"TAILSS!" Uday's team shouted. Meanwhile, Vivek's team was sulking.

"Luck is on our side today," Kaira said to them.

" Don't worry, soon we'll steal your luck," Aadarsh replied to Kaira, winking, and she just rolled her eyes.

" Ok, so Team Uday has won the toss, so tell us, Uday, what do you choose?" Yashvardhan asked Uday.

" Well, Umpire, we would like to do batting first," Uday declared.

" Ok, then call out your opening batsmen," Yashvardhan said.

" My opening batsmen will be Anahita and Kaira," Uday said, and they both squealed in excitement.

" Chachu shuru mein hi aap inhein bhej rahe hain?" Avyaansh whispered to Uday.

( Uncle you are sending them in the opening?)

" Arre weak players shuru mein hi out hojayenge to phir hum ladke pitch par tikke honge," Uday said, and Avyaansh nodded in understanding.

(Weak players get out in the beginning so that we boys will stay on the pitch till the end)

Anahita and Kaira came wearing their helmet, gloves, and other essentials.

" Ok, girls, All the best. I know you both are my best players," Uday said to them, and Avyaansh and Siddharth were controlling their smiles.

Meanwhile, Vivek was instructing his team on their positions." Reyaansh, you go for balling," Vivek said to Reyaansh.

" Par Dad pehli ball pe out karonga to Anu rone shuru hojayegi" Reyaansh said to Vivek.

(But Dad Anu will cry if I will get her out in the first ball)

" Ok phir kuch runs banane dena" Vivek said and Reyaansh nodded.

(Ok then let her make some runs)

Aadarsh was fielding behind the batsman. Anahita was ready for batting, and Kaira was the other batsman.

" Reyaansh bhai, please let me make some runs," Anahita pleaded.

" Yeah, Don't worry, we also don't want to handle your drama," Reyaansh said, and everybody laughed.

Yashvardhan whistled to make everyone stop. Everyone got attentive and Reyaansh threw the ball, but Anahita couldn't hit much hard. So they were only able to make one run.

And now Kaira was the one batting.

" All the best," Aadarsh said to Kaira.

" As if you mean it," Kaira said, rolling her eyes.

" I do," He said with sincerity in his eyes.

Reyaansh was ready to ball, other players were also ready. As Reyaansh threw the ball, Kaira slightly hit the ball and started to run.

But Vivek got the ball, threw it to Aadarsh, and hit the wicket without realizing anything.

Kaira was declared as run out." I knew it, you didn't mean it. You are just a fake person, Mr. Aadarsh," she said angrily,y, referring to the ' All the best'.

She had tears in her eyes, and Aadarsh was cursing himself for being the reason for them.

Avyaansh was consoling Kaira as she was sad. " Siddharth, now you go next," Uday said, and he nodded.

Siddharth went to the pitch. " Mr. Akdu play well and don't get out soon, ok?" Anahita said to him. He just nodded while smiling, because he was finding her very cute in that white outfit, she was looking like a little bunny, he thought.

Siddharth played very well during the over. Now in the next over baller was Preeti and the one to bat was Anahita.

As Preeti threw the ball, Anahita hit that with the full force and it was caught by Vivek.

Anahita was whining as she got catch out. Avyaansh was sent next as the batsmen.

" Oh shit" he muttered, looking at Preeti he forgot that Preeti was on the pitch.

Preeti was ready to throw the ball, but Avyaansh couldn't focus at all. He was just looking at her and she threw the ball, he missed the shot. Just like that, the whole over Avyaansh didn't hit the ball one time.

Everyone was shocked and confused as to why Avyaansh was playing like that.

" Kya kar raha hai Avyaansh? Dheyaan kidhar hai tera?" Uday asked him.

(What are you doing Avyaansh? Where are you lost?(

" Wo chachu ball hi itni tez se aaraha hai mein kya karon?" He said.

(That uncle the ball was so fast so I couldn't handle it)

Now Aadarsh was the baller and this time Avyaansh was fully attentive.

Aadarsh threw the ball and Avyaansh hit that upwards for a sixer.

The ball was coming in the direction of Disha with complete force. She knew that she would not be able to catch it. She was just frozen at her place.

The ball was going to hit her face, when someone pulled her and she fell on that person. She opened her eyes to see Reyaansh beneath her.

For a moment, they forgot everything but eventually came back to their senses. They both stood up " Are you fine?" Reyaansh asked her and she nodded.

" What were you doing, you are supposed to catch the ball not just stand and wait for that to hit your face" he said angrily, Disha looked down and muttered a 'sorry'.

" But why did you come to rescue me, see your elbow has got scrapped to the ground" she said looking at his scratch on the elbow.

" I didn't understand anything, i just knew that the ball was going to hit you nothing else" he said looking at her eyes. They both were looking at her, when as usual the coughing voices disturbed.

" Ok i think everything is fine, so should we continue the game?" Yashvardhan asked and they all continued.

Just like that, the game was going perfectly, the tuning between Avyaansh and Siddharth was amazing. They made many runs together.

After two more overs, Siddharth also got out, then Uday himself came to play. He also played very well being the most experienced one.

So in total, Uday's team made 112 runs.

Now it was Vivek's team batting turn, Aadarsh and Preeti were the opening batsmen.

" Preeti di just hit the ball and run, but be careful of being run out" Aadarsh instructed Preeti.

Avyaansh was going to ball, Aadarsh was going to ball and Preeti was the other batsmen.

" Doctor to app bohut achi hain, dekhte hain batting bhi utni achi karti hain ya nahi" Avyaansh said to Preeti smirking.

(Well as a doctor you are very good, now let's see if your batting is also good like that)

" Dekh lena" Preeti replied and Avyaansh's smile grew wider. That's when Yashvardhan coughed to get his attention.

( Then see)

" Aap balling pe focus karein to acha hoga" he said Avyaansh.

(If you'll focus on the balling that would be nice)

Just like that this over was finished, Aadarsh and Preeti did a good job. But in the next over Siddharth bowled Preeti.

Disha was sent next for batting, she also played well. But during the last ball of that over, Aadarsh was caught out by none other than Kaira.

" Finally i took my revenge from you" She said to Aadarsh, but he wasn't sad at all he was more than happy to be catch out by her. Kaira was confused looking at his smile.

Reyaansh was now sent to the place of Aadarsh, and he was a very good Player in every sport.

So he proved it once again by showing his amazing skills.

Disha also got run out after some balls, now their score was 86. Vivek came to the pitch.

The father-son duo played very well and getting 26 runs wasn't a big deal for them. So they completed the task and won.

Team Vivek was very happy at the win. Disha was hugging everyone at the excitment that she didn't realize when she hugged Reyaansh. She muttered ' sorry' to him but he was frozen.

Avyaansh came to Preeti, "Congratulations" he said taking out his hand for her to shake. She smiled and shook her hand with his " Thank you, and you guys did play well" she said and Avyaansh was a goner now, for the first time she said something to him with a smile.

If this is the price i would get by losing everything in life, then i accept every defeat happily. He thought.

" Mr. Akdu you should have played more good, see now we lost" Anahita whined.

" I should have played well!? Says the one, who is half the size of the bat" Siddharth said.

" Excuse me? What do you mean by that?" She asked putting her hands on her waist.

" Nothing" he said then went away.
