Mo’er snorted and said, “I need you, too.”

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Shi Han coming in. He trotted over and grabbed Shi Han’s hand.

“Daddy, can you let Mommy take us with her? I haven’t been to the capital yet. I heard that the capital has pandas and performers and the Great Wall…”

Shi Han hugged Mo’er and rubbed Mo’er’s small face with his hands. “Do you want to go out to play, too?”

“No, I just want to be with my mommy.”

Mo’er’s voice revealed a hint of attachment, which made Xie Yi’s eyes flash with guilt.

She stopped what she was doing, glanced at Shi Han, and said, “I could also just take him with me. Let Mo’er come with me.”

“You are going to perform an operation. Would you have any time to take care of him?” Shi Han gently stroked Mo’er’s face.

Xie Yi thought about it for a while and said, “I will bring an assistant to help take care of Mo’er when I am busy.”

Shi Han agreed and said, “It’s fine. But, Mo’er, you are a grown little man, aren’t you? When you go there with your mother, you have to take good care of her.”

Mo’er straightened her back and snorted, Of course.”

Xie Yi didn’t have to pack much. Over the years, she had become accustomed at the last minute. There was a suitcase that was packed at any time so she could take off with it.

Mo’er was so happy when he thought about going out and having fun with Mommy. He ran away to pack things by himself.

Shi Han picked up the phone and said, “I’m going back to the capital. I’m worried about Xie Yi and Mo’er going back.”

The man on the other end of the phone replied, “Okay. Take care of yourself.”

Three days later, Shi Han personally escorted Mo’er and Xie Yi onto the plane. The plane was about to take off, but Shi Han showed no sign of getting off the plane.

“Shi Han, the plane is about to take off!”

Shi Han tidied up his suit and replied calmly, “Then let it.”

Xie Yi asked, “Aren’t you getting off the plane?”

Shi Han fell silent for a while and then said, “Didn’t I tell you that I wanted to go with you two?”

Xie Yi replied, “You never said that.”

Shi Han nodded and said, “I didn’t say it? I thought I did. I have to go with both of you. What if you two like the capital so much that you refuse to come back? I’ve got to keep an eye on you both so you don’t get kidnapped…”

Even though Shi Han’s words seemed so lighthearted, Xie Yi knew that he was still genuinely worried about two of them.

Xie Yi knew that better than anyone. Even though she looked no different from ordinary people, she was actually a doctor.

“Shi Han, I don’t know how to repay you for being kind to me!”

Shi Han’s gazed at Xie Yi deeply and said, “Didn’t you repay us with a promise of love?”

Xie Yi replied, “I’m serious.”

Shi Han examined Xie Yi’s face and replied in a low tone, “Xie Yi, I’m being serious, as well. It is because of you that our family is complete.”
