Preeti's POV

After Avyaansh dropped me to the hospital, i rushed in there. My colleagues were asking me, why was i dressed up like that but, i ignored them saying i have an emergency.

It was an accident case of a 9 year old child. I don't do surgeries yet as i am still a junior. So i put stitches to the child then put the band aid on his other wounds.

As i exited the room, my colleague and a good friend Anjali came to me.

" Girl you are looking awsome" she said to me with a smile.

" Thank you" i said, then my senior told me that i don't have any other case. I quickly rushed out, to grab a taxi.

Then my eyes fell on a familiar car, there was Avyaansh leaning against the car, busy in his phone. Was he waiting for me all along?

I went to him, as he noticed me a big smile adorned his face. Now i have started to look at him in other ways.

He has a nice physique, with muscles and all.

His looks are also like those models in magazine. And not to forget the way he looks at me, there is something different emotion present in his eyes, which i can't point out.

" You came?" He said putting his phone in his pocket.

" Why didn't you go back?" I asked.

" Well.. i wanted to pick you up, but you didn't tell me when would you get free, so i thought to just wait for you here" he said casually like he didn't wait for almost 2 hours.

" So shall we go?" He asked, i nodded. He opened the door for me. Then after settling on our seats we head towards his- no our home.

Author's POV

They reached home at 6 PM. Whole family was sitting at the living room. Gents in tv lounge and ladies in the kitchen.

Preeti joined them in the kitchen.

" Preeti you came?" Said Disha smiling, preeti nodded.

" What are you guys making?" Asked Preeti.

" We were deciding what to make for evening snacks" Sheetal replied.

" Should i make cupcakes?" Preeti said.

" Yes yes, Preeti makes the yummiest cupcakes ever" Said Disha.

" Ok beta, your pehli rasoi will also be done like that" Reema said.

After that Sheetal and Reema, gave her the essentials for making the cupcakes. Preeti started making the cupcakes with the help of Disha.

After some time, " What is this, Sheetal? Our daughters are doing work alone in the kitchen" Vivek said.

" Preeti wanted to make something special for you all by herself, that's why we are here and Disha is helping her" Sheetal replied.

Avyaansh got excited for eating the first dish made by his wife.

" Preeti they smell amazing" Disha said to Preeti.

" I hope everyone will like it" Preeti said.

" Like? They will love it!" Disha said.

Then they brought the tasty cupcakes for everyone.

Everyone knew already that they are gonna taste amazing just by it's smell.

Avyaansh took the cupcake first, everyone laughed at this.

" What? My wife has made it" he said, Preeti blushed hearing this. How could he say this in front of everyone? She thought.

They all eat the cupcakes and praised her.

" Bhabhi they are perfect" Aadarsh said.

" Aadarsh bhai, leave for me also" Anahita whined.

" No my wife has made it, so I'll eat more" Avyaansh said.

Everyone were quarrelling, when Uday got the chance, he was going to grab the last cupcake. When Yashvardhan took it, and put the whole of it in his mouth.

Everyone were looking at him with shock. He just shrugged and went away from there. Others also left for their room.

Reyaansh's POV

After we came to our room, Disha settled herself on her bed, and started reading the book.

Then i remembered something, i smirk then said " I didn't know you were scared of cockroaches" i said with a smirk.

" Yes and I don't feel ashamed of accepting my fear, everyone have their own fears, like i do. Are you not afraid of anything?" She said, i must say this, she talks nonstop. In earlier days of our marriage, she wouldn't speak just use to nod but now she doesn't stop, but i love to hear her.

" No, i am not scared of anything" i said truly.

" You don't!?" She asked shockingly. I nodded in negative.

" Height?" I denied.

" Darkness?" I denied.

" Lizards?" I denied.

She was looking at me like i was some alien. Then an mischief came in my mind, i shouted " COCKROACH"

She screamed and came to my bed, hiding behind me. I laughed so hard at her reaction. She was looking so cute. I couldn't control my laugh.

" You look so good when you laugh" she said with a smile.

" Thank you for making me laugh" i said.

Preeti's POV

It was midnight, after having dinner with everyone. We came to sleep. Avyaansh insisted on sleeping on the wooden swing in his room. It was big enough for a person to sleep.

We agreed on taking turns. Right now he has slept and i couldn't sleep. I was thinking about how my life has changed in just a day.

But i am lucky to get this family as in-laws. I will try to become the best daughter-in-law for them and a good wife for Avyaansh.

As i looked at him, his blanket had fallen over and he was kinda shivering because of the AC temperature.

I went towards him, i took the blanket and out it over him, but before i could take my hand away, he held it close to his chest, hugging it. I was trying to take it out but he pulled it more, making me fall on him.

Avyaansh's POV

I didn't know what was happening, i was feeling chilled but after some time i felt something warm so i hugged it, but it was going away so pulled it more, that's when i felt weight over me.

I opened my eyes and saw the most beautiful view, my wife. She was close to me and the feeling was undescribable, moonlight was falling over her face, making it more glowy.

" I..i was making you wear the blanket, because you were feeling cold, but then you hugged my hand and before i could pull it you pulled me" she said nervously, I wanted to laugh at her expression and kiss her cheeks that were red because of blushing.

But then an idea came in my mind. She was trying to stand but her nuptial chain was stuck with the button of my shirt.

" I know what you were trying to do" i said with a fake hurt expression.

" What" she said in low voice and i was controlling my smile.

" You..you were trying to take advantage of your sleeping husband" i said putting my hands on my chest dramatically. She was shocked.

" No no you are misunderstanding, i was trying to help, i would never try to make you uncomfortable!" she was explaining, God! Did she really thought i have felt uncomfortable. I am all hers, she can do anything she wants to do with me.

" A man is not safe with a woman alone" i played along.

" It's not like that" she said and i couldn't control more, so i burst in laughter, we were still stuck because of her nuptial chain.

" Did you seriously believed that" i said between my laughter.

" You were acting all along?" She asked, still she didn't know.

" Yes" i said, and she angrily took her nuptial chain out of my button, then went to her bed.

" I was so scared, that i really made you uncomfortable, but you were joking" she said in anger.

" I am sorry, i was just joking" i said holding my ears.

" It's ok, but don't do this again" she said warning me.

" Ok my cupcake" i said, she again blushed. I went to my swing and slept with a smile.
