Chapter 8: Thomas

Accidentally Bent (Boyxboy) ✔

Honestly, I am on a roll with this story. Maybe I should wing it more often. I forgot how much I missed writing without plotting.

I bet I'd have a bunch of books out if I did this more often 😂 probably not best quality, but I'd still have fun writing them.

Anyway, enjoy this chapters, loves 💫

Please don't forget to vote! I'm even updating quick for once 😂

*Thomas's pov*

I scowled when I saw Jayden and Rhys making out in front of their lockers, Jayden's hand was tightly wrapped around Rhy's ass and she was pressed up against his body as if there was an invisible force pushing her from behind.

"Get a room!" I called out and Rhys quickly pulled away in surprise. Jayden had his usual lopsided grin, looking like he just won the lottery.

"Hey, Tommy," he smirked. I pointed at my lip.

"You have a little something..."

Rhys helped Jayden wipe away the residue of her lipstick before fixing her hair. She quickly cleared her voice, eager to change the subject.

"So how was detention?"

"Was fine," I shrugged.

"Did you bond with your new boyfriend?" Jayden grinned, wriggling his dark brows.

"Oh, you mean that rich kid? We barely spoke to each other."

Though he did give me a quarter and I fixed his bike. That was something, right?

"Don't underestimate the power of silence," he smirked. "I mean, take Rhys for example. You know she's hella mad when she's silent."

Rhys slapped his arm and he yelped.

"I do not!"

"When you're on your period, yeah."

"That's not the same thing," Rhys huffed. "That's an exception."

"Everything's an exception when you're on your period," Jayden sighed. "But I still love you, even though you forget to flush sometimes."

Rhys turned as red as her hair and looked like she was about to kill Jayden.

"Jayden, please stop digging your own grave," I groaned.

"What did I say?" he asked blankly. I patted his back and shook my head.

"Too much, man. Too much."

I noticed that Eli kept glancing my way. I didn't know if he thought he was being discrete or if he intentionally wanted me to pay attention to him, but he might as well use binoculars and scream my name.

He was being too obvious.

What did he want anyway? Was he still scared that I was going to tell on him and Steven? He really needs to relax. Didn't I tell him that I had no interest in his love affairs?

We walked down the hall and I noticed a girl struggling to open her lockers. I went over towards her and banged on the lower corner twice and the metal door flung open. She blinked in surprise before turning towards me.

"Bang it twice, it'll work like a charm," I winked. "Lockers around here get rusty."

She nodded, her cheeks slightly pink, and I left to join my friends again.

"You're such a flirt, Thomas," sighed Rhys.

"What?"

"Yeah man, I'm getting jealous," Jayden pouted, pretending to sound hurt. "What about me? What about us? I thought I was the apple of your eye?"

I put my hand on his shoulder.

"What do you mean? You're my one and only babe, you know that."

Rhys let out a funny noise and quickly squeezed in between us. Jayden and I laughed.

"You know Tommy," she said when Jayden looped an arm over her shoulder. "It really wouldn't be hard for you to get a girlfriend. A lot of girls look your way and you don't even notice them."

Whether or not they did, girls weren't really my priority. As much as Jayden loved Rhys, even he admitted that dating could be troublesome sometimes.

A relationship required time and effort, two things that I didn't have.

The number of times Jayden has called me, complaining about how Rhys was being extra feisty because she was on her period, was something I wouldn't be able to do for my girl if I was in a relationship. Not now, anyway.

The last time I accompanied him to a convenience store at 2 a.m to pick out some flowers and chocolate for his girlfriend.

My older sister, Elle, gave me hell for sneaking out on a school night, saying that I should have told her beforehand. She always worried whenever I went off somewhere as if I'd leave and never come back like our mom.

So the idea of dating just never interested me. Taking care of my sisters was my main focus.

When we turned around the corner, someone pushed me hard with his shoulder and I staggered back.

Oh great, it was Steven.

"Ugh," he sneered, wiping his shoulder like there was dirt on it.

"I could say the same."

"Watch where you're going, dirtbag." His friends laughed.

"Then watch where you put your hands," I smirked back, smug. Steven stepped forward, his jaw was tightly clenched.

"You better watch your mouth," he hissed, low enough for only me to hear. My nose wrinkled.

"And you might want to wash yours."

Before he could say anything, Rhys squeezed in between us and pushed him away.

"Hey, what's your problem?" she demanded. Steven glared at her.

"Who are you?" He sneered, which was when Jayden stepped him, shoving Steven back and standing protectively in front of Rhys.

"You better watch the way you speak to my girl," he warned, every trace of his goofy personality replaced with anger.

Steven clenched his fists but Jayden was just as tall as him. He knew better than to mess with someone who took boxing.

Steven's angry eyes shifted back towards me and pointed and accusing finger at my nose. I was tempted to bite it off. "You better watch it."

I grinned. "Then keep your wandering hands to yourself." I sneered. Steven's glanced towards his friends who looked confused. I guess he was scared that I'd tell his little secret because he threw me a threatening glare before shoving past me.

"What was that all about?" Rhys asked. I've gotten into trouble with bullies, but never with the rich ones. I shrugged lazily.

"I think he has a crush on me."

Jayden laughed but Rhys narrowed her eyes as if she knew that what just happened wasn't just an accident. Girls were always quick with their instincts, it was scary.

"Look, I don't know what's going on in his head either," I sighed. "Who knows what those remaining three brain cells are doing up there? Anyway, let's go. We're going to be late for class."

Rhys looked like she was about to say something but we heard the bell ring, and we ran down the hall.

A/N: I know this is a weird question, but I like weird questions and getting to my readers. I even recognize some of you in the comments.

How did you guys lose your baby teeth? Did your parents yank it out or did they fall naturally?

I lost one of them while biting into an apple. The rest were yanked out by my dad (when they were loose enough, ofc). I was laughing while bleeding, thinking it was funny. Must have been a crazy kid.
