Li Zhiwei reluctantly went to look at the other wedding gowns. It was a pity she could not have that gown no matter how much she liked it. Since somebody else already claimed it, she couldn’t have it for herself. Besides, it was custom-made for that customer. She may not fit into it.

Li Zhiwei and Li Bai went into the VIP room. There were many gowns stored on one side of the room. Those gowns were very delicate and had to be kept under a certain temperature. If they were not stored in the right conditions, they would be damaged.

“Ms. Li, these gowns are specially imported from overseas. Do you want to try them on?”

“Can’t we try that gown?” Li Bai got up and tried to persuade the store manager. He did not want Li Zhiwei to be disappointed. “My wife really likes it.”

The store manager looked apologetically at both of them and said in a soft voice. “I’m so sorry. That gown was specially tailored for a customer. For the sake of our shop’s reputation, I cannot let you try it on.”

Li Zhiwei felt very disenchanted. She could not marry the man she loved, and now she couldn’t even wear the gown she wanted. Why was her life so miserable and tragic?
