Chapter 44: FORTY-FOUR
Her Possessive Alpha
The banishment Vivian and Ria entered Lucasâs room and went on their knees immediately. The only thing they could pray for is that nothing happened to the masterâs mate. Else, they were dead for sure.
Ria turned and gave Vivian a slap as soon as their knees touched the cold hard ground.
Vivian held her burning cheeks, and didnât even wait to ask why she did what she did, she proceeded to give three times as much as Ria did on her face and that was how the fight broke out between the two ladies. By the time Lucas had entered, the two of them had almost ripped their clothes off completely, giving each other bite marks and tugging at each otherâs hairs with so much force that made the other squeal.
The two of them stopped, panting immediately they spotted him.
âLook at the both you. No shame at all,â Lucas snarled. âYouâre still fighting even after everything thatâs happened. None of you have even bothered to care about the lady youâd almost gotten killed.â
âI did care master, I swear it,â Ria persuaded. âIt was Vivian that talked me into everything. I didnât have any bad intentions for Ava at all from the start.â
âSheâs lying master, I didnât do anything to persuade her. Sheâ¦â
âShut up! Both of you!â Lucas yelled, taking a deep breath as he let out the steam in his body with the words.
A moment of silence, and then with a calmer voice, he continued, âwhy did you do it? After everything Iâve done for you both, even Kiara, as honorable as she was, never had so much pleasure from me like the both of you did, and yet sheâd never think of such. I just want to know why you decided to perform such wickedness.â
They looked at each other, and then, Vivian decided to go first.
âWe thought we were losing you master; your mind had travelled elsewhere since the day you met her. You were paying TOO much attention to herâ¦â
âThatâs not an excuse Vivian, sheâs my mate, the amount of attention I decide to pay her is none of your business. You do not decide to choose the time I should spend with any woman, even the time I spend with you and Ria. I do.â
He turned to Ria, and âdo you have anything to say before I pass my final judgement?â
Ria bent her head, letting out her grief through her words too.
âYou took it out on us master, every time she hurt you, we were the ones that would suffer for it.
Ever since she came into your life, you began to hurt us, you began to derive your satisfaction by causing us pain; something youâd never done to us before. All because of her⦠it was all because of her you hurt us. She hurt you and then you hurt us more,â Ria cried. Now that the words had come out, she truly wished Ava were dead. At least she would die with the satisfaction of knowing that she killed that bitch herself. Bitches like that didnât deserve to live.
For the first time in a long time, Lucasâs face mirrored surprise. Ria was right about the things she said, but there was one tiny little detail she missed, they were all in an agreement.
âRia.â
âYes master.â
âDid you ever talk to me about it? Did you ever come to me and complain that I hurt you in ways I shouldnât have?â
âYou wouldnât have listened master, youâ¦â
âThatâs doesnât answer my question Ria.â
Ria bent her head defeatedly. âNo master.â
âI know you speak the truth Ria, and I am not shaming you for it at all. I just thought weâd have enough closure for us to talk about the things we could handle and things we couldnât during play. But now, I see we donât have that at all.â
âBut mastâ¦â
âI am sorry if drew pleasures from your body in ways I shouldnât have, but that did NOT give you the right to plan to take the life of an innocent woman who did nothing to deserve your cruelty.â
âAlpha Lucâ¦â
âEven if you didnât want to talk to me about it, if youâd just waited a little longer. Just a little bit longer, if youâd have just let patience wipe the bitterness and hatred from your empty hearts just for a while. ⦠you would have had your master back. Ava was getting ready to leave and return to her betrothed on the day you planned to kill her.â
Ria and Vivian turned look at each other in shock, unable to make anything of this realization.
Truly, they were ashamed of themselves and their actions.
âI am upset, truly upset not because you both turned out to be the culprits, but because the culprits turned out to be people I hold dear to my heart. I hardly let people near me, not even my pack members, but I let you both, and instead, you betrayed me; I will never forgive you for that.â
Tears were already streaming from Riaâs cheeks; she knew she shouldnât have let this witch kneeling beside her to convince her into trying to kill masterâs mate. She closed her eyes and waited for the next set of words about to proceed from Lucasâs mouth. It was time to accept things the way they would be from now on.
âI hereby pronounce my judgement on you both; Vivian and Ria, Omegas of the Dawn pack. I will spare your lives, but you are no longer welcome to stay here forever. You are hereby banished from the dawn pack starting from this moment, and you are to leave immediately. If any of you, at any point in time ever dares try to return here, I will kill you myself. Let it be so from this day.â
