."
Rudraksh forcefully shoved Vijaypratap's face away, sending him sprawling back onto the couch. He then stepped back, his stance tense and filled with anger.
Vijaypratap: "Main kyu karunga Aisa."
(Why should I do that?)
Rudraksh calmly pulled out his gun, placing it deliberately on the table with a cold, calculated motion. The sight of the weapon made Sukriti and Vijaypratap gulp in fear, their eyes widening with panic. Rudraksh couldn't help but smirk at their reactions, savoring the control he had over the situation.
Ashvik: "Kans mama ji mujhme thodi insaaniyat bachi hai abhi, ispe sign kar doge toh kuch chillar milte rahenge har mahine, Varna dhar dhar bhatakana padega"
(Uncle Kans, I still have a bit of humanity left. If you sign these papers, youâll get a small amount every month. Otherwise, youâll be left wandering for scraps.)
Rishwik: "Baat ko samjho yaar Kansuuu"
(Try to understand, Uncle Kans.)
Vijaypratap: "Mere bachche kaha hai??"
(Where are my children?)
Rudraksh: "Sab kuch aaj hi chahiye kya?? Kuch Diwali ke liye bhi chod do."
(Do you want everything today? Save something for Diwali.)
Rudraksh's men firmly restrained Vijaypratap, forcing him to sign the papers. A smug smirk spread across their faces as they watched him comply. Once the task was done, they stood up, and Ashvik stepped forward, his presence commanding attention.
Ashvik: "Dhanteras ki hardik shubhkamnaye Kans mama saa, Maami sa"
(Wishing you a prosperous Dhanteras, Uncle Kans, Aunt)
Rishwik: "Dhanteras ki nahi Ashvik bhai dhan ko tarasne ki"
(No, Ashvik bhai, wish him a lack of prosperity this Dhanteras.)
Amandeep and Rishwik couldn't help but chuckle once again, exchanging a playful high five as they shared a moment of satisfaction. Soon after, they all turned and left the room, their footsteps echoing as they walked away, leaving a tense silence behind them.
Sukriti: "Aap Maan kaise gaye ki vo ladka hi Ashvik hai??"
(How did you believe that boy is Ashvik?)
Vijaypratap: "Uske gale me locket tha, aur toh aur jis tarah se vo baat kar raha tha, aisa laga jaise samne Adhiraj khada ho."
(He had a locket around his neck. And the way he spokeâit felt like Adhiraj himself was standing before me.)
Sukriti: "kya iska matlab hai ab humare hath se sab kuch nikal gaya??"
(Does this mean weâve lost everything?)
Vijaypratap: "Uske sath Mafia king Leo, Ex-Mafia king Khurana hai, Mahira aur Sachet ko bachana hai toh abhi chup rehna hoga."
(He has Mafia King Leo and ex-Mafia King Khurana on his side. To save Mahira and Sachet, weâll have to stay silent for now.)
Sukriti: "Dekh bhi aise raha tha jaise abhi jaan le lega, is Ruhanika ki vajah se kya musibat gale padi hai, Zindagi narakh kar di hai usne."
(The way he was looking at me, it felt like heâd kill me right there. This Ruhanika has brought so much trouble into our lives. Sheâs turned it into hell.)
Sukriti sat there, her hand pressed against her forehead, overwhelmed with worry for her children. Her mind raced with fear and uncertainty. Meanwhile, outside the mansion door, the air was thick with tension.
Mr. Saxena: "Sir, Aap ne jaisa kaha tha vaisa kar diya hai Sir, ab toh meri family ke aas pass se apne aadmion ko hatne keh dijiye."
(Sir, Iâve done as you instructed. Now, please tell your men to stay away from my family.)
Ashvik: "Donât worry. Your family is safe now. But I hope you wonât double-cross me."
Mr. Saxena: "Never."
Ashvik: "Leave."
The lawyer, Mr. Saxena, quietly left the scene.
Kartavya: "Let's go home Dadu, Maahiye, little sunshine wait kar rahe honge."
(Letâs go home, Grandpa. Maahiye and Little Sunshine must be waiting.)
Ashvik: "Aap log chalo main aata hu kuch der me."
(You all go ahead. Iâll join in a while.)
Rishwik: "Main bhi thodi der me aata hai."
(Iâll come later too.)
They all nodded and went their separate ways. As Rudraksh and Kartavya entered the house, they were greeted by the sight of Savisha, Ruhanika, and Karanjeet sitting comfortably in the living room, sipping tea. The atmosphere was calm, but there was an unmistakable energy of fun and warmth lingering in the air.
Ruhanika: "Bhabhi saa, aap kha lijiye na ye phal, Bhai saa ne kaha tha aapko har 2 ghante me kuch khana hai."
(Bhabhi Sa, please eat these fruits. Bhai Sa said you should eat something every two hours.)
Savisha: "Ruhiii, bachcha aise toh Rudraksh bhai ne bhi kaha tha ki din me sirf ek hi coffee Pini hai, par ye hai na tumhari 3rd cup of coffee"
(Ruhi, my dear, isnât this the same Rudraksh Bhai who told you to have only one cup of coffee in a day? But this is already your third cup.)
Ruhanika: "Toh vo Aksh ghar pe nahi hai isiliye na bhabhi sa, Varna vo hume peene nahi dete hai"
(Thatâs because Aksh isnât home right now. Otherwise, he wouldnât let me drink it.)
Karanjeet: "Vahi toh khotya sab ko daant ta rehta hai"
(Thatâs exactly what Iâm saying; heâs always scolding everyone.)
Ruhanika: "Daduu, humare Aksh hume toh nahi daant te, aap jhuth mat boliye."
(Dadu, My Aksh never scolds me. Donât lie!)
Karanjeet: "Kabhi toh apne pati ke khilaaf kuch sun liya kar."
(For once, just listen to something against your husband.)
Ruhanika: "Nahii"
(Never!)
Savisha chuckled softly at their banter, a playful smile tugging at her lips.
Ruhanika: "Bhabhi saa hasiye mat, phal khaiye, chaliye aa kijiye."
(Bhabhi Sa, donât laugh. Please eat the fruits. Come on, have them now.)
Savisha finally gave in with a playful sigh and ate the fruits from Ruhanika's hand, accepting them with a smile. Rudraksh and Kartavya, who had been observing the scene, couldnât help but smile at the sweet moment unfolding. They walked towards the group, their expressions softening as they approached the cozy setting of the living room.
Kartavya: "Very good little sunshine, ye tumhari bhabhi saa ko zabardasti hi khilana padta hai."
(Very good, Little Sunshine! You really have to force-feed your Bhabhi Sa.)
Ruhanika: "Ji bhai sa humne khila diya."
(Yes, Bhai Sa, Iâve fed her.)
Ruhanika grinned playfully, but her expression faltered when she caught Rudraksh glaring at her.
Ruhanika: "Aapko kya hua, aise kyu dekh rahe hai??"
(Why are you looking at me like that?)
Rudraksh: "ye konsa cup hai tumhare coffee ka Sohneyo."
(Which cup of coffee is this for you, Sohneyo?)
Ruhanika's eyes widened in surprise, Savisha and Karanjeet couldn't help but chuckle at the amusing exchange between them.
Karanjeet: "Bol de ab bol na puttar."
(Now tell him, go on, my dear.)
Ruhanika shot an angry glare at Karanjeet, her lips forming an irritated pout as she playfully directed her frustration at him.
Ruhanika: "Aap zyada hasenge na Dadu hum pe, toh hum bhai sa ko bata denge ki aap inki burai karte hai aur Bhabhi saa ko buri buri baatein sikhatein hai"
(If you laugh at me too much, Iâll tell Bhai Sa that you talk bad about him and teach Bhabhi Sa bad things.)
Kartavya's eyes widened in surprise as he turned his gaze toward Karanjeet.
Kartavya: "Daduuu??"
Karanjeet: "Areeh ye Ruhi puttar jhuth bol rahi hai"
(Oh, this Ruhi is lying!)
Ruhanika: "Haww, Bhai saa, aap bhabhi sa se puchiye, dadu inhe keh rahe the ki Kartavya toh khotya hai uski mat suna kar."
(Haww! Bhai Sa, ask Bhabhi Sa! Dadu was saying, "Donât listen to Kartavya; heâs an idiot.)
Kartavya's gaze turned into a fierce glare as he stared at Karanjeet, who sat there looking as frightened as a deer caught in headlights. Ruhanika couldn't help but giggle at the sight of Karanjeet's nervous reaction.
Rudraksh: "Tum pehle apna batao betu, kitni coffee pi hai??"
(You first tell me how many cups of coffee youâve had, dear.)
Ruhanika made a puppy face, her eyes wide and filled with innocence, her expression so pure and sweet that it softened the atmosphere around her.
Ruhanika: "teesri hai Aksh, hum kya kare humare sar me itna dard tha humse sehen nahi hua"
(This is the third one, Aksh. What could I do? I had such a headache, I couldnât bear it.)
Ruhanika spoke in a soft, sad tone, lowering her head as if overwhelmed by something. Rudraksh's expression shifted to concern as he immediately reached out, placing his hands on her shoulders and gently checking her temperature, worried about her well-being.
Rudraksh: "Arehh aise achanak sar dard kyu hua?? Abhi bhi hai??"
(Why did your head start hurting all of a sudden? Do you still have a headache?)
Ruhanika: "Halka sa"
(A little bit.)
Rudraksh: "Ruko main doctor ko bulata hu."
(Wait, Iâll call the doctor.)
Rudraksh quickly took out his phone to call the doctor, his face filled with worry. However, Savisha gently placed her hand on his, stopping him. She looked at him with a calm yet concerned expression, silently assuring him.
Savisha: "kuch nahi hua hai Ruhi ko bhai, nautanki kar rahi hai."
(Thereâs nothing wrong with Ruhi, Bhai. Sheâs just being dramatic.)
Rudraksh glanced back at Ruhanika, his concern still lingering, but when he met her gaze, he saw a mischievous gleam in her eyes. Before he could react, she giggled and darted away, only to bump into Ashvik, who was quick to catch her just in time. She giggled, her face lighting up with amusement as Ashvik steadied her. Rudraksh watched the scene unfold, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he shook his head, fully aware of Ruhanikaâs knack for causing a bit of chaos in the most charming way.
Ashvik: "Teddy, kaha bhagti rehti hai din bhar"
(Teddy, why are you always running around?)
Ruhanika: "Aksh se bach ke"
( To avoid Aksh!)
Ashvik and Ruhanika both chuckled, clearly enjoying the moment, while the rest of the group shook their heads in amusement, unable to help but smile at their playful antics.
Ashvik: "Achcha chal aaja kuch laaya hu tere liye."
(Alright, come here. Iâve got something for you.)
Ruhanika: "Kya bhaiyu?"
(What is it, Bhaiyuu?)
At the same moment, Rishwik and Amandeep entered the room, their presence adding to the lively atmosphere. They exchanged knowing glances as they observed the playful exchange between Ashvik and Ruhanika.
Rishwik: "Nahi pehle Mera gift dekhegi"
(No, first sheâll see my gift.)
Ruhanika: "Taufaa laye hai aap dono humare liye??"
(You both brought me gifts?)
Ashvik: "Haan ji par pehle Mera dekhegi teddy"
(Yes, but first youâll see mine, Teddy.)
Rishwik: "Maine bola na Mera."
(I already said, sheâll see mine first.)
Both Rishwik and Ashvik began to argue, their voices rising as they exchanged banter. Ruhanika watched them in confusion, her head moving back and forth from Rishwik to Ashvik, unsure of which side to take or what was happening.
Karanjeet: "Main bolu kuch??"
(Shall I say something?)
Rishwik: "Ek ek karke dikha dete hai koi baat nahi."
(Letâs just show her one by one. No problem.)
Ashvik: "Haa vahi toh, chal teddy."
(Yeah, exactly. Come on, Teddy.)
Savisha, Rudraksh, and Kartavya chuckled at the sight of Ashvik and Rishwik looking terrified by just one look from their grandfather. The playful tension in the air was palpable as Rishwik quickly placed his hand over Ruhanika's eyes. Meanwhile, Ashvik, stepped in and gently held Ruhanika by her shoulder, guiding her out of the house.
Ashvik and Rishwik exchanged a brief glance.
Rishwik: "Aapko bhi yahi Lena tha?"
(You got the same thing as me?)
Ashvik: "Haa toh tu kuch aur le leta"
(Yeah, so you couldâve gotten something else.)
Both Ashvik and Rishwik shot accusing looks at each other, Ruhanika stood there in the middle, completely confused.
Ruhanika: "Hume bhi bataiye"
(Tell me too!)
Rishwik gently withdrew his hand from Ruhanikaâs eyes, and she blinked a few times before looking straight ahead, her confusion still lingering as she tried to make sense of the situation unfolding around her.
Ruhanika: "Ye toh 2 nayi gaadiya lag rahi hai"
(These look like two new cars.)
Ashvik: "Haan ji, aur dono teri hai"
(Yes, and both of them are yours.)
Rishwik: "Haa Ashvik bhai mera copy karke laaye hai."
(Yeah, Ashvik Bhai copied me.)
Ashvik: "Shut up idiot my brand is better."
(Shut up, idiot. My brand is better.)
Ruhanika: "Par hume gaadi chalana kaha aata hai??"
(But I donât even know how to drive!)
Ashvik: "Toh Rudraksh ko kis din ke liye rakha hai, vo banega na tera driver."
(Thatâs what Rudraksh is for. Heâll be your driver.)
Rishwik: "Vo bhi Khushi se."
(And heâll do it happily.)
Rudraksh smiled warmly, his expression softening as he didnât mind driving the car for Ruhanika.
Ruhanika: "Par itna bada tohfa hum..."
(But such a big gift⦠Iâ¦)
Ashvik and Rishwik both gently held one of Ruhanika's hands.
Ashvik: "Itne saalon se har tyohar pe paise toh hote the, par kispe kharcha karu nahi pata tha, ab jab mere pass meri family meri behen hai, toh bas uspe sab lutana chahta hu."
(For so many years, I had money for every festival but didnât know where to spend it. Now that I have my family, my sister, I just want to spend it all on her.)
Ruhanika's eyes began to glisten with unshed tears, her emotions clearly stirred as she felt the weight of the care and attention from Ashvik and Rishwik. She blinked quickly, trying to hold back the tears, but her heart swelled with appreciation for their support.
Ruhanika: "Aap humse aise kahenge toh hum ro denge na bhaiyuu, bhavuk kar diya hume aapne"
(If you say things like this, Iâm going to cry, Bhaiyuu. Youâve made me emotional.)
Rishwik: "Aur meri lines chura Li, main bhi toh yahi kehna chahta tha."
(And youâve stolen my lines! I wanted to say the same thing.)
Rishwik shot a sharp glare at Ashvik, who simply rolled his eyes in response, clearly unfazed. Ruhanika, caught in the middle of their silent exchange, looked back and forth between them in confusion.
Ruhanika: "Par aap toh bhabhi sa aur Kriti didi ko tohfe de sakte hai na Rishi Bhai"
(But Rishi Bhai, you can give gifts to Bhabhi Sa and Kriti Didi, right?)
Rishwik: "Ab main tumhe apna dukh kya batau Angel, bhabhi aur Kriti di dono badi hai mujhse, mujhe unhe pamper karne deti hi nahi, isiliye ab main tumhe bigaadunga."
(Angel, let me tell you my tragedy. Both Bhabhi and Kriti Di are older than me, and they never let me pamper them. Thatâs why Iâm going to spoil you instead.)
Rishwik and Ruhanika exchanged a grin. Ashvik, sensing the shift, subtly signaled to a servant, who immediately went inside to carry out his instructions, leaving the trio to enjoy their lighthearted exchange.
Karanjeet: "ik chittar padega agar meri phool si bachchi ko apne jaisa shaitaan banaya toh"
(Youâll get a smack if you turn my delicate flower into a little devil.)
Savisha: "Padna bhi chahiye dadu, harkatein dekh lo iski burai kar raha hai meri"
(He should get one, Dadu! Just look at his behaviorâtalking bad about me.)
Kartavya: "Meri Maahiye agar gussa huyi aur unka mood kharab hua toh aaj toh nahi bachega tu."
(If my Maahiye gets upset and her mood gets spoiled, you wonât be spared today.)
Ruhanika: "bhai sa, Dadu aap dono kyu Dara rahe hai humare Rishi Bhai ko"
(Bhai Sa, Dadu, why are you scaring my Rishi Bhai?)
Karanjeet: "Rudraksh tak thik tha, ab is kudi de aage, isde bhaiyo ko bhi koi kuch nahi bol sakta hai"
(It was Rudraksh before. Now even her brothers canât say anything in front of this girl.)
Ruhanika grinned, her eyes sparkling with amusement as Rishwik playfully rotated his hands around her. With a dramatic flair, he then cracked his fingers on his forehead.
Rishwik: "Meri Angel, finally in jallado se bachane koi toh aaya"
(My Angel, finally someone has come to save me from these tyrants.)
Ruhanika: "Ji Rishi Bhai, hum bachayenge aapko."
(Yes, Rishi Bhai, Iâll protect you.)
Kartavya and Karanjeet both took a step forward towards Rishwik. In response, Rishwik took a quick step back.
Rishwik: "Ahhh, Angel aao chalo car dekhte hai."
(Ahhh, Angel, come on, letâs go see the cars.)
Rishwik swiftly guided Ruhanika towards the two new cars, his movements smooth and protective. Just as they reached the vehicles, a servant approached them, carrying a plate filled with Alta, the bright red dye ready for the ritual. The moment felt both serene and filled with anticipation.
Ruhanika: "bhaiyuu ye kyu??"
(Bhaiyuu, why this?)
Ashvik: "Batata hu"
(Iâll tell you.)
Ashvik gently lifted Ruhanika in his arms, his movements tender as he carefully carried her. Rishwik, standing beside them, took the plate of Alta and dipped Ruhanikaâs feet into the red dye after carefully removing her footwear. Ruhanika watched in awe as her footprints were printed on both cars, a beautiful gesture marking the beginning of something special. Overwhelmed by the moment, she wrapped her arms around Ashvik, feeling deeply touched by the thoughtfulness of the gesture.
Ashvik smiled warmly, holding her close for a moment before gently setting her back down on her feet. Rishwik, ever attentive, helped her slip her footwear back on, ensuring she was comfortable. The little ritual filled the atmosphere with a sense of love and joy, leaving Ruhanika with a heart full of gratitude.
Ashvik: "Teddyyy, rote nahi hai beta"
(Teddyyy, donât cry, my dear.)
Ruhanika: "Toh rulate nahi hai na bhaiyu, aap bilkul papa ki tarah hai, Nima batati thi ki mumma papa hum dono se bahaut Prem karte the, aur aap bhi vaise hi karte hai."
(Then donât make me cry, Bhaiyuu. Youâre just like Papa. Nima used to say that Mumma and Papa loved us both so much, and you love me the same way.)
Ruhanika's tears flowed freely as the emotions overwhelmed her. Ashvik, sensing her distress, pulled her into a tight hug, hiding his own tears behind his strong demeanor. Ruhanika, understanding the unspoken bond between them, gently rubbed his back, offering comfort before slowly pulling back, her eyes meeting his with a silent understanding.
Ruhanika: "Achcha bhaiyuu, aapki aur Akshu bhabhi ki bhi pehli Diwali hai na, unse milne nahi jayenge?? Unhe ghar leke aayenge??"
(Alright, Bhaiyuu, itâs your and Akshu Bhabhiâs first Diwali too, right? Wonât you go meet her? Wonât you bring her home?)
Ashvik smiled softly, his eyes filled with warmth, and gently ruffled Ruhanika's hair.
Ashvik: "Jaa Raha hu, lekar aata hai hu use."
(Iâm going. Iâll bring her back.)
Ruhanika: "Hum intezar karenge."
(Iâll wait.)
Rishwik: "Aur mujhe kya?? Mujhe pyaar nahi milega kya??"
(And what about me? Donât I deserve any love?)
Ruhanika and Ashvik exchanged a playful glance, their giggles filling the air as they looked at Rishwikâs adorable pout. Ruhanika, unable to resist the moment, wrapped her arms around Rishwik in a warm hug. Ashvik followed suit, pulling both Rishwik and Ruhanika into a tight embrace, playfully crushing Ruhanika between them. The laughter echoed as Kartavya, Savisha, and Karanjeet joined the group, all squeezing into the loving circle around Ruhanika.
Rudraksh, who had been admiring the close bond they shared, couldnât help but smile at the sight of his familyâs warmth and affection. But as the moment continued, he walked over and, with a gentle but firm pull, drew Ruhanika towards him, wrapping her in his own embrace, his presence calming and protective. He held her close, feeling her nestled in his arms, a subtle but significant reminder of how much she meant to him. The family, all gathered together, shared in the affection and love, creating a beautiful, unforgettable moment of unity.
Rudraksh: "Biwi hai meri, sach ki teddy nahi jo daba rahe ho use."
(Sheâs my wife, not your teddy, so stop hugging her like that.)
They all rolled their eyes at Rudraksh's obvious possessiveness, but Ruhanika, finding comfort in his embrace, hugged him tighter, a soft smile playing on her lips.
Ruhanika: "Aksh, hum aur aap is gaadi me date pe jayenge."
(Aksh, you and I will go on a date in this car.)
Rudraksh's eyes widened in surprise. while the others couldnât help but smirk at the playful moment between them, except Ashvik.
Ashvik: "Tu mujhse Bina puche meri behen ko date pe leke jaata hai??"
(You take my sister on a date without asking me?)
Ashvik shot a sharp glare at Rudraksh, his expression challenging, but Rudraksh simply rolled his eyes in response, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.
Rudraksh: "Main apni biwi ko leke jaata hu, any problem??"
(I take my wife on dates. Any problem?)
Ashvik, caught off guard by Rudraksh's nonchalant reaction, found himself momentarily tongue-tied, unable to come up with a retort. The others couldn't hold back their laughter, the lighthearted atmosphere filling the air as Ashvik gave an exaggerated sigh, realizing he had been outdone.
In a quiet corner of the cafe, Amandeep sat with a tense posture, his teeth clenched tightly. His grip on the spoon was so forceful that it was bending under the pressure, as if he were trying to crush it. The veins in his hand were visible, his knuckles white from the strain. His anger simmered beneath the surface, barely contained. The calm atmosphere of the cafe contrasted sharply with the storm brewing inside him. It was clear, he was finding it difficult to keep his emotions in check.
Amandeep: "Pehle itni masoom thi, aur ab dekho, aisa Shaitani Dimaag laga ke aayi hai mera dil jalane ke liye."
(She used to be so innocent, and now look at her, bringing such devilish ideas just to burn my heart.)
Amandeep slammed his hand down on the table, the force of the impact causing the cups to rattle. His eyes were burning with frustration as he stared at the scene unfolding before him. He had specifically called Avyukta to meet and have a serious conversation, but she had shown up with a male companion, completely disregarding his presence. She acted as if she didnât even know him, completely ignoring Amandeep's existence. The cold dismissal stung, and his anger was mounting with every passing second.
Avyukta: "Achcha Sachin, aur batao life me sab kaisa chal raha hai"
(Alright Sachin, tell me, how's life going for you?)
Avyukta glanced at Amandeep from the corner of her eye, clearly aware of the effect her actions were having on him. She smiled slyly as she casually placed her hand on Sachin's, her fingers brushing against his in a deliberate display of affection. The small, teasing gesture was like a match to Amandeepâs growing fury. His grip on the table tightened, his jaw clenched, and every word they spoke seemed to fuel his rage further. Despite his best efforts to remain composed, he could hear their every word, as they were seated just beside him. The more she ignored him, the more his anger swelled, threatening to boil over.
Amandeep: "Life bachegi toh usme kuch chalega na"
(Life has to survive first for something to happen in it, right?)
Amandeep muttered under his breath, his frustration growing with every passing second. Just as his anger was about to reach its peak, Sachinâs phone rang. He excused himself and stepped outside, giving Amandeep the perfect opportunity. Seizing the moment, Amandeep stood up and walked over to Avyukta's seat. Without a word, he grabbed her phone, placed it aside, and firmly took her hand in his. His grip was assertive, the intensity in his eyes undeniable as he stared down at her, his presence overwhelming in the quiet tension that filled the air.
Amandeep: "Yukuuu, ye kya kar rahi hu baba tum, maine tumhe yaha kuch baat karne ko bulaya tha"
(Yuku, what are you doing, dear? I called you here to talk about something.)
Avyukta: "Aap kon hai bhaisahab, main nahi janti aapko"
(Who are you, Brother? I donât know you.)
Amandeep: "Bhaisahab???? Yuku, yaar jaan lelo lekin itna zulm toh mat karo"
(Brother? Yuku, take my life if you must, but donât be so cruel.)
Avyukta: "Areh yaar kon hai aap hath chodiye mera main chillaungi."
(Hey, who are you? Let go of my hand, or Iâll scream.)
Amandeep closed the distance between them, his presence commanding as he leaned in closer. He gently cupped Avyukta's face in his hands, his fingers brushing her skin with an intensity that spoke volumes. His eyes locked with hers, something deeper reflecting in his gaze, as if silently demanding her attention and response.
Amandeep: "Chillao"
(Go ahead, scream.)
Avyukta: "Dek..ho, main.. main sach me chilla dungi"
(Look... I... Iâll really scream.)
Amandeep: "Toh sach me chillao na"
(Then really scream.)
Avyukta was left momentarily speechless, her breath caught in the intensity of the moment. The closeness between them made her heart race, and she struggled to find her voice. Amandeep, sensing her silence, gave her a knowing smile, his demeanor softening. He leaned back into his seat, still holding her hand gently. Avyukta took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing thoughts, the warmth of his touch lingering on her skin.
Amandeep: "Yukuuu, Janiye, ek mauka dogi mujhe meri baat rakhne ka??"
(Yuku... dear, will you give me a chance to say what I need to?)
Avyukta lowered her gaze, her eyes still moist from the overwhelming emotions she was trying to contain. The weight of the moment, coupled with the closeness between them, made it hard to keep her composure. She could feel the warmth of Amandeep's hand still holding hers.
Avyukta: "Par main naraz hu aapse, aap mujhe aise hi chod ke India aa gaye, sab kuch toh janti hu main phir kya hai aisa jo mujhe dur kar diya."
(But Iâm upset with you. You left me like that and went to India. I know everything, so why did you push me away?)
Amandeep: "Mera Darr tha, tumhari galti nahi hai, main hi pagal tha jaaniye, par Vada karta hu aisi galti dobara nahi karunga."
(It was my fear, not your fault. I was the fool, dear, but I promise I wonât make such a mistake again.)
Amandeep, noticing the tears that threatened to fall, gently reached out and softly wiped them away with his thumb. His touch was tender, as if trying to soothe the storm of emotions within her.
Avyukta: "Thik hai, Maan jaaungi aapki baat, par abhi main naraz hu toh aap manao mujhe"
(Fine, Iâll listen to you, but Iâm still upset right now. Youâll have to cheer me up.)
Amandeep let out a soft chuckle, his mind drifting back to the past. He remembered the innocence of those days, when he and Yukuu had been inseparable, he was lost in the memory of his childhood love, his Yukuu.
Amandeep: "Jo hukum mere aaka"
(As you command, my queen.)
Avyukta let out a soft chuckle, her emotions overwhelming her as she leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Amandeep. He stilled for a moment, caught off guard by the unexpected gesture, but then a serene smile spread across his face. Closing his eyes, he let himself savor the moment, feeling an indescribable solace in her embrace. It wasnât just a hugâit was years of unsaid words, emotions that had lingered between them, and the unspoken comfort they found in each other. For Amandeep, it felt like the world had quieted, leaving only the warmth of her presence. He gently rested his chin on her shoulder, as if silently vowing never to let this peace slip away.
Avyukta: "I missed you bahaut saaraaa"
(I missed you so much.)
Amandeep: "I too missed you yuku"
(I missed you too, Yuku.)
Avyukta: "Par main ab bhi naraz hu"
(But Iâm still mad at you.)
Amandeep: "Main Mana lunga"
(Iâll make it up to you.)
Avyukta smiled softly, her cheeks tinged with a rosy hue, and nestled her face into the curve of his neck, seeking comfort and closeness in his warm embrace.
At Malhotra Empires head office,
Rishwik parked his car with his usual flair, casually rolling his car keys around his fingers as he walked toward the entrance. Removing his sleek black goggles, he pushed open the glass door, only to find himself colliding with someone. The sudden impact sent him tumbling backward, landing unceremoniously on the floor with a girl sprawled on top of him. Blinking in surprise, Rishwik opened his eyes, only to be met with a face he instantly recognizedâa familiar angelic face that made him smile. But the warm expression on his face was met with an icy glare as the girl, none other than Riyanshi, opened her eyes and her features twisted in anger. Rishwik scrambled to his feet, his smile faltering as he noticed her meticulously drawn designs scattered across the floor. Riyanshiâs glare sharpened, and he corrected his disheveled outfit while trying to gather his composure. Her furious expression was unmistakable, but Rishwik smiled sweetly at her.
Riyanshi: "Kya kiya ye, meri sari mehnat gira di"
(What have you done? Youâve ruined all my hard work!)
Rishwik's smile faded instantly, replaced by a furrowed brow as irritation flickered across his face, his demeanor shifting from calm to visibly frustrated.
Rishwik: "Ek toh jab dekho takrati rehti ho mujhse aur galti meri hai"
(And youâre always bumping into me! How is it my fault?)
Riyanshi: "Toh tum aate kyu ho mere raste me"
(Then why do you keep getting in my way?)
Rishwik: "Tum thik se kyu nahi chal sakti, har waqt girna padna zaruri hai??"
(Why canât you walk properly? Is it necessary to stumble and fall all the time?)
Riyanshi: "Tumse matlab?? Ek toh nuksaan karaya uper se behes kar rahe ho"
(Whatâs it to you? First, you caused trouble, and now youâre arguing with me.)
Riyanshi began hurriedly gathering her designs, her movements tense and purposeful. As Rishwik bent down to assist her, she quickly snatched the designs from his hand, her expression sharp and guarded. He froze for a moment, his eyes narrowing into a glare, before straightening up, his posture rigid with suppressed frustration.
Rishwik: "Aisi batameez ho, yaha kar kya Rahi ho tum, kis bewakoof ne andar aane Diya hai tumhe??"
(Why are you so rude? What are you even doing here? Who let someone like you in?)
Riyanshi: "Zyada na bakwaas mat karo, yaha aane layak toh tum nahi ho idiot, main toh mehnat se aayi hu"
(Donât talk nonsense. Youâre the one who shouldnât be allowed here, idiot. I worked hard to get here.)
Rishwik: "Haa logo se takra ke unse behes karne me bahaut mehnat lagti hai na??"
(Yeah, bumping into people and picking fights must take a lot of effort, huh?)
Riyanshi: "Youuuuh"
(You...)
Riyanshi pointed her finger at Rishwik, her eyes blazing with defiance. In response, he took a deliberate step forward, his gaze locking onto hers with an intensity that filled the air with palpable tension.
Rishwik: "Mee what??"
Riyanshi: "Tum jaiso ko andar aane kon deta hai, Malhotra sir se baat karni padegi lagta hai"
(Who even lets people like you in? Iâll have to talk to Mr. Malhotra about this.)
Rishwik: "Kisse??"
(To whom?)
Riyanshi: "Bolo, yaha kaam karte ho aur president ka hi naam nahi pata hai, sahi kaha tha maine Bandar jaisi shakal hai, bandar jaisi akal hai."
(Oh, you work here and donât even know the presidentâs name? I was right. You look like a monkey and think like one too.)
Riyanshi shot Rishwik a fiery glare before forcefully pushing him aside. Without sparing him another glance, she turned on her heel and stormed out, her footsteps echoing with frustration and determination.
Rishwik: "Achcha toh yaha kaam karti hai aur aate hi Rishwik the great hacker Malhotra se panga, ab dekhna kya karta hu, badla nahi liya toh mera naam bhi Rishwik Malhotra nahi."
(Oh, so you work here? And your first move is to mess with Rishwik, the great hacker? Now watch what Iâll do. If I donât get my revenge, my name isnât Rishwik Malhotra.)
A smirk tugged at the corner of Rishwik's lips as his thoughts lingered on the confrontation. He then made his way inside, where the staff greeted him with polite nods. Without wasting any time, he headed straight to his office, the door clicking shut behind him. Sitting down at his desk, he began sifting through the system, meticulously gathering all the data about Riyanshi, his fingers moving with precision as he reviewed every detail stored in their files.
In a cozy corner of the restaurant, Akshavi sat contentedly, her fingers intertwined with Ashvik's. She absentmindedly played with his fingers, gently tracing the lines of his hand as she smiled at him, the soft glow of the dim lights adding warmth to their quiet moment together.
Akshavi: "Sugarpiee, mujhe nahi lagta papa manenge"
(Sugarpie, I donât think Dad will agree.)
Ashvik gently caressed Akshavi's hands, his fingers brushing over hers in a tender, comforting gesture.
Ashvik: "Nahi maane toh unke samne hi utha ke le jaunga tumhe Shavi, par mujhe unse baat karne toh do tum."
(If he doesnât, Iâll carry you off in front of him, Shavi. But let me talk to him first, alright?)
Akshavi: "Thik hai aap karlo baat."
(Fine, go ahead.)
Akshavi spoke in a sad tone, her voice barely above a whisper, and Ashvikâs expression darkened. He didnât like hearing that sadness in her voice.
Ashvik: "Achcha pata hai teddy yaad kar rahi thi tumhe, ghar bula rahi hai."
(By the way, you know Teddyâs been missing you and calling you over to visit.)
Akshavi's mood shifted in an instant as a burst of excitement overtook her. Her eyes sparkled, and a wide grin spread across her face, completely transforming her expression. The sudden change in her energy was contagious, and Ashvik couldn't help but smile in response.
Akshavi: "Ohh yess, Aap jante hai is Diwali main Ruhi ko lehenga pehnane wali hu, mazaa aayega na, sab sath me celebrate karenge"
(Oh yes! You know, this Diwali, Iâm going to make Ruhi wear a lehenga. Itâll be so much fun celebrating together.)
Ashvik nodded with a smile. He slowly extended a small box towards Akshavi, watching her closely. She blinked in confusion, her brow furrowing slightly as she glanced between him and the box, wondering what he was up to.
Akshavi: "Ye kya??"
(Wait, whatâs this?)
Ashvik: "Ek chota sa tohfa us ladki ke liye jo mere Bunglow ko ghar banayegi."
(A small gift for the girl whoâs going to turn my house into a home.)
Akshavi's confusion melted into a smile as she carefully opened the box. Her eyes widened in surprise as she gazed at the beautiful diamond ring nestled inside, its sparkling facets catching the light. A sense of awe and warmth filled her heart, and she looked up at Ashvik, her smile growing even brighter as she realized the significance of the moment.
Ashvik: "Abhi sirf de raha hu, bahaut jaldi pure haq se pehna ke le jaunga tumhe."
(For now, Iâm just giving it to you. Very soon, Iâll make you wear it with full rights and take you with me.)
Akshavi stood up from her seat, her excitement overwhelming her as she looked at Ashvik. Without a second thought, she threw herself into his arms, catching him off guard for a moment. Ashvikâs smile deepened as he instinctively wrapped his arms around her, holding her close with warmth and affection. They stood there, wrapped in each other's embrace.
Suddenly, they heard a throat clear. Akshavi and Ashvik both turned to look, only to find Mr. Akshat Rajshree, Akshavi's father, standing there with a raised eyebrow. Akshavi's heart skipped a beat, and a wave of apprehension washed over her. She instinctively tightened her grip on Ashvik's hand, worried that her father might have something to say about their relation.
Akshavi: "Papa aap yaha"
(Dad, Youâre here!)
Ashvik gently caressed Akshavi's head, offering her a reassuring touch as he steadied his gaze on Mr. Akshat Rajshree. His expression was calm but confident, meeting Akshatâs eyes without hesitation, silently conveying his respect and his feelings for Akshavi.
Akshat: "Akshu, thodi der ke liye bahar ja mujhe baat karni hai Ashvik se"
(Akshu, step outside for a bit. I need to talk to Ashvik.)
Akshavi: "No papa aapk..."
(No, Dad, you caâ)
Akshat: "Akshu nowww"
Akshavi looked up at Ashvik, her eyes searching his for reassurance. He blinked at her gently, a silent promise of support. Without saying a word, Akshavi quietly walked out, accompanied by a few of Akshat's men, ensuring her safety as she left the room. Once she was out of sight, Akshat walked toward Ashvik and took a seat across from him, his expression unreadable.
Akshat: "baitho"
(Sit down.)
Ashvik sat down across from Akshat with unwavering confidence, his posture straight and composed. He met Akshat's gaze without flinching, his calm demeanor suggesting that he was ready for whatever conversation lay ahead.
Akshat: "Akshu ke bare me baat karne nahi aaya"
(Iâm not here to talk about Akshu.)
A subtle wave of confusion crept over Ashvik, his mind racing to understand the meaning behind Akshat's words.
Akshat: "Akshavi ne bataya mujhe tumhare background ke baare me. Usi ke liye baat karni hai"
(Akshavi told me about your background. Thatâs what I want to discuss.)
Ashvik: "Pehle aapko problem thi ki meri koi pehchan nahi hai, aur ab jab pata hai toh kya ab bhi aapko"
(Earlier, your problem was that I had no identity. Now that you know about me, do you still have an issue?)
Akshat: "Adhiraj dost tha mera"
(Adhiraj was my friend.)
Ashvikâs eyes widened in shock as the realization hit him.
Ashvik: "Aap papa ko ... Kaise matlab.."
(You... you knew my dad? But how?)
Akshat: "Bachpan ke dost hai hum dono, wada kiya tha usse ki apni beti ki shadi uske bete se karunga"
(We were childhood friends. I had promised him that Iâd marry my daughter to his son.)
Ashvik sat silently, his shock still evident in his wide eyes as he listened intently to Akshat. He didnât interrupt, allowing the words to sink in, his mind grappling with the unexpected revelation.
Akshat: "Uski aur bhabhi ki maut ke baad maine ki thi koshish tujhe aur Ruhanika beti ko dundhne ke par nahi mila kuch, phir pata chala Vijaypratap ki harkat ke baare me, koshish ki thi ki Ruhanika ko vaha se azaad kar saku par."
(After he and your mom passed away, I tried to find you and Ruhanika. But I found nothing. Then I learned about Vijaypratapâs deeds. I even tried to rescue Ruhi from there, but...)
Ashvik sat frozen, his mind reeling from the unexpected turn of events. The words Akshat was speaking felt like a whirlwind in his head, completely unanticipated. His shock deepened with every sentence, and he struggled to process the reality of what he was hearing.
Ashvik: "Par ... Par kya uncle"
(But what, Uncle?)
Akshat: "Vijaypratap akela nahi hai in sab me"
(Vijaypratap isnât alone in all this.)
Ashvik: "Matlab??"
(What do you mean?)
Akshat: "Matlab ki janta hu tu aur Rudraksh underworld se connected ho, mere bhi connections hai Ruhi ko vaha se azaad karna mere liye koi mushkil nahi thi..... Par maine jitni baar koshish ki mere aadmiyo ki laash hi mili mujhe."
( I mean that I know you and Rudraksh are connected to the underworld. I have my own connections too. Rescuing Ruhi wasnât difficult for me. But every time I tried, all I got back were my menâs corpses.)
Ashvik: "Aap kehna chahte hai Kans mama ke sath koi aur Mila hua hai??"
(Are you saying that Uncle Vijay has an accomplice?)
Akshat: "Haa, uske uper zarur kisi ka hath hai, Varna ye sab kaha kisi se chupta hai, par ek aur baat hai jo bahaut zaruri hai"
(Yes. Someone powerful is backing him. Otherwise, how could this remain hidden? But thereâs one more thing you need to know.)
Ashvik: "Kya??"
(What?)
Akshat: "I think, Vijaypratap ne hi Adhiraj aur Rajnandani bhabhi ka khoon kiya hai"
(I believe Vijaypratap was the one who killed Adhiraj and Rajnandini.)
Ashvik went completely numb, his body stiffening as the words sank in. He could hardly process what he was hearing, his mind in disbelief. Every part of him screamed that this couldnât be real, yet Akshatâs words hung in the air, undeniable and unrelenting.
Ashvik: "M.. murder"
Akshat: "Yess, I know it's shocking but mujhe pura Shaq hai Vijaypratap pe, vo lalchi insaan daulat ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hai"
(Yes. I know itâs shocking, but Iâm almost certain. That greedy man could do anything for wealth.)
Ashvik: "Vo accident nahi murder tha aapko Aisa kyu lagta hai??"
(Why do you think the accident was actually a murder?)
Akshat: "Us din, Jaisalmer lautne se pehle Adhiraj ka call aaya tha, usne bataya kuch dino se use lag raha tha ki uski family pe koi Nazar rakhe hai, aur phir achanak se vo accident haadsa toh nahi ho sakta na."
(That day, before returning to Jaisalmer, Adhiraj called me. He said heâd felt like his family was being watched for a few days. Then suddenly, the accident happened. It couldnât have been a coincidence.)
Ashvik's anger surged, his veins visibly throbbing as he clenched his fists tightly, struggling to contain the fury building inside him. His jaw tightened, and the heat of his frustration radiated through his body. But before he could lash out, Akshat calmly placed his hand on Ashvik's clenched fist, his touch firm yet controlled. The simple gesture stopped Ashvik in his tracks, grounding him momentarily, even as his anger simmered beneath the surface.
Akshat: "Main janta hu Ruhi tumhari zindagi me laut chuki hai toh tumhe sab pata hai aur tum Vijaypratap ko chodoge nahi, bas yaad rakhna kabhi bhi zarurat pade toh ye ek aur baap hai tumhara tumhare sath...."
(I know Ruhi is back in your life, and you must know everything by now. Iâm sure you wonât spare Vijaypratap. Just remember, if you ever need anything, you have another father here to support you.)
Ashvik: "Matlab??"
(What do you mean?)
Akshat gestured to his men, who quickly moved to bring Akshavi. As they called her in, she appeared visibly nervous, her eyes darting between Akshat and Ashvik. The tension in the room grew thick, and Akshavi's steps were hesitant as she entered.
Without warning, Akshat walked toward her, his expression stern. In one swift motion, he pushed her toward Ashvik, who instinctively reached out and caught her in his arms. He held her protectively.
Akshat: "Matlab ki bharosa hai tum pe tum sambhal loge is aafat ki pudiya ko"
(I trust you. Youâll handle this little troublemaker.)
Akshavi: "Papa yaar"
(Dad!)
Akshat chuckled lightly, his eyes lingering on the pair before he turned and walked away. Ashvikâs smile was faint as he watched Akshat leave, but his attention quickly shifted back to Akshavi, who remained visibly upset, her sadness evident in her eyes. Gently cupping her face, Ashvik tilted her chin to meet his gaze. His expression softened with concern as he asked, his voice tender.
Ashvik: "Kya hua??"
(What happened?)
Akshavi: "Papa Maan Gaye, matlab ab main bhaag ke shadi nahi kar sakti??"
(Dadâs agreed! Does this mean I canât elope anymore?)
Ashvik facepalmed himself, his amusement evident as he shook his head in disbelief.
Ashvik: "Yaar tum Ghar chalo Ruhi ne bulaya hai"
(Oh, come on. Letâs go home. Ruhiâs calling you.)
Akshavi couldnât help but giggle at Ashvikâs irritated expression, the sight of him facepalming bringing a lightness to the moment. Her laughter eased some of the tension, and Ashvikâs lips curved into a reluctant smile, grateful for the brief distraction. They both left together, heading toward the RM mansion, the weight of the situation momentarily lifted as they shared this small, comforting moment.
