(MKIB wipped ladies)
Later that night, Rudraksh had changed into a loose vest, a habit he had formed knowing that Ruhanika often loved slipping into his vest to sleep. But tonight was different. She was lying on her side, away from him, her back turned, and it was beginning to irritate him. For the past five minutes, she had been fidgeting with the hem of her night suit, her restlessness obvious. Unable to take it any longer, Rudraksh sighed in frustration. He shifted closer to her and, without a word, wrapped his strong arms around her waist, turned her and pulling her snugly against his chest. The warmth of his embrace seemed to dissolve the distance between them, and he let out a contented breath, finally finding comfort in having her close.
Rudraksh: "Kya hua hai Ruhh?? Aaj nahi Sona mere pass??"
(What happened, Ruhh? Arenât you sleeping next to me today?)
Ruhanika avoided his gaze, her head lowering slightly as a pout formed on her lips, her cheeks tinged with a soft shade of red. Her fingers found their way to his neck chain, fidgeting with it absentmindedly, a clear sign of her shyness. Rudraksh noticed her flustered state and, with a tender smile, gently cupped her face. His thumb softly caressed her warm cheeks.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh?? kya ho gaya mere betu ko??"
(Ruhh? What happened to my little one?)
Ruhanika: "hume aapke bina nind nahi aati hai."
(I canât sleep without you.)
Rudraksh: "Toh kon keh raha hai fir mere bina sone??"
(Then whoâs asking you to sleep without me?)
Ruhanika: "Hume aapke pass aane me sharam aa rahi hai na"
(I feel shy coming near you.)
Rudraksh: "Meri Ruhh mere pass aane me kab se sharmane lagi??"
(Since when did my Ruhh start feeling shy about coming to me?)
Rudraksh asked softly, his voice calm and reassuring, while his hand gently caressed her waist beneath her shirt, trying to help her relax.
Ruhanika: "Areh vo humne aapko vaise dekh liya na isiliye."
(I saw you in that way, and thatâs why.)
Rudraksh: "Kaise dekh liya Ruhh??"
(What way did you see me, Ruhh?)
Ruhanika pouted adorably and shot him a playful glare. Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction, finding it utterly endearing.
Rudraksh: "Ab kya kiya maine??"
(What did I do now?)
Ruhanika: "Pehle toh aap humari kamar sehla rahe hai hume rahat dene ke liye aur phir aise sawaal karke hume sata rahe hai."
(First, you were caressing my back to comfort me, and now you're asking such questions to tease me.)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, then wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer and settling her comfortably in his embrace.
Rudraksh: "Achcha baba sorry, ab batao kya ho gaya mere betu ko??"
(Alright, sorry! Now tell me, whatâs bothering my little one?)
Ruhanika continued to fidget with his chain, her fingers gently tracing it, before resting her chin on his chest, her eyes closing in contentment as she snuggled closer to him.
Ruhanika: "Ab toh humne aapko vaise dekha na, aur ye toh pati patni me aam hai na."
(I saw you like that, and isnât it normal between a husband and wife?)
Rudraksh: "Haa toh tum kyu sharma rahi ho??"
(Yes, so why are you feeling shy?)
Ruhanika: "Areh aap samajhte hi nahi kuch."
(You donât understand anything.)
Rudraksh was clearly confused, his brow furrowed in thought. He gently cupped her cheeks with one hand, his gaze soft as he asked.
Rudraksh: "kya hai tumhare man me Ruhh, araam se bolo main sun raha hu."
(Tell me clearly whatâs on your mind, Ruhh. Iâm listening.)
Ruhanika: "Ab jab ye agar aam hai humare beech toh phir aap bhi hume v...a..vaise dekhenge, yahi soch ke hume sharam aa rahi hai."
(If itâs normal between us, then you might look at me like that too. Thatâs whatâs making me shy.)
Rudraksh mentally facepalmed himself, shaking his head at her tendency to overthink even the smallest things. He couldn't help but smile at how she could get lost in her own thoughts, her mind racing over nothing. Gently, he guided her face up to meet his gaze. His eyes, usually so intense, were now soft and filled with affection just for her. He looked at her with a tenderness that made her heart flutter.
Rudraksh: "Mallika-e-Aksh meri baat dhyaan se suniyega okay??"
(My Queen Ruhh, listen to me carefully, okay?)
Ruhanika nodded quietly, her expression thoughtful, as she looked up at him.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, maine kaha tha na koi tumhari marzi ke khilaaf na toh tumhe koi chu sakta hai aur na hi dekh sakta hai"
(Ruhh, Iâve told you beforeâno one can touch or look at you against your will.)
Ruhanika: "Haa par aap toh pati hai humare, aur humne toh dekha na aapko."
(But youâre my husband, and I saw you, didnât I?)
Rudraksh: "Haa kyuki mujhe koi problem nahi hai agar meri biwi mujhe dekhe toh, haq hai tumhara vo Ruhh aur sirf tumhara hai."
(Yes, because I donât mind if my wife looks at me like that. Itâs your right, Ruhh, and only yours.)
Ruhanika: "Vahi toh usi tarah aap bhi toh pati hai humare toh aapka bhi haqq hua na."
(But in the same way, youâre my husband, so itâs your right too, isnât it?)
Rudraksh: "Nahi Ruhh, tumhara haq hai kyuki ye haq maine khud diya tumhe. Par tumhara jism sirf tumhara hai and trust me tumhari marzi ke khilaaf tumhe chuna toh dur ki baat hai main nazar utha ke dekhunga bhi nahi."
(No, Ruhh. Itâs your right because Iâve willingly given it to you. But your body belongs only to you, and trust me, I wonât even look at you without your consent, let alone touch you.)
Ruhanika felt a sense of ease wash over her, and a smile spread across her face. In a spontaneous moment of affection, she leaned in and kissed his cheek gently.
Ruhanika: "Aap itne achche kyu hai, humare sare sawalon ka jawab yun de dete hai."
(Why are you so good to me? You always answer all my questions so perfectly.)
Rudraksh chuckled warmly, his heart swelling with affection, before leaning in to kiss her forehead softly.
Rudraksh: "Toh kya ab main apne sukoon ke sath so sakta hu??"
(So, can I now sleep in peace with you by my side?)
Ruhanika blushed deeply, her heart fluttering as she realized he was referring to her as his solace. She lowered her eyes, a shy smile playing on her lips, and nodded.
Rudraksh: "Aur haa tum agar chaho toh main tumhe vaise bhi dekh sakta hu."
(And by the way, if you want, I can look at you that way.)
Ruhanika: "Chup kariye aap, na jane kya mazaa aata hai hume satane me."
(Be quiet! I donât know why you enjoy teasing me so much.)
Rudraksh: "Karke batau kya mazaa aata hai??"
(Should I show you exactly why I enjoy it?)
Rudraksh leaned in closer, his breath warm against her skin, and she blushed deeply, her heart racing. In a flustered motion, she quickly slipped inside his vest, burying her face in the comfort of his neck, hiding her shy smile. He chuckled softly at her adorable reaction, his arms tightening around her in a protective embrace. With a contented sigh, they both settled into the warmth of each other's presence, drifting off into a peaceful sleep together, the world outside forgotten.
In Ashvik and Akshavi's room,
The room was draped in a serene, almost ethereal atmosphere, the soft fragrance of roses filling the air as a few candles flickered gently, their flames casting shadows on the walls. The lights were completely off, and only the dim glow from the candles illuminated the space. Scattered clothes marked the trail of a passionate moment, and the soft murmurs of contentment echoed between the two bodies wrapped in sheets. Lost in each other's presence, they were at peace, their souls finally united in a way words could never describe. However, amidst the tranquility, a sudden sobbing sound broke through the stillness. Ashvik's heart skipped a beat, and a rush of panic coursed through him as he immediately looked up at Akshavi.
Ashvik: "Bachcha, I'm sorry I..I ..wait I'll just..."
Ashvik, began to move away but before he could fully move, Akshavi reached out and held him tightly. Surprised, Ashvik stopped and looked down, only to find Akshavi gently wrapping her arms around him. In a tender motion, Ashvik turned and rested on his back, and Akshavi rested her head against his chest, her body relaxing into his embrace as she found comfort in his warmth. Ashvik paused, his expression softening as he allowed her to stay, feeling a mix of affection and protectiveness for her in that quiet moment.
Ashvik: "Shavi??"
Akshavi: "Aap mujhse itna pyaar kyu karte hai Ashvik??"
(Why do you love me so much, Ashvik?)
Ashvik was so soft and gentle with Akshavi, his care and tenderness overwhelming her. She felt the depth of his love in every gesture, and it brought a rush of emotion that she couldn't hold back. Tears welled up in her eyes as she felt his unwavering affection. Noticing her tears, Ashvik smiled warmly and kissed her on the forehead, his touch soothing her. He knew that whenever she got too emotional, she would call him by his name, and it filled him with warmth. He cherished those moments, knowing they were a reflection of the special bond they shared.
Ashvik: "Mata Sita ko vanvaas bhejne ke baad, Shree Ram bhi toh chain se nahi reh paye the na?"
(Just like Lord Ram couldnât find peace after sending Goddess Sita into exile.)
Akshavi: "Matlab??"
(What do you mean?)
Ashvik: "Matlab meri jaan, tumhe 3 saal khud se Durr karta raha main apni insecurities ke chalte, par sukoon se toh main bhi nahi tha na, aur ab jab mera sukoon mere pass hai toh main kyu na pyaar karu use??"
( I mean, my love, I spent three years pushing you away because of my insecurities. But I wasnât at peace either, was I? And now that my peace is with me, why wouldnât I love her?)
Akshavi felt overwhelmed with emotion and hugged him tightly, tears streaming down her face. He gently rubbed her back, offering comfort, before placing a soft kiss on her forehead, trying to soothe her.
Ashvik: "Hadd hai yaar, tumhe Khushi me bhi rona hota hai?"
(Seriously, you feel like crying even in happiness?)
Akshavi: "Chup kariye aap, mujhe khushi manane dijiye meri."
(Be quiet and let me enjoy my happiness.)
He chuckled softly, his hand gently caressing her head, and soon she drifted off to sleep in his arms. A tender smile crossed his face as he gazed at her, and feeling content, he too fell asleep peacefully with her in his arms.
The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, the men gathered in Rishwik's home office. It was the weekend, so everyone was at home, enjoying the rare time together. The atmosphere in the office was serious as the men began discussing something important, their voices hushed but focused.
Meanwhile, outside in the lawn area, the women were enjoying their own time, chatting, laughing, and relaxing in the sun. They shared stories and moments of peace, while the men were deep in conversation, their minds focused on matters that needed attention. The contrast between the lively energy outside and the quiet determination inside was palpable, as both groups relished their weekend in their own ways.
Rudraksh: "Kar liya hack uska system??"
(Have you hacked his system?)
Rishwik: "The best hacker Rishwik the great Malhotra se bach ke jaata bhi kaha vo, huhh mujhse panga aaya bada."
(The best hacker, Rishwik The Great Malhotra, doesnât let anyone escape! Hah, he messed with the wrong guy.)
Everyone rolled their eyes at Rishwik's self-obsession, clearly amused by his antics. Karanjeet, unable to resist, gave Rishwik a light slap on the back, shaking his head.
Karanjeet: "Chal bata ab."
(Come on, spill the details now.)
Rishwik pouted, clearly about to argue, but before he could say anything, Rudraksh shot him a sharp glare. The intensity of his look made Rishwik pause, and with a resigned sigh, he shut his mouth, deciding it was best not to argue further. Without a word, Rishwik turned to his laptop, typing quickly. A few moments later, he turned the screen towards everyone, revealing whatever he had been working on. The others leaned in, their curiosity piqued as they focused on the information now displayed before them.
Rishwik: "Bhai, the person who called Vijaypratap is currently in Mexico. According to my data, Vijaypratap is supposed to receive money tonight. The number was private, so I couldnât get his name. But heâs been using that number for the past 17-18 years, and surprisingly, in all those years, Vijaypratap only called him four times."
Ashvik: "What?! Just four times in 17 years?"
Rudraksh: "17 years... Thatâs since Ruhh was with him."
Kartavya: "This means whoever was involved in what happened to Ashvik and little sunshineâs parents was connected to Vijaypratap."
Ashvik clenched his fist in anger, his frustration palpable. But before he could react, Rudraksh gently held his fist.
Rudraksh: "Thereâs something else odd worth noting."
Karanjeet: "What?"
Rudraksh: "When I pulled Ruhh out of that car, she said sheâd been unconscious for two days. Even Ashvik regained consciousness after two days, and I was unconscious for two days too. This canât be a coincidence."
They all nodded in agreement.
Amandeep: "Has that person been in Mexico for all 18 years?"
Rishwik: "No, heâs been in Mexico for the past five years. Before that, he moved between the U.S., Europe, and other countries every two years."
Kartavya: "Rishi, dig deeper into his whereaboutsâwhat he was doing all these years and even before."
Rishwik nodded with determination.
Rudraksh: "Aman."
Amandeep: "Iâll leave for Mexico tomorrow."
Amandeep was about to leave, but Rudraksh stopped him by placing a firm hand on his shoulder.
Rudraksh: "Aman, Avyu se mil ke jaana."
(Aman, meet Avyu before you go.)
Amandeep smiled and blinked his eyes.
Amandeep: "Ji bhai."
(Yes, Bro)
Amandeep left from there, and just as he left, they heard Ruhanika's voice echoing from the living room, drawing their attention.
Ruhanika: "Daduuuuuuuuuuu, jaldi aiye, Varna hum nahi khelenge aapke sath."
(Grandpa! Hurry up, or I wonât play with you anymore.)
They all chuckled softly, sharing a moment of amusement at the sound of Ruhanika's voice.
Karanjeet: "Chalo bhai, main jaata hu Varna meri khair nahi aaj."
(Alright, alright, Iâm coming! Otherwise, Iâll be doomed today.)
Rishwik: "Haa chalo chalo, aaj aapko Angel ke samne bataunga, mazaa aayega."
(Oh, this is going to be fun! Today, Iâll tease you in front of Angel.)
Karanjeet shot a stern glare at Rishwik, who immediately felt the weight of it. Without a second thought, Rishwik dashed out of the room. Karanjeet, not one to let things slide, quickly followed him, a determined look on his face. Kartavya, amused by the playful chaos unfolding before him, couldn't help but chuckle at their antics. Shaking his head with a smile, he decided to leave the office and stepped out, heading towards the living room. Ashvik, also began to make his way towards the door as well, but Rudraksh's voice stopped him.
Rudraksh: "Mr. Ashvik Rajpurohit "
Ashvik: "Yes Mr. Rudraksh Malhotra "
Rudraksh moved towards Ashvik and stood directly in front of him.
Rudraksh: "Kamre se bahar nikalte waqt ek baar mirror dekh liya kijiye Sir."
(Check yourself in the mirror before leaving your room, sir.)
Rudraksh flashed a mischievous smirk as he casually closed the second button of Ashvik's shirt. The playful gesture didn't go unnoticed, and Ashvik quickly understood the meaning behind it. His cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and he turned his face away, trying to hide his blush. Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle at Ashvik's reaction, enjoying the sight of his friend's discomfort.
Rudraksh: "Nothing to be embarrassed about, but be careful, bro. You have a younger sister. Ruhh dekh leti na toh jaan kha jati Teri."
(If Ruhh had seen you, she wouldâve given you an earful.)
Ashvik: "Ahh vo, I guess teddy bula rahi hai."
(Uh... I think Teddy is calling me.)
Ashvik, unable to bear the playful teasing, swiftly ran away from the scene, leaving Rudraksh to chuckle at his antics. Eventually, everyone gathered in the living room, where the warmth of family time enveloped the space.
Ruhanika stood with her hands firmly placed on her waist, glaring at Karanjeet, who was seated like a frightened puppy, clearly intimidated by her stern gaze. Meanwhile, Rishwik and Amandeep sat together with a bowl of popcorn, thoroughly enjoying the amusing spectacle playing out before them. In another corner of the room, Kartavya sat with Savisha, gently feeding her pieces of fruit while tenderly massaging her head, his gestures filled with affection and care.
Ashvik found a spot beside Akshavi, and as soon as their eyes met, a blush spread across her cheeks, making her look even more adorable. Ashvik, equally flustered, returned her gaze with a shy smile. Without hesitation, Akshavi wrapped her arms around him, drawing him into a warm embrace, and he willingly pulled her closer, their connection deepening in the quiet intimacy of the moment. Rudraksh, amused by the entire scene, sat next to Rishwik and casually grabbed some popcorn, still chuckling at the sight of Karanjeet, who was clearly a nervous wreck in front of Ruhanika.
Karanjeet: "Ruhi puttar"
(Ruhi, dear)
Ruhanika: "Shhhhhh, baat mat kijiye hum saza soch rahe hai aapke liye."
(Shhh! Donât talk to me. Iâm deciding your punishment.)
Rudraksh: "Saza kyu Ruhh??"
(Why punishment, Ruhh?)
Ruhanika: "Dadu ki health report subah hi aayi hai Aksh, ye pre diabetic hai aap jante hai, aur toh aur iske baad bhi inhone humari ice cream khayi."
(Grandpaâs health report came in this morning. Heâs pre-diabetic! And even then, he ate my ice cream.)
Karanjeet: "Puttar ye Rudraksh aur ice cream le aayega na tere liye."
(Rudraksh, bring her more ice cream.)
Ruhanika: "Daduu shhhh, hume saza sochne dijiye. "
(Grandpa, shhh! Let me think of your punishment.)
Karanjeet: "Khotyon, apni apni biwi ko chodo aur mujhe bachao."
(Hey kids, leave your wives and help me out here!)
Rudraksh: "harkatein aapki saza milne layak hi hai Dadu."
(Grandpa, your actions deserve punishment.)
Karanjeet: "Chup kar nalayak, aag me ghee daal raha hai."
(Quiet, you scoundrel! Youâre adding fuel to the fire.)
Ruhanika: "Daduuuuu, humare inhe aap aise nahi boliye, ab dugni saza denge hum bata rahe hai."
(Grandpa, donât call him that. Now, Iâll double your punishment!)
Rudraksh: "Hayy mera pyara betu."
(Oh, my sweet little one.)
Rudraksh rotated his hands around Ruhanika to ward of evil eye, she grinned in delight. But suddenly, she shouted.
Ruhanika: "haaaaaa."
(Yes)
Her shout immediately gained everyone's attention, and all eyes turned toward her, curious about what had caused the sudden reaction.
Karanjeet: "Ki Hoya puttar"
(What happened, dear?)
Ruhanika: "Ab se aap vahi sab kadve juice piyenge jo bhai sa aur ye pite hai subah subah."
(From now on, youâll drink the same bitter juice that Rudraksh and Brother drink every morning!)
Karanjeet's eyes widened in surprise, clearly taken aback.
Ruhanika: "Aur meethe me aapko kuch nahi milega."
(And no sweets for you anymore.)
Karanjeet: "Aisa na kari puttar nahi main nahi piunga."
(Please donât do this, dear. I canât drink that.)
Ruhanika: "Hum puch nahi rahe hai dadu, bata rahe hai aapko, hum khud bana ke denge aapko."
(Iâm not asking, Grandpa. Iâm telling you. Iâll make it for you myself!)
Karanjeet pouted, clearly a bit upset, but it didn't seem to affect Ruhanika. She simply sat down beside Rudraksh, wrapped her arm around his biceps, and looked at him with a calm expression, her gaze soft and affectionate.
Ruhanika: "Humne thik kaha na Aksh??"
(Right, Aksh?)
Rudraksh: "Meri Jaan-e-aksh kabhi galt hoti hi nahi."
(My Queen Ruhh is never wrong!)
Ruhanika grinned, enjoying the moment. As the atmosphere lightened, the family began chatting and teasing each other, laughter filling the room as they shared playful banter.
In Kritika's room,
Kritika lay on the bed, her stomach resting on the soft surface, a smile spreading across her face as she gazed at Aakarsh's photo. Her cheeks flushed a soft pink as she gently caressed the picture, her fingers tracing the image with affection.
Kritika: "ye kya kar diya tumne Arsh, main toh jaise pagal ho gayi hu kal ke baad se."
(What have you done, Arsh? I feel like Iâve gone crazy since yesterday.)
Kritika closed her eyes, her cheeks still warm with shyness, as her mind wandered back to yesterday's amusement park date. The memories of the fun, laughter, and shared moments brought a soft smile to her lips, and she couldn't help but relive the joy of it all.
Flashback,
Kritika and Aakarsh were at the amusement park, and despite her initial reluctance and numerous refusals, Kritika found herself genuinely enjoying the day. As they walked around, she spotted the giant wheel ride in the distance and, with a spark of excitement in her eyes, turned to Aakarsh and asked.
Kritika: "Chalo Arsh uspe chalte hai, mazaa aayega."
(Come on, Arsh, letâs go on that rideâitâll be fun.)
Aakarsh: "nahi mujhe height se darr lagta hai, main nahi aa raha."
(No, Iâm scared of heights; Iâm not coming.)
Kritika: "Ladkiyo ki tarah un bekaar ghodo pe hi baitho tum, main uspe jaungi."
(Then stay like a scared girl on those useless horses. Iâm going on the ride.)
Aakarsh: "Pari yaar mujhe sach me problem hone lagti hai meethiye main nahi aa paunga."
(Pari, seriously, I have a genuine problem. I really canât do this.)
Aakarsh genuinely spoke, and Kritikaâs eyes softened.
Kritika: "Achcha koi baat nahi, hum kisi aur pe jaate hai."
(Okay, no problem. Letâs go on something else.)
Kritika smiled and gently grabbed Aakarsh's biceps, her gaze drawn to the giant wheel in the distance. She couldn't help but feel a longing to ride it. Aakarsh noticed her expression and smiled, tenderly caressing her hand as he followed her gaze.
Aakarsh: "Chalo chalte hai."
(Letâs go then.)
Kritika: "Nahi nahi, main nahi chahti ki tumhe kuch ho"
(No, no. I donât want you to suffer.)
Aakarsh: "Kyu?"
(Why?)
Kritika: "Kyuki tum bahaut imp.."
(Because you are very impâ)
Kritika stopped and looked at Aakarsh, noticing the playful smirk on his face. Without thinking, she punched him lightly on the stomach, and he let out a chuckle, clearly amused by her reaction.
Aakarsh: "Ouuchhhh"
Kritika: "chup Karo tum, main akele jaake aaungi, tab tak yahi mera wait karna samjhe??"
(Shut up. Iâll go alone and be back soon. You wait for me here, okay?)
Kritika flashed her fingers at Aakarsh to threaten him. Aakarsh, amused by her threat placed his hand on his forehead in a playful salute, acknowledging her wish.
Aakarsh: "Aye aye captain."
Kritika: "ab mera bag pakdo."
(Now hold my bag.)
Kritika, with a playful glint in her eyes, hung her sling bag around Aakarsh's neck, her fingers brushing against him as she did so. He smiled at the gesture, taking the bag with a gentle nod. Without a second thought, Kritika handed him her phone, her excitement contagious as she ran toward the giant wheel ride. Aakarsh, watching her enthusiasm, chuckled softly, his heart swelling with affection as he admired her free spirit.
As Kritika boarded the ride, she waved enthusiastically at him from up high, her face glowing with the thrill of the moment. Aakarsh, still amused by her infectious joy, raised the phone and clicked a few pictures of her, capturing her beaming smile and the excitement on her face.
The ride eventually came to a halt, and Aakarsh stood waiting eagerly for her to come down. Minutes passed, but Kritika didn't emerge. His anticipation began to turn into concern as he watched the ride's second batch start, but still, no sign of her. His heart skipped a beat. He quickly made his way to the ride, searching the area around it, but she was nowhere to be seen. Panic crept into his chest as he scanned the crowd, feeling his pulse quicken. The throngs of people around him made it nearly impossible to see clearly. His palms began to sweat, and a knot formed in his stomach as the minutes dragged on.
Aakarsh's mind raced, his thoughts spiraling with worry. He started moving faster, pushing through the crowd with urgency, calling her name in the hopes of hearing her voice. Each passing second felt like an eternity as the fear of not finding her settled deep in his bones. His legs moved on autopilot, rushing from one corner of the fairground to the other, scanning every face, every corner, and every stall. His heart thudded loudly in his chest as his mind swirled with worse-case scenarios.
After what felt like an age, Aakarshâs eyes caught sight of her near a food stall, sitting on a bench. His breath caught in his throat, and without thinking twice, he dashed towards her. As he reached her, he didnât hesitateâhe pulled her into his arms with such urgency, lifting her off the ground in a tight embrace.
Kritika, taken by surprise, froze for a moment, but as soon as she felt the familiar warmth of his touch, she relaxed. The tension left her body as she hugged him back, her arms wrapping around him in a soothing embrace. But as they stood there, holding each other, she felt something strange. A cool wetness against her neck.
She pulled back slightly, her eyes widening as she looked at him. His face was pale, beads of sweat dotted his forehead, and his chest rose and fell rapidly with each breath. It was then that she realized the source of the moistureâhis tears. The concern in his eyes was unmistakable, and the sight of him so visibly shaken made her heart soften.
Kritika: "Arshhh??"
Aakarsh hugged Kritika tightly, not wanting to let go. Kritika, sensing the intensity of the moment, gently patted his back. After a moment, he reluctantly placed her down, pulling back and quickly averting his gaze to hide the tears that threatened to fall. His emotions ran deep, and he didn't want her to see how much it all affected him.
Kritika: "Arsh kya hua, main yahi hu"
(Arsh, what happened? Iâm right here.)
Aakarsh: "aadhe ghante se na jaane kaha kaha dundh raha hu tumhe, kaha chali gayi thi pata bhi hai kitna Darr gya tha main."
(Iâve been looking for you everywhere for the past half an hour. Do you have any idea how scared I was? Where did you go?)
Kritika: "Relax, vo bas crowd itna tha ki samajh nahi aaya, thik hu main isme itna darne ki kya baat hai."
(Relax. It was just so crowded that I lost my way. Iâm fine. Why are you so worried?)
Aakarsh: "What nonsense yaar Kritika"
Kritika's eyes widened in surprise, as this was the first time Aakarsh had ever called her by her name. The sincerity in his voice made her realize just how deeply concerned and worried he truly was. Her heart softened, and she could see the vulnerability in him, something he rarely showed.
Aakarsh: "Samajhti kya ho tum khud ko, jhasi ki rani ho har cheez ko itna lightly leti ho, ab ek hi ho tum mere pass, aur tumhe bhi kho du kya main??"
(What do you think of yourself? Are you Jhansi ki Rani? You take everything so lightly. I have only you. Do you want me to lose you too?)
Kritika: "Listen Ar..."
Aakarsh: "You listen, band karo ye tumhara khud ko lekar carelessness, Varna jitna main tumse pyaar karta hu na utni hi daant bhi laga sakta hu."
(No, you listen. Stop being so careless about yourself. Otherwise, as much as I love you, I can also scold you just as much.)
Kritika was now truly shocked, as she realized that, in his own way, Aakarsh had indirectly confessed his love. The words he spoke, laced with concern and tenderness, revealed feelings she hadnât expected. Her heart raced as the truth settled inâAakarsh, the usually playful and teasing guy, had just opened up to her in a way that took her completely by surprise.
Aakarsh: "Main kuch kehta nahi hu toh mere pyaar ka galat fayda mat uthao tum, mana main hu tumhara khayal rakhne ke liye meethiye, par iska matlab ye nahi ki aap aise careless behave kare."
(Just because I donât say anything doesnât mean you should take advantage of my love. Iâm here to take care of you, Meethiye, but that doesnât mean you can behave so recklessly.)
Aakarsh gently cupped her face, his thumb softly caressing her cheeks.
Aakarsh: "Khayal rakha karo na Pari."
(Take care of yourself, Pari.)
Aakarsh's voice was filled with such raw vulnerability that it struck a chord deep within Kritika. His words, laced with sincerity and emotion, made her heart soften. The closeness between them seemed to intensify, and as his words lingered in the air, Kritika felt her cheeks flush a delicate shade of pink.
Aakarsh: "Chalo ab yaha se koi zarurat nahi itni bekaar jagah rukne ki, mujhse meri pari ko ghuma diya is manhus jagah ne."
(Now letâs get out of here. Thereâs no need to stay in this stupid place that ruined my mood.)
Aakarsh held her hand and started moving but he noticed Kritikaâs sudden pause, her head lowered and her lips forming a small pout. He stopped and turned back to face her, a curious look crossing his face.
Aakarsh: "Meethiye kya hua??"
(Meethiye, what happened?)
Kritika: "Bhook lagi, tumhari daant se pet nahi bhara hai. "
(Iâm hungry. Your scolding didnât fill my stomach.)
Aakarsh: "Zyada tane dene ki zarurat nahi hai, restaurant hi ja rahe hai hum."
(Stop being sarcastic. Weâre going to a restaurant.)
Kritika: "mujhe abhi khana hai"
(I want food now.)
Aakarsh: "Meethiye yaha itna hygienic nahi hai, chalo na pass me hi restaurant hai."
(Meethiye, the food here isnât hygienic. Thereâs a restaurant nearby. Letâs go there.)
Kritika: "Tum khila rahe ho ya main vapas bhaag jau??"
(Are you feeding me, or should I run off again?)
Aakarsh sighed with a playful shake of his head and started walking towards the pani puri stall.
Aakarsh: "Ziddi mujhe kehti hai par khud ko dekho zara"
(You call me stubborn, but look at yourself.)
Kritika: "Suna maine"
(I heard that.)
Aakarsh: "Sunane ke liye hi kaha"
(I said it for you to hear.)
Kritika couldnât help but smile as she looked at Aakarsh. His angry, pink nose and irritated expression made him look incredibly cute to her. She chuckled softly, admiring how even in moments of frustration, he had a charm that made her heart flutter.
Later, when they reached the pani puri vendor, Aakarshâs concern for her was evident. He immediately asked the vendor to wear gloves before serving Kritika. She smiled at his gesture, touched by how much he cared. The evening flowed effortlessly from there, with the two of them laughing, sharing bites of pani puri, and enjoying each other's company. The air was filled with lighthearted banter and comfortable silence, the kind that only comes when two people are completely at ease with each other. It was one of those moments that felt simple but incredibly special.
Flashback ends.
Kritika was still smiling, her thoughts drifting back to yesterday's incident. The memory of the playful moments and Aakarsh's reactions warmed her heart, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness whenever she recalled it.
Kritika: "bahaut jaldi hi main bhi keh du gi tumhe ki main bhi..."
(Very soon, Iâll also tell you that I too...)
Kritika couldn't complete her sentence, her words getting lost as she hid her face in the pillow, overwhelmed with shyness. She rolled onto her bed, pulling the duvet over herself, her cheeks burning with a deep blush as she tried to hide her flustered expression.
In a park,
Avyukta sat peacefully on the soft grass near a tree, surrounded by flowers that were scattered around her, adding a serene touch to the moment. Amandeep lay next to her, his head resting gently in her lap. She absentmindedly ran her fingers through his hair, her touch tender and soothing. The calmness of the moment, the soft breeze, and the comfort of each other's presence made everything feel perfect.
Avyukta: "Kab tak aayenge aap?"
(When will you come?)
Amandeep gently held her hand, his fingers tender against hers, and softly kissed her palm.
Amandeep: "Jaldi hi tumhare pass aa jaunga yuku, tum toh janti hi ho sab."
(Iâll come to you soon, Yuku. You already know everything.)
Avyukta: "Haan par mujhe aapki yaad aayegi na."
(Yes, but Iâll miss you.)
Amandeep smiled warmly, his gaze soft as he started gently playing with her fingers.
Amandeep: "Mujhe bhi jaaniye mujhe bhi, but ye bhi toh socho jitni jaldi ye sab khatam hoga, utni jaldi humari shadi."
(Iâll miss you too, sweetheart. But think about this: the sooner all this is done, the sooner weâll get married.)
Avyukta blushed deeply, her cheeks turning a shade of pink as she averted her gaze, feeling the warmth of the moment. Amandeep, noticing her shyness, sat beside her and gently pulled her into his embrace, holding her close as he reassured her with his comforting presence.
Amandeep: "Is my Yuku blushing?"
Avyukta playfully nudged his stomach, a shy grin tugging at her lips as she leaned into him, teasing him lightly.
Avyukta: "main nahi sharmati, kuch bhi mat bolo aap."
(I donât blush! Donât say anything like that.)
Amandeep gently pulled her between his legs, wrapping his arms around her with a sense of tenderness. He placed his chin on her shoulder, his breath warm against her skin, and his hand rested softly on her stomach, offering both comfort and affection in the intimate moment.
Amandeep: "vo jungle wale incident ke baad vo kon tha jisne meri aakhon me nahi dekha tha??"
(Oh really? After that jungle incident, who was the one who couldnât look into my eyes?)
Avyukta: "Ha toh vo first time tha na deep, aisa hota hai main ladki hu na, aap mujhe tease nahi kar sakte."
(That was the first time, Deep! It happens, okay? Iâm a girl, after all. You canât tease me.)
Amandeep: "Ye kya logic hai."
(What kind of logic is this?)
Avyukta: "Ye aapki yuku ka logic hai, bolo nahi manoge??"
(Itâs Yukuâs logic. Now say, will you agree or not?)
Amandeep: "Aisa gunaah kaise kar sakta hu main boss."
(How could I commit such a sin, boss?)
Avyukta: "Very good assistant."
Amandeep: "Achcha jiii."
(Oh really?)
Amandeep couldn't resist and started tickling her, his fingers lightly grazing over her sides. Avyukta began wiggling in his arms, laughter spilling from her as she squirmed, trying to escape his playful teasing, but only to be held tighter by him.
Avyukta: "Deep nahi karo Varna main gussa ho jaungi."
(Deep, stop it, or Iâll get angry.)
Amandeep paused for a moment, his heart full of affection, and gently kissed her cheek. Then, with a playful smile, he turned her around and placed her on his lap, his lips finding her face as he showered her with sweet, loving kisses. She giggled at the sudden affection, the warmth of his love making her heart race, and in that moment, she wrapped her arms around him tightly, holding him close as if she never wanted to let go.
Amandeep: "Yukuu?"
Avyukta: "I'll miss you."
Amandeep smiled warmly, his heart full of affection, and placed a gentle kiss on her head. He held her close, savoring the moment as she relaxed in his embrace.
Amandeep: "Jaldi hi aa jaunga promise."
(Iâll come back soon. Promise.)
She tighten her grip on him. Feeling her tighten her grip on him, Amandeep realized he needed to distract her mind.
Amandeep: "Achcha tumhare liye kya lau??"
(Tell me, what should I bring for you?)
Avyukta looked at Amandeep with shining eyes, her expression filled with excitement and affection. Amandeep chuckled softly to himself, knowing that he had successfully diverted her mind. As her thoughts shifted, she immediately started listing the things she wanted from Mexico, her voice filled with enthusiasm. He listened attentively, a smile playing on his lips, enjoying the moment of her happiness.
At RM Empires,
The Malhotras had recently launched their new designs, and it had been an overwhelming success. Their latest venture was doing exceptionally well, with customers praising the creativity and elegance of the collection. However, a recent bulk order placed by a customer had run into some technical issues on the website, and Rishwik had to step in to resolve the matter. Rishwik had been on his way to meet Riyanshi at a cafe, but due to the urgency of the issue, he decided to head to the office instead. Riyanshi, not wanting to miss the opportunity to catch up with him, followed Rishwik to the office.
Riyanshi sat on the sofa with her legs folded beneath her and her arms crossed, a pout on her lips. Her expression was one of playful frustration as she recalled how Rishwik had refused her request for a piggyback ride. Instead of lifting her up in the way she had imagined, he had simply picked her up and tossed her onto the couch. She couldn't help but feel a little annoyed, especially since she had been eagerly hoping for some fun, but the gesture only made her more determined to get what she wanted. Rishwik, on the other hand, was fully immersed in his laptop, typing away furiously and troubleshooting the technical issues at the office. He knew this was an urgent matter, and the pressure to resolve it was evident in his focused demeanor. The fact that he hadnât even looked up from his screen was making Riyanshi more and more impatient. Though Riyanshi had been quiet, sitting on the couch, her mind was running wild with playful plans.
Lately, they hadn't been able to spend much time together, as Riyanshi was busy finishing her last semester before joining the office, while Rishwik was caught up in his work. he couldn't help but feel frustrated, especially as she watched him focus intently on his laptop, the urgency of his work evident. She sat quietly, her mind scheming for a way to get back at him for his playful dismissal. Despite her frustration, she knew he was working hard, but that didn't stop her from plotting a little revenge in her head.
Rishwik: "Zyada dimaag mat daudao tum, vaise hi kum hai"
(Don't overthink, you already have less of it.)
Rishwik was typing away on his laptop, his eyes focused on the screen, yet he could still sense the storm brewing in Riyanshi's mind. He knew her well enough to pick up on her emotions, even without a single word. Riyanshi, clearly irritated, turned her back to him, her posture stiff with anger, though she didn't say anything.
Riyanshi: "Samajhta kya hai khudko, jab dekho fek deta hai, ab jab tak maafi nahi mangega main bhi naraz rahungi phir piggy back ride deni hi padegi, heehee"
(What does he think of himself? Always messing things up. Until he apologizes, I'll stay mad at him. Then he'll have to give me a piggyback ride. Heehee.)
She murmured softly, a giggle escaping her lips as she got lost in her own thoughts. Rishwik, who knew her better than anyone, could easily guess what was going through her mind. A knowing smile spread across his face, and he shook his head fondly, amused by her playful nature.
Rishwik: "Kabhi kabhi toh Angel bhi isse zyada mature lagti hai, kis bachche se pyaar kar liya maine... Khair bachcha bhi toh mera hi hai."
(Sometimes, even Angel seems more mature than her. What kind of child have I fallen in love with? Well, she's my child after all.)
Rishwik smiled to himself, and continued with his work. Nearly an hour passed, and as he finished, he glanced over at Riyanshi. To his surprise, she was still on the sofa, unmoved, lost in her own world. Her stillness made him wonder what was occupying her thoughts.
Rishwik: "Ye ladki itni der tak shanti se baithi kaise hai??"
(How is this girl sitting quietly for so long?)
Rishwik stood up and walked over to her, his eyes softening as he looked at her sleeping form. He sighed and shook his head, amused yet affectionate.
Rishwik: "Kahi bhi so Jane ka ajeeb talent hai is ladki me."
(She has this strange talent of sleeping anywhere.)
Rishwik kneeled down beside the couch, placing his elbows on the armrest. Resting his face in his palm, he stared at Riyanshi with admiration. A gentle smile tugged at his lips as he took in the peaceful expression on her face, her features relaxed in sleep. In that moment, everything felt right, and he couldnât help but feel grateful for having her in his life.
Rishwik: "Tum kaise mil gayi mujhe?? Vaise toh main janta hu tum mujhe judge nahi karoge lekin tumhe sach batana farz hai mera aur haq hai tumhara, isiliye jaldi hi tumhe apne bare me sab bata dunga."
(How did I even get you? Well, I know you won't judge me, but I feel it's my duty to tell you the truth about myself. It's your right to know, so I'll tell you everything about me very soon.)
Rishwik gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, his touch tender and caring. He stood up and leaned down to place a soft kiss on her forehead, watching as a small smile played on her lips in her sleep. His heart warmed at the sight. Chuckling softly, he lightly shook her shoulder.
Rishwik: "Heeriye, utho chalo ab chalte hai tumhare cafe."
(Heeriye, wake up. Let's go to your café now.)
Rishwik noticed that Riyanshi stirred but didnât wake up despite his gentle shake. A mischievous glint sparked in his eyes as his playful side took over. Smirking to himself, he quietly leaned in closer, an idea forming in his mind.
Rishwik: "Sorry darling, par tumhe tang karne me mazaa bahaut aata hai.""
(Sorry, darling, but I really enjoy teasing you.)
Rishwik carefully lifted Riyanshi into his arms, her soft breathing and warmth comforting him. As he adjusted her in his embrace, she instinctively snuggled closer to his neck, a peaceful expression on her face. His heart swelled with affection as he looked down at her, his eyes full of love and tenderness. Unable to resist, he gently pressed a soft kiss to her cheek.
Rishwik: "Sorry darling."
Rishwik playfully tossed Riyanshi back onto the couch, catching her off guard. Startled, she jolted awake with a surprised gasp, her eyes wide as she quickly sat up.
Riyanshi: "Bachao bachao."
(Help! Help!)
Riyanshi glared at Rishwik, her frustration clear as she stood on the couch, her tiny fists landing harmlessly on his chest. Rishwik burst into laughter at her attempts, finding her punches endearing but ineffective. Riyanshi huffed in annoyance, her pout deepening as she crossed her arms, and Rishwik smirked, clearly enjoying the playful exchange.
Rishwik: "Ho Gaya??"
(Are you done?)
Riyanshi: "Zyada na apne maal figure pe ghamand mat karo, nachna tumhe meri ungli ke isharo pe hi hai."
(Don't be too proud of your precious physique. In the end, you'll be dancing to my tune.)
Rishwik: "Aur tumhe bhi aana meri baahon me hi hai."
(And you'll end up in my arms anyway.)
Riyanshi's cheeks flushed bright red at Rishwik's playful wink. She turned her face away, trying to hide her blush, but Rishwik only grinned wider at her reaction.
Riyanshi: "Toh leke chalo na, aur phir Chikni Chameli ka dance bhi karke dikhana."
(Then take me there, and also perform Chikni Chameli's dance.)
Rishwik: "Shut uppp."
Riyanshi giggled playfully and extended her hand toward Rishwik, a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. Rishwik couldn't help but chuckle at her antics. Without hesitation, he turned around and lifted her onto his back, pretending to throw her off. Riyanshi immediately tightened her grip around his neck, and he chuckled.
Riyanshi: "Rishi ke bachcheeeee"
(Rishi's child!)
Rishwik: "Abhi nahi shadi ke baad, pakka"
(Not now, but after marriage for sure.)
Riyanshi: "Youuuuuuu"
Riyanshi, with a mischievous grin, playfully bit him on his neck, her teeth grazing his skin in a teasing gesture.
Rishwik: "Ahhh, aye pagal ladki, bhabhs ya Angel ne dekh liya na galti se bhi toh khair nahi meri."
(Ahhh, hey crazy girl, if Bhabhs or Angel even accidentally see us, I'm done for.)
Riyanshi: "Achcha ye baat, tab toh ruko."
(Oh, is that so? Then wait and watch.)
Riyanshi, with a playful glint in her eyes, bit him on his cheek this time, causing both of them to burst into giggles. Rishwik, unable to contain his amusement, shook his head with a smile, his love for her shining through in the laughter they shared. Without missing a beat, he scooped her up and took her to her favorite cozy cafe, where they could enjoy the warmth of each other's company, savoring the simple joys of the day in their little haven.
At RM Mansion,
Ruhanika quietly walked to her room and peeked inside, noticing that Rudraksh was deeply engrossed in his work, his attention fixed on the laptop. A pout formed on her lips as she lowered her head, feeling a little disappointed. She slowly began to turn away, planning to leave quietly, but just as she was about to step out, she heard Rudraksh's voice calling her, making her pause mid-step.
Rudraksh: "Hun main tennu kinni vari dasya Sohneyo, main tumhare liye kabhi busy nahi hu meri jaan."
(How many times do I have to tell you, Sohneyo? Iâm never too busy for you, my love.)
Ruhanika's face immediately lit up with a wide grin as soon as she heard Rudraksh call her. Without wasting a second, she quickly ran inside the room, jumped onto the bed beside him, and playfully sat next to him. She grabbed his biceps and nestled her head on his shoulder, finding comfort in his presence. Rudraksh smiled at her affectionate gesture, kissed the top of her head tenderly, and then went back to his work, the moment of closeness adding warmth to his focused demeanor.
Rudraksh: "Ki hoya mere bugge nu??"
(What happened to my little bug?)
Ruhanika blushed, her cheeks tinged with pink as she looked at him, her eyes sparkling with warmth. A smile spread across her face, revealing her cute dimples, adding to the charm of the moment.
Ruhanika: "Aapne ye jo naya shuru kiya hai hume bugga kehna, aur aap ye jo humara nanhe baby ki tarah khayal rakhte hai, hume pasand bhi hai aur hum thode se sharma bhi jaate hai."
(This new habit of yours, calling me bug, and the way you care for me like a little babyâI like it, but it also makes me a little shy.)
Rudraksh gazed at her with a playful smile, gently poking her dimples with his finger before tenderly rubbing his nose against hers, a lighthearted gesture that made her blush.
Rudraksh: "Kyuki aap hai na mera nanha sa betu, meri jaan."
(Because you are my tiny little baby, my love.)
Ruhanika shyly smiled, her cheeks tinged with a soft blush, as she leaned in and gently rested her head on his shoulder. Rudraksh, despite being engrossed in his work, couldn't help but glance at her every now and then. She was intently playing with the veins of his hand, tracing them delicately with her fingers. Her focus was entirely on him, and it amused him. Shaking his head with a soft chuckle, he smiled to himself, feeling both touched and slightly amused by her endearing obsession with his hand. Her small gestures always seemed to bring a warmth to his heart, making even the most mundane moments feel special.
Ruhanika: "Ye kya hai??"
(What is this?)
Rudraksh: "Nothing, just company ke accounts check kar raha tha, finance team se expenses ki mails."
(Nothing, I was just reviewing the companyâs accounts and emails from the finance team about expenses.)
Ruhanika: "But why have they allocated more budget to the marketing team than to the production team? If the production team gets more budget, the product will have better quality, and then the marketing team wonât need to promote it so much. Besides, your company is already a leading, trusted brand."
Rudraksh couldn't help but feel a surge of pride as he watched her. In the past few months, her growth had been nothing short of remarkable. The way she had grasped new concepts and understood the intricacies of business left him in awe. Her sharp mind and dedication to learning had exceeded all his expectations, and he couldn't be prouder of her progress.
Rudraksh: "Firstly, itâs our company, not just mine."
Ruhanika looked at him and smiled, her eyes reflecting the warmth of his words.
Rudraksh: "And secondly, yes, youâre right, betu. Iâve already addressed this issue and just received an updated mail with the correct financial and budget report. They admitted it was a mistake on their part."
Ruhanika: "Achcha, phir thik hai."
(Oh, then thatâs fine.)
Ruhanika smiled contentedly, resting against Rudraksh as he replied to an email. She stayed clinging to him, her presence bringing a sense of peace. Slowly, her fingers traced along his Adam's apple, a soft and playful touch that caught him off guard. Rudraksh shut his eyes at the sensation, the touch making him feel a wave of warmth. Despite the momentary distraction, he never stopped her. He knew her touch, and more importantly, he knew it was her right to be this close, to feel this comfortable with him.
Rudraksh: "Kya chahiye aapko Mallika-e-Aksh??"
(What does my Queen of Aksh want?)
Ruhanika: "Suniye na hum aur aap bahar chale kya, hume pani puri khani hai."
(Listen, can we go out? I feel like eating pani puri.)
Rudraksh placed his laptop aside and gently pulled her between his legs, wrapping his arms around her. He rested his chin on her shoulder, breathing in the comfort of her presence.
Rudraksh: "Toh isme itni nautanki ki kya zaroorat thi jaana, aise hi keh deti."
(Why the drama, jaana? You couldâve just said so.)
Ruhanika glanced back at him.
Ruhanika: "Matlab hum chalenge ab pani puri khane??"
(Does that mean weâll go for pani puri now?)
Rudraksh gently kissed her cheek.
Rudraksh: "Mallika-e-Aksh kuch mange aur main na du?? Na ji is janam me toh ye possible nahi hai."
(When the Mallika-e-Aksh wants something, and I refuse? Thatâs impossible in this lifetime.)
Ruhanika giggled, her eyes twinkling with playfulness, and leaned in to kiss his cheek in return.
Ruhanika: "Aap kitne achche, pyaare aur sundar hai."
(Youâre so sweet, lovely, and charming.)
Even he couldn't help but giggle along with her, the sound of their laughter blending together, creating a lighthearted and joyful moment between them.
Rudraksh: "Jao tum ready ho jao hum phir restaurant chalte hai."
(Go get ready, and weâll go to a restaurant.)
Ruhanika frowned, a playful hint of irritation crossing her face, and Rudraksh raised his eyebrows in surprise, intrigued by her reaction.
Rudraksh: "Kya??"
(What?)
Ruhanika: "Restaurant nahi, hume vo roadside wale bhaiya ka pani puri khana hai."
(Not a restaurant, I want to eat pani puri from that roadside vendor.)
Rudraksh: "Whatt?? No Ruhh, bilkul nahi vaise hi sookh ke kaata huyi padi ho, usme bhi ye unhealthy cheeze khani hai."
(What?? No, Ruhh! Youâre already so thin, and now you want to eat something unhealthy like this?)
Ruhanika: "Kyuuuu??? Bhaiyu toh khilate hai hume, bhai sa bhi mana nahi karte."
(Why not? Bhaiyu feeds me pani puri. Even Bhai Sa doesnât refuse.)
Rudraksh: "Tumhare bhaiyu and bhai sa, dono pagal hai, par main nahi, beside even your dates are near so no unhealthy food."
(Your Bhaiyu and Bhai Sa are both crazy, but Iâm not. Besides, your dates are near, so no unhealthy food.)
Ruhanika glared at him, her eyes filled with playful annoyance, before shifting beside him.
Ruhanika: "Mallika-e-Aksh kuch mange aur main na du, ye possible nahi, abhi abhi kaha na aapne ye."
(Didnât you just say that when Mallika-e-Aksh wants something, you canât refuse?)
Rudraksh: "Sab samajh raha hu main ye emotional card jo khel rhi ho tum betu, ye nahi chalega, I'm not gonna take your health lightly."
(I see through your emotional tactics, betu. It wonât work. Iâm not compromising on your health.)
Ruhanika: "Hum zyada wala naraz ho jaye??"
(Should I get super mad, then?)
Rudraksh: "Ek kiss se man jaogi tum."
(one kiss will make you forgive me)
Ruhanika pouted, knowing deep down that Rudraksh was right. She couldnât stay angry with him, especially when he always knew how to calm her down. However, as Mrs. Rudraksh Malhotra, she wasn't one to lose easily. Determined, she leaned closer to him, her breath warm against his skin. She placed her hand gently on his chest, just beside the buttons of his shirt, her fingers grazing the fabric, as if silently claiming her space in his world.
Ruhanika: "Akkkssshhhhh"
Ruhanika spoke in a voice so sweet and soft that Rudraksh, unable to resist, closed his eyes to maintain his composure. He gently held her hand on his chest, feeling the warmth of her touch and trying to steady his emotions.
Rudraksh: "Le aayi brahmastra, Okay, just one plate. Now go get ready."
Ruhanika giggled as she stepped down from the bed, but Rudraksh quickly reached out and gently held her hand.
Ruhanika: "Jii??"
(What??)
Rudraksh: "Bahaut din ho gaye Ruhh, tumhe traditionals me nahi dekha, agar tum comfortable ho toh..."
(Itâs been a long time since Iâve seen you in traditional attire. If youâre comfortable, maybe...)
Ruhanika smiled brightly, her eyes twinkling as she blinked.
Ruhanika: "Hum bilkul aapki Ruhh ki tarah taiyaar hokar aate hai, aap bhi humare Aksh ki tarah aaiye, matlab safed shirt pehniye aur aastin mod lijiyega."
(Iâll get ready just like your Ruhh. And you should come dressed like my Akshâwear a white shirt and roll up the sleeves.)
Rudraksh: "Mallika-e-Aksh ka hukum sar aakhon par."
(The Mallika-e-Akshâs orders are my command.)
Ruhanika: "Jii usme na aapke hath aur bhi aakarshit aur sundar lagte hai."
(Yes, because your hands and forearms look so beautiful in that.)
Rudraksh: "Go and get ready paglu"
(Go and get ready, you silly girl.)
Both shared a lighthearted chuckle before heading to get ready for the day. Ruhanika slipped into the washroom, while Rudraksh quickly made his way to the closet to pick out his clothes. He chose a crisp white shirt paired with beige trousers, the simplicity of his outfit giving him a polished yet casual look. Meanwhile, Ruhanika emerged from the washroom, radiant in a pastel blue anarkali dress that accentuated her graceful figure. The soft, delicate color seemed to complement her perfectly, and as she stood before him, Rudraksh couldnât help but be mesmerized by her beauty. She, too, was captivated by the sight of him, taking in the way his shirt fit him perfectly, the confidence in his stance, and the subtle charm he exuded. Without a word, they moved toward each other.
Rudraksh gently took her hand and helped her wear her jewelry, carefully adjusting the bindi between her eyebrows, her bangles, earrings, nuptial chain, anklets, and lastly Vermillion. Then he made her wear white ethnic juti's. In return, she tenderly buttoned up the top two buttons of his shirt, her fingers brushing against his chest, and then she set his hair, smoothing it down with a loving touch.
Later, the evening unfolded with a charming simplicity as Rudraksh took Ruhanika to a roadside pani puri stall. She beamed with excitement, relishing the familiar taste of the street food, completely unaware of the effort that went into making the experience special. Rudraksh had secretly arranged for one of his business partners, who worked in the hotel industry, to send his best chef, disguised as a roadside vendor. The chefâs exquisite preparation of the pani puris was top-notch, but Ruhanika simply enjoyed the moment, savoring each bite, while Rudraksh watched her with a contented smile.
After their delightful street food adventure, Rudraksh took Ruhanika shopping, where they browsed through stores, picking out things they both enjoyed. The evening continued with a cozy dinner, and then, as the night grew deeper, they made their way to a serene, hilly area. The view of Mumbai sparkling beneath the stars was breathtaking, and they shared a sweet dessert, wrapped in each otherâs company, enjoying the peace and beauty of the moment.
As the night came to a close, they headed back home, feeling content and happy from their mini date. Back in the comfort of their room, they curled up in each other's arms, the warmth of their closeness enveloping them as they drifted into a peaceful sleep, the memories of the evening lingering in their hearts.
