Ye Tianxin stood at the end of the bed. She kicked her shoes aside and jumped into Li Qingcang’s arms.

“He’s gone.”

Jing Zhichen had left.

Li Qingcang reached his hand out and gently rubbed Ye Tianxin’s little face.

“So what?”

“So, we can play now.”

Li Qingcang lowered his tone and said softly, “What do you want to play?”

“I wanna play with you.”

Ye Tianxian looked like she had been possessed by a female hooligan.

Right as Li Qingcang said that, his phone rang. He picked up the phone and listened silently to the voice on the other end of the phone. After the person on the other end was done speaking, he looked apologetically at Ye Tianxin, who was laying in his arms.

He bent over and kissed Ye Tianxin’s cherry-colored lips. His lips gently rubbed on hers.

There was a peach-like fragrance on her lips.

He was so tempted to eat her up completely, right here and now.

Ye Tianxin knew that Li Qingcang had something important to do. She too wished that Li Qingcang could catch X and Young Master and drag them out from the dark. That way, they could live their lives together without needing to worry about them.

Ye Tianxin watched as Li Qingcang’s figure disappeared at the end of the corridor. She turned and walked back into the suite.

After Li Qingcang left, Ye Tianxin felt an emptiness in her heart. She prayed quietly that Li Qingcang would be safe, and things would go smoothly for him.

Ye Tianxin couldn’t sleep well in the detention room of the Watertown police station. Now, she slept until nine o’clock the next morning.

If it weren’t for her rumbling stomach, she probably wouldn’t have woken up.
