ALSO THIS IS UNEDITED

------

Wedding planning is no joke! It's been three days since our first meeting with Sophia and now I've seen her more than I've seen Dominic. Together, we managed to pick invitations, secure the castle location, discuss the layout of the ceremony and the reception, as well as sending gifts to my bridesmaids and Dominic's groomsmen. There was still a lot to do and unfortunately Bambina and Juliana went back to Milan so I had no additional support.

I had another meeting with Sophia later this afternoon without Dominic. He went on a day trip to Sicily with his father and his uncles and told me he wouldn't be back until late tonight. It was odd being alone in the estate but there was too much to do to miss Dominic.

Desperately craving a change in scenery, I moved all my work to Dominic's office. He has the best view of the back of the estate from his desk. There was much to do for my job at the real estate firm before I could worry about my wedding. The latest email I got, the construction for the home has already began and from the updates, they were moving quite fast. The ground was dug out for the basement and the foundation was being built for the main home. From the report, the main focus was on the main home and once that was complete, they could work on the additions to the property. Most of my job was completed. The remainder task was to send some inspiration photos for different rooms in the home. Although Mr. Gabbana has no interior designing department, he sent portfolios of work a sister company has done on his home for staging and full designing.

It was late afternoon when I finished looking through all the portfolios. There were so many to choose from but I complied a good arrangement of ideas and created a pdf for the Romanos before sending them my ideas.

There was a soft knock on the door as I was typing an update to Mr. Gabbana.

"Come in," I shouted.

The door opened ajar to reveal Liliana.

"Ms. Ally, Mrs. Sophia is here for your meeting." Liliana announced as she stuck her head through the ajar door.

"Thank you, bring her in!" I rushed to finish the remainder of the email as Sophia entered the room. She came dressed in a another black blazer suit but instead of black slacks she wore a cute mini skirt with red bottoms. Sophia strutted in with her large black suitcase and her iPad in hand. She took a seat on the couch in the middle of the room. As Sophia set up her binders and notes, I made sure I had everything completed before joining her on the couch.

"Today is going to making appoinments for all the things you and Dominic have to decide on." Sophia announced as I sat down beside her.

"What else needs to be decided?" To be honest, I couldn't remember half the things we've discussed and agreed on. There were so many details! Sophia deserves a nice bonus for all this work because I couldn't do it.

"The cake, menu, desserts, your dress and the bridesmaid dresses, the color scheme between you and Dominic and the groomsmen suits, your entrance, photographer, there is also the itinerary on how you want your day to go."

"Oh lord...shouldn't Dominic be here for this?" I asked worriedly. I hate making decisions without him. This is our day and it's clear that he does have opinions when it comes to planning.

"No no, we won't make big decisions and if you like something I can mention it in the email. Dominic requested a detailed summary of our meeting today."

See, Dominic does care about the wedding!  I knew he was lying when he said he didn't need to be involve with every detail. Sighing, I took the binder off Sophia's lap and began flipping through. We tackled the set ups for the ceremony and the reception. From the rsvp, we have about 150 out of 250 yes's. We agreed that a curved seating arrangement would be best for a large crowd. Sophia suggested we'd be mic so we can have speakers around the ceremony for people to hear. For the reception, we'll be inside but Sophia will set it up to make it feel like we're in rustic fairytale. The ceilings would be draped in white sheer drapes with twinkling falling lights falling from the ceiling. I want a classic yet rustic feel to the reception so the main colors I want to see is champagne, lilac, and white with small splash of maroon.

"You have to decide on what style dress you want. I called designer Alessandra Rinuado. She agreed to make your dress and be fully available to you until the day of your wedding. I hope that's okay, you mentioned you didn't have an exact image for your dream gown so I thought getting you the best designer would help."

A soft gasp was released from my lips when Alessandra Rinuado's name graced my ears. Her dresses were beautiful! I remember when my mama brought me around my older cousins dress fittings for her wedding when I was a young girl. She requested only Alessandra Rinuado dresses at the private fitting. They were so gorgeous and lovely done, it also helped that we shared the same first name. There was a dress my cousin tried on that was so beautiful, I remember it as clear as day. I would love for her to make my dress.

"I love her and would be honored!"

"Amazing! I've already spoke to Dominic about this but she is based in Milan so he's agreed for the both of you to fly down in two days so you can meet her and get your measurement. She won't have time to make yours and the bridesmaid dresses so I've contacted another designer Milano Styles. I've already set up the meeting with your bridesmaid so we're all good to go."

"Oh wow, I didn't expect to be going back home so soon."

I just left Milan and now I'm flying back?

"Yes you'll be spending quite some time flying there and back. Don't forget to look at inspirations for your dress. This first meeting is everything. God willing, we can have the design and materials decided so all she has to do is sow. I still have your measurements from the engagement dress so I sent that over to her."

"I know what I want my bridesmaid dress to look like but I guess I can keep thinking about mine."

"That's fine, you have two days to come up with something. Now we need to book a time for you and Dominic to do a food tasting. We have a few caterers coming with some dishes and we have a baker coming with samples of cake and desserts. Dominic said he was free tomorrow evening. You two can make a date out of it."

"Oh god, I don't want to be bloated for my fitting." I sighed.

"You'll have about 16 hours to digest all that food so eat small bites!" Sophia scolded. This is why rushing wedding planning is never a good idea.

"Alright what else is there?"

"The itinerary. How do you want your ceremony to go? Do you want a traditional ceremony or something specific to you and Dominic?"

I had to think for a long moment. Dominic and I never got the chance to speak about how we want our wedding. I'm not sure if he'd would like a traditional vows or wants to make it our own. This might've been a decision I could've made my own but I know Dominic is a picky person. Personally, vows from the heart feel more sentimental more than traditional. It's not everyday we can profess our love to each other during intimate emotional milestone.

"Table that but mention to Dominic that I would love for us to say our own vows. As for the length or the officiary, let's not make it last more than an hour; long weddings are boring. I don't care who officiates the wedding but no matter what style our ceremony is, I would love a church official to minister the wedding." There's something about old catholic values that bring back memories. Mama would bring us to church every Sunday growing up. I want something to symbolize those memories in my wedding."

"Good to know..." Sophia mumbled as she wrote down what I said.

We got a lot done in two hours. Although I wasn't able to decide on ceremony details or the itinery of the day, we set up meetings with the photography, catering, and the designers for my dress. Sophia left in a huff once we were done. She needed to meet with her decorators to discuss the details we went over. With all the hard work Sophia put in, we may have the best but shortest planned wedding in history!

Dominic didn't make it home until long after dinner when I had come out the shower ready for bed. I found him sitting on the edge of our bed reading something from his phone. He looked so focused, he didn't realize I entered the room. It wasn't until he felt the steam from the bathroom brush against his leg when he looked up.

He shot me a tired smile before nodding for me to come over. With the towel wrapped tightly against my body, I walked over to his warm inviting arms.

"Hmm...I missed you today." Dominic mumbled in between my breasts. He gave me a soft kiss on my chest before inhaling my scent loudly.

"I missed you. How was your day trip?" I asked as I wrapped my arms and legs around Dominic's body.

"Long but good. We found new areas to build warehouses. Did you get your work done today?"

"Yes I did. Did you get the email from Sophia about our meeting today?"

"I did, that's what I was reading." Dominic waved his phone and showed me the long email.

"So any thoughts?"

"I like the idea of making our own vows and a priest officiating our wedding. It would make my father happy to have some catholic element involved." Dominic whispered.

"Yeah I thought it would make mama happier too. Also, Sophia told me about Milan. Are you sure you can sacrifice the day to come with me? I don't mind flying alone. I could drive up there if you wanted me too."

"No I can spare a day for my fiancée."

I smiled at Dominic before leaning in for a long kiss. Seeing him after spending the day apart brought excitement to my body. We should spend more time apart because now all I want to do is rip his clothes off and go to town! My hands trailed down his silk shirt until they slipped under to touch his chiseled chest. The heat from his body felt so nice against my fingers. I brought my hands up and watched as his buttons popped open. When my hands reached to his shoulders, his shirt was open and hanging off his arms.

"Are you taking advantage of me, Ally?" Dominic whispered teasingly. His lips moved to my earlobe, his teeth biting it gently.

"Yes I am."
