Author's POV

Everyone were in the living room, chit-chatting about Random things.

" Dekha chote, hara diya na tujhe aaj bhi, prove hogaya aakhir ke bada bhai kya hota hai or chota kya hota hai" Vivek said, taunting Uday. Which he was doing again and again since the match.

( See how you lost today, it got proven what is an elder brother and what's younger)

" Bhaiya wo to hamara khoon ka rishta hai beech mein aagaya tha, bade bhai ho aap mere, chote bhai haarte to kya impression parhta aapka? Isliye jeetne diya aapko" Uday said, defending his defeat.

( Brother that you are my elder brother, that's why I made you win, otherwise what would be your impression if you had lost to your younger brother)

" Ohooo, Mahaan Uday Singhania sahab" Vivek said and everyone laughed.

(The legend Uday Singhania!)

" To chaliye Reema ji, Sheetal ji ab hum chalte hain," Shweta said, getting up.

(We'll get going, Reema and Sheetal)

" No, no, beta, why don't you all stay for tonight? Tomorrow is the weekend anyway," Yashvardhan said to Shweta.

" Nahi nahi acha nahi lagta, Disha ka sasural hai" Shweta said.

( No it doesn't seem nice, this is Disha's in-laws house)

" Disha ka sasural nahi, uska ghar hai, or Disha ke ghar mein aap ek din nahi reh sakte" Sheetal said, making Shweta think.

( This is Disha's home, not her in-laws house and can't you stay at her home for a day)

Shweta looked at Siddharth; he also nodded. Then Shweta also agreed. Everyone got happy about this.

Now, the elders were in the living room, and the youngsters were on the terrace.

" Guys, let's play somethin',g," Anahita said.

" Itna to khela hai, ab or kitna khelein?" Aadarsh said.

( We already played so much, what else is there?)

" I mean a game which could be played by sitting," Anahita said.

" What about Antakshri? Kaira suggested.

" Oh no, it's very boring," Aadarsh said, and Kaira rolled her eyes.

" Then Dumb charades?" Avyaansh said, and everyone agreed.

" Let's do Girls vs. boys," Anahita said.

They all sat, Girls on one side and boys on the opposite side.

" Ok, so, ladies, first," Aadarsh said.

Kaira came first to make her team understand the movie. The boys were discussing, what movie to give.

After some moments, they decided, and Aadarsh came forward to tell the movie.

He came close to her and whispered slowly in her ear, ' Maine Pyaar Kiya as if saying that sentence, but she turned to her girls.

It was easy for her, she just did the hook step of a song from that movie, and they got a point.

Now it was the boy's turn; Aadarsh was going to make his team guess the movie. The girls decided on the movie.

Kaira came towards him and whispered,' Rehna hai tere dil mein,' and his heart skipped a beat, But he composed himself.

He started to act heartbroken looking hell funny, copying the song ' sach keh raha hai dewana' from that movie. Avyaansh guessed it, and they got a point.

Disha came from the girl's team for the turn. The boys selected the movie and pushed Reyaansh to tell Disha.

He took steps towards her and whispered ' Hum Saath Saath Hain' in her ears.

Disha was pointing towards Preeti, and acting like Preeti( a character from that movie). Anahita guessed it right.

Now they forced Siddharth for the turn, because he was hesitating a lot, but gave up eventually.

Anahita came towards him, she was trying to reach his ear but couldn't because of her height.

" Could you please send a little, Mr. Lambu?" she said with sarcasm, making him frown. Then she pulled his bicep downward, then he understood her words.

( Mr. Tall)

She whispered, ' Hum aapke hain kaun', then went to her place. He easily did the hand gestures and they guessed it.

Now it was Preeti's turn from the girls. Avyaansh came smirking, taking his steps towards her. He wishpered 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' tum nahi samjhogi.

The girls got this point also and won the game. They were teasing the boys, but they were more than happy to lose against their girls, except Siddharth; he didn't care about their loss in any of the games.

It was midnight now, and after having dinner, they all went to their rooms. Shweta and Preeti in one guest room and Siddharth in another. Meanwhile Kaira with Anahita.

Siddharth's POV

God,I wish I had brought my sleeping pills,; now,how am i going to get sleep tonight??

I had this problem since i was 14, that was when my insomnia started. I never consulted any doctor, because sleeping pills were helping me sleep throughout the years.

But because of this sudden night stay, I don't have my sleeping pills. It was 12:00 AM. Maybe if i go in the fresh air then I can feel sleepy.

I exited the room then went downstairs slowly trying not to make any noise. I came into the garden and sat on a bench.

I was looking upstairs in the sky full of stars. I remembered my mom, whenever i wouldn't feel sleepy, she would tell me bed stories or just make me sleep in her lap and pat my head slowly, i would feel sleepy in just a few minutes.

I blinked the tears threatening to welled up in my eyes. I was thinking about my mother. When i felt something soft poking my shoulder.

I wasn't in the mood to face anyone, so i didn't turn. But the next moment Anahita appeared in front of me.

" Gosh Mr. Akdu i thought there was some ghost or something sitting here, I got scared as hell!" she said settling beside me with a packet of chips in her hand. She was wearing a white simple night suit, again looking like a bunny.

" By the way, what are you doing here at this time?" She asked munching her chips.

" Couldn't sleep" i said.

" Oh i was here for my late night craving you know" she said showing me her potato chips. She offered me but i refused.

" So looking at a starry night, makes you sleepy?" She asked.

" No, it reminds me of my mother, i miss her" i said in a low voice. I don't know why i was sharing this with her, but i felt like it.

" Wherever she is right now, she is very proud of you. The way you have handled everything alone, you have been the best brother to Disha bhabhi, your mother must be very happy and proud" Her words unknowingly made me feel peaceful.

I looked at her, she was giving me a soft smile. I also gave her a small smile.

" Thank you for your words, Anahita" i said.

" Anytime" she said sweetly.

I stood up and wished her good night, she also wished me back. I went in the room, and didn't realize when sleep consumed me.

Avyaansh's POV

It was currently 2 AM and i couldn't sleep, Reason? The girl who is sleeping in the room next to mine. Without any clue, but today was really one of the best days of my life.

She was with me for the whole day, but the bad part is even though we are on the same roof since morning, i couldn't have a alone talk with her.

Even at dinner i couldn't get the chance. At least i can go into her room and see her. I know it is creepy, but i can't help it.

I came out of my room, and looked at the door beside my room. I took very slow steps towards her room. I was going to touch the knob, that's when the door opened.

I closed my eyes, thinking what to tell Shweta Aunty what i was doing in front of their room. But then i heard a soft and low voice.

" What were you doing outside our room?" I opened my eyes, to see my angel. Glowing even in her sleepy state.

She snapped her fingers to get me out of my trance, i looked at her, she had raised her eyebrows in a questioning manner.

" Actually i heard a strange voice, that's why i came to check, if anything's wrong" i lied. She frowend.

" What kind of voice?" she asked.

" As if someone was calling aliens" i said and she gave me a look, like i was some alien.

" You must be dreaming" she said.

" I also think that, by the way why were you coming outside? Do you need something?" I asked about changing the topic.

" Yes, i wanted to drink water" she said.

" Oh it's in the kitchen, come I'll get you" i said and she followed me.

God now i don't have any complaints. Thank you so much.

We entered the kitchen, i got her cold water from the fridge, pouring it in a glass, and I handed it to her.

She took it and our hands brushed against each other. Now iIwas blushing like a girl, but she didn't seem to care.

She gulped the water and left saying a "thank you' to me.

It is the best day EVER.
