Next week

As Alessandro was busy in solving the Mafia issue, he wasn't able to spend time with his Bella and family last whole week.

He misses his stella, her talks, giggles and cuddles but he can't do anything.

He was trying to solve this issue as soon as possible so he can spend this weekend with his family but still it was taking time.

Bella was missing him so much. She was asking constantly about his whereabouts as he wasn't present last whole week, now this week also he is missing.

Alessandro used to call her but they only talked for few minutes. He sensed the sadness in her tone whenever they talked. It takes his whole strength to not come to home and hug her tight.

His dad even threatened him to finish his work as early as possible because he can't see his beautiful wife and sweet daughter sad.

Amelia was also worried for him as he hasn't visited home for more than a week. She knows he will be ok but still a mother's heart can't be stop from worrying.

A mother is very beautiful relationship in the world. She on the daily basis take care of her family and in return she expects nothing. Even sometimes we disrespect her, she becomes sad but doesn't complain about it. She sacrifices her dreams and make her children her priority. She for 9 months carry her child in her womb, her body goes under so many changes but still she accepts all this with a smile. Even we become old and mature, we ourselves become parents but she don't stop worrying about us. That's the love of a mother.

We should respect our mothers.

We may, can't give her the world but we can show her, make her feel that she meant the world for us.

Bella was very sad and her family tried to cheer her mood. She smiled for them but whenever she was alone she used to miss him so much. Even in school her mood was a bit gloomy, but whenever one of her friend asked her, she brushed it off with a smile.

They know she isn't going to tell them, it's not she doesn't trust them, it's just she doesn't want to make them sad.

It was a Wednesday night, everyone was sleeping peacefully in their room, Bella was also sleeping in her room, when suddenly she woke up due to bad dream.

She picked her teddy and out of habit she was on the way to Alessandro's room.

Whenever her mood is not good or she had nightmares while sleeping alone in her room, her first priority would be Alessandro's room not even her parents room but Alessandro's, that why Alessandro never locked his door in night.

When she was midway she stopped as she remembered aless was not in the house. Her lips gets wobbly.

Meanwhile Domenico who came back from their Mafia base, was surprised to see Bella standing in the hallway with her teddy, Mr. Cuddles which was given by his dad when she was just a new few weeks old.

When he noticed her wobbly lips, he knew she was going to cry so, he ran to her and engulfed her in a hug.

Bella after recognizing the familiar warmth of her second eldest brother leaned onto his chest more and shed a few tears.

"What happened my darling, why you standing here at this time? Just tell me what happened. You know na I can't see your tears." Domenico asked in a soft voice but when he felt his shirt wet due to her tears, he asked the reason of her crying in a panicked voice.

Listening to his voice,all the frustration of the week burst out and she started crying more.

When he looked at her face and saw more tears, he knew something bad happened because Bella don't cry over little things, only when she is hurt (physically and emotionally) badly or when she sees her family hurt.

He gently wiped her tears, picked her up and took her inside his room. He sit on the bed and with Bella on his lap.

He kept rubbing her back and whispering soft words to her until she stopped crying and her sobs subside down.

When Domenico felt she had calmed down, he first made her drink a glass of water which was present on his bedside table. After he made her drink, he asked her,"what happened darling, why were you crying and standing in the middle of the hallway?"

She looked at him and answered while sniffing,"I had a bad dream and I went to Aless room. I remembered he not there. I missed him, I become sad and cried."

Domenico understands her sister that she was missing her brother. When she had nightmare and went to his room for comfort and not finding him there acted as a trigger to her which leads to her cry.

Domenico just hugged her and asked her about the nightmare.

Bella with a serious expression replied to him,"I had a dream. I'm in the big garden with big big strawberries everywhere. Suddenly a big strawberry came and opened its mouth. It has very big teeth and was trying to eat me. I was running and it was chasing me and then I woke up." Bella rambled to him with all the hand gestures.

"Of course she will have the nightmare of strawberries, for her they are monsters."Domenico thought while internally rolling his eyes.

Like most kids who love strawberries and its sweet sour taste, Bella doesn't like them.

"Don't worry, if strawberry chases you again. I will eat them." Domenico said to her.

"Like a monster who eats babies? But you are no monster. You are really sweet and cute." Bella questioned him and then replied to her own question.

For her, her brothers are really sweet and weak who can't even hurt a fly. They need her to protect them as she always says to them that she will protect them.

Whenever she behaves like that, her brothers always have amusement in their eyes and adoration for their sister because of her love for them.

Therefore, they always act like they need her protection as they can't make or see her sad.

Domenico smirked at her answer.

"Oh my lil darling, you don't know I'm a monster but not the one who eats babies. But the one who will save you and hunt down all your monsters." Domenico said to her but he was not only referring to the strawberries in her dream but to everyone who will try to harm her darling.

Bella become happy that her big bro will save her from the strawberry monster as according to her he was talking about it and in excitement she pecked him on the lips.

Domenico momentarily froze when she pecked him. Who has thought the big bad mafia who stays away from all the girls except for his family will lose his first kiss to his baby sister.

He composed himself and said to her, "did you kissed someone before?"

Bella replied,"oh ho silly Nico monster, I kiss dada, mumma, Aless prince(yeah he is prince as when she has asked him to be his prince charming when they danced after that she often called him that) Ian Bear(Kill-ian, bear because he gives the best hugs and cuddles), Mar-Mar -" she was saying when she was cut off by Domenico.

He smirked when she called her Nico monster (normal people will feel offended when they will be called a monster but he took it as pride to be called a monster, yeah you're right he isn't normal) and then he asked her,"no baby not that kiss, like you kiss me on my lips."

She become shy and have a pink tint on her rosy, chubby cheeks and replied,"no"

Domenico cooed at how adorable she was looking and replied,"now you will not kiss anyone on lips ok"

She happily replied,"ok" and leaned on his chest as she was feeling sleepy.

He kissed her head, removed his shirt and laid on the bed properly with Bella on his chest.

Bella slept peacefully listening to the heartbeats and feeling safe in the arms of his big brother.

Domenico also mentally made a note to take to Alessandro's first thing in the morning as he can't see his sister sad.

He kissed his head again and fell into a peaceful slumber.

Next morning

Amelia and Francesco woke up from their sleep. After freshening up, they went to Bella's room as she was sleeping in her room.

When they didn't find her there, they decided to check her brother's room because whenever she slept alone in her room, next day she woke up in her one of brother room, mostly Alessandro's.

First when it happened they were panicked for not finding in her room but now they are habitual to it. So they decided to find her.

They didn't went to Alessandro's room as he wasn't present in the house. They first check Marcello's room, then Killian's and lastly Domenico's.

They entered his room quietly, being in the Mafia made them light sleeper and they didn't want to disturb his sleep.

They saw Domenico and Bella cuddling with each other. Bella's arms were around Domenico's neck and his face was in the crook of his neck.

They both were sleeping soundly without the care of the world.

Their parents smiled looking at them and clicked their pictures. They walked out from there silently.

It was around 8 in the morning when Domenico stirred from his sleep.

He looked down to see Bella was sleeping on his chest sprawled like a starfish. He chuckled softly and kissed her forehead. He knew just because of Bella in her arms he was able to sleep this late or else he would have woken up at 5 in morning.

He caressed her hairs softly and said, "darling woke up. It's time for breakfast."

After calling her, two or three times Bella woke up from her sleep. She sleepily rubbed her eyes but Domenico stoped her to do so.

"Coco (she sometimes calls Nico, coco), can I take bath with you?" Bella asked him after getting rid of sleepiness from her eyes.

Nico replied,"Sure my lil darling, let's give you a bath and get ready."

He took her to bathroom. He prepared a bath for themselves with bath salts and some bubbles and removed Bella's clothes and his own clothes except for his boxers.

First he made her sit in the tub then, he himself settled inside in front of her.

He put some shampoo on his own and her hairs. Bella started playing with her hairs. Suddenly something came in her mind.

She looked at him with her innocent doe eyes and made a puppy face which no one can resist.

When Domenico looked at her, he knew he is stuck now because whenever Bella wants her brothers to do something, she would make that face so they don't say no to her.

"Can I play with your hairs?" Bella asked him.

Nico internally groaned because he knew now the bath is going to extend till late and he don't like when someone touches his hairs except for Bella.

He responded positively because he can't see her upset again after last night.

Bella squealed and started making hair styles. She was very happy and there was a smile on her face which automatically brought a smile on Nico's face.

After making dozens of styles, Nico washed her and himself as water was getting cold.

He wrapped a towel around himself first and then wrapped Bella in a towel like burrito and went in the room.

He then went to his walk in closet and selected an outfit for himself and Bella.

All brothers have made a space in their wardrobe for Bella which they have filled it according to their own choice.

His gaze went to a matching outfit, which he newly bought and thought to wear it today.

Bella was wearing a black sweatshirt type dress with black shorts underneath which were not visible and Domenico was wearing same sweatshirt with black jeans.

When they both went downstairs, their family was already present except for Alessandro. There was a smile on Bella's face which made everyone smile as she wasn't smiling like this for a few days.

When Marcello saw them, he protested that why they were matching and didn't include him.

He was whining when Nico smack on his head and said to stop sulking.

He grumbled on his seat that how it is unfair and all. Everyone ignored him as it was not new for them except for Bella who gave him a kiss on his cheek as she can't see her brother sad.

They had breakfast in peace. Bella went to her school with Domenico.

After dropping Bella to school, Nico went to their Mafia base to talk with Alessandro.

When Domenico reached he saw Alessandro working in his yesterday's clothes and there were many cups of coffee on his table and dark circle under his eyes told him that his older brother was not sleeping peacefully nowadays.

How can he, when he hasn't saw his Stella for more than 5 days, didn't cuddle with her and hear her giggles.

For them, Bella isn't just their baby sister. She is their peace and sanity.

Domenico went to him and told him about the yesterday incident. When he heard his princess was crying alone in the hallway because he wasn't present there.

There was rage inside him but when Nico told him that he had handled the situation.

He calmed down a bit but still there was anger and guilt he was feeling for not being there for his sister.

Nico made him understand that it's wasn't his fault but still he was not feeling good.

Let's see how Alessandro will make up to bella.

I know in most stories eldest brothers are more favorite but I want to add some other brothers moments also.
