Siddharth's POV

I just returned from the office, and there is a business party in the office as our company completed it's 50th anniversary.

Everyone in my office got to know that i got married, so all of them insisted on bringing my wife to the party. But first I'll ask Anahita, only if she's comfortable then I'll take her, i don't want to force her.

She was in the living room studying, i know she was waiting for me. It feels good to know that there is someone waiting for me at home.

Now i know, why all my married  co-workers go home early. I also feel like going home early only for her.

" You came" She said with a smile, after noticing my arrival.

" Why are you home early tonight?" She asked after looking at the clock. Now what do i tell her?

" A-actually i wanted to tell you something important, that's why" i said making up.

" Oh what is it?" She asked.

" There is a party in my office, on the occasion of the company's 50th anniversary, and everyone wants me there with my wife" i said

" Alright, we'll go together" she said.

" Anahita it's ok, if you are not comfortable, don't force yourself because of me" i said

" Why would I force myself? I do want to come and see my husband's workplace, do you have any problem?" She said. How does she always make my heart warm?

" No, I don't have any problem" i said with a smile. In fact i eagerly want her to come.

On every business parties, my colleagues come with their wives, i was always a loner. But i think not anymore.

Anahita's POV

Soon the weekend arrived, Siddharth's eyes literally sparking with happiness on the thought of us going there.

When he had asked me to come there, his face held hope for me to say yes. So how would i deny?

The moment i said we'll go, he looks happy, but doesn't show it. I want him to express all his feelings to me, everything he is feeling happiness, anger, sadness every emotions. I am his wife, his other half i deserve to know everything. I'll talk to him about this after the party.

Right now i have got ready for the party, Siddharth had already got ready and waiting for me outside.

God he is looking so handsome in that suit, i just hope no girl eyes on my man. How did i get so lucky to get a man who is so good by looks and heart also, he is literally a full package.

He averted his gaze from his watch and looked at me with so much of intensity in his eyes, i was looking at him with the same amount of intensity.

We were lost in each other's eyes, when his phone rang. He muttered something under his breath after averting his gaze from mine.

" Yeah, we are just coming" he said on the phone.

" Shall we?" He asked after ending the phone call. I nodded my head and we  both exited to go to the venue.

After a drive of 30 minutes we reached the venue. He got out of the car, and came to my side to open the door.

I smile at his chivalry, and got out of the car. I held his bicep before going inside, i felt his breath hitched but he composed himself.

We entered inside the party, i didn't expect this party to be this lavish. Soon an elder couple to us, and Siddharth met that person.

" Good to see you here Siddharth" he said.

" Same here sir, and meet my wife Anahita" Siddharth introduced me to them, i smiled and muttered a thank you.

" Anahita he is my boss, Mr. Abhay Chopra and she is his wife Mrs. Poonam Chopra" Siddharth said.

" Congratulations Sir on the 50th anniversary of your company" i said to them.

" Your welcome child, Siddharth I must say your wife is very pretty" Mr. Chopra said, and Siddharth proudly smiled.

" Yes and you both also look very good with each other, may God always bless you both" Mrs. Chopra said, and we both smiled, but her next statement both of us flushed as tomato!

" And Abhay don't you think their children are going to be very cute" she said, but then looking at our reaction they both laugh.

Then after meeting some of his colleagues, Siddharth was taken away by some of his friends and i was standing alone.

After standing alone for sometime i felt someone calling me.

" Anu, is that you!?" I looked behind and saw Naman, my school buddy who left the school because of his father's transfer to another country.

" Nammu, how are youu!?" I asked him, and hugged him.

" I have taken over my father's company, and this party is hosted by our new investor, and what about you?" He asked.

" I see, you are a big man now, well i am here with my husband" i said

" What! You got married?" He asked and i nodded, but before i could call Siddharth to him, someone called him and he left.

Then a man holding Siddharth came towards me, i got panicked looking at him. " What happened to him?" I asked the man.

" Bhabhi i think when you were talking to that guy, he got jealous and drank alot of shots" the man said pointing towards Naman.

What he got jealous!? Oh God i didn't know my husband was a possessive type of man.

" We'll leave then, I'll take him home" i said holding Siddharth from his waist and keeping his hands to my shoulder.

By alot of struggle, i somehow managed to take Siddharth to the parking lot, and made him sit on the passenger seat.

I sat on the driving seat, and started driving. " Why did you hug that man?" He said in a sad childish tone.

" Because he is my old friend" i said smiling at his jealousy.

" But you never hugged me" he said.

" Do you want me to hug you" i asked.

" Yes, you are my wife. You should only hug me" he said like a child, i smiled thinking it's just alcohol effect.

" Ok, I'll only hug you now, happy?" I said and he nodded smiling.

" You know, you are looking very beautiful tonight, this saree suits you alot" he said making me blush.

" But you complimented others not me, am i not looking good?" He asked.

" No no you are looking very handsome today" i said like i am talking to a baby.

Soon we reached home, i took him to the our room, and made him lay down on the bed.

I removed his shoes, watch and blazer, and changed my clothes also,

And lay beside him.

Suddenly i felt someone pulling me, and it was Siddharth. Now i was laying on his chest.

" You know, you are a very good person Anu, you made my life colorful with your presence. No one made me feel like ,that there is someone supporting me, but you. You are like that fairy, from Cinderella. Who changed my life, and made it worth living for. My mom was also like that in my life, but she left me. You promise me, that you'll never leave me.

I looked at him, with teary eyes. His eyes were barely open. His each word made me feel special. How much i love this drunk version of his.

" Never, Sid. I'll never leave you, even if you said"

" Stupid, why would i tell youto leave me?" He said, making me chuckle.

Tonight is the best night of our relationship.
