Chapter 620

After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities

Chapter 620

Sylvia raised her lips in a smirk. "Miss Saunders, you seem to have

forgotten who hurt my husband just now? And what you just said

makes me look like a heartless woman who doesn't care about her

husband, huh?"

Isla’s face turned livid. She hated how Franklin protected Sylvia, and

she was angry at Sylvia's mockery.

Why was this woman so lucky to protected by Franklin? The more Isla

thought about it, the more unbalanced she felt inside.

But in front of Franklin, she couldn't vent her anger. She could only

forcefully suppress all the jealousy deep down inside.

"Miss Andrews, you are joking. That wasn't what I meant,” Isla said

through gritted teeth.

“If that's not what you meant, then shut your mouth and eat your food,"

Sylvia said coldly, her eyes carrying a hint of warning.

Isla clenched her fists tightly, thinking, "Sylvia, one day I will make you

suffer the humiliation and pain that I am suffering today."

Urgford Airport.

A tall man pushed a suitcase out of the airport while holding onto a

young girl's hand.

Jenna wore a white down jacket with its snow-white fur collar making

her cheeks look even smaller than they already were.

“Brayden, Mrs. Ritter wants to meet me at three o'clock this afternoon.”

“Then let's go to our hotel first and rest for a while before we go see

her.” Brayden wore a black cashmere coat with dark circles under his

eyes, indicating he had not been getting enough rest lately, but his

handsome features still attracted many onlookers’ attention.

Even though Jenna was wearing warm clothes and gloves, she still felt

cold.

Brayden held her cold hands tightly, afraid that Jenna would get lost.

"Why are your hands so cold? Let's hurry to the hotel."

Getting out of the airport, he hailed a taxi, and told the driver the hotel

address.

There was heating in the taxi, so Jenna felt less uncomfortable.

It was cold and dry in Urgford in winter, and Jenna hadn't adjusted

herself in such a climate, so she felt colder than usual.

Fortunately, the hotel was not far away from the airport, and they

arrived after half an hour.

"I got a suite because it's not safe for us to live separately,” Brayden

held Jenna's hand as they entered the room.

"We need to save Dad, so we should try to save money. This suite

cannot compare to the presidential suites we used to stay in, but it has

two rooms and it's decent enough.”

He put down his luggage and held Jenna's hand. "Jenna, I'm sorry for

dragging you into this."

Jenna blinked her eyes. "What do you mean? This room is great! It's

big and cozy."

She smiled slightly. “I'm a little hungry.”

“Let's have food offered by the hotel for now. After we meet Mrs. Ritter

later tonight, I'll take you out for some good food," Brayden looked at

the girl in front of him with some guilt.

He felt bad about bringing her all the way here with him.

"Okay." Jenna nodded heavily; at least there was heating here.

The whole room was warm.

She took off her white down jacket and the light purple sweater dress

inside which outlined her curvy figure was revealed.

A hint of desire flashed across Brayden's eyes before he called guest

services.

In just a few minutes, a waiter came over with their meal - two ordinary

meals that weren't too bad tasting.

Jenna was really hungry; she picked up her fork right away and started

eating happily.

Seeing how much she enjoyed the meal made Brayden smile

involuntarily from ear-to-ear.

After finishing their meal together they went back to their respective

rooms for rest.

Jenna set an alarm clock for 2 p. m. that afternoon; when it rang, there

was a momentary pause in her brain before she realized where she

was - Urgford!

She had come all this way looking for Mrs. Ritter who was also head of

Larro's piano association.

Jenna had some connections with her. Though they were not close,

she still hoped that Mrs. Ritter could lend them a hand, since only Mr.

Ritter, Mrs. Ritter's husband, as well as one of founding fathers - if he

spoke up for Cody, Cody might get a chance to be released!

As Jenna thought about that, she got up from her bed and freshened

up before walking out of her room. She saw Brayden slouching on the

couch in the living room with his eyes tightly closed.
