-"Remember to be careful my child. I'm sure your grandmother will be thrilled when she sees you again after all these years" Mother smiled and fixed my hood, placing it over my head. –"Be careful child. Don't get in any trouble" My father said ruthlessly, saying goodbye and turning around to get inside the carriage. Mother sighs and smiled at me, caressing my cheek and placing a small kiss on my forehead. –"I'll see you in a couple of week my child" She said and that's when she turned and went inside the carriage, sitting beside father and the door was closed.

Deep inside me I knew it hurt mother leaving me behind, but father. . .thats a whole other story.

The horses screamed and their shoes hitting the rocks beneath made me stare at the carriage disappear in the deep miss. My body began to feel anxious, the cold morning wind hitting my cheeks and brushing some strands of my thin light brown hair. Apart from that I began walking, letting the small path guide me to my grandmothers house which I missed. Grandmothers honey buns and warm milk with honey. It was an show of delicious flavors, her food was magical and always made me smile. Is amazing that I'm going to visit her after all this time but, I'm afraid of the beast interfering.

The fact of him haunting me and watching every step of mine scares me. He can be out there, searching for me and watching every step I take, every breathing I take or other things that don't have to be mentioned. My bond with the beast is unexplainable, I wished I could know if it happens to every girl, but I'm afraid it doesn't. Doubts. Questions with no answer. Thoughts without meaning. Everything holds down towards the beast. He started all this, with me, with my feelings and sensations.

I can't say I hate it, because I don't. His presence makes me feel safe, his scent makes me know he will be always around me and his eyes make me feel possessed. It's unnatural, something with no sense. The dream.

The dream.

The dream made me think, the beast. . .changed. He changed. He wasn't the black fur fearful beast, he was a human. Glorious and different from the ones I have seen, the males in the village weren't as muscly as him, weren't as breathtaking, nether attractive and incredibly handsome. I closed my eyes thinking of those green eyes directly looking at me, striding deep into my soul. But, his kiss. Those lips and his hands touching my body. Stop. . . Stop! My body began to tremble, my knees weakening and deep inside me something was burning. My insides sending me to a painful heat that I couldn't let go off. My hands grip the rocks that laid on the floor. As my breathing increased, my whimpers began to fill my surroundings. What is this? . . . No. . . Make it stop. . . Make it stop.

-"Ma'am are you alright?" Someone said worried and alert. My eyes fixed to dark brown ones, the man standing in front of me kneeling down and looking at my painful self. My strange sounds made him flick and blush. It was weird, my body was acting weird. –"ma'am let me help you" The guy said and he placed his hands on mine. I quickly flicked them back, feeling the painful shock hit me in the chest. Like if I was being punished by touching the man. What is this? Oh my god. . .

-"I'll bring help" He said, standing once again, but I quickly held his hand, feeling the punishing feeling inside me. –"No. I'm fine, just help me get up" I said, panting and looking up at him. He tensed up and I heard him gulp. His arms quickly fix around me, pulling me up and resting me against his chest to adjust at my feet. Once I did, I slowly push him away. He collects my basket and hands it to me, fixing a strand of my hair out of my face. –"What's your name?" He asks, caressing my cheek. His sudden action makes me feel the punishing shocks again. My face quickly flicks away his touch. I didn't want it. My body didn't want it, if he wasn't allowed to touch me.

-"That doesn't concern you" I said and quickly kept walking down the path. My feet pushing me to walk faster, I was running. Running away that man.

Once I was far away, the woods were becoming deep green colors, the signs of the other villages were ahead of me. I had to go towards Bosque Negro that's where grandmother was. In the dark woods, which are the most beautiful of them all. Despite the name, the nature and animals in those woods are majestic and strange for people, but grandmother seems to enjoy it after all this years.

I begin to walk through the dark woods, the light sunlight flashing through the leaves and branches. The tall trees above me and the vines hanging from them. The sound of the waterfall was heard from the distance, the birds singing above and the animals making the forest seem alive. My eyes couldn't leave my beautiful and majestic view. This is amazing, it relaxed me. Deep inside me I wanted to stop here and never go back home, just be one with the woods. I take a deep breathe and let the different scents fill my nostrils and fill my lungs. The peaceful sounds made me relax and stop thinking of things that disturbed me. The woods was my escape. My ultimate escape.

I keep myself standing there, enjoying the glorious view of this rare woods. Then, I begin to think about the beast. That dream kept me confused and disoriented of things, the sudden heat begun to invade my body again. Softly, I begin to breathe, the shocks of warmth and desire burning my muscles and my insides. Why is this happening to me? The thought of the man touching me made want something else, something I can't think of right now. No. Don't.

It was strange, something inhuman. I wanted a touch, I wanted something that even my own self would be surprised to think. The beast begins to invade my mind again, the heat burning my neck and cheeks, wanting something, craving something. Breathe. Breathe deeply and let it all out softly. I did, trying to relax myself and my hateful thoughts of the beast – the man of my dream, those eyes, his kisses and his touch. . .I was becoming mad.

My thoughts made me heat up even more that a sound escaped my lips, I quickly covered my mouth and regretted that vulgar sound. No. Not now. Not here.

Suddenly, a deep growl fills the woods, the birds flying away and the animals getting away the horrific sound. My insides exited at the sensation of him being close. I stay alert and stare back and forth for him, for the beast.

In the darkness a big figure showed up, but I realize that green eyes aren't staring at me. Silver dark eyes stare at me, my body quickly shaking at the nervousness of another beast. Who is he? He growls again and sniffles the air around him, his eyes darkening when he sees me. He launches towards me, but I quickly stand up upon my feet and run away. My blood boiling and my breath reducing itself at the feeling of being followed. Who is he? Oh my god. . . Oh my. . . I keep running, not carrying if he is following me or not but suddenly I hear other growl. My body shivers at the sound of it, but I don't stop. The woods flashed fast as I ran, the trees, the vines, the tall grass and small puddles of water. All I cared now is that I needed to run. Something inside me feeling fear and sadness. Don't stop running. Don't stop running.

Once I don't hear anything behind me I stop, my eyes looking back and nothing is there to scare me. My breathe increases and I feel myself taking deep breathes, trying to relax my shaking body. The heat faded away, leaving me with fear rushing through to my veins making me want to cry now, but before I know it I'm close to grandmothers. Her small house connected with a big tree. My eyes stare at the house in admiration. The vines with flowers everywhere making it look magical, the beautiful flowers planted everywhere. Also the sound of the water of the small pound she had, the small fishes jumping outside and back inside the clear water. This was magical.

I walk towards the door, the small entrance with pots of with flowers and a old rocking chair made me smile. Feeling safe. For now.

-"Grandmother?" I said, knocking against the door. I waited for some moments and heard sound coming from inside the house. The door opened and there stood my grandmother with a smile across her face, and the aroma of bread filling my nostrils. –"Oh my baby Jesus! Oh child I'm happy to see you again. But look at you!" She said, pulling me into a warm hug, her voice sounding happy and sad at the same time. –"Hello grandma" I smiled, her hands caressing the side of my face as she scanned me with her eyes. –"Oh dear, I never expected you to be here" She sobbed, hugging me again. –"I know grandma"I said, hugging her back and smiling against her shoulder. She pulls away and scans my face again and suddenly touches against my skin, her face quickly changes. –"Oh my dear, you're hot. Come inside I'll prepare the water so you can cool off" I walked inside the house and she shut the door behind me, the place was beautiful, jars with small flowers and some with alive animals filled the place. –"Your house is beautiful abuela" I smile, touching some of the jars and then notice an owl looking back at me, his yellow penetrating eyes scanning me and then flies towards me and then lands on my shoulder, rubbing his head against the side of mine. I giggle at the sweet owl.

-"Oh! Seems that he likes you dear" Grandmother smiles while collecting some water. I smile at her and caress the owls wings softly, not wanting to hurt him.

-"So, how are your parents dear?" She asks, entering another room and I hear her pour the water onto the tub. I follow her and I'm amazed by this room. The candles lighting the beauty of it. –"Wow" I said, and grandmother smiled my way. She collected some aromatic flowers and poured them on the water, the purple and pink petals floating against the clear water. –"I'm glad it is of your liking" The owl purred against my ear and flew towards grandmother. She laughed and caressed the owl resting on her finger. –"Go ahead dear, you'll talk to me about your parents later" She coughed and smiled back at me, quickly walking or of the room and pushing the large leaves covering the entrance.

The place was beautiful, grandmother must have been lucky after all these years. My eyes guide at the water, the soft petals floating and moving against the water. I removed my red hood, softly placing it on top of a chair, followed by my dirty clothes and boots. As my light brown hair cascades down my shoulders down to my waist my body felt heavily tired. Slowly, I sat on the tub and let the soft warm water relax my tense muscles. Thoughts faded away as I welcome the relaxing feeling of the water and aromatic flowers around me.

The beast. That man. That silver eyes wolf. The beast being human. What else could add up to those things? Now what? I'm going to become a fairy? Note the sarcasm, but what else can happen. Part of me misses him. . . Part of me wants him to be here. . . I can't explain why, but I want him with me. Then, the thought of the heat feelings around my body bursts again. Images that I can't believe actually came upon me flash on my mind again. That man. That man in my dream, the beast with me in that dream.

I'm insane.

But insane by the beast.

Grandmother is my escape now, being with her will push me away the beast and the things that surround him. Everything.

Hopefully.
