Mafia King's innocent biwi

"Mohabbat lafzon ki mohtaaj nahi,

Aakhein toh khamoshi bhi

Padh leti hai,

Jo bayan na ho sake labon se,

Dhadkane vo bhi mehsus kar leti hai"

In a dimly lit warehouse located in a crowded chawl area, five to six rugged-looking men sat around an old wooden table, engaged in a game of carrom. Their rough expressions and intimidating demeanor made it clear that they were no ordinary men—they were goons. The sound of striker hits and occasional grunts of frustration filled the air as they played. Just then, the door creaked open, and Vijaypratap stepped inside, carrying a small bag in his hand. His sharp eyes scanned the room, and the men immediately paused their game, their attention shifting towards him.

Man: "Ohh Sahab, bahaut dino baad yaad kiya, aaj kal kisi pe hamla ya kisi ki jaan nahi lete kya aap??"

(Oh sir, you remembered me after so many days! Have you stopped attacking people or taking lives these days?)

Vijaypratap settled into one of the chairs, his movements calm yet deliberate. He placed the bag firmly on the carrom board, the sound echoing slightly in the tense atmosphere. The head of the goons narrowed his eyes, his gaze fixed on Vijaypratap, trying to decipher his next move.

Man: "Pehle se zyada paise lagte hai, aisa kya kaam hai??"

(It costs more than before. What kind of work is this?)

Vijaypratap: "Rudraksh Malhotra"

Man: "Vo Asia ka sabse bada businessman??"

(The biggest businessman in Asia?)

Vijaypratap: "Haa vahi"

(Yes, him.)

Man: "Aisi bhi kya dushmani hai usse?? Jaha tak mujhe pata hai uska toh in sab cheezo se koi lena dena hi nahi, sidha sadha businessman hai."

(What kind of enmity do you have with him? As far as I know, he has nothing to do with these kinds of things—he's just a straightforward businessman.)

Vijaypratap: "Only if you know, Khair tumse jitna kaha ja raha hai vo karo."

(Only if you knew. Anyway, just do as you’re told.)

Man: "Kaha karna hai uspe hamla??"

(Where do we need to attack him?)

Vijaypratap: "uspe nahi, uski biwi pe."

(Not him—his wife.)

Man: "Uski biwi bhi hai, thik hai kaha karna hai?"

(He has a wife too? Alright, where should we attack her?)

Vijaypratap: "Uske college ke bahar."

(Outside her college.)

Man: "Koi photo??"

(Do you have a photo?)

Vijaypratap: "Photo nahi hai, par main aaunga kal subah tum logo ke sath dikha dunga, aur phir college ke baad hamla karna hai... Par yaad rahe sirf darana hai, uski jaan nahi Jani chahiye, bahaut mehengi us ladki ki jaan."

(No photo, but I will come tomorrow morning and show you. The attack should be carried out after college… But remember, she must not die. That girl’s life is very expensive.)

Man: "Itni mehengi hai toh hume kitne de rahe hai?? Is baar 1 crore se kaam nahi chalega."

(If she’s that valuable, how much are you paying us? This time, 10 million won’t be enough.)

Vijaypratap: "1.5 Crore hai aur baaki 1.5 crore kaam hone ke baad."

(15 million now, and another 15 million after the job is done.)

Man: "Thik hai."

(Alright.)

Vijaypratap stood up and left. As soon as he was out of sight, the men huddled together, their expressions turning serious as they began strategizing for the attack, their voices low and filled with determination.

Vijaypratap: "Kuch darr kabhi khatam nahi hote Rudraksh Malhotra, jab tak JM ko kuch pata nahi chalta, tumhe bhi uljha ke rakhna hoga, aur tumhari us biwi se achchi aur kya hogi tumhari dukhti bas."

(Some fears never go away, Rudraksh Malhotra. As long as JM doesn’t find out anything, you need to keep him distracted—and what better way to do that than through his wife?)

Vijaypratap smirked, his eyes gleaming with a hidden intent. Adjusting the mask on his face, he turned on his heel and walked away, disappearing into the shadows like a phantom with a plan of his own.

The next day, Rudraksh personally dropped Ruhanika off at her college, ensuring she was safe. As she stepped out of the car, she turned back and hugged him tightly, her grip lingering as if seeking reassurance. Rudraksh gently patted her back before pulling away, his sharp eyes scanning the entire area for any potential threats. Satisfied that everything seemed normal, he relaxed slightly, unaware that Vijaypratap and his men were lurking in a hidden spot nearby. From his concealed position, Vijaypratap’s eyes followed Ruhanika, but due to the angle and distance, her face remained obscured from his view.

Vijaypratap: "vo black dress wali ladki, vahi hai uski biwi. Hamla aisa ho ki uske kharoche aye par jaan nhi jani chahiye, samjhe??"

(The girl in the black dress—that's his wife. The attack should be brutal enough to leave scars but not take her life. Understood?)

They all nodded in agreement while Ruhanika waved at Rudraksh before heading inside the college. Rudraksh watched her for a moment longer, ensuring the bodyguards were in their designated positions for her safety. Only after confirming everything was in place did he finally turn away and leave for his office.

Afternoon at RM Mansion,

Ruhanika was half-reclined on the bed, comfortably resting, while Savisha, Kritika, and Akshavi sat around her, engaged in conversation.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa aapne kyu bataya inhe, aap janti hai na hume chot lagti hai toh vo pareshan ho jate hai."

(Bhabhi sa, why did you tell them? You know how worried he gets when I get hurt.)

Savisha: "Par beta batana padega, dekho kitni chot lag gayi hai."

(But dear, we had to tell them. Look at how badly you’re hurt.)

Ruhanika: "Ha par ab vo gussa karenge, aur Akshu bhabhi, Bhaiyu toh hume bahaut datenge na."

(Yes, but now he will be angry. And Akshu Bhabhi, Bhaiyu will scold me a lot, right?)

Akshavi: "Nahi Ruhi, Ashvik nahi datenge tumhe, bahaut pyaar karte hai tumse."

(No, Ruhi, Ashvik won’t scold you. He loves you a lot.)

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa aapne bhai sa aur Rishi Bhai ko bulaya kya? Hume daant padegi toh vo hume bacha lenge."

(Bhabhi sa, did you call Bhai sa and Rishi Bhai? If I get scolded, they’ll protect me.)

Before Savisha could respond, a knock on the door interrupted her. It was Karanjeet.

Kritika: "Aa jao Dadu, dekho aapki Ruhi puttar ne kya haal kiya hua hai."

(Come, Dadu! Look at what your Ruhi puttar has done to herself.)

Karanjeet entered the room and shot a glare at Ruhanika. Like a scared puppy, she immediately lowered her head, her lips forming a small pout, hoping to escape his scolding.

Ruhanika: "Dadu, hume maaf kar dijiye."

(Dadu, please forgive me.)

Karanjeet: "Main naraz thodi hu, tujhe apne man ki karni hai toh kar main kya bol sakta hu."

(I’m not angry at you. If you always want to do as you please, what can I even say?)

Karanjeet spoke while settling into a plush chair beside the bed. Ruhanika gently took his hand, her eyes filled with pure innocence as she looked at him and softly apologized, her voice laced with sincerity.

Ruhanika: "Maaf kar dijiye na Dadu."

(Please forgive me, Dadu.)

Karanjeet let out a soft sigh and gently caressed her head, his touch filled with warmth and care.

Karanjeet: "Kyu karti hai puttar aise, ab Khamakha Rudra se daant padegi."

(Why do you do these things, puttar? Now you’ll get scolded by Rudra for no reason.)

Ruhanika: "Ha toh aap kis liyo ho yaha?bhaiyu aur inki daant se hume bacha Lena na aap."

(That’s why you’re here, right? You’ll protect me from Bhaiyu and his scoldings.)

Ruhanika spoke, placing her hand on her waist, her expression making it clear that she believed Karanjeet was at fault. Karanjeet raised his eyebrows in surprise, amused by her sudden stance.

Karanjeet: "Hmmmm???"

Ruhanika: "Humara matlab please Dadu."

(I mean… please, Dadu!)

Kritika: "Aur ye huye Mr. Karanjeet singh Khurana huye clean bold."

(And there you go, Mr. Karanjeet Singh Khurana—clean bold!)

Everyone chuckled at the lighthearted moment, filling the room with warmth and laughter. Just then, Rudraksh and Ashvik came running in, their energy radiating concern. Kritika quickly helped Savisha shift a little to make space, while she and Akshavi stood up from the bed. Meanwhile, Rudraksh and Ashvik wasted no time, rushing to either side of Ruhanika and grabbing her hands as if claiming their spots beside her.

Ashvik: "Teddy kaha lagi hai?? Kaise lagi hai??"

(Teddy, where did you get hurt? How did it happen?)

Rudraksh: "Dadu doctor ko bulaya aapne?? Kya bola doctor ne?"

(Dadu, did you call the doctor? What did they say?)

Rudraksh asked with concern, his eyes scanning her hands and face for any signs of injury. Meanwhile, Ashvik carefully examined her other hand and gently checked her head, both of them visibly worried about her well-being.

Ashvik: "Shavi, bachcha tumne kaha teddy ko chot lag gayi hai, kaha hai??"

(Shavi, sweetheart, you said Teddy got hurt. Where is she hurt?)

Rudraksh: "Internal hogi Ashvik, tu car nikal main Ruhh ko lekar aata hu, hospital chalte hai."

(It might be internal, Ashvik. You get the car; I’ll bring Ruhh. We need to go to the hospital.)

Ruhanika, Akshavi, Kritika, and Savisha all facepalmed simultaneously, clearly exasperated by the antics of the two overprotective men. Meanwhile, Karanjeet chuckled, finding their behavior both amusing and predictable. Rudraksh, determined as ever, pulled the duvet away from Ruhanika, ready to lift her up without a second thought. Just as he was about to scoop her into his arms, Ruhanika quickly grabbed his hand, stopping him in his tracks.

Ruhanika: "Aap dono baat toh suniye humari."

(Will you both please listen to me?)

Ashvik: "Baatein baad me teddy, pehle chal hospital, na jane kaha lagi aur ha lagi kaise chot??"

(We’ll talk later, Teddy. First, let's go to the hospital. Who knows how bad it is? And how did you even get hurt?)

Rudraksh: "Tu kya ye sab puchne baith gaya, doctor puchegi na, tu car nikal"

(Why are you sitting here asking questions? The doctor will ask them. Just get the car!)

Ruhanika: "Baithiyee aap donooooo."

(Both of you, sit down!)

Ruhanika raised her voice slightly, her frustration evident. Rudraksh and Ashvik immediately turned to look at her, only to find her glaring at them with narrowed eyes, arms crossed in clear disapproval.

Rudraksh: "par Betu tumhe..."

(But Betu, you—)

Ruhanika: "Hum thik hai, aap baithiye pehle."

(I’m fine. Just sit first.)

Rudraksh and Ashvik quickly retreated, settling back into their seats without protest.

Ruhanika: "Hume bas pair me moch aayi hai"

(I just have a sprain in my foot.)

Rudraksh and Ashvik's eyes widened in shock as they took in the sight of her swollen, red-purple foot. Without a second thought, Rudraksh gently took her foot in his hands, his touch careful yet firm, as concern etched across his face. Ashvik leaned in, his brows furrowed in worry.

Ruhanika: "Ahhh"

Rudraksh: "Sorry Jaan sorry."

Rudraksh gently caressed her foot, his fingers moving with utmost care as if afraid to cause her more pain. The anguish in his eyes was undeniable, reflecting his helplessness. Ashvik, equally worried, ran his hand over the swollen area, his touch light but filled with concern. Panic settled in both of them as they exchanged glances, their minds racing for a solution.

Ashvik: "Rudra chal ise hospital le chalte hai, kitni swelling ho gayi hai, kahi kuch major na ho jaye."

(Rudra, let’s take her to the hospital. The swelling has increased a lot. It might be something serious.)

Rudraksh: "Haa car nikal main lekar aata hu."

(Yes, get the car. I’ll bring her.)

Ashvik spoke with urgency, and Rudraksh immediately agreed, his concern mirroring his Ashvik’s. Meanwhile, Savisha, Akshavi, Kritika, and Ruhanika exchanged knowing smiles, touched by their protectiveness. They shook their heads fondly, amused yet grateful for the unwavering care these men showered upon them.

Akshavi: "Shant ho jaye aap dono"

(You both need to calm down.)

Ashvik: "Shavi, dekho kitni lag gayi hai ise yaar kya bol rhi ho."

(Shavi, look at how badly she’s hurt! What are you even saying?)

Kritika: "Rudra bhai, Ashu bhai, relax doctor ko call kiya hai vo aate honge."

(Rudra Bhai, Ashu Bhai, relax. The doctor has been called and will be here soon.)

Rudraksh: "Konsa pagal doctor hai ye?? Hum 10 minute me aa gaye aur use itna time lag raha hai. Ashu tu chal yaar ye log sab pagal hai."

(What kind of crazy doctor is this? We reached in 10 minutes, and they’re taking so long! Ashu, let’s go—these people are all mad.)

Ruhanika facepalmed herself. Just as Rudraksh was about to lift her, the doctor entered the room right on time, making him pause.

Ashvik: "Aap itna late kaise ho sakti hai doctor?? Koi patient critical hai aur aap aise careless behave kar rahi hai."

(How can you be so late, doctor? A patient is critical, and you’re behaving so carelessly!)

The doctor scanned the room, expecting to find a critical patient, but instead, her eyes landed on Ruhanika comfortably seated on the bed with Rudraksh beside her. She raised an eyebrow in confusion, glancing between the two.

Rudraksh: "Yaha vaha mat dekhiye aap please treatment start kijiye Ruhh ko bahaut dard ho raha hai."

(Don’t look around—just start the treatment! Ruhh is in a lot of pain.)

Savisha: "Doctor please don't mind them, aap Ruhi ko dekhiye uska pair twist ho gaya tha, relief spray lagaya tha humne and ice bhi."

(Doctor, please don’t mind them. Just check Ruhi. Her foot got twisted. We applied relief spray and ice.)

The doctor nodded in understanding and settled beside Ruhanika’s leg, preparing for the checkup. Meanwhile, Rudraksh and Ashvik each clung tightly to her hands from either side, their expressions contorted as if they were the ones in pain instead of her. Their overprotective nature was on full display, their furrowed brows and tense jaws making it seem like they were bracing for impact.

Karanjeet, Kritika, Savisha, and Akshavi exchanged amused glances, barely holding back their laughter. To them, Rudraksh and Ashvik’s dramatic reactions were more entertaining than the situation itself. Their exaggerated concern, paired with their unintentionally comical expressions, made it impossible not to chuckle.

Doctor: "Okay, Mrs. Malhotra, how did your foot get twisted?"

The doctor, along with Ashvik and Rudraksh, turned their attention to Ruhanika. Feeling their gazes on her, she lowered her head, avoiding their eyes.

Rudraksh: "Areh betu bata do kaise lagi tumhe, vo thodi kuch bolengi."

(Areh betu, tell her how it happened. She won’t say anything.)

Ruhanika: "Vo.. vo hum.."

(Uh… I…)

Ashvik: "bol na beta kaise lagi??"

(Speak up, beta! How did it happen?)

Ruhanika: "Hum heel wali sandal pehen ke chal rahe the aur gir gaye."

(I  was walking in heels and… I fell.)

Rudraksh and Ashvik exchanged a glance before both turned to glare at Ruhanika, their expressions filled with disapproval.

Doctor: "Okay, it’s not a major injury. I’ll just wrap a crepe bandage. Rest for two days, and you’ll be fine, Mrs. Malhotra. I’ll prescribe some painkillers, and that’s all."

The doctor carefully wrapped the crepe bandage around her swollen foot while Ruhanika kept her head lowered, avoiding eye contact. She could feel the intense glares of both Rudraksh and Ashvik burning into her, their concern mixed with frustration. Kritika, sensing the tension, quietly walked the doctor to the door, leaving behind an awkward silence in the room.

Rudraksh: "Yaha dekhiye Rajkumari ji"

(Look here, her highness)

Ashvik: "Kya harkat ki hai ye??"

(What were you even trying to do?)

Rudraksh: "Aur kyu ki hai??"

(And why?)

Ashvik: "Mana kiya tha, pichli baar girte girte bachi thi phir bhi."

(I told you not to. Last time, you barely avoided falling, and still…)

Ruhanika: "Baaki sab the humare sath, hum bas koshish kar rahe the na bhaiyu."

(Everyone was with me. I was just trying…)

Ashvik: "Uski bhi kya zaroorat thi haa??"

(And what was the need for that, huh?)

Rudraksh: "Aur bhabhi, aap sabne roka nahi ise, vaise hi ye suii jaisi hai, usme bhi girti padti rehti hai."

(And Bhabhi, why didn’t you all stop her? She’s already as thin as a needle, and yet she keeps falling all the time.)

Ruhanika: "Hum suii jaise nahi hai, aap kuch bhi mat boliye"

(I’m not as thin as a needle! Don’t say anything random.)

Rudraksh: "Bas yahi sunai Diya, baaki sab jo bola vo nahii."

(That’s all you heard? Ignoring everything else I said?)

Ruhanika pouted, her lips forming a slight frown, before lowering her head once again, avoiding their stern gazes.

Karanjeet: "Bachchi hai jaane de, vapas nahi karegi."

(She’s just a kid. Let it go. She won’t do it again.)

Ruhanika: "Vapas nahi karenge toh sikhenge kaise Dadu??"

(If I don’t do it again, how will I learn, Dadu?)

Ruhanika spoke while looking at Karanjeet, who immediately facepalmed, sighing in defeat. He had been trying to save her, but clearly, this girl had other plans. His efforts had gone in vain, and now she was on her own.

Rudraksh and Ashvik, still fuming with concern, shot her another sharp glare. Feeling their intense stares, Ruhanika quickly lowered her head, feigning innocence. But just as she thought the scolding was over, Rishwik, Kartavya, and Amandeep entered the room, immediately joining in to reprimand her.

However, Ruhanika knew exactly how to handle them. She lifted her face, her big, innocent eyes shimmering as she gave them her signature puppy-eyed look. Within seconds, the three of them sighed in defeat, their anger dissolving as they melted like butter. Karanjeet, watching this unfold, shook his head in disbelief. This girl is impossible.

Later, all five men left the room and headed to another space for their discussion. As they entered, each took their respective seats, the air around them heavy with seriousness. The atmosphere hinted that an important conversation was about to take place.

Rishwik: "Thankfully aaj Angel jaldi ghar aa gayi."

(Thankfully, Angel came home early today.)

Ashvik: "Kya thankfully, harkatein dekhi hai uski."

(What do you mean, "thankfully"? Have you seen her antics?)

Amandeep: "Agar jaldi nahi aati bhai toh college ke yaha jo hua usse uspe kya asar hota."

(If she hadn’t come home early, then considering what happened near the college, imagine how it would have affected her.)

Kartavya: "Rudra kya hua??"

(Rudra, what happened??)

Rudraksh abruptly stood up, his frustration evident, and without a second thought, he punched the vase beside him. The sharp sound of shattering glass echoed through the room, making everyone tense.

Rishwik: "Bhaiiii"

(Brooo...)

Rudraksh: "Himmat kaise huyi us Vijaypratap ki aisa karne ki??? Mujhe bhatkane ke liye kiya hai usne sab."

(How dare Vijaypratap do something like this??? He did all this just to provoke me.)

Amandeep: "But bhai uska plan successfully toh nahi hua."

(But, brother, his plan wasn’t successful.)

Ashvik: "Bodygards ko bulao."

(Call the bodyguards.)

Amandeep immediately called Ruhanika's bodyguards, and within the next two minutes, they arrived, standing alert and ready for instructions.

Kartavya: "What exactly happened??"

Bodyguard: "Sir, as per our plan to keep Vijaypratap in delusion, some of us remained stationed outside the college even after ma’am had left. Later, when the other students had also left, a car suddenly came and crashed into another vehicle. A crowd gathered around the accident, and in the chaos, some people attempted to kidnap a girl. We intervened and rescued her, only to find that she was dressed similarly to Ruhanika Ma’am."

Rudraksh's jaw tightened, his fists clenching in suppressed rage. Before he could react further, Ashvik stepped forward, grabbing one of the bodyguards by the collar and demanding answers, his voice sharp with authority.

Ashvik: "I hope those men are in our custody. If not, you guys are finished."

Bodyguard: "They are in the dungeon, Sir."

Ashvik smirked at the bodyguard, releasing his collar before casually patting his shoulder, his expression laced with both appreciation and amusement.

Ashvik: "Well done boys."

The bodyguards nodded firmly.

Rudraksh: "Any leads??"

Bodyguard: "They are refusing to speak, Sir."

Amandeep: "Kuch na kuch toh pakka milega, muh na khole toh apna tareeka apnao."

(We’ll definitely get something out of them. If they don’t open their mouths, we’ll use our own methods.)

Rishwik: "Make sure they regret their existence."

They all nodded in agreement before turning around and leaving the room.

Kartavya: "Kya soch raha hai Rudraksh??"

(What are you thinking, Rudraksh??)

Rudraksh: "Ye kaam toh Vijaypratap ka hi hai bhai, ye sab usne sirf Ruhh ko darane ke liye kyuki accidents se darr lagta hai use."

(Brother, this is definitely Vijaypratap’s doing. He did all this just to scare Ruhh because she is terrified of accidents.)

Ashvik: "Isme bhi us JM ka hath toh hoga hi"

(JM must have had a hand in this as well.)

Kartavya: "Definately, Varna Vijaypratap ki aisi halat nahi hai ki vo kuch aisa karne ki himmat kare."

(Definitely. Otherwise, Vijaypratap alone wouldn’t have the guts to pull something like this off.)

Amandeep: "Bhai vo aapke bare me search kar raha hai, but kuch milega nahi."

(Brother, he’s been trying to dig up information about you, but he won’t find anything.)

They all smirked, fully aware that no one could uncover any information about Rudraksh beyond his well-crafted businessman persona. His true identity and deeper connections remained a mystery, safeguarded by their unshakable loyalty and strategic planning.

Rishwik: "Par vo aisa kar kyu raha hai? Kyu Vijaypratap ki help kar raha hai??"

(But why is he doing this? Why is he helping Vijaypratap??)

Rudraksh: "Ye toh ab vo khud hi batayega."

(He will tell us himself soon enough.)

Ashvik: "Aur ye stunt Vijaypratap ne kiya hai, uska hisab toh vo ab soot samet dega."

(And since Vijaypratap pulled off this stunt, he will now pay for it in full.)

Kartavya: "Galti se bhi little sunshine pe kharoch aa jati na, toh narak dharti pe hi dekh leta vo."

(If even a single scratch had come to our little sunshine, he would have seen hell right here on Earth.)

Rudraksh: "Bhai kharoch?? Pair dekha hai uska, kitni chot laga li hai paglu ne, na jane kya kya karti rehti hai."

( Brother, a scratch?? Have you seen her leg? She’s hurt so badly, always up to something or the other.)

Ashvik: "Vahi toh, iski toh class leni padegi jab dekho matargashti, uchal kuud, zara sa kaan khichayi karunga sahi ho jayegi."

(Exactly! We need to give her a proper scolding. Always running around, jumping everywhere—just a little ear-pulling, and she’ll be set straight.)

Rishwik: "Hath laga ke dikhao meri Angel ko."

(Try laying a hand on my Angel.)

Rishwik shot a sharp glare at Ashvik, but Ashvik simply rolled his eyes in response, unfazed by his reaction.

Amandeep: "Zyada na eye roll mat karo, Ruhi ko danta toh Akshu bhabhi se aisi aag lagayenge ki bujhane me zindagi lag jayegi."

(Don’t roll your eyes too much. If you scold Ruhi, Akshu Bhabhi will set such a fire that it’ll take a lifetime to put out.)

Rishwik and Amandeep both chuckled, exchanging a quick high five, amused by the situation. Meanwhile, Rudraksh and Ashvik silently turned and walked away, their expressions still serious.

Rishwik: "yaar Aman, kya ye dono apne ko ignore karke Gaye??"

(Aman, do you think those two went to ignore us on purpose??)

Amandeep: "Lag toh raha hai"

(Seems like it.)

Kartavya: "Shukr karo dono ki haddi tod ke nahi gaye."

(Be thankful they didn’t break your bones before leaving.)

Rishwik: "Aap toh mauka dekho isi sabka."

(You always look for such opportunities.)

Kartavya shot him a sharp glare and took a step forward, his posture tense and assertive.

Rishwik: "Haa bhabhsss aaya main aaya."

(Yes, Bhabhs, I’m coming!)

Rishwik bolted from there at lightning speed, not wanting to face Kartavya’s wrath. Kartavya then turned his piercing gaze toward Amandeep, who immediately gulped, sensing trouble.

Amandeep: "Maina kaha kuch bola??"

(I didn’t even say anything??)

Kartavya took a deliberate step toward Amandeep, his intense gaze unwavering. Amandeep stiffened, feeling the pressure, his eyes darting around as if searching for an escape.

Amandeep: "Haa Rishi aa gaya main bhi."

(Alright, Rishi, I’m coming too.)

Amandeep didn’t waste a second and dashed away just like Rishwik. Kartavya watched them flee and chuckled to himself, amused by their childish antics.

At dinner time, Rudraksh was occupied with a phone call, standing in the balcony, his voice firm and focused. Meanwhile, inside the room, Ruhanika sat on the bed with a deep pout, her arms crossed in frustration. Kartavya entered the room and immediately noticed the scene—the ever-busy Rudraksh in the balcony and Ruhanika sulking like a child. A knowing smile played on his lips as he walked over to her. Without a word, he sat beside her and gently ruffled her hair, making her huff in annoyance.

Kartavya: "Kya hua, meri little sunshine ki shine kaha hai??"

(What happened? Where is my little sunshine’s shine?)

Ruhanika: "Humari shine thodi si naraz hai humse."

(My shine is a little upset with me.)

Kartavya chuckled, shaking his head in amusement.

Kartavya: "naraz nahi reh sakta zyada der, khud Maan jayega relax."

(He won’t stay upset for long; he’ll come around on his own. Relax.)

Ruhanika: "Aap sahayta kijiye na bhai sa inhe manane me."

(Brother, please help me convince him.)

Kartavya: "Achcha thik hai main baat karunga, pehle chal khana kha le."

(Alright, I’ll talk to him, but first, let’s go have dinner.)

Ruhanika: "Aur ye??"

(And him??)

Kartavya: "Rudraa"

Rudraksh turned toward them, raising his eyebrows questioningly.

Kartavya: "I’m taking her down for dinner."

Rudraksh blinked and Kartavya effortlessly lifted Ruhanika into his arms, preparing to take her downstairs.

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa hum aapse thode se naraz hai."

(Brother, I’m a little upset with you.)

Kartavya chuckled and shook his head, already suspecting that there must be some silly reason behind it.

Kartavya: "Achcha little sunshine ji, reason bataiye."

(Oh really, little sunshine? Tell me the reason.)

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa ne aapko 100 pushups ki punishment di, aapne hume bulaya kyu nahi aapke uper baithne ke liye??"

(Bhabhi Sa gave you a punishment of 100 push-ups. Why didn’t you call me to sit on your back??)

Kartavya's eyes widened in surprise, and he instinctively paused on the stairs for a few seconds, as if processing something unexpected.

Kartavya: "Isha ne ye bhi bata diya?"

(Isha told you about that??)

Ruhanika: "Haa vo hume sikha Rahi thi na ki hum agar inse naraz huye toh kaise saza de."

(Yes, she was teaching me how to punish him if I ever got mad at him.)

Kartavya: "Achcha aur kya kya sikhaya hai??"

(Oh really? And what else did she teach you??)

Ruhanika: "Yahi ki 100 pushups de, par hum sirf 10 denge aur unke uper baith jayenge."

(That I should give him 100 push-ups as punishment, but I’ll only give 10 and sit on his back.)

Kartavya chuckled.

Ruhanika: "Phir unhe couch pe sula de, par hum nahi karenge couch chota padega unhe, phir ki unhe room se nikal de par hum nahi karenge kyuki hum nahi reh payenge na unke bina, aur phir..."

(Then, she said to make him sleep on the couch, but I won’t do that because the couch is too small for him. Then, she said to throw him out of the room, but I won’t do that either because I can’t stay without him. And then...)

Kartavya quickly composed himself and continued down the stairs, gently placing Ruhanika in her seat at the dining table.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine jab tum kuch kar hi nahi sakti toh saza kya dogi??"

(Little sunshine, if you can’t do anything, then what kind of punishment will you give??)

Ruhanika looked at him with confusion, her brows slightly furrowed.

Ruhanika: "Areh haa, ye toh humne socha hi nahi."

(Oh, I didn’t think about that!)

Kartavya: "Sahi kehta hai Rudraa, paglu ho ekdum."

(Rudraa is right—you really are a little fool.)

Ruhanika: "Hum ek kaam karenge hum unse naraz hi nahi honge toh saza kaisi... Achchi tarkeeb hai na bhai sa??"

(I have an idea! I just won’t get mad at him at all, so there won’t be any need for a punishment... Good plan, right, Brother??)

Kartavya: "Ji Ruhi devi ekdum mast hai."

(Yes, Ruhi Devi, it’s a fantastic plan.)

Kartavya playfully bowed down in front of Ruhanika, making her giggle as both of them chuckled at their little act. Just then, Kritika entered the room with Savisha, and Kartavya immediately stood up to help Savisha sit comfortably. His caring nature was evident, and Savisha smiled at his sweet gesture. Meanwhile, Rishwik, Ashvik, and Akshavi arrived from the kitchen, carefully carrying the dinner. The delicious aroma filled the room, making everyone’s stomachs grumble in anticipation. Amandeep, on the other hand, had the task of bringing Karanjeet to the dining table. He guided him with a firm yet amused expression, knowing well that Karanjeet would probably try to escape any fuss. Soon, everyone settled around the table, the warmth of their bond making the simple act of having dinner feel like a special family gathering.

Kritika: "Oye gawar tu kya kar Raha tha in pati patni ke beech kitchen me??"

(Hey, you village boy! What were you doing in the kitchen between those husband and wife??)

Ashvik: "Third wheeling aur kya??"

(Third-wheeling, what else??)

Rishwik simply rolled his eyes and chose to ignore them completely, uninterested in their exchange.

Karanjeet: "Ruhi puttar, pair kaisa hai ab??"

(Ruhi puttar, how’s your leg now??)

Ruhanika: "Ji hum bilkul thik hai Dadu."

(Grandpa, I’m completely fine.)

Ashvik: "Kya kaha??"

(What did you say??)

Ruhanika: "Matlab hai halka sa dard hai Dadu."

(I mean, there’s just a slight pain, Grandpa.)

Ruhanika quickly changed her answer when Ashvik raised his eyebrows at her, making everyone chuckle. Meanwhile, Rishwik silently took the opportunity to serve dinner on Ruhanika's plate, knowing she often got too caught up in conversations to do it herself.

Rishwik: "Tum daro mat Angel, ye sab aise hi karte hai vo hum dono chote hai na isiliye."

(Don’t worry, Angel. They only act this way because we’re younger than them.)

Ruhanika: "Haa Rishi Bhai sahi kaha aapne, bahaut fayda uthate hai sab humare, aapke aur Aman bhaiya ke chote hone ka."

(Yes, Rishi Bhai, you’re right. Everyone takes advantage of the fact that we’re younger—you, Aman Bhaiya, and me.)

Amandeep: "Kya kar sakte hai Ruhi, ye bade log hote hi aise hai, naseeb hi kharab hai hum teeno ka."

(What can we do, Ruhi? These elders are just like this. We three are simply unlucky.)

Ruhanika: "Ji Aman bhaiya, Chodiye aap khana kha lijiye."

(Yes, Aman Bhaiya. Forget it, just eat your food.)

All the family members shot sharp glares at the three of them, but Ruhanika, Amandeep, and Rishwik remained completely unfazed, continuing to ignore everyone as if nothing was happening.

Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai bhindi bhi daliye humari plate me."

(Rishi Bhai, put some okra on my plate too.)

Rishwik: "Angel tumhe pasand nahi hai na Bhindi"

(Angel, you don’t like okra.)

Ruhanika: "Ji par inhe pasand hai, ye aate hi honge hume khilane."

(Yes, but he does. He’ll be here soon to feed me.)

Rishwik smiled as he placed some bhindi on Ruhanika’s plate. Just then, Rudraksh arrived and took his seat beside her. The dinner proceeded peacefully, filled with laughter and light-hearted teasing from the elders towards the younger ones. Ruhanika pouted at some of the comments, while Rishwik and the others tried to defend themselves, making the atmosphere even more cheerful.

In Ruhaaksh room,

Rudraksh lay on his side, his attention fixed on his phone, while Ruhanika lay facing him, her lips curved into a deep pout. She had been waiting patiently for him to look at her, but even after five long minutes, he hadn't spared her a single glance.

Her irritation grew by the second, her eyes narrowing as she watched him smirk slightly, fully aware of her silent tantrum. Rudraksh was thoroughly enjoying the attention and the way she was getting more annoyed with each passing moment. Instead of giving in, he continued his little act of ignoring her, reveling in the way she squirmed for his attention.

Fed up, Ruhanika huffed and resorted to poking his stomach, hoping to finally break his focus. But to her dismay, he simply caught her hand and gently pushed it away, his smirk deepening. That was the last straw. Having exhausted all her usual tactics, she decided to play her own game. Without a second thought, she shifted closer to him, her eyes gleaming with mischief. And before Rudraksh could react, she slipped inside his vest.

Ruhanika: "Maaf kar dijiye na hume, hum nahi karenge phir aisa, sachchi."

(Please forgive me, I won’t do it again, I swear.)

Rudraksh had just placed his phone aside and closed his eyes, ready to drift into sleep. But before he could relax, he felt tiny fingers gently prying his eyelids open. He sighed, already knowing who it was.

Ruhanika: "Baat kijiye humseeeeeee"

(Talk to meeeeeee.)

Ruhanika let out a small whine, clearly annoyed, while Rudraksh struggled to suppress his laughter, finding her reaction amusing.

Rudraksh: "Kya baat karu?"

(What should I talk about?)

Ruhanika: "Hum maafi mang rahe hai na, maaf kijiye."

(I am apologizing, aren’t I? Please forgive me.)

Rudraksh: "Nahi kiya toh??"

(And if I don’t?)

Ruhanika nestled comfortably against his chest, finding warmth and solace in his embrace. Then, with a playful grin, she began peppering his face with soft, affectionate kisses, making him smile.

Ruhanika: "Aap toh bahaut achche hai, aur toh aur Raja bhi hai toh maaf kar hi denge na hume."

(You are very kind, and on top of that, you are a king, so you will definitely forgive me, right?)

Rudraksh: "Aisa zaruri thodi hai."

(That’s not necessary.)

Ruhanika: "Areh aap Rajkumari kehte hai na hume, apni rajkumari ki zara si baat nahi manenge aap Akkkshhhhhh."

(Oh, but you call me a princess, right? Won’t you fulfill your princess’s small request, Akshhhhhh?)

Ruhanika spoke in a sweet voice while absentmindedly drawing random patterns on his chest. Rudraksh chuckled, his eyes filled with immense love, concern, and tenderness as he gazed at her. Feeling shy under his affectionate stare, she quickly hid her face in the crook of his neck, making him smile warmly.

Ruhanika: "aise na nihariye piya ji, hum sharam se pani pani ho jaate hai."

(Don’t look at me like that, my beloved. I feel shy and flustered.)

Rudraksh chuckled at her dramatic antics and pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her tightly, holding her as if he never wanted to let go.

Rudraksh: "Drama ho gaya aapka bhagyavaan??"

(Is your drama over now, dear wife?)

Ruhanika: "Ji piya ji, filhal toh ho gaya."

(Yes, my beloved, for now, it is.)

Rudraksh: "What is this piya ji Ruhh, kaha se sikhti ho ye sab."

(What is this “beloved” talk, Ruhh? Where do you learn all this from?)

Ruhanika: "Dadu unke zamane ki filme dikhate hai usme aise hi bolte hai"

(Grandpa shows me movies from his era, and they talk like this in them.)

Rudraksh: "Tum unke zamane ki ho??"

(Are you from their era too?)

Ruhanika looked at him in confusion, her brows knitting together, before shaking her head, unable to understand his reaction.

Ruhanika: "Toh kya hum aisa nahi bole??"

(So should I not talk like this?)

Both chuckled and soon sleep engulfed them.

Rudraksh: "Jo marzi ho bulao, par filhal so jao, araam chahiye na body ko."

(Call me whatever you want, but for now, go to sleep. Your body needs rest.)

Ruhanika: "Thik hai piya ji, ab aap itna keh hi rahe hai toh hum so jate hai."

(Alright, my beloved. Since you are insisting so much, I will sleep now.)

Rudraksh: "Dhanyawad aapka Rajkumari ji."

(Thank you, Princess.)

Both chuckled softly, enjoying the warmth of each other's presence. Soon, sleep gently embraced them, bringing peace to their tired souls.

At Rathore's,

Vijaypratap paced restlessly around his room, his expression clouded with worry, while Sukriti sat on the couch, her fingers nervously intertwined. Both were visibly tense, lost in their thoughts.

Vijaypratap: "JM ko pata chala toh achcha nahi hoga"

(If JM finds out, it won’t be good.)

Sukriti: "Aapko zarurat hi kya thi un bewakoofom se kaam karwane ki?? Kisi dusre se karwate"

(Why did you even need to involve those fools? You could have assigned someone else.)

Vijaypratap: "Har baar thik se karte hai, mujhe kya sapna aayega is baar pakde jayenge."

(They always do the job properly. How was I supposed to know they’d get caught this time?)

Sukriti: "Vo Rudraksh Malhotra toh unhe zinda nahi chodega."

(That Rudraksh Malhotra won’t spare them alive.)

Vijaypratap: "Maar deta toh problem nahi thi, par un logo ne kuch bata diya toh JM hume nahi chodega."

( If he had killed them, it wouldn’t have been a problem, but if they reveal anything, JM won’t spare me.)

Sukriti: "JM bhaisaab India kab aane wale hai??"

(When is JM bhai-saab coming to India?)

Vijaypratap: "Agle hafte"

(Next week.)

Sukriti: "Ab kya hoga??"

(What will happen now?)

Vijaypratap: "Mujhe kya pata, chup rahogi thoda sochne do."

(How would I know? Be quiet and let me think.)

Vijaypratap shouted in frustration, his voice echoing through the room. Sukriti immediately fell silent, pressing her lips together, afraid to utter another word.

At RM Mansion,

Ashvik sat comfortably on the couch, his posture relaxed yet attentive. Meanwhile, Ruhanika, ever the playful one, had made herself at home—partially perched on his shoulder and partially resting against the headrest of the couch. Her legs were stretched across his chest as he carefully massaged her foot with warm oil, his fingers moving with gentle precision, ensuring her utmost comfort.

While he focused on his task with quiet dedication, Ruhanika was far from sitting still. She busied herself with his hair, her fingers weaving through the strands as she gleefully tied multiple tiny ponytails, using a colorful assortment of hair accessories. Clips, bands, and tiny bows—she spared no effort in making him look as amusing as possible. Ashvik sighed but didn’t protest, knowing there was no escaping her antics. Instead, he continued massaging her foot, while Ruhanika giggled every time she added another ponytail, admiring her masterpiece.

Ashvik: "Beta dobara ye harkat ki na khair nahi teri, bahaut daant padegi."

(If you do this again, you won’t be spared. You’ll get scolded badly.)

Ruhanika: "Sevak aap aapke karya pe dhyaan dijiye yaha vaha ki vyarth baatein na kare."

(Servant, focus on your work and don’t talk unnecessarily.)

Ashvik looked up at her, his expression curious, but she shot him a sharp glare, making her annoyance clear.

Ruhanika: "Bhaiyu choti banane dijiye, dekhiye mat hume."

(Brother, let me make a braid. Don’t stare at me like that.)

Ashvik: "Ek toh ye kya pagalpan kar rahi hai."

(First of all, what kind of madness is this?)

Ruhanika: "Hum aapko sundar bana rahe hai, par aapke Baal kadak hai aap jante hai inke baal mulayam hai."

(I am making you look beautiful. But your hair is stiff. Do you know that his hair is soft?)

Ashvik: "Ha bhai sab toh aapke inka hi achcha hai, hum toh jaise taise hai bas na?"

(Oh, right! Everything about him is great, and I am just average, right?)

Ruhanika giggled.

Ruhanika: "Hum toh mazaak kar rahe the bhaiyu."

(I was just joking, Brother.)

Ashvik chuckled too, shaking his head in amusement at Ruhanika's playful reaction.

Ashvik: "Achcha dard nhi hai na??"

(Alright, does it hurt?)

Ruhanika: "Bas halka sa hai."

(Just a little.)

Ashvik started massaging it more gently, his touch filled with care. Just then, Akshavi walked in with some snacks and coffee. She paused for a moment, taking in the sight of the sibling duo, a soft smile forming on her lips at the bond they shared.

Ruhanika: "Akshu bhabhi, dekhiye bhaiyu ke baal kitne pyare lag rahe hai na."

(Akshu Bhabhi, look at how nice Brother’s hair looks, right?)

Akshavi glanced at Ashvik, and both chuckled together at Ruhanika’s adorable antics, finding her utterly amusing.

Akshavi: "Umm Ruhi inki chotiyo ke flowers laga de toh aur sundar lagenge."

(Umm, Ruhi, if we add some flowers to his braids, he’ll look even prettier.)

Ruhanika's eyes sparkled with excitement, her face lighting up with pure joy.

Ruhanika: "Ji bhabhi, hum.."

(Yes, Bhabhi, I…)

Akshavi: "Ruko tum main lekar aati hu."

(Wait, I’ll bring them.)

Ruhanika nodded, and soon, Akshavi arrived with a bunch of fresh flowers. With playful grins, she and Ruhanika sat on the headrest beside Ashvik and began adorning his hair with delicate blooms. Instead of irritation, a satisfied smile played on Ashvik's lips. He simply let them have their fun, enjoying the warmth of their presence and the laughter that filled the room.

Ruhanika: "Hayyy kitna sundar lag raha hai na bhabhi."

(Wow, doesn’t he look so beautiful, Bhabhi?)

Akshavi: "Ek photo toh banti hai."

(This moment calls for a picture.)

Ruhanika: "Humare sath bhabhi, humari aur bhaiyu ki tasveer."

( With me, Bhabhi! A picture of me and Brother.)

Akshavi: "Abhi leti hu."

(I’m taking it right now.)

Akshavi grinned as she took her phone and started capturing candid pictures of Ashvik and Ruhanika. Ruhanika, completely at ease, had her legs draped over Ashvik’s shoulders, playfully wrapping them around his neck. Ashvik chuckled, shaking his head at her antics, but he didn’t stop her. Instead, he held onto her legs gently, as if she were the most precious thing in the world.

Ruhanika: "Sevak ab aap apne dono hathon se do ungliya dikha ke peace wala pose banaiye."

(Servant, now make a peace sign with both your hands.)

Ashvik: "Pehle niche aa tu"

(First, get down from there.)

Ruhanika: "Nahi hum yahi baithenge hume pasand hai yaha."

(No, I’ll sit here. I like it.)

Ashvik: Tedddyyyyyyyyy"

Ruhanika: "Sevakkkkkk

(Servanttttttttt.)

Both Ashvik and Ruhanika giggled, flashing peace signs as Akshavi quickly captured the moment. Seeing their playful energy, she joined in, and soon, the three of them were huddled together, taking a series of fun selfies, their laughter filling the room.

Rudraksh had just returned from somewhere, and as soon as his eyes fell on the heartwarming scene before him, he halted near a pillar. A gentle smile adorned his face as he admired his family, his heart swelling with warmth. Just then, Kartavya also arrived home. Noticing Rudraksh standing there, lost in the moment, he walked up to him and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

Kartavya: "Rudra?? Yaha kya kar Raha hai??"

(Rudra?? What are you doing here?)

Rudraksh: "Ashvik ko dekhiye bhai, use vo family mil hi gayi jiske liye vo taras raha tha, uske chehre ki smile dekhiye zara."

(Look at Ashvik, Bhai. He has finally found the family he had been longing for. Just look at the smile on his face.)

Kartavya looked at the small, happy family in front of him and smiled, feeling a warmth spread through his heart at the sight of their bond.

Kartavya: "Usde chehre di smile, usde mann da satisfaction te pyaar das reha hai."

(His smile, his heart’s satisfaction, and the love in his eyes say it all.)

Both Rudraksh and Kartavya stood there in silence, their hearts filled with warmth as they admired the sweet bond between Ruhanika, Ashvik, and Akshavi. The laughter and light chatter between them created a comforting atmosphere, making the house feel like a true home. Soon, Kritika and Savisha also joined them.

Ruhanika: "Kriti didi, bhabhi sa dekhiye humne bhaiyu ko kya bana diya."

(Kriti Didi, Bhabhi Sa, look what I’ve done to Bhaiyu.)

Both of them glanced at Ashvik and chuckled, amused by his expression and reaction.

Kritika: "actually good idea un do bandaro ka bhi yahi haal karo Ruhi, Rishi aur Aman ka."

(Actually, good idea! Ruhi, do the same with those two monkeys—Rishi and Aman.)

Ruhanika: "Aman bhaiya ki bhi choti bana denge."

(I’ll make Aman Bhaiya’s hair into braids too.)

Akshavi: "Aur us nautanki Rishi ka make up kar denge."

(And we’ll do makeup on that drama king Rishi.)

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi hum bhi karenge, ab hume make up karna aata hai."

(Bhabhi, I’ll help! I know how to do makeup now.)

Ashvik: "Thik se chalna toh aata nahi hai, aayi badi make up karna aata hai."

(You don’t even know how to walk properly, and you claim to know makeup?)

Ruhanika: "Sevak aapka mukh zyada chal raha hai"

(Servant, you are talking too much.)

Ashvik: "Hath bhi chalte hai, fek du tujhe??"

(My hands work too! Should I throw you down?)

Ruhanika: "hum inhe batayenge, aapko sazaa chahiye??"

(I’ll tell him. Do you want to be punished?)

Ashvik: "ab ye dedh footiya chuhi dhamki degi mujhe."

(Now this tiny little mouse is threatening me.)

Ruhanika: "Bhaiyuuuuuuuu"

Ruhanika, irritated, grabbed Ashvik’s hair in her tiny fist and playfully twisted his head, making him groan while everyone else chuckled at their antics.

Ashvik: "Areh pagal chod chod, sorry meri maaa."

(Oh God, let go! Let go! Sorry, my dear sister!)

Ruhanika grinned mischievously and patted Ashvik’s head as if rewarding him, making everyone chuckle at her antics.

Ruhanika: "Good."

Akshavi: "Aur meri nand ko chuhi bolna band kijiye."

(And stop calling my sister in law a mouse!)

Ashvik: "Dono nanad bhabhi ne pagal bana rakha hai mujhe"

(Both sister in law's have turned me into a fool.)

Akshavi: "Kya???"

(What???)

Ashvik: "Kuch nahi janeman kuch nahi."

(Nothing, my love. Nothing at all.)

Ruhanika and Akshavi exchanged a high five, giggling in excitement. Ashvik, Savisha, and Kritika smiled at their playful energy. However, Ruhanika’s attention soon shifted to Savisha’s five-month-old baby bump. Her eyes softened as she gazed at it, a gentle smile appearing on her lips.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa, aapka tummy toh bahar aa gaya, matlab nanha baby bada ho raha hai na"

(Bhabhi sa, your tummy has grown bigger, which means the little baby is growing, right?)

Savisha smiled softly, her eyes filled with warmth as she gently caressed her baby bump, feeling an overwhelming sense of love and anticipation.

Savisha: "Haa Ruhi beta."

(Yes, Ruhi dear.)

Ruhanika: "Toh kya aapko mehsus hota hai jab vo bada hota hai??"

( So, can you feel it when the baby grows?)

Savisha chuckled at her curious questions, finding Ruhanika’s endless curiosity both amusing and endearing.

Savisha: "Haa Mumma's apne baby ko mehsus kar sakti hai."

(Yes, mothers can feel their babies.)

Ruhanika: "Kaisa mehsus hota hai bhabhi sa??"

(How does it feel, Bhabhi sa?)

Savisha: "Ye feeling ko describe karna difficult hai beta, jab tum khud mumma banogi na toh samajh jaogi. "

(It's difficult to describe this feeling, dear. When you become a mother yourself, you will understand.)

Ruhanika's smile slowly faded as she continued to stare at Savisha’s baby bump, lost in her thoughts. The others remained engrossed in their conversation, unaware of the sudden shift in her expression. Rudraksh, however, noticed instantly. His own smile disappeared as his eyes fixated on Ruhanika, reading the emotions she was trying to mask. A wave of concern washed over him. Kartavya, observing the silent exchange, shifted his gaze towards Rudraksh. He could sense that something was off. His brows furrowed slightly as he studied Rudraksh’s reaction, realizing that whatever had affected Ruhanika had now unsettled Rudraksh as well.

Kartavya: "Rudraa"

Kartavya raised an eyebrow at Rudraksh, easily seeing through his fake smile.

Kartavya: "Tune little sunshine ko bataya nahi hai??"

(Haven’t you told our Little Sunshine about it yet?)

Rudraksh lowered his head, avoiding Kartavya’s gaze. Sensing his emotions, Kartavya gently held his hand.

Kartavya: "Chal mere sath."

(Come with me.)

Kartavya led Rudraksh out to the lawn, where the cool breeze whispered around them. Both sat down.

Kartavya: "Why didn’t you tell her about physical intimacy?"

Rudraksh: "She’s too innocent, Bhai. My Ruhh is still a child, so pure… How can I ruin her innocence?"

Kartavya: "It’s not about ruining her innocence, Rudraa. She’s a girl, and she should know about these things. It’s important for her."

Rudraksh: "But I am there to protect her, Bhai."

Kartavya: "Can you be with her 24 hours a day?"

Rudraksh: "If that’s what it takes, I will do it."

Kartavya: "Rudraa, baat ko samajh little sunshine ko ye pata hona chahiye, kya tu pyaar nahi karta usse, kya use ye haq nahi ki vo tere pyaar ko mehsus kare??"

(Rudraa, try to understand. Little Sunshine needs to know about this. Don’t you love her? Doesn’t she have the right to feel your love?)

Rudraksh: "Pyaar ka matlab physical hona hi toh nahi hai na bhai, aur main Ruhh se pyaar karta hu, vo jaisi hai vaise hi pyaar karta hu, mujhe nahi chahiye uska jism, main kaise use dard de sakta hu bhai??"

(Love doesn’t mean just being physically close, Bhai. And I love Ruhh the way she is. I don’t need her body. How can I cause her pain, Bhai?)

Kartavya: "tu use dard nahi de sakta par few things are natural Rudraa and what about her??"

(You won’t hurt her, but some things are natural, Rudraa. And what about her?)

Rudraksh: "matlab??"

(What do you mean?)

Kartavya: "I agree, love isn’t just about physical intimacy. But she has the right to know everything and then decide for herself whether she wants it or not, right?"

Rudraksh lowered his head once again, knowing deep down that Kartavya was right. He couldn't argue, nor did he want to—he just needed a moment to process everything.

Rudraksh: "Par main kaise bhai?? It's difficult, aap jante nahi uske kitne sawaal hote hai."

(But how do I do it, Bhai? It’s difficult. You don’t know how many questions she asks.)

Kartavya: "Tu nahi toh kon Rudraksh, agar use bahar se pata chala, then there's a possibility that she reacts differently, aadha hi samjhi aur tujhse duri bana li toh??"

(If not you, then who, Rudraksh? If she learns about it from someone else, there’s a possibility she might misunderstand and create distance between you two.)

Rudraksh: "Noo bhai, aisa hone nahi dunga main, vo ek hi sukoon hai meri zindagi me."

(No, Bhai, I won’t let that happen! She is the only peace in my life.)

Kartavya: "That’s why I’m telling you—explain everything to her and let her decide. And anyway, not now, definitely, but being a mother is her birthright. It’s up to her whether she wants to be a mother or not, isn’t it?"

Rudraksh nodded.

Kartavya: "If you are not comfortable, then main Isha ko bolu, vo Ruhi ko bata de??"

(If you’re not comfortable, should I ask Isha to explain it to Ruhi?)

Rudraksh: "Nahi bhai, vo bhabhi ka 100 sawal karke pagal kar degi, main bata dunga I promise."

(No, Bhai! She’ll drive Bhabhi crazy with her hundred questions. I’ll tell her myself, I promise.)

Kartavya: "Okayy, and be patient."

Rudraksh nodded, and both of them stepped inside. His mind was preoccupied, crafting a script and brainstorming ideas on how to explain everything to Ruhanika in the best possible way. He needed her to understand without overwhelming her.

As they entered, they found the rest of the family still engaged in conversation, laughter and chatter filling the room. Karanjeet, Rishwik, and Amandeep had now joined them, adding to the lively atmosphere.

Rishwik was comfortably perched on the headrest beside Ruhanika, who was still playfully seated on Ashvik’s shoulders, looking completely at ease. Amandeep, exhausted from the long day, had settled beside Karanjeet, resting his head on his lap. Karanjeet, ever the caring one, was gently running his fingers through Amandeep’s hair, offering him a moment of comfort and relaxation. The sight of their close-knit bond brought a small smile to Rudraksh’s face, but he quickly snapped back to his thoughts, knowing he had something important to handle.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa nanha baby jab school me fancy dress competition me hissa lega na toh hum use aise taiyaar karenge ki vo jeet jayega."

(Bhabhi sa, when the little baby participates in a fancy dress competition at school, we will dress them up so well that they will definitely win!)

Savisha: "Aisa kya banaogi use Ruhi??"

(What will you dress them as, Ruhi?)

Ruhanika: "Madhumakhi"

(A honeybee!)

Everyone turned to look at her, and she simply grinned.

Ruhanika: "Hai na sabse alag, pehle hum Chor soche the, par shayad vo alag na ho."

(That’s the most unique one. First, we thought of a thief, but maybe that’s not very different.)

Everyone stared at her in shock, while Rudraksh shifted his gaze towards Kartavya, searching for his reaction.

Rudraksh: "Bhai, ise batau main vo sab??"

(Bhai, should I tell her everything??)

Kartavya chuckled at the scene, amused by Ruhanika's antics. Rudraksh, unable to hold back, joined him, shaking his head with a fond smile.

Kartavya: "Chal ab"

(Come on, let’s go.)

Kartavya: "Kya baatein ho Rahi hai."

(What are you all talking about?)

Ruhanika: "Bhai saaaaa"

(Brotherrrrr)

Ruhanika, bursting with excitement, lost her balance and was about to fall backward from the headrest when Rishwik swiftly caught her, steadying her just in time.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, ek aur anjar panjar dheela hua na tumhara toh khair nahi hai, vaise hi dimaag hila hua hai."

(Ruhh, if you did one more nonsense thing, you won’t be spared! your brain is already fried.)

Ruhanika pouted.

Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai dekhiye phir inhone daanta hume."

(Rishi Bhai, look, he scolded me again!)

Rishwik: "Main toh khud is zulm ka shikaar hu Angel kya batau ab."

(Angel, I myself am a victim of this oppression. What should I even say now?)

Amandeep: "Logo ka dimaag kharab karke unpe zulm karne wale pe zulm waah kya mazaak hai."

(People who drive others crazy and torture them talking about being oppressed? Wow, what a joke!)

Rishwik: "Safe territory me leta hai iska matlab ye nahi ki mere zone me aayega nahi, tab bataunga beta."

(Just because you are in a safe zone doesn’t mean you won’t enter my zone. Then I’ll show you!)

Amandeep: "Aur bhi dance videos hai tere mere pass, bol toh vo bhi send...."

(I have more dance videos of you, by the way. If you want, I can send those too...)

Rishwik: "Angel, ek advice deta hu, tum na kutta paal lena billi paal lena lekin iske jaisa dost mat palna."

(Angel, let me give you a piece of advice—get a dog, get a cat, but never get a friend like him!)

Amandeep: "I am honored!"

Rishwik playfully threw a pillow at Amandeep's face, making everyone chuckle. Laughter filled the room as the family enjoyed their sweet and lighthearted moment together, cherishing the warmth of togetherness.
